Instead of Americans voting for their favorite America's Got Talent season 19 contestant on Tuesday, September 10, they'll be getting more information on who they can vote for as president this Election Day. America's Got Talent is not airing on Tuesday, September 10, as NBC is covering the 2024 presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump from 8-11 pm ET/5-8 pm PT.

However, AGT fans will be happy to know that they won't have to go without the competition this week, as NBC is just shifting its air dates. The semifinal round of America's Got Talent season 19 is going to air on Wednesday, September 11, at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC, followed by the results show at 8 pm ET/PT on Thursday, September 12.

The AGT season 19 semifinals will see 12 acts perform and hope to earn enough votes to move on to the finals. The acts are: Ashes & Arrows, Richard Goodall, Kelsey Jane, Learnmore Jonasi, Solange Kardinaly, Pranysqa Mishra, Roni & Rhythm, Alex Sampson, Sky Elements, Brent Street, Reid Wilson and Young-Min. 

Only six of these acts will be able to move on to the finals, where they will join the four acts that have already advanced to the finals via Golden Buzzers from their quarterfinal appearances: Airfootworks, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, Sebastian & Sonia and Dee Dee Simon.

In order to watch America's Got Talent season 19 semifinals, you must have access to NBC, but there are a couple of ways to get the channel. There are the old-school ways: signing up for a traditional pay-TV provider or having a TV antenna to receive local station signals. Then there’s the more new school approach, which includes live TV streaming services that carry NBC (ie, Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV) or subscribing to Peacock. In the case of the latter, the Peacock Premium Plus plan will allow you to watch NBC’s broadcast of the show live, but you can also watch it on-demand the next day with either Peacock Premium Plus or Peacock Premium.

As for the presidential debate, ABC News is hosting the debate, but NBC and all of the other main broadcast networks (ABC, CBS and Fox) are going to air their own coverage, as are cable news networks like CNN and Fox News. This is the only presidential debate scheduled at this time between Harris and Trump, though a vice presidential debate is slated to take place on October 1.

America's Got Talent season 19 is expected to revert back to its usual Tuesday/Wednesday schedule for this season's finals, set to take place on September 17 and 18.

The singing competition is still a popular format on TV, but America's Got Talent ups the ante a bit, serving as a competition show not just for gifted singers looking for their big break, but talented performers of all varieties. With America's Got Talent season 19 on NBC, fans once again got to spend the summer watching some amazing acts.

America's Got Talent, or AGT for short, has become a massive franchise for NBC. In addition to its flagship series, inching closer to 20 years on TV, AGT has grown with America's Got Talent: Fantasy League, America's Got Talent All-Stars and America's Got Talent: Extreme; and that is not including the international versions of the series, including Britain's Got Talent.

How to watch America's Got Talent season 19

America's Got Talent season 19 judges

Outside of the performers, the judges are the stars of America's Got Talent, as they are the initial gatekeepers on what acts advance or not. Long-time fans of the series won't have to get used to anyone new this season, as the quartet of Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara are all back in their roles.

Mandel is the longest-tenured judge of the four, having been on AGT since season 5. Cowell, who is also an executive producer on the show, has sat in as a judge since season 11. Klum and Vergara, meanwhile, both joined the show in season 15.

Something new to know with the judges, each of them are going to get two Golden Buzzers to hand out instead of the traditional one, as made evident by one of the trailers you can watch below.

America's Got Talent season 19 host

NBC has kept the recent AGT team together, as in addition to returning judges, Terry Crews is back as host for the competition show. Crews has served as the host since season 14. Outside of AGT, Crews is known for his roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Everybody Hates Chris and movies like The Longest Yard and The Expendables.

The America's Got Talent franchise is going strong, as a brand new spinoff of the competition franchise is here, America's Got Talent: Fantasy League.

Following in the footsteps of other AGT spinoffs like America's Got Talent: Extreme, America's Got Talent: All-Stars and America's Got Talent: The Champions, America's Got Talent: Fantasy League is giving AGT fans a chance to see some of their favorite acts return in an all-new format for the competition.

When is the next America's Got Talent: Fantasy League episode?

After the 10 finalists performed for the final time, the results and first-ever winner of America's Got Talent: Fantasy League will be announced on a special results episode on Monday, February 19, at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.

America's Got Talent: Fantasy League format 

This is an all-new format for America's Got Talent, one that is designed to resemble the popularity of fantasy sports.

On America's Got Talent: Fantasy League, the judges will choose their own roster of 10 acts from 40 acts made up of past winners, finalists, viral sensations and fan favorites from different AGT franchises around the world. The specific acts will be chosen from a field of 60 by an initial vote that opens after the AGT season 18 finale and is available on the AGT app.

The goal will be for each judge to have as many of their acts move onto the finals and, hopefully, win the whole thing (kind of similar to NBC's other popular reality competition show, The Voice). Acts will be moved into the finals through America's votes, but also Golden Buzzers.

However, there's a tweak with the Golden Buzzer. A judge can use their Golden Buzzer to move their own act through or to steal an act from another judge's team.

America's Got Talent: Fantasy League judges and host 

The four judges participating in America's Got Talent: Fantasy League are quite familiar to AGT fans: Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and, returning for the first time since season 13, Mel B.

In addition, Terry Crews is back hosting this iteration of America's Got Talent, just as he does for the flagship show.

How to watch America's Got Talent: Fantasy League 

When America's Got Talent: Fantasy League premieres, it'll do so on NBC, which is available to anyone with a traditional cable package or a TV antenna. If you prefer a live streaming service, NBC is offered on multiple services, including Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV.

Peacock is also an option, as subscribers can catch the latest episode of NBC originals on-demand through the streaming service. If you sign up for Peacock Premium Plus, you can do one better and watch your local NBC station live through the platform.

It is not clear if America's Got Talent: Fantasy League is going to be made available in the UK.

That rainfall of confetti when one of the judges uses their Golden Buzzer is always the most exciting part of the America's Got Talent auditions, but just how many Golden Buzzers are allowed on AGT overall?

We've already seen three acts receive the coveted golden buzzer during America's Got Talent season 18's first three episodes, with Georgia-based youth percussionists, the Atlanta Drum Academy, getting the ultimate kudos from AGT host Terry Crews, who hit his buzzer following the group's colorful, spirited drumline performance. 

That sent the drummers straight to the live shows alongside fellow Golden Buzzer acts Mzansi Youth Choir, who received the first-ever Audience Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell in the season premiere, and Indonesian singer-pianist Putri Ariana, another Golden Buzzer pick from Simon in episode 2. 

Though Simon and the rest of the judges' panel — Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara — praised the Atlanta Drum Academy ("What's not to like? They're so much fun, they're so talented, this is one of my favorite auditions this year," Cowell said), Terry stopped the foursome from voting. 

"No, no, no, there is no need to vote," the host yelled, hopping off the stage to join the judges. "You told me backstage that you dream of being on AGT and getting a golden buzzer," Crews directed at the academy's adorable frontman, 8-year-old Chioma Narcisse-Williams. "Now Chioma and the Atlanta Drum Academy, I am honored to make that dream come true," he added, before smashing the buzzer and letting that celebratory confetti rain down. "It is amazing!" Chioma cheered. 

But now that we already have a trio of Golden Buzzers this season, viewers might be wondering just how many acts will be straight-shot through to the live shows. 

While acts must earn at least three "Yes" votes from the judges to advance from the auditions to the live shows, which will kick off on August 22, any of the four judges, as well as host Terry Crews, can each hit the Golden Buzzer once to personally send an act through to the next round. 

Along with those five Golden Buzzer opportunities, there is also a group Golden Buzzer this year, as well as a fan-led Golden Buzzer pick. So during the pre-taped audition process, seven acts can be fast-tracked to round two in season 18.

Move over, Steel Panther, there's a new fan-favorite act on America's Got Talent season 18, Mitch Rossell, whose moving country ballad brought audiences to tears both on screen and at home. 

The 35-year-old Tennessee native had some stiff competition on June 6's episode, from hand-clapping, fan-snapping trap choir SAINTED to adrenaline-pumping balancing act The Ramadhani Brothers. But Rossell stood out from the pack thanks to his incredibly moving audition, a performance of an original song the singer called "the most personal thing I've ever written." 

"When I was 10 years old, I lost my father in a drunk driving incident, it was kind of a freak accident," Rossell emotionally revealed before taking the stage. "My grandfather happened to be driving his truck coming one way on a highway and my dad and my grandmother-in-law were in his work van coming back from a job and they were about to cross each other and the drunk driver hit my grandfather from behind and sent him into my dad's lane. My grandfather, grandmother-in-law and my dad all lost their lives."

"The next few years were definitely really challenging for me. After high school, I was sitting there one day and I just wanted to connect with my dad. I decided, 'today's the day I was going to learn to play guitar'," Rossell added. "It was the only thing he ever really asked me to do. I felt like I was making him proud."

Entitled "Son," the original song tells the story of Rossell's loss and relationship with his father, culminating in the lyric: "He said my world revolves around you, that's why I call you son."

"I went for years and never wrote a song about it, and had a son of my own, and I think that finally allowed me to really write about it and bring it full circle," Rossell told the AGT judges, who were as teared up by the song as the rest of the audience. 

"You could hear a pin drop through the entire performance, and it was sincere," Simon Cowell said. "I really, really think people are going to connect with you, the song — this was a great audition. Brilliant." Howie Mandell concurred, telling Rossell that he predicts "Son" would soon become the number-one downloaded country song in America. 

And based on fan reactions on social media, Howie may be onto something.

Japanese dancer Kenichi Ebina described his act as "dance-ish" in his audition, but whatever you want to call it he quickly became a fan favorite act on season 8 of the show.

Animal acts have been a long-time favorite for America's Got Talent, but the only one to go all the way and win the show was Olate Dogs, which saw father and son Richard and Nicholas Olate and their team of pups show off some fantastic tricks and teamwork. 

America's Got Talent season 6 winner: Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. 

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. used one of America's truly original art forms to secure a win on America's Got Talent, as he was a jazz singer. After his success on the show he has released multiple albums, including That's Life, which reached number one on the Billboard jazz album chart and a Christmas album titled Christmas Made for Two. 

America's Got Talent season 5 winner: Michael Grimm 

Singer/guitarist Michael Grimm continued the early trend of America's Got Talent of singers earning the top prize, but it's hard to argue when he gave performances like his rendition of "When a Loves a Woman" from the season 5 finale. A career highlight post AGT was when he opened for Stevie Nicks on tour. 

America's Got Talent season 4 winner: Kevin Skinner 

Kevin Skinner was a country singer/guitarist that rode his pipes all the way to the winner's circle of AGT in season 4. Skinner's post-AGT story is a bit heart-breaking, as he battled depression and was missing for a time, but was later found. Despite releasing an album in 2010, Skinner has not been active in the music scene in recent years. 

America's Got Talent season 3 winner: Neal E. Boyd 

Neal E. Boyd brought the opera to America's Got Talent, as the classically trained singer used his skills to impress AGT viewers and ultimately win the entire competition. He released an album, My American Dream, in 2009. Boyd unfortunately passed away in 2018. 

America's Got Talent season 2 winner: Terry Fator 

While singing was part of Terry Fator's winning act, he is one of the rare non (traditional) singers to win AGT in its early seasons, as he is a ventriloquist. After his winning performances on the show, he has become a mainstay in Vegas, performing at casinos and hotels for many years. 

America's Got Talent season 1 winner: Bianca Ryan

America's Got Talent's first winner was also the youngest winner in the show's history, as 11-year-old Bianca Ryan sang her way to the winner's circle. She went on to release an eponymously titled studio album and had some acting roles.

Steel Panther brought head-banging heavy metal to America's Got Talent season 18 — but are they already too big for AGT?

At the America's Got Talent auditions during the show's premiere episode on Tuesday, May 30, fans were introduced to a quartet of long-haired hard rockers: Michael Starr, Satchel, Stix and Spyder, better known as Steel Panther. Before the group took the stage, video clips of famous musicians such as Dave Navarro, lead guitarist for Jane's Addiction, extolled the rock 'n roll bonafides of the band, already a clue that this wasn't any old amateur performance. 

Prior to tearing through their song "Eyes of a Panther" from their album Feel the Steel — and offering lifetime Steel Panther tickets and backstage passes to AGT's bombshell judges, Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum — lead singer Michael Starr informed the women as well as fellow judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel that the band actually has six studio albums, as well as several live records. 

And even more, the famous Los Angeles-based band had previously played the 40th birthday bash of Vergara's husband, Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello. 

"I've seen these guys. My husband Joe hired them for his 40th birthday and it was the best birthday he ever had. You guys are amazing!" the Modern Family star proclaimed. 

The band didn't just win over the crowd with their guitar licks and spandex-legged kicks, but also the judges: Vergara as well as the rest of the judges' panel put Steel Panther through to the next round. "I'm sure a lot of your friends were like, 'You shouldn't come on a show like this.' I'm a great believer in, 'You do what you want to do'," Cowell told the rockers. "You're so talented, it's so clear you've been doing this a long time... I can see this in Vegas."

New episodes of America's Got Talent season 18 air on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC. Previous episodes are available to stream on Peacock.

Since 2006, America's Got Talent auditions have been a summer TV staple, as individuals from across the country share their impressive and unique talents with audiences and the AGT judges in the hopes of winning a $1 million prize. With America's Got Talent season 18 premiering on Tuesday, May 30, at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC, the network is getting viewers excited with a sneak peek at some of the brand new acts that they'll see on the show.

NBC released early clips of just two of the many acts that viewers are going to get to see on the May 30 episode, sharing them on AGT's YouTube channel.

The first features a performer called Shadow Ace from the Philippines. As his name alludes to, his talent is shadow art. Howie Mendell and Heidi Klum understood that as shadow puppets, you know, when you create a dog or a bunny using your hands' shadow lit against the wall. However, Shadow Ace is "reviving" this lost art form. When you watch his performance directly below you will see exactly what he means, with nods to Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" and Psy's "Gangam Style."

The second audition that AGT is giving fans a sneak peek at is a bit more traditional in the sense that it is a musical act, but not a genre that appears too often on the show — heavy metal. The quartet that calls themselves Steel Panther came onto the stage decked out just like you'd want a metal band to be and as a result received a standing ovation from the audience before even playing a note. They also tried to earn some extra points with Sofia Vegara and Heidi by promising them Steel Panther tickets and backstage passes for life (do the AGT rulebooks cover bribes?) But how do they sound? NBC's America’s Got Talent season 18 brought a new batch of contestants showcasing their amazing skills

America's Got Talent has become a flagship series for NBC, with a couple of spinoffs stemming from the competition series: America's Got Talent: Extreme and America's Got Talent: All-Stars. But this one is going to be the AGT that fans have come to know and love, with talented performers from all across North America hoping to join the previous 17 AGT winners and claim the $1 million prize.

America voted, and the winner of America's Got Talent season 18 was Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, an incredible dog act that won the hearts of fans. See the winning moment right here:

America's Got Talent season 18 judges 

The quartet of judges for America's Got Talent remains the same as it has since season 15, with Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara deciding who will advance each week. 

Cowell is best known from his time as a judge on American Idol, though he has also been a judge and producer on X Factor and Britain's Got Talent, as well as the America's Got Talent spinoffs.

Heidi Klum is a model and producer of TV shows like Project Runway, Queen of Drags and Making the Cut.

Howie Mandel is a comedian and actor. Prior to AGT, he was the host of the US version of the game show Deal or No Deal.

Sofia Vergara is an actress who is best known for her long-run on Modern Family, as well as Chef, Hot Pursuit and Machete.

Majority approval from the judges is needed for acts to advance. However, each judge has a Golden Buzzer that they can use throughout the audition process. Using the Golden Buzzer immediately moves that performer onto the live shows, regardless of the judges other opinions.

Terry Crews returns as the host of America's Got Talent for season 18. Crews is an actor who has previously starred in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Tales of the Walking Dead, The Longest Yard and Idiocracy. He has been with AGT since season 14. Like the judges, Crews also has the ability to use a Golden Buzzer.

The America's Got Talent universe is expanding, folks. A new spinoff series, America's Got Talent: All-Stars is ready to freshen your memory of past winners, finalists and other fan favorites as former acts from all across the franchise go head-to-head for the ultimate AGT title. 

AGT: All-Stars isn't the first time fans have gotten a spinoff from America's Got Talent proper: there was, most recently, America's Got Talent Extreme, which showcased physical stunts and aired in February 2022, and America's Got Talent: The Champions, which featured returning winners and ran for two seasons from January 2019 to February 2020. The latter series had similarities to AGT: All-Stars, but the format has been freshened up for the new show. (More on that in a bit.)

When is the next net America's Got Talent: All Stars episode?

The winner of America's Got Talent: All-Stars is going to be revealed on NBC Monday, February 27. The two-hour episode, which starts a 8 pm ET/PT, is not only going to feature more performances from the 11 finalists, but also appearances from Weezer, Baby Face, Adam Lambert, Lindsey Sterling, Terry Fator, and Matt Franco and the Voices of Hope choir group.

America's Got Talent: All-Stars format

The format of America's Got Talent: All-Stars differentiates the spinoff from the main series.

"Each week 10 Acts — including singers, dancers, ventriloquists, comedians, aerialists, magicians and more — will perform for the Judges for the chance to earn one of the coveted five Golden Buzzers and move on to the Finals," reads the official series synopsis of AGT: All-Stars. 

"The AGT Superfans will also vote on one additional Act per episode to move onto the Finals.  Following the final performances, the superfans will vote again on the 11 finalists to choose the winner, which will be revealed in the two-hour star-studded finale."

One additional note, in each episode a single host is given the ability to use a Golden Buzzer, which moves one act directly into the finals.

Who are the America’s Got Talent judges, host?

America’s Got Talent is running it back with its judges of Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. This is the third straight season that this quartet have served as the judges for America’s Got Talent, though Cowell, Klum and Mandel have been with the show longer (as far back as season 5 for Mandel).

Meanwhile, hosting duties once again belong to Terry Crews. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Everybody Hates Chris star is in his fourth season serving as the host for America’s Got Talent.

Nikki Bella took no prisoners on the third round of America's Got Talent: Extreme auditions.

The latest round of America's Got Talent: Extreme auditions saw yet another group of adrenaline junkies descending on the show to show off their talents to the judging panel. 

Although there were plenty of impressive acts such as Cyndel Flores' Golden Buzzer-winning sway pole routine and a head-to-head challenge between 17-year-old racing driver Chloe Chambers and Simon Cowell, it was the final group of the night that got fans talking online.

America's Little Sisters were a group of four women from all across North America who "jello wrestle", an act that definitely didn't impress the judges. When Nikki Bella asked what they meant, the group explained that they don't wrestle with each other, just the jello that was on stage. 

The group began their act but received three buzzers from Nikki, Simon Cowell, and Travis Pastrana shortly thereafter. When it came time for the judges' comments, Nikki said she "wouldn't have hit an X, if you girls could have done it like me", before taking out her earrings and walking up on stage to show them how it's done.

There, she said "if you wanted a yes from me, this is what you should've done" before suplexing her into the pool of jello, leaving the rest of America's Little Sisters (and the other judges!) absolutely speechless.

Nikki's stunt left the rest of the judges flabbergasted, and the live studio audience went absolutely wild. She didn't just impress the people on-set, either, as loads of fans watching at home headed straight to social media to react to the end of the show.

One fan tweeted: "Ladies, leave it to the pros. LOVED this", tagging the Bella Twins' official account to make sure they saw. 

Another chimed in with: "not Nikki hitting a contestant with a suplex, fearless Nikki kicked in and went full force".

With the third round of auditions out of the way, there's now just one episode left to go in this first action-packed season of America's Got Talent: Extreme.

NBC’s America’s Got Talent has already crowned the winner for its latest season, but soon fans of the popular competition show will have a brand new set of contestants to root for, and it is going to be extreme, as in a brand new spinoff called America’ Got Talent: Extreme. NBC announced the new competition show in May, but has now officially named its host and judges for the show.

In addition to AGT staples Terry Crews, who will once again serve as host for AGT: Extreme, and executive producer and judge Simon Cowell, NBC has tapped two additional judges that will know a thing or two about extreme sports: Nikki Bella and Travis Pastrana.

Bella is a former WWE superstar and more recently a New York Times best-selling author, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and reality TV star. Pastrana is a professional motocross and rally car driver, and has done some pretty insane stunts in his career, including honoring Evil Knievel and jumping the fountain at Caesar Palace in Las Vegas.

AGT: Extreme is going to be all about the most outrageous, unique and jaw-dropping acts “that simply cannot be confined to a theater stage,” says NBC’s official press release. The show will presumably follow the same format as America’s Got Talent, with the ultimate winner taking home a $500,000 prize and the title of champion of America’s Got Talent: Extreme.

This spinoff series comes after TBS has already done something similar with the Go-Big Show on TBS, which highlights outrageous and unusual talents with a panel of judges that include Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles and Cory Rhodes.

NBC has not announced an official premiere date for America’s Got Talent: Extreme. However, included in the announcement of Bella and Pastrana, NBC did share that auditions are currently underway for AGT season 17.

Who are the ‘America’s Got Talent’ judges, host?

Before the aspiring contestants can make it to audience votes, they first have to audition for America’s Got Talent’s panel of four judges. In season 16, that includes the quartet of Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mendel, all of whom are returning from season 15.

Cowell, of course, is no stranger to reality competition series, having made his name in the U.S. as one of the original and toughest hosts on American Idol (he was a host on Britain’s Got Talent previously). He’s been with AGT since it’s 11th season. Vergara is best known for her role in the sitcom Modern Family, but season 16 is her second full season as a judge on AGT. TV host and model Heidi Klum, meanwhile, returned to AGT in season 15 after taking a year off, but prior to that she spent six seasons as a judge. Then there’s Howie Mendel, the longest tenured host on AGT, having been with it since season 5.

Actor and comedian Terry Crews (Brooklyn 99) is also on hand as the host of AGT, which he has been since season 14.

When did ‘America’s Got Talent’ season 16 premiere?

Season 16 of America’s Got Talent has been back on NBC since June 1. The auditions aired weekly up until July 20, when the show took a two week break as NBC covered the Tokyo Olympics.

AGT is back with live episodes. First up are the quarterfinals, which will feature three rounds of 12 performers, each airing two nights (Aug. 10/11, Aug. 17/18 and Aug. 24/25). The first episode for each quarterfinal round will be performances, while the second is the results show.
