Thankfully, the reality TV powers that be have listened to your wishes because just a few short weeks after the premiere of Big Brother season 27 (which debuted on Thursday, July 10—here's how you can tune in online or on TV from around the world), CBS is premiering the all-new Big Brother: Unlocked behind-the-scenes series tonight at 8pm Eastern Time.

Every other Friday night, you can join hosts and Big Brother alum Taylor Hale (who won season 24 of the long-running reality competition series, making her the first Black woman to win the $750,000 prize and the America's Favorite Houseguest title) and season 16 victor Derrick Levasseur as they guide BB fans through never-before-seen footage from the house, interviews, guest appearances and other behind-the-scenes access.

Along with sharing insight as they analyze gameplay, assess the competition and give their perspective throughout the season, Hale and Levasseur will be joined by mystery celebrity guests and surprise show alumni to break down the drama and deliver their reactions.

Like Big Brother proper, Big Brother: Unlocked will air on CBS, which means if you want to tune into the new behind-the-scenes series live on Friday evenings, you're going to need access to the channel. CBS is included with most cable packages but if you’ve cut the cord, you can also watch CBS shows live via streaming platforms like FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream.

Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers will be able to live stream the show via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on-demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live but will have access to on-demand the day after the episode airs. Previous seasons of Big Brother are available to stream on Paramount Plus, and Paramount Plus subscribers will also have access to the 24/7 Live Feeds once the season begins.

Big Brother season 27 premieres July 10. The show will air Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 9 pm ET/PT. The Thursday eviction show will be live for East Coast viewers and delayed for the West Coast. This year will feature the premiere of the behind the scenes special, Big Brother Unlocked, airing every other Friday (time TBA) beginning July 25. The BB Live Feeds will once again be available for Paramount Plus subscribers, and you can tune in to the live feeds for free on Pluto TV.

Big Brother season 27 will air live on CBS. Celebrity Big Brother 2025 is back with a fresh set of celebrities living in the Big Brother house - and we now have six remaining housemates all battling to be crowned the winner in Friday night's final!

Following the success of Big Brother UK 2024 on ITVX and ITV2, our new celebs left their glitzy homes behind earlier this month to be locked inside the house, which moved to a brand-new location for this series.

Now we know that Chesney, Chris, Danny, Donna, Jack and JoJo are this year's finalists - but who will win? You decide.

The new series of Celebrity Big Brother started on Monday, April 7.

The series airs every evening on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player at 9pm and if you don't live in the UK you can use a VPN for streaming.

The 2025 live final will air on ITV1 on Friday, April 25 at 9pm.

Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live on ITV2 will follow the main show at 10.30pm. The companion show will see our hosts going over all the latest gossip with David Potts, Tiffany Pollard and Oti Mabuse as this year's Celebrity House Guests.

Let's meet this year's celebrities...

Patsy Palmer

Best known for playing iconic EastEnders character Bianca Jackson since 1993, DJ and TV star Patsy has joined the Big Brother line-up this year. Patsy has also appeared on Dancing On Ice and Strictly.

She says: "I’m really looking forward to walking through the iconic doors and meeting a group of brand-new people. It’s a fascinating experience and that’s one aspect that excites me. I’m also looking forward to having a break from technology. We all spend so much time on our phones so having no access to that will be incredibly refreshing."

Trisha Goddard

Trisha is best known for her self-titled chat show on ITV before its move to Channel 5, as well as its US version. She now hosts on Talk and occasionally appears on Good Morning Britain.

Speaking of what she will miss while she is in the house, Trisha said: "My darling husband, talking to my kids, music and walking in the woods.

"I hope I'm an easy housemate to get on with. My strengths are my sense of humor and not sweating the small stuff."

Jack P Shepherd

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd - who is best known for his role as Weatherfield's David Platt is following in the footsteps of his good friend and Corrie co-star Colson Smith, who starred in the 2024 series.

Speaking of the show, he said he will be the one making the tea! "I have a strength for cleaning - I like to clean. I’ll make cups of tea. I'll wash up. I'm not the best cook but I can cook. And I'm very quiet if I need to be.

"I feel like you still get everything like chocolate and sweets and things, but I'll probably miss my little dog - which is a long-haired Chihuahua."

Mickey Rourke

Hollywood superstar Mickey Rourke is a big signing for this year's line-up.

It seems Mickey already has a gameplan for the show: "I talked to a friend of mine who was on the show – Chuck Liddell – and he told me he got voted out real early. So that’ll probably happen to me. I have no expectations. I love coming over here. I haven’t been here in 8 years. Most of my good friends aren’t here anymore but I love British people and British culture so I'll enjoy talking to them [the Housemates] but I have no expectations of them."

Daley Thompson

Double Olympic gold winner Daley Thompson has joined Big Brother. He says: "I think I will get on really well with all the other housemates but I think the thing I will find annoying is loud snoring and people staying up late and keeping me awake!"

Chris Hughes

2017 Love Island star Chris Hughes now works as a TV sports correspondent.

Speaking of the show, he said: "I'd like to think I'd be an easy housemate to get on with everyone. When I meet people for the first time people say ‘God, you're so easy to talk to’ and I think people think that because you're in the public eye you’d be robotic. But I'll talk to anyone, so I think that's like a good trait to have. So I should hopefully get on with everyone."

Danny Beard

RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard is also part of this year's lineup. Danny, who is Daniel Curtis away from the stage, is no stranger to Celebrity Big Brother fans, having appeared on the spin-off show Late and Live last year.

He said: "I will miss Fanny the most. Fanny’s my dog BTW, she is my world! I'm going to miss pickled onion Monster Munch, sugar free Ribena. I'm going to miss my boyfriend massively; my friends - I have the best group of friends. I speak to them and my family every day. I'm a very, very sociable person so that's going to be the hardest thing."

Donna Preston

Comedian Donna is said to be next on the line-up list. She is best known for working with the channel on the hit comedy panel show Hey! Tracey! alongside Joel Dommett.

Donna is looking forward to a break from technology: "I think I'm most looking forward to being away from my phone. I think we've forgotten about what it’s like to be human beings and to be present in the space. I love nothing more than sitting in my conservatory and looking out at my garden, without my phone. And I'm looking forward to actually having conversations with people and listening to stories - because there'll be some fascinating people in there. As an actor I just love people watching."

Donna definitely knows what she is letting herself in for as she is already a huge fan of the show and appeared on Late and Live last year.

JoJo Siwa

American singer JoJo Siwa rose to fame on the reality TV show Dance Moms. The singer then went on to find success in the US pop charts and is now hoping to make it big in the UK.

She said: "I’d say my strengths are making people laugh and smile and have a good time - that's my forte. I think I’ll be easy to get along with - I'm a fairly easy person to get along with. At the end of the day, we're all human. And I think if you're a human that's open to conversation that's a great thing. And if you're human that's not open to conversation that’s all good - I'll go converse with somebody nicer."

Chesney Hawkes

90's pop fans are in for a treat as Chesney Hawkes has entered the house.

He said: "I'm 53 and I've spent 53 years with myself, so I think I know myself pretty well. But I reckon I'm going to learn stuff about myself. If you can reach your mid 50s and there's potential to do that, then that's really exciting. And I think I'll learn some stuff about other celebrities that I didn't know as well - so that's interesting. Oh and Tuesday night is the night we put the bins out so I'm looking forward to not doing that.

Angellica Bell

TV presenter Angellica is looking forward to her CBB experience. She said: "Listen, drama isn't my thing but I've not been locked up before! I think my positivity is a strength - the glass is always half full. That's one of my mantras. I'm good at listening to people, too. It's easy to judge people, but until you know their story, you can't make informed decisions about them. I’m also organised and tidy. I don't like mess. I do a lot of cooking – I think a well-fed house is a happy house. Let's hope we win the shopping tasks!"

Ella Rae Wise

The Only Way Is Essex's Ella Rae Wise says: "I think the most I'm looking forward to has to be meeting and getting to know new people and learning new things about myself and others, as well and being out of my comfort zone and under pressure, weirdly because I deal with pressure really well.

"I'm quite relaxed but it might be a bit different being in a house with loads of people that I normally wouldn't spend time with, or know in normal day-to-day life."

Michael Fabricant

Finally, former Tory politician Michael Fabricant is also in the CBB house.

Speaking of what he is looking forward to about the show, he said: "Meeting interesting people and having good conversations. Having some fun and to find out what it’s like being trapped with people I don’t know!"

Celebrity Big Brother 2024 hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best are back for the new series.

When the pair were confirmed as the new Big Brother hosts ahead of the show's reboot in 2023, AJ Odudu said: "I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier. Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour - and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

Will Best added: "I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear."

Who won Celebrity Big Brother 2024?

Reality TV personality David Potts was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2024, beating Fern Britton, Nikita Kuzmin, Louis Walsh and Colson Smith.

During dinner in the final show, Potts thanked the other finalists for 'letting me be me' during his time in the house, adding: "I genuinely did not think I would be in a house with 12 people who I actually genuinely really, really liked".

Big Brother kicked off tonight on ITV, and fans have already shown strong feelings about the lineup, saying they are 'so relieved' that one contestant won't be appearing. 

In the Big Brother promotional trailer, a famous face well acquainted with reality TV popped up in the Big Brother promo, as Joey Essex was shown around the new Big Brother house by Selling Sunet's Chelsea Lazkani.

But during the launch show tonight on ITV2, fans were 'so relieved' that the former TOWIE star, who has since appeared on shows like Love Island and Celebs Go Dating won't be joining the BB house - at least for now. 

'I’m so relieved Joey Essex wasn’t one of the contestants,' wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter). 

While another said, 'At least Joey Essex isn't in there. That's something, I suppose.'

And a third wrote, 'Wait you know what this means. THE JOEY ESSEX RUMOURS WERE FALSE.'

And another wrote, 'Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when there was no sign of Joey Essex.'

While another said, giving a different take, 'F**k it, just shove Joey Essex in. This is practically Love Island anyway so why not.'

Meanwhile another said, 'If the final housemate is Joey Essex, I might just lose it! Seriously, I might have to grab some eggs and pay a visit to the house! Let’s hope for someone better!'

Presenters Will Best and AJ Odudu, who were hosting duties in front of a studio audience, introduced the full line-up of 16 contestants tonight. 

In 2023, when the series made its ITV comeback after Channel 4 dropped the show, Jordan Sangha was the winner - and only time will tell who will follow in his footsteps as this year's winner. 

Fans are pleased to have the show back on screens, with one writing, 'Me thinking about how Big Brother is back from tonight and I will have something to watch every night at 9pm for the next 6 weeks.'

There is great news for Big Brother 2024 fans because the start date for the new series has finally been announced. 

ITV has confirmed today (Monday, September 23) that the new season will air from Sunday, October 6 at 9 pm on ITV2 and ITVX. 

The new series will kick off as always with the Big Brother: Live Launch, when we get to meet the latest batch of housemates preparing to move into the nation’s most iconic house. Last year Big Brother aired nightly at 9 pm (except Saturdays) across six weeks and it is thought this year's series will follow the same format.

It was announced back in the summer that following the huge success of Big Brother 2023, which saw the show return to our screens for the first time in five years, the show had been renewed for another season by ITV.

Celebrity Big Brother was also a huge hit when it aired in March this year and saw reality TV personality David Potts crowned the winner after beating Fern Britton, Nikita Kuzmin, Louis Walsh and Coronation Street favourite Colson Smith to the top spot. 

It has also been confirmed that TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing 2021 star AJ Odudu and her close friend and Dance, Dance, Dance presenter, Will Best, will return to host the new series. The pair will split hosting duties on the main show, chatting to housemates about all the latest goings-on in the Big Brother house and presiding over the live evictions. 

Following the same format as last year, in addition to the main Big Brother show we will also be treated to Big Brother: Late & Live also returns to ITV2 and ITVX each evening, bringing us unmissable action alongside hilarious discussions and deliberations with a star-studded panel of celebrity guests.

Big Brother has been tempting Houseguests for 26 seasons now. Each season features a new theme full of game-changing twists — classics include twins infiltrating the game, parents and kids competing, fans voting to determine what happens next in the game and in Big Brother season 26 it's BB AI, which adds an AI Houseguest into the mix. But the show can evolve even further to make it even better, with Love Island a great example of how to do it. 

One of the things I love about Big Brother is the live feeds. Formerly available through the CBS All Access platform and now available on Paramount Plus and Pluto TV, the live feeds give fans a chance to see what's happening in real time with the Houseguests, night or day. It's something that's unique to the show and its biggest asset. The next show evolves there needs to be an overhaul to include them more to keep the show relevant. 

Here's the issue facing the reality show right now: thanks to the live feeds (and the myriad social media accounts following the feeds 24/7, posting every single conversation and update live as they unfold) the show is much more interesting. However, CBS continues to offer the same three episode format each week, including the live eviction episode on Thursdays. By the time these episodes roll around, so much has happened behind the scenes that the actual episodes aren't relevant anymore. And if we're being truthful, they're actually pretty boring compared to what's happening on the live feeds.

I think the show should evolve to become more like Peacock’s Love Island USA, which features five episodes each week. Yes, it's a lot, but it keeps things fresher than limiting the action to only three episodes. Giving Big Brother five episodes a week allows for more coverage of what's actually happening in the house instead of trying to piece together a narrative that makes sense given how much changes from day to day, and even hour to hour, in the house. 

For example, Houseguest Angela's controversial big blowup at Matt after being crowned the first Head of Household played out in its entirety on the live feeds and for a minute it looked like she'd made the biggest mistake of all by being a bully and lashing out so early in the game. Fans watched the fallout as it came, and eventually Matt was voted out. But the taped shows, and even the live eviction, didn't hold a candle to all the action behind the scenes and everything that went into that bold move. 

Summer used to be a time for fans to catch up on their shows with reruns, then were replaced by reality shows and game shows. But with summer programming pretty sparse right now, why not go with more Big Brother? For example, CBS's summer lineup is really only consists of games shows like Lingo and Lets Make a Deal Primetime and the network premiere of Paramount Plus staple Tulsa King. Adding more Big Brother would feel organic, as it's only a one-hour time commitment each day but helps fill out the summer weeks with something new.

CBS wants to piece together its own narratives but the Houseguests are providing so much material to mine that CBS needs to churn out more episodes so that what’s happening behind the scenes isn't lost. Moving to a five episode format, or even a seven episode format, would be the innovative solution that gives fans more Big Brother bang for the buck.

Big Brother season 26 airs Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 9 pm ET/PT on CBS, with new episodes available to stream the following day on Paramount Plus. The 24/7 live feeds are available to watch on Paramount Plus and Pluto TV.

Big Brother 2024 housemates 

16 new housemates have now entered the house all hoping to scoop the life-changing cash prize of £100,000. 

When they arrived at the house, each housemate was asked to choose the red side or blue side. One side of the divide are housemates, and the other side are non-housemates. Non-housemates do not live in the Big Brother house and will face the first eviction.  

The red team includes Lily, Emma, Daze, Martha, Dean, Sarah, Marcello, Thomas, Nathan, Hanah and Rosie who now all live in storage.

Meanwhile, the blue team - Ali, Izaaz, Khaled, Segun and Ryan - now live in the luxurious Big Brother house.

After proving popular with viewers last year, TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing 2021 star AJ Odudu and her close friend and Dance, Dance, Dance presenter, Will Best, are back. 

The pair usually split hosting duties on the main show, chatting to housemates about all the latest goings-on in the Big Brother house and presiding over the live evictions. 

Speaking of their favorite moments from Big Brother history Will said: “David’s Dead”. It had it all. It was hilarious, dramatic, tragic, poignant…all in one rollercoaster reality TV episode. AJ added: My favourite moment of all time is the legendary housemate Nikki Grahame’s iconic outbursts; God rest her soul. She gave us unforgettable diary room moments like ‘Who is she?’ and ‘the mountain of cornflakes’. It doesn’t get more iconic than that."

Marcus Bentley (the original voice of Big Brother UK) has also returned as the series' narrator. 

Is there a trailer for Big Brother 2024? 

Yes, the trailer, which was released on Friday, September 13 sees guinea pigs making themselves at home in the Big Brother house. As the fluffy friends make a mess of the new house, the camera pans out to see AJ and Will watching their every move. 

A teaser trailer was released over the summer and revealed a first look at the Big Brother eye logo - which this series is made out of marbled paint.

Who won Big Brother 2023? 

Lawyer Jordan Sangha from Scunthorpe was crowned Big Brother 2023 winner in the live final on November 17, 2023. AJ and Will announced the news during the special episode, revealing that nearly six million public votes had been cast to decide the winner. "I haven't the foggiest idea [why they voted for me] but I'm delighted they did", said Jordan. "The money will be nice, won't it?". 

The big twist in Big Brother season 26 arrived in the two-night season premiere. It was a big twist to be sure, one that will definitely land in the annals of Big Brother history. It's also exhausting.

The 16 Houseguests were asked whether a 17th Houseguest should be invited into the fold and 24-year-old Ainsley from San Diego pleaded her case, blue hair and all. But after the votes didn't go in her favor, surfer girl Ainsley turned into the stuff of nightmares. Ainsley is really "Artificial Intelligence Network Self-Learning Entity" and she's actually terrifying. 

The blue BB AI transformed the game instantly, giving an advantage to those who voted in her favor and putting the Houseguests who weren't so kind in precarious situations on their first night. Losers turned into "BB Ai Mascots" who can't participate in the Head of Household or Power of Veto competitions, nor can they vote in the first eviction ceremony. However, they can be evicted. The two game "upgrades" for those who voted to allow Ainsley to enter the game include the "Deep Fake HoH" and "America's Veto." 

As a longtime Big Brother viewer, twists and turns in the game are par for the course. After all, host Julie Chen Moonves' favorite catchphrase (after "but first," of course) is to "expect the unexpected." But there's something weird about Ainsley that is making the show almost hard to watch. 

Maybe it's Ainsley's sinister nature. She's not there to help, she's there to throw a monkey wrench into the cogs of the franchise. She's playing right into the stereotype of the evil AI sent to take over the world. That's not an exaggeration, either; the Houseguests are stuck in the Big Brother house for 90 days, so she really is ruling their world, in a strict sense, and it's creepy.

In a not-entirely-ironic-anti-AI way, it would have been more entertaining to have a real human doing the job, one who is able to make decisions about the game without playing it directly. (After all, someone is controlling Ainsley from the outside... right?)

It's time to "expect the unexpected" with Big Brother season 26. This season's theme is BB AI, and the Houseguests are in for lots of twists and turns courtesy of Ainsley, the Big Brother Artificial Intelligence Entity. If you're hoping to keep track of the 16 Houseguests during their stay, Pluto TV is offering full coverage of the 24/7 live feeds as well as past seasons of the series on demand. 

Beginning July 18, Pluto TV is offering a dedicated Big Brother category on its main menu. There, Big Brother enthusiasts will be able to watch five Pop-Up channels. Four of those five channels will be individual live-stream feeds while the fifth channel will be a combined, four-way split screen with all four feeds available. There will also be a Big Brother channel where fans can watch seasons 19-25 for free. 

With the live feeds, fans can watch the Houseguests 24/7, except when competitions are underway. In that case, a screensaver will be displayed until the completion of the event when the cameras turn on again. 

Big Brother fans love the live feeds, as the show itself is only on three days a week and it's impossible to fit everything into three hours. The live feeds often reveal the winners of competitions in real time, so if you want to know who won the Head of Household of the Power of Veto competition, the live feeds can be a fount of information. 

I'm a big fan of the combined view, but I always mute the channel when I watch because you also get all four audio streams and it can get a little hectic. Sometimes you have feeds from different locations in the house, and sometimes they offer multiple views of the same room. It all depends on who is running the cameras at that moment and where the most action in the house is happening.

"BB AI" is taking over Big Brother season 26, and the 16 Houseguests living in the Big Brother house will get to experience it firsthand. Before we get to experience the Big Brother house, though, we need to meet the contestants competing for the $750,000 grand prize. 

Each season, fans tune in to see which Houseguests band together in alliances, whether overtly or in secret. This summer, the look for the Big Brother house has been created by AI prompts. The Head of Household room was designed based on a prompt to "create a refreshing retreat" while the bedrooms were designed with prompts for "a sci-fi rocky planet setting," "a fantasy fairy garden" and a "futuristic bedroom for the year 2500."

Big Brother features a group of people who are sequestered inside the famed Big Brother House for months on end, competing against each other for prizes, cash and even food. A Head of Household is determined each week, and part of their duty is to select which houseguests will be up for eviction. However, the Golden Power of Veto can save one of the houseguests from being on the block.

Celebrity Big Brother 2024 is here and fans were especially thrilled to see an old Dragon's Den star stepping into the iconic house.

With the series now underway we finally know who's taking part in the rebooted reality show, with some unexpected faces becoming housemates and creating quite the eclectic mix. 

Among them was Dragon's Den legend Levi Roots, who has since gone on to have a successful career following his pitch back in 2007, where he introduced the world to his Reggae Reggae Sauce brand.

His pitch is still regarded as one of the most memorable, as he did a presentation in front of the Dragons including a song, which managed to secure him £50,000 funding from Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh. His products are still going strong today, making him one of the most successful Dragon's Den stars.

In his introduction video, he described himself as a "normal rastaman from Brixton", admitting he doesn't have many celebrity friends. But despite his humble attitude, he's got the attention of fans on social media.

In fact, Levi's arrival into this year's Big Brother house sent fans on social media wild, with people calling him an "absolute legend" and "the perfect housemate", so he's made quite the impression already.

Many were flooding the Twitter hashtag on launch night, reacting to Levi's arrival and immediately pointing him out, and commenting on the fact he, unsurprisingly, was very keen to help out in the kitchen!

Levi is just one of the many celebrities hoping to win the public's favour and stay in the house. His fate is in their hands as the public will be voting for who they want to stay in the competition, which is a new twist since in previous series people were invited to choose who to evict instead.

Confirming the change on social media, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best said: "The last series of Big Brother you were voting to evict. This time, for Celebrity Big Brother you are voting for your favourite housemate.

They said this could well change the "dynamics" within the house, as all the celebrities are hoping to be crowned winner. But only one will emerge victorious!

Celebrity Big Brother airs six nights a week running from Sunday to Friday at 9 pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Celebrity Big Brother is back for 2024 with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best on board to oversee all the drama from inside the iconic house.

The news has been shared across the official social media accounts for the reality series, with the Big Brother team writing: 'The Big Brother House is ready to roll out the red carpet in 2024 ✨ #BBUK'.

In the post, it shows the ITV1 logo alongside the Big Brother one, confirming that the celebrity spin-off will be airing on the same channel as Big Brother 2023. 

Reportedly, the new series will kick off on Monday, March 5 on ITV1 and ITVX, and it is understood that it will air for three weeks, with episodes between Sunday and Friday. 

Right now, it has not been confirmed who is taking part in the new series but they will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous winners such as comedian Jack Dee, Take That's Mark Owen, and Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.

Famously, Chantelle Houghton remains the only non-celebrity to win the series, having appeared in the house as a mole during the 2006 series, where she was tasked with convincing the others that she was in a pop group in order to stay in the game.

In a statement, the Big Brother team has teased: "Celebrity Big Brother will see a new cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the iconic Big Brother house.

"Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move. Who will win the hearts of the nation, go all the way to the finish line, and be crowned the winner?"

Last year, it was lawyer Jordan Sangha from Scunthorpe who was crowned the winner of the rebooted Big Brother, having impressed the public.

AJ and Will revealed that nearly six million public votes had been cast to decide the winner, so people were keen to see their favourite win. 

At the time, Jordan said: "I haven't the foggiest idea [why they voted for me], but I'm delighted they did. The money will be nice, won't it?"

Celebrity Big Brother returns to ITV1 and ITVX soon.

Big Brother is getting into the holiday spirit, as Big Brother Reindeer Games is a brand new special that debuted on CBS on Monday, December 11, and continues through December 21. This special US Christmas TV highlight is set to bring back fan-favorite contestants as they compete for $100,000 in what CBS is billing as the "ultimate holiday showdown."

Each episode of Big Brother Reindeer Games features three competitions, all of which culminates with "Santa's Showdown," which determines the player that goes home at the end of each episode. At the end of the six episodes, only one Houseguest will be the one taking home a Christmas gift of $100,000.

All Big Brother Reindeer Games episodes are airing on CBS, which means if you have a traditional pay-TV provider or a TV antenna to receive local station signals then you can watch each episode live. It's a time-honored tradition for Big Brother houseguests to appear in an episode of The Bold and the Beautiful after the season ends. It's no surprise, then, that Big Brother season 25 contestants will be showing up in a future episode of the long-running soap. 

Runner-up Matt Klotz and fifth-place finisher Cirie Fields are heading to the soap now that BB25 has wrapped for the season. Klotz came in second place after a 5-2 vote that led to Jag Bains pulling off a big win at the end of the months-long reality competition. Fields is a reality television legend, having competed in four seasons of Survivor and took home the top prize in the first season of The Traitors US on Peacock. 

Entertainment Weekly reports that Klotz will play a character named James who works with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), Luna (Lisa Yamada) and Zende (Delon de Metz) at Forrester Creations. Fields will be playing Dr. Martin, a colleague of Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones). 

Klotz and Fields were filming at the studio on November 14. Their episode of The Bold and the Beautiful airs December 20. 

The tradition of Big Brother houseguests guest starring on The Bold and the Beautiful dates all the way back to season 5, when that season's winner, Drew Daniel, appeared on the soap as a reporter at a press conference named, conveniently enough, Drew. Over 30 houseguests have made similar appearances over the years, but Big Brother legend Rachel Reilly has taken things to the next level. Reilly has been a guest star on the soap 29 times.

While there's never a lack of drama on the beloved soap, this is an exciting time on The Bold and the Beautiful as longstanding relationships are in flux, new relationships are blooming and Forrester patriarch, Eric (John McCook) faces a heath crisis that has given him only a few months to live. Only time will tell how Klotz and Fields' characters fit into the larger story at play.

Following the success of Big Brother UK 2023 on ITVX and ITV2, a new set of celebs moved into the Big Brother house for a fresh version of the spin-off.

As before, our new set of celebrities left their glitzy homes behind and were locked inside the house (which was given a bit of a facelift ahead of their arrival). Inside, they stayed under the watchful eye of Big Brother and took part in all the usual Big Brother staples like challenges and nominations...

Who won Celebrity Big Brother 2024? 

Reality TV personality David Potts was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2024, beating Fern Britton, Nikita Kuzmin, Louis Walsh and Colson Smith.

During dinner in the final show, Potts thanked the other finalists for 'letting me be me' during his time in the house, adding: "I genuinely did not think I would be in a house with 12 people who I actually genuinely really, really liked".

David Potts

David Potts is a reality star best known for being a head rep on the ITV2 series, Ibiza Weekender and its successor, Kavos Weekender.

He's also appeared in a variety of other celebrity shows, including Celebs Go Dating, Celebs on the Farm, Celebrity Karaoke Club and Celebrity Ghost Trip.

Bradley Riches

Bradley Riches is known for playing James McEwan in the Netflix YA romantic drama, Heartstopper. He was a small presence in the first chapter, but Heartstopper season 2 saw him become a bigger part of the show, and he's picked up a huge social media following since.

Zeze Mills

Presenter and social media star Zeze Millz has interviewed all kinds of huge stars on her show over the years, including Akon, N-Dubz, Wiley and Big Narstie and has appeared on a number of mainstream TV series, too.

Marisha Wallace

Marisha Wallace is a Broadway legend in the US. Top music manager and former X Factor judge Louis Walsh was the second star revealed for Celebrity Big Brother 2024. In his intro, he said his mouth has gotten him into trouble before, and hinted it would get him into trouble again.

Lauren Simon

Lauren Simon made her name as part of the line-up for The Real Housewives of Cheshire. She was one of the original stars of the show and is also a business owner. She's also taken part in Celebrity First Dates.

Gary Goldsmith 

Gary Goldsmith is a successful businessman and the uncle to Catherine, Princess of Wales, He said he was 'an absolute nightmare to live with' when he was first revealed for the show. He ended up being the first person evicted from the house.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu 

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was one of the stand-out stars of Love Island 2022, thanks to her romance with co-star Davide Sanclimenti (though the pair have since parted ways). She also recently appeared on The Traitors US season 2.

Levi Roots 

Businessman and Dragon's Den success story Levi Roots was snapped up for Celebrity Big Brother 2024. Roots is also a successful musician and celebrity chef, and he's got a past Big Brother connection, as he had previously appeared on the series (but not as a contestant).

Sharon Osbourne 

Sharon Osbourne completed the lineup as the first-ever 'celebrity lodger'. Ahead of the show's debut, it was widely reported she'd only be a temporary addition to the house, and she has already left the building.

Who hosted Celebrity Big Brother 2024?

Big Brother 2023 hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best returned to host the celebrity spin-off.

When the pair were confirmed as the new Big Brother hosts ahead of the show's return in 2023, AJ Odudu said: "I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier. Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour - and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

Will Best added: "I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear."

Ahead of the show's launch, we got to see Aj and Will's reactions to the line-up, and it's safe to say they were pretty excited with who the Big Brother team had booked!

ITV released the first promo for Celebrity Big Brother 2024 online on February 15.

In it, various people use all kinds of objects — an umbrella, shopping bags, a blanket, a restaurant napkin and even a dog! — to disguise themselves to avoid being snapped by the paparazzi. At the end, our hosts for the series pop up warning that there's one place none of them can hide from prying eyes: The Big Brother house!

ITV released a ton of snaps from inside the Celebrity Big Brother 2024 house ahead of the show's debut, as the house has had a bit of a facelift ahead of the new intake. Check out a few of them below:

Who won the last Celebrity Big Brother?

The last series of Celebrity Big Brother aired on Channel 5 back in 2018 and saw former Coronation Street star (and Dancing on Ice 2024 competitor) Ryan Thomas crowned as the winner.

The runner-up was US actress Kirstie Alley, whilst The Only Way is Essex castmate Dan Osborne came in third.

Big Brother 2023 sees a new batch of housemates joining the highly-anticipated reboot of the "ultimate social experiment."

Sixteen housemates arrived at the brand new Big Brother house in front of a live studio audience as they prepared to compete for a £100,000 cash prize. 

Each housemate arrived by car as they were introduced to the nation and greeted by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, before they made their way into the house and met each other for the first time.

The iconic Big Brother house will play host to all the action — clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions will be back. The public will once again vote throughout the series and ultimately decide the winner of the life-changing cash prize.

Meet the Big Brother 2023 housemates

Jenkin

Jenkin is 25 years old and a barman, cleaner and bingo caller from a village just outside Bridgend in Wales.

He labels himself as "the best gay" in the village who "loves a bit of a goss" and added that he'd bring the drama to the Big Brother House.

Jenkin confessed that he applied to the show because he was "bored" and said his family would describe him as "loud and messy and irritating probably."

Farida

Farida, 50, is a makeup artist from Wolverhampton, who will still be practising her Muslim faith in the Big Brother House.

She lives with her husband and revealed that she loves embracing her age because "with age comes wisdom."

She said of joining the show: "I'm just going to embrace it. I believe in living for the moment and I want to remember that I’m one of thousands of applicants who made it inside the house."

Tom

Tom is 21 and a butcher from Limington in Somerset.

The third housemate admitted that he "might potentially offend some people" and added that: "My mouth moves faster than my brain."

Hallie

Hallie is an 18-year-old youth worker from London, making her the youngest Big Brother contestant.

"My mouth does get me into trouble sometimes because I have a habit of not thinking before speaking. People would say that I'm just a lovely person, but I can be a raging b***h on wheels at times," she said.

She added that she hopes she doesn't get treated like a baby by the other housemates due to her age.

Trish

Trish, 33, is a mum from Luton.

She is originally from Congo and moved to England when she was nine years old. Trish revealed the reason why she applied for the show was because she wanted to "humanise refugees and immigrants, especially in this political climate. I want people to see that behind the stats and figures, there are real humans."

Yinrun

Yinrun is 25 years old and a customer support agent from Harrogate, who is originally from Shanghai, China.

She said of taking part in the show: "I’m most excited about being surrounded by so many people from different walks of life. I don't think I will ever live in a house again with so many different kinds of people. I’m from China and I think it will help me be more immersed in British culture."

Jordan

25-year-old Jordan is a lawyer from Scunthorpe.

He admitted that he was "terribly nervous" about entering a house that might be full of "nutters" but revealed that he would rent a place in Kensington and have a shopping spree in Harrods if he won the prize money.

Zak

Zak is 28 and a model from Manchester, who was born in Thailand before moving to the UK when he was around nine or ten.

He said: "People might judge me because I’m a model. People often have a misconception but I'm a council estate boy. I'm not like a typical model, I'm a down to earth guy. People assume I’m arrogant but when they actually get to know me I’ve got a lot more to offer."

Chanelle

Chanelle, 29, is a dental therapist from Llanelli in Wales.

When asked for an interesting face about herself, Chanelle says: "I would probably say the fact that I have a first-class honors degree because I think often people will judge me by my blonde hair and are surprised. I’m quite book smart but I have no common sense so when I tell people I got first class honours, they're like, ‘Did you pay someone for that?’."

Dylan

Dylan is a 39-year-old DJ from Coventry.

"I always like meeting new people and having new hurdles to jump as an amputee. It's going to be an interesting journey to see if I can do whatever we’re asked without having any problems with staying on my leg for a certain amount of time and doing all the tasks. I’m excited for the challenge," he said.

Noky

Noky is 26 and a banker from Derby, who was also crowned Miss Universe, Great Britain in 2022.

She said of applying to the show: "I love challenges. I've had so many amazing times in my life, like going to Miss Universe as Miss Great Britain. I like to do something different and I think this is the next challenge I want to conquer. I want to show people what pageant girls are really like and disprove a lot of stereotypes around them. I also show what it's like being a woman who's worked in male-dominated fields. I want to show that women are capable of doing anything they want."

Matty

24-year-old Matty is a doctor from the Isle of Man.

Talking about how his friends and family would describe him: "They would say I'm quite a lucky person or someone who really wants to experience life to its fullest and do everything that it has to offer. Someone who is kind and fun and doesn't take life too seriously."

Paul

Paul is a security officer from Liverpool and is 23 years old.

He shares a close relationship with his grandad and said of applying to the show: "I just always watched it with my mum and everyone said I should apply, so I did and now I’m here."

Henry

Henry, 25, is a food writer from the Cotswolds and would love for there to be a matron in the house.

Speaking of what he's most looking forward to in the experience, he revealed: "I am actually really looking forward to learning lots of life skills, like learning how to cook, clean, or do the washing. I'm 25 but I'm not an adult. These are some big things they don't teach you at school that I need to learn. And also just getting to know loads of different people from very different backgrounds that I might not get to meet in my everyday life."

Olivia

Olivia is 23 and a dancer from Glasgow.

Her friends and family would describe her as: "Loud, confident, annoying. I'm the type of person who is up for anything. I'm the life and soul of the party. I’m that friend who people invite to things because at least I'll be fun. They know that they're guaranteed a good night if I'm there."

Kerry

Kerry, 40, is a NHS manager from Essex and said that multiple sclerosis is her superpower.

Talking about what made her apply to the show, she shared: "I love the programme. It is, for me, the ultimate reality TV show ever. I've got multiple sclerosis and so the reason why I never applied before is because I always saw those whacking great big stairs to get into the house. It just felt a little bit unachievable because for the first three years of my illness, I was in a wheelchair. When I saw it was coming back and searching for real people from all walks of life, I thought, this is my year."

Big Brother 2023 continues every day apart from Saturday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Hosts AJ, 35, and Will, 38, vow to make Big Brother 2023 one to remember… 

How are you feeling about hosting the revival of Big Brother? 

Will: "If you’d asked me 15 years ago, what’s the one show you’d like to present the most, it would be Big Brother. I was obsessed with it. Hosting alongside AJ, who is the funniest, loveliest person in the world, I know it's gonna be fun."

AJ: "When I got the call, I was wearing a dressing gown, slippers and had half an eyelash stuck on! I couldn't say anything to anyone but I was buzzing with excitement. Naturally I'm nervous, I've got butterflies but Will is slick, funny and very supportive. I can't wait!"

Have former hosts such as Emma Willis and Davina McCall given any advice? 

AJ: "I adore Davina, and Emma’s a good friend of mine. They’ve both sent messages of support, as have Brian Dowling, Alison Hammond, Adele Roberts and Dermot O'Leary. Their advice has been just ‘be yourself’. I don't feel I’m ‘stepping into anyone's shoes’. I don't want to be like Davina or Emma, I want to be AJ Odudu and step into my own shoes."

Why is Big Brother still such important television in 2023?

Will: "One of the enduring things about Big Brother has always been that it holds a mirror up to society and reflects back the reality of the country we live in. But it also projects forward. Look at Nadia Almada, a transwoman going on series five, back in 2004, and winning. That was huge! Bringing the show back in 2023 is going to reflect issues that are important now and the housemates will reflect the sensibilities of people in the UK now."

What can you tease about the new house? How will the revival compare to previous series? 

AJ: "A lot of it is all very top secret... even from us! It always feels like a different show every year because of the housemates; they make it interesting, riveting and so watchable. It’s a social experiment and we’ll remain true to that."

And we know legendary narrator Marcus Bentley is back for the nightly highlights show…

Will: "Even those who’ve never watched Big Brother would still know ‘that’ voice — and how Marcus says the time in his Geordie accent — it’s part of our culture. And as soon as you hear the first few bars of that iconic theme tune, memories of Big Brother come flooding back."

Finally, what sort of housemates do you think you’d be?

Will: "While it’s the sort of telly I love to watch, I think I'd be too nervous to go in there. I'd be too eager to please and would fall over myself trying to make sure everyone liked me. People would see straight through it, I'd be accused of being fake, and I'd be booted out!"

AJ: "Ha, ha! That's so funny because it's so true! I’d initially go in with a game plan but I'd have to change tack before people realised. I can’t be like Nasty Nick!"

Will: "No, you wouldn't sneak a pencil in to write down names for eviction like Nasty Nick did in the first series. Do you remember what a scandal that was!?"

AJ: "As hosts, we can just watch as the mayhem unfolds. It's gonna be magic."

Big Brother starts on Sunday October 8 on ITV1 and ITV2, continuing weeknights on ITV2 at 9pm.

Big Brother 2023 returns to ITV this autumn and the official release date has now been confirmed by the broadcaster.

After five years off the air, Big Brother is back on Sunday, October 8 at 9 pm, when fans will be reunited with the iconic reality TV series.

To celebrate the reboot, the launch show will air simultaneously on ITV1, ITV2, and ITVX in a "disruptive multi-channel and streaming takeover", so there'll be plenty of places to watch the newcomers enter their new home.

This launch show will give us our first proper look at the all-new Big Brother house and we will meet the contestants taking part in the new series.

In a press release, ITV confirmed: "Big Brother: The Launch will see a new cast of carefully selected housemates, from all walks of life, become the first people to take up residence in the brand-new Big Brother house as they arrive at the famous destination in front of a live studio audience. 

"Given its own contemporary new look ready for this reimagining of the show, the iconic Big Brother house will play host to all the action - clever tasks, nail-biting nominations, and live evictions will be back."

Once again, the series will be interactive as the audience plays a crucial role and will vote for who they want to stay in the competition, so housemates will be working to impress each other as well as those watching at home.

They added: "The public once again plays a crucial role, voting throughout the series and ultimately determining the winner, who will walk away with a life changing cash prize."

The broadcaster has also confirmed that the programme will be followed each night by a show called Big Brother: Late & Live.

They have revealed that this will "give viewers an additional hour of exclusive Big Brother content", and will feature the evictees' first live interviews, alongside "unmissable exclusive features".

This season, Big Brother will be hosted by Strictly Come Dancing finalist AJ Odudu and former Big Brother's Bit on the Side panelist Will Best, who'll be working to keep fans up to date with all the gossip from inside the house.

Big Brother will air nightly from Sunday, October 8 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX (apart from Saturdays).

The Big Brother 25 frontrunner has also become the house villain, and his sights were set on Reilly. 

The rivalry between geriatric physician Hisam Goueli, the reigning Head of Household in the Big Brother season 25 cast, and bartender Reilly Smedley came to a head on the Thursday, August 17, live eviction episode. Though Hisam nominated both Reilly and Cameron for eviction this week, a decision he doubled down on after winning the Scramble-themed veto comp, it was very clear who the doc's real target was. 

Hisam blamed Reilly's own HOH tenure as the reason for the divide in the house between the younger players, known as The Handful alliance, and his own Professors alliance, made up of older contestants like Cirie, Izzy and Felicia, reasoning that he condescendingly explained to Reilly earlier this week. 

"I can't believe it. I'm like literally in a feud with a 45-year-old man. What is going on?" Reilly exclaimed in a confessional. She later added of Hisam: "God he rubs me the wrong way. He really rubs me the wrong way."

And it's not only Reilly who isn't loving Hisam these days. His bluntness and cockiness in discussions with other houseguests, including members of his own alliance, had viewers thinking that maybe the rest of the BB25 crew would pull off a blindside and not go along with Hisam's master plan to evict Reilly. 

Cirie remembered that Reilly had made a promise to her back during her HOH reign that she would keep Cirie safe if she would reciprocate in the future. But Cirie didn't know if it was prudent to her long-term game to cross her alliance with Hisam and the rest of the Professors crew.

In the end, despite drumming up sympathy for Reilly throughout the house, the live eviction saw Smedley voted out unanimously from Big Brother. 

"I'm not sure why you put us on opposite sides," Hisam told her in his goodbye video, "but regardless, one, you are worthy, and two, you are pure gold."

Fans react to that Reilly Big Brother 25 eviction

Big Brother devotees also weren't taken by Hisam's hubris this week and were saddened by the loss of Reilly. "She got a raw deal," one viewer posted on Twitter. See other fan reactions to this week's eviction below:

As fans celebration Big Brother season 25, it's easier than ever to tune into the Big Brother live feeds for free on Pluto TV or through a subscription to Paramount Plus. With more eyes on the 24/7 live feeds, fans are expressing frustration that the weekly episodes of the show are "boring" compared to what happens throughout the day and night on the live feeds.

The Big Brother live feeds have been available to fans since the show's second season and was a major selling point when CBS All Access (now Paramount Plus) was in its infancy. With dozens of cameras throughout the house, fans can choose one of four camera views to watch, or a "quad view" with four cameras going at once, to see what the Houseguests are doing throughout the day and night. 

One of the challenges that CBS faces with Big Brother is condensing days and days of 24/7 live feeds into three hours of television. Technically, it's less than three hours because the Thursday episode is live (on the East Coast) and features the live eviction and competition for the new Head of Household. 

As dedicated fans are quick to point out, they can watch the live feeds and know what's happening days in advance:

CBS is using the same Big Brother formula that has been employed since the show's inception, with three weekly episodes. But maybe it's time for a change. Maybe the show needs to find a way to incorporate more content from the live feeds because, honestly, it's those late night conversations that are far more interesting than anything the show edits and puts together in a package. 

There's also the issue of trying to fit all of the Big Brother cast members into each episode, especially in the beginning when there are so many Houseguests to keep track of. 

After 25 seasons of the beloved reality show, it seems like Big Brother is due for an overhaul. Perhaps instead of trying to fit so much into three episodes, Big Brother should adopt the Love Island season 5 playbook. Love Island airs six episodes per week, allowing fans to get a better sense of what's going on without sacrificing so much action from the live feeds.

It's only the second week in the Big Brother season 25 house but there have been quite a few shakeups already. The newest Head of Household is sure to shake things up even more. 

After Thursday's live eviction that sent Houseguest Kirsten home, the Head of Household competition took place but didn't finish by the time the episode ended. Thanks to the Big Brother live feeds, it was revealed that geriatric doctor Hisam is the new Head of Household for week 2.

This is a big win for Hisam and his alliance, The Professors. The Professors are made up of Hisam, Cirie, Felicia, Izzy, Bowie, Mecole and Red. Hisam's personal mission on Big Brother, it seems, is to prove that older competitors can win the game and his alliance has their sights set on defeating the younger Houseguests who have banded together in an alliance called Family Style. The Family Style members include last week's HoH Reilly, Jag, Blue, Cameron, Matt, America, Cory and Jared. Of course, Jared is also working with Cirie because the Survivor legend is his mother.

Interestingly, Hisam's HoH win comes after he claimed the first Golden Power of Veto victory in week 1. At the time, Reilly was HoH and she made it clear to anyone who would listen that she viewed Hisam as a threat, prompting the good doctor to win the Veto to keep himself safe. Rather than pull someone off the nomination block (Felicia and Kirsten were nominees) and open someone else up to being backdoored, Hisam opted to not use the Veto. As a result, Kirsten was the first Houseguest sent home.

The results of the Head of Household competition will be revealed on Sunday's show, but if you're eager to see what's happening in the house then tune into the live feeds because you'll have a ring-side seat as Hisam talks to the other Houseguests about who he might nominate for eviction.

The first live eviction episode of Big Brother season 25 turned out to be even more dramatic than usual after one contestant was kicked out for violating the show's code of conduct.

Going into the Thursday, August 10, episode of the series, which aired on CBS and is available to stream on Paramount Plus, the two players up for elimination this week were Kirsten Elwin and Felicia Cannon, with the majority of the house planning to send the former packing. However, America was torn with the decision: "The house is pretty much decided that Kirsten is going home this week but I see that she really trusts me so I'm wondering if it's a bad idea to have her leave?" 

But the decision between Kirsten and Felicia wouldn't be the only houseguest departure this week. "What else does the BB Multiverse have in store for everyone tonight?" host Julie Chen Moonves announced at the top of the hour. It turns out that along with the voted eviction, there was another shocking exit from a Big Brother season 25 cast member. 

Late Tuesday night, during a conversation with Jared, Cory and Hisham, Luke Valentine was caught on the live feeds using a racial slur. "I was gonna say narwal," Luke tried to explain. Cory left the room out of discomfort and Jared, the sole Black male in the house, confronted Luke: "That should've made you feel uncomfortable real quick. Bro, what did you just say?"

"I don't know want to say. Anything I say or do can come across as wrong or aggressive," Jared said in a confessional. 

Shortly after, Luke got called into the downstairs diary room, and it was the last time we saw of him. Production then had Reilly read an announcement about what happened: "Due to violating the Big Brother code of conduct by using a racial slur, Luke has been removed from the house and will no longer be participating in the Big Brother game."

Despite that shocking event, it was also announced that the live vote and eviction would go on as scheduled. Way less surprising, in a vote of 13 to zero, Kirsten was sent packing from the Big Brother house. "I'm really surprised because I had pretty good relationships with a lot of other people in the house very early," she said upon her exit.

You already know Cirie Fields. Now meet Cirie, Big Brother season 25 star. 

The 53-year-old American nurse is already a reality show legend. She is widely considered one of the greatest Survivor players of all time, despite having never won the competition, appearing four times: Survivor: Panama in 2006, Survivor: Micronesia in 2008, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains in 2010 and Survivor: Game Changers in 2017. Her losing streak, however, ended when she fooled every single person in the castle on The Traitors US, winning the Peacock program earlier this year. 

Now Fields has joined the Big Brother season 25 cast, becoming the first Survivor alum to cross over into the CBS series. She's not only the surprise 17th housemate for the landmark 25th season but also the mother of another BB contestant: Jared, who had already been publicly announced as part of season 25. However, the 25-year-old exterminator revealed he'd wisely be keeping his identity on the down low so that the rest of the players don't realize he comes from reality TV royalty.

However, it winds up being a good thing having his mom in the house, because Jared finishes last during the first comp and is eventually nominated for eviction at the end of the season 25 premiere on Wednesday, August 2, alongside Cory Wurtenberger, Felicia Cannon and Kirsten Elwin. When host Julie Chen Moonves instructs the players to return to the house for one final twist, Cirie is surprisingly waiting in the kitchen to greet them with champagne. 

Julie didn't have time to formally announce to the housemates that Cirie would be joining them in this season's Big Brother competition, but she did relay the news to us viewers, many of whom were plenty excited to see the Survivor legend in the mix. 

Will Cirie benefit from all of that reality show experience and use it to her advantage to win that hefty cash prize of $750,000 after 100 days of gameplay? Will the rest of the Big Brother house eventually recognize Fields and use both her celebrity and her connection to Jared against her? Only time will tell.

It's time to meet the 16 houseguests who are joining Big Brother season 25. Since this is a milestone year for Big Brother we can only imagine that this group of houseguests will be faced with some of the biggest challenges and twists in the history of the series.

The enduring reality show Big Brother is back, with Big Brother season 25 set to be the longest season yet with a hundred days of drama and conflict.

How to watch Big Brother season 25 in the US

If you want to watch the new season of Big Brother on TV, you need to watch CBS, with the show premiering on Wednesday, August 2, at 8 pm ET/PT. Episodes air on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT, and with live episode Thursdays at 9 pm ET.

You may have CBS on your cable plan, but if not several live TV streaming services offer it including FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, DirecTV Stream and YouTube TV. 

Perhaps the best way to make the most of Big Brother season 25 is with streaming service Paramount Plus. After a long wait, fans finally know when Big Brother season 25 is arriving. The long-running reality show is set to premiere on August 2, almost a full month after its usual start time. That's leading many fans to wonder why Big Brother season 25 is starting late?

Traditionally, Big Brother premieres in early July. This has to do with the show’s format, as it requires about three solid months to go from a large cast of houseguests to the final two. It takes up a fair amount of primetime summer TV real estate, too, with three shows per week. The show's finale is usually in September, just before the fall TV season kicks off. After 25 seasons this has become a time-honored tradition, the handoff from summer programming to fall programming. 

However, this year's fall TV lineup faces some uncertainty as the writers' strike is likely to delay the start of new and returning shows. Some shows were in production when the strike began in early May while others were in development. At this point, most production has slowed to a standstill. Even if the strike was to be resolved soon, the fall TV season would very likely be delayed regardless. 

When CBS announced its 2023 fall TV lineup, all of the big shows fans expected to see were listed — Young Sheldon, Ghosts, NCIS, The Equalizer and more. Only one thing was missing: premiere dates. Thanks to the uncertainty of the writers' strike, scheduling is in a state of upheaval and that's part of the reason why the network pushed the premiere of Big Brother season 25 to a late start date. 

NBC and ABC created fall TV schedules that take the writers' strike into account. In ABC's case, all scripted TV series have been pushed to mid-season with game shows and reality competitions taking their place. 

CBS hopes to still have its full lineup of scripted series debut this fall, but there is no premiere date listed because there's no telling when they might debut.  

By starting Big Brother later in the summer, CBS has three hours of primetime programming filling up its weekly schedule that will likely carry the network through the end of October. The hope is likely that the new and returning shows will be ready to premiere at that point. 

This move isn't without precedent. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic pushed the Big Brother premiere to August, with the final episode airing only days before Halloween. This helped CBS balance the schedule as TV shows struggled to get back to work amid pandemic shutdowns.

Zing! The weather is getting warmer and that means it's time for the beloved CBS summer hit Big Brother. Big Brother season 25 will be getting a late start this year in an effort to shore up the network's schedule. 

The reality series kicks off in August this season instead of July, meaning that the finale will air in October rather than September. Each season of Big Brother features a theme. This year's theme hasn't been revealed yet, but as soon as more information becomes available we'll have it for you here. "

Big Brother features a group of people who are sequestered inside the famed Big Brother House for months on end, competing against each other for prizes, cash and even food. A Head of Household is determined each week, and part of their duty is to select which houseguests will be up for eviction. However, the Golden Power of Veto can save one of the houseguests from being on the block.

Fans of Big Brother are going to find themselves a bit disappointed as Big Brother season 25 has received a late-summer premiere date. The historic season won't hit the airwaves until Wednesday, August 2. 

To provide a little context, Big Brother season 24 kicked off on July 6, 2022, and season 23 debuted on July 7, 2021. While CBS hasn't announced an official reason as to why the new season has a delayed premiere, it would presumably have to do with ongoing writers' strike that continues to impact not only the scripted content on CBS for the fall 2023-2024 TV season, but also over on NBC, FOX and ABC as well.

Now if by chance you haven't seen Big Brother, the reality series showcases contestants living in the confines of one house competing in a number of challenges with the hopes of being the last one standing and winning a cash prize at the end of the season. Along the way, they'll find them playing mind games and making alliances to avoid being nominated for house evictions by other cast members, while also doing what they can to contain the most control in the house.

In addition to announcing Big Brother’s August release date, CBS also revealed premiere dates for other unscripted programming. On August 9, following a new episode of Big Brother, the new series Superfan debuts, which will feature contestants battling it out to prove they are a given musician's number one supporter. 

Also joining the CBS unscripted lineup this summer are Secret Celebrity Renovation season 3 and The Challenge: USA season 10, which premiere respectively on July 28 and August 10. The former series follows celebrities as they fund a home renovation project for someone they find deserving in their life, while the latter show features reality stars from throughout the CBS unscripted world (including Big Brother, Survivor and Amazing Race) as they go through grueling competitions to win a big monetary prize. 

All the aforementioned shows air live on CBS. Episodes then become available to stream on Paramount Plus. 

Have you ever wondered who the greatest reality TV star of all time is? Well, you soon may find out the answer to that in the new Amazon Freevee series The GOAT. 

The show follows popular reality TV stars from hit programs as they compete against one another in a number of mental, physical and social challenges all in an effort to win a monetary grand prize and bragging rights as the GOAT (that's greatest of all time). 

While the premise of the new series on its surface strikes similarities with those of other celebrity competition shows, The GOAT doesn't appear to require as much manipulation among the cast as with shows like Celebrity Big Brother or require the physical demands of challenges like those found in Special Forces: World's Toughest Test. Although, as more information about the series comes to light, specific details of what is involved with The GOAT could change. 

Now in terms of the cast, producers called upon contestants from across the reality TV world. For example, one-half of Love Is Blind's favorite couple, Lauren Speed-Hamilton, is ready to go for victory in The GOAT's inaugural season. Her stardom continues to shine since finding love on the Netflix dating series. 

Vanderpump Rules' former residential pot stirrer Kristen Doute is also on hand to compete in The GOAT. Despite being forced to exit the Bravo series in 2020, her name has been brought up a lot as of late in light of the infamous "Scandavol" controversy on Vanderpump Rules; she's even slated to make an appearance on the current season of the show.

As of publication, a release date for The GOAT had not been announced. Amazon announced that the series started production sometime in April in Atlanta.

Big Brother 2023 has now come to an end, and a new Big Brother winner has been crowned for the first time in five years!

TV first teased that they would be bringing Big Brother back during the final of Love Island 2022. Across six weeks, we got to keep a close eye on a brand new set of housemates as they took in daily life in the Big Brother house.

The series kept us entertained with all sorts of challenges and twists throughout the autumn, but a winner has been crowned. Which of our final five managed to bag that life-changing £100,000 cash prize?

Who won Big Brother 2023? 

Lawyer Jordan Sangha from Scunthorpe was crowned out Big Brother 2023 winner in the live final on November 17.

AJ and Will announced the news during the special episode, revealing that nearly six million public votes had been cast to decide the winner. 

"I haven't the foggiest idea [why they voted for me, but I'm delighted they did", said Jordan. "The money will be nice, won't it?"

Big Brother 2023 hosts

On Tuesday, April 25, ITV revealed who would be hosting Big Brother 2023. This time, our hosts are TV presenter and Strictly 2021 star AJ Odudu and her close friend and Dance, Dance, Dance presenter, Will Best.

The pair are splitting hosting duties on the main show, chatting to housemates about all the latest goings-on in the Big Brother house and presiding over the live evictions. The pair are hosting an additional nightly live show (Big Brother: Late & Live), where they'll discuss all the latest goings-on inside the building. 

Of her role, AJ said: "I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier. Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour - and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

Will added: "I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear.”

Recently the pair shared their favorite moments from Big Brother history. Will said:  “David’s Dead”. It had it all. It was hilarious, dramatic, tragic, poignant…all in one rollercoaster reality TV episode.

AJ, meanwhile, added: AJ Odudu: My favourite moment of all time is the legendary housemate Nikki Grahame’s iconic outbursts; God rest her soul. She gave us unforgettable diary room moments like ‘Who is she?’ and ‘the mountain of cornflakes’. It doesn’t get more iconic than that."

Marcus Bentley (the original voice of Big Brother UK) also confirmed that he'd be returning as the series' narrator.

Who won the previous series of Big Brother?

Big Brother season 19 was won by 19-year-old Cameron Cole from Norwich. 

Cole scooped the £100,000 cash prize after beating Akeem Griffiths in the final, becoming the show's youngest-ever winner (to date) in the process.

ITV has confirmed which two stars will be at the helm when Big Brother returns to our screens in 2023. 

Big Brother's return was first teased during the final episode of Love Island 2022, and ITV has now revealed that TV presenters, close friends, and Big Brother superfans AJ Odudu and Will Best will be hosting the series.

AJ and Will are splitting the hosting role on the main series, meaning they'll be presiding over the weekly housemate evictions and chatting to housemates to get all the latest gossip from the Big Brother house. 

And if that's not exciting enough, ITV also confirmed in the same announcement that the duo would be fronting an additional nightly live show where they'll be debating all the hottest topics from inside the house. 

Of her new role, AJ Odudu said: "I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier. Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour - and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake."

AJ Odudu recently co-hosted the revival of Channel 4's Saturday morning series, The Big Breakfast, with comedian Mo Gilligan. You've also seen her in Strictly 2021 as part of the Comic Relief 2023 presenting team (alongside the likes of David Tennant and Zoe Ball), plus she's known to ITV viewers as the backstage presenter for The Voice and The Voice Kids spin-off, and she's next due to appear as part of the Eurovision 2023 presenting family, too.

Will Best is no stranger to presenting himself. He was a regular panelist on Big Brother's Bit on the Side at Channel 5 and he co-hosted Dance, Dance, Dance with Britain's Got Talent 2023 judge Alesha Dixon for ITV. 

A start date for Big Brother 2023 has not been confirmed at the time of writing, though we do know that the series will be returning to our screens for a six-week stint on ITV2 and ITVX at some point this year. 

Scared of the Dark has kicked off on Channel 4 and fans everywhere are already comparing it to the iconic reality series Big Brother.

In the daring new series hosted by ex EastEnders legend Danny Dyer, eight brave celebrities enter a special, monitored complex where they'll attempt to live in total darkness for seven days.

During this time, they'll take on challenges in the hopes of receiving rewards for the group, but if they fail then things are about to get a whole lot worse... somehow!

With Scared of the Dark bringing together celebrities from all walks of life including sports, comedy, and reality, there's a real amalgamation of personalities going on. This inevitably results in some clashes and disagreements.

Former boxer Chris Eubank was particularly unimpressed by some of his new housemates, where he told them off for swearing so much, which already created tension just minutes into the series where terrified celebrities found it hard to stop swearing at their predicament.

In addition to this, we saw Love Island star Chloe Burrows freaking out on day one in a diary room style set up, explaining she didn't realize just how intense spending so much time in total darkness would be.

Given the format and the drama, it's not surprising that fans have been comparing Scared of the Dark to Big Brother, which is set to return on ITV.

The first episode of Scared of the Dark introduced us to the eclectic mix of contestants, as we saw Nicola Adams, Chris Eubank,  Paul Gascoigne, Chloe Burrows, Max George, Chris McCausland, and Donna Preston all arriving at the complex.

They had a few seconds to try and grab essentials like slippers and socks from a dark room while being attacked by obstacles, with some celebrities performing much better than others, meaning their stay would be more comfortable — in theory!

Meanwhile, eighth contestant Scarlett Moffatt came in much later where she was given infrared goggles and an earpiece with the challenge to stay completely unnoticed and live among her fellow celebrities.

Scared of the Dark runs until Thursday, April 20th on Channel 4 with episodes airing at 9 pm each evening. Episodes are also available via All4.

ITV has announced that applications for Big Brother 2023 are officially open.

According to an ITV press release, the Big Brother team is looking for "the nation's most interesting, funny and entertaining characters who come from every corner of the country" for their revived series. 

The page goes on to explain exactly what prospective housemates will have to look forward to if they manage to join the show. "The final cast of housemates will live under the watchful eye of Big Brother, and the nation, for up to six weeks with cameras capturing their every move.

"Over the course of the show, they'll face a series of clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions, with the public once again playing a crucial role, voting throughout the series and ultimately determining the winner."

The new series of Big Brother 2023 was first teased during the Love Island 2022 final earlier this year. The UK edition of Big Brother began in 2000 and ran for a total of 11 series (plus 7 celebrity editions) on Channel 4, before making the jump to Channel 5 for an additional 8 seasons and 15 celebrity versions on Channel 5. In 2018, the series went on hiatus, meaning that the ITV revival will be the first new entry in nearly five years. 

Although the show is heading to a brand new home, it sounds like Big Brother 2023 will be exactly what fans of the previous versions are looking for.

Once again, the contestants will be taking up residence in the iconic Big Brother house, which is being updated for a fresh new look for 2023. There, the cameras will be watching their every move as the housemates take part in a variety of tasks and experience the tension of nominations and live evictions from the house.

As the episode begins, the houseguests are all given a ticket, which is the thing that ultimately separates them into various groups. Each group then hosts a mini-game amongst themselves to determine which of them will compete for a chance to become season 24’s first HOH. It turns out the three contestants that come out of their groups victorious are Monte, Turner and Daniel. After the three of them race against one another to put together a drum kit puzzle, Daniel is crowned the week’s HOH. 

Now while being HOH gives a player a great amount of power in the house, apparently so does holding the "Backstage Boss" ticket, which Pooch pulled upon entering the home. Not only was he able to skip the challenges for the day, but he also is exempt from voting at the eviction ceremony and is safe from being nominated. However, Julie informs him that the catch with this amazing "Backstage Boss" ticket is that he must select three competitors to join him backstage. These players can’t vote in the eviction ceremony, can’t play in the competitions, yet can still be sent home come next Thursday. Talk about a curve ball. 

Pooch pulls backstage with him Paloma, Alyssa and Brittany. Thankfully for these ladies, Julie informs America that they can vote to save one of the women when the time comes. 

Episode 2
With Daniel as the first HOH and Pooch, Alyssa, Paloma and Brittany placed in an interesting position after the "Backstage Boss" plot twist, the players begin plotting about what strategies and alliances they can use to help them make it until the end. 

For example, attorney by profession Michael and hypnotherapist by profession Brittany opt to lie about what they do for a living to make themselves seem like less of a threat in the competition. Terrance and Nicole start to bond as the oldest members in the house, but later Nicole forms a bonafide "Rogue Rats" alliance with Daniel. Alyssa and Paloma form their own final two alliance after having a few conversations. 

Paloma also manages to gather together most of the women to form an alliance. However, one woman that prefers to hang out with the guys instead is Taylor. Taylor’s strategy to align herself with the guys puts a target on her back as far as Paloma is concerned, and she starts to initiate a campaign to get Taylor out of the house. She even causes Daniel to take a look at Taylor as a nominee for eviction. 

However, in the end, Daniel opts to nominate Terrance and Michael to go home. With the nominees selected, we anticipate some heavy manipulative schemes to occur before next Thursday. By the way, read how fans are already casting Paloma as the season’s villain.

Episode 3
With the nominations announced, players start plotting about what to do next. Michael goes to Daniel in an attempt to figure out why he was nominated, to which Daniel pretty much conveys that it was nothing personal. Michael then makes his rounds with other players in the house to see if one of them would be willing to play in the Veto games should he be given a "Player’s Choice" option, but none of the other contestants take the bait. 

In the Veto competition, Indy, Turner, Daniel, Michael, Ameerah and Terrance go head to head in a Medieval-inspired game where they ride a mechanical horse and try to collect rings. In the end, Michael comes out victorious, which means he effectively saved himself from elimination. 

Over with Taylor. For some reason, the women, mainly Paloma, seem to have it out for her. So far Paloma hasn’t been the nicest to Taylor, so it's easy to understand why Taylor was hesitant to jump on board Paloma’s plan to unite the women of the house to split up the guys. When Taylor shared Paloma’s scheme about the guys with Monte, he ran and told Paloma, who used this as an opportunity to rally the house against Taylor. Paloma effectively painted Taylor as a "liar" and a "snake" of some sort, and the former’s manipulative tactics work. 

After Michael removes himself as a nominee for eviction, Daniel replaces him with Taylor. 

Episode 4
Having been officially nominated, Taylor is shocked to hear that Daniel’s justification for his move is because she’s been "rubbing people the wrong way." With that being news to her, Taylor goes around the house to see who may have negative feelings about her. She eventually is able to gather that Monte told Paloma about the conversation she had with him, and now Paloma was spreading rumors that Taylor couldn’t be trusted. Although Taylor attempts to clear the air with Paloma, Paloma is a brick wall and the two continue to stay at odds. 

Later in the house, it appears that Paloma is not holding up well. She’s not been eating or sleeping, and the other competitors are legitimately worried about her health. Shortly thereafter, the housemates get a note that Paloma has left the house for personal reasons. 

Just like that, after all the controversy Paloma has stirred in the house, she’s the first one to actually leave. Both Taylor and Terrance escape eviction.

Episode 5
The episode pretty much kicks off with the HOH competition. Ameerah, Jasmine, Kyle, Michael, Monte, Taylor and Joseph face off in a game where they must answer a series of true or false questions about the Big Brother hotel. The only catch is that they must use their faces to dig through pies in order to find a "T" or "F" to respond to each question. Competitors are eliminated for wrong answers, or in some cases, for taking too long to answer a question. In the end, it’s Jasmine who comes out victorious. With an HOH selected, let the weekly scheming begin. 

Even with Paloma out of the house, it appears that Taylor still has a target on her back. Pooch attempts to convince some competitors, specifically Jasmine, of a plan he has. He wants to go on the nomination block as a pawn with Brittany in an effort to backdoor Taylor. By backdooring her, she wouldn’t be able to save herself via a veto. 

After listening to Pooch’s plan, Jasmine seemingly agrees with it. However, she also appears to agree to a later proposed plan to put Taylor up as a pawn, and then backdoor someone else to replace her. Now obviously, the plans are conflicting ones. So what does Jasmine do in the end? She nominates both Pooch and Taylor for eviction and decides to let the cards fall how they fall. 

Episode 6
In some great news for Taylor, going into the Veto competition, it appears that she for once is not the main target of the house. As HOH, Jasmine informs most of the house guests that are competing in the competition that her goal is to actually get Pooch out of the house. Even with that news, Taylor is still determined to win the Veto to remove herself, because she doesn’t trust the ladies in the house and their intentions. 

As the Veto challenge begins, the contestants have to shoot three volleyballs into a hole with only their head and face as their legs are bound by a mermaid costume and they aren’t allowed to use their arms and hands. Despite Taylor’s determination, she loses the power of the veto to Michael. Michael wins for the second straight week in a row. 

Michael then floats the idea to Jasmine that perhaps they should remove Taylor from the chopping block and replace her with Joseph in an attempt to get one of the “stronger” competitors out of the house (either him or Pooch). Although Jasmine and other players seem intrigued by the idea, in the end, the nominations remain the same. Taylor and Pooch still face eviction. 

Episode 7/8
While Pooch is seemingly oblivious to the fact that he’s in danger of going home, Joseph tries to voice his concern for Pooch to Monte. Unfortunately for Monte, he places himself in an awkward position with his alliance with the women, mainly Nicole, by trying to convince the ladies to actually vote Taylor out of the house instead of Pooch. Nicole doesn’t appear to take kindly to feeling as if she’s being played, so this move may come back to bite Monte later. 

Anyway, at the live eviction, Pooch is eliminated from the competition having received a vote of 12–0  (ouch). Perhaps he should have listened to Joseph. 

Before the new HOH competition kicks off, Julie announces that the game will be played in pairs. If one person in the pair wins HOH, they both win. If one person is nominated for eviction, they both are nominated. If one person is saved by a veto, they are both saved. Now the pairing is determined by the day’s HOH competition, which is reminiscent of musical chairs. The duos are as follows: Monte and Joseph, Nicole and Taylor, Kyle and Daniel, Indy and Alyssa, Ameerah and Terrance, Michael and Brittany and Turner and Jasmine. 

After some conversations, the new HOH twosome of Turner and Jasmine decides to nominate the pairing of Michael and Brittany for elimination. 

Episode 9
Honestly, the level of disgust some of these housemates have for Taylor is weird, annoying and bordering chaotic. Her own partner Nicole is ready to throw a veto competition in order to backdoor Taylor to a nomination to get her out of the house. Nicole is convinced Taylor is not a good person and so is Daniel, but keep in mind, so far there has been no footage that explains why they feel this way. 

So while Daniel and Nicole work on a plan to get Taylor out of the house, Joseph, Kyle, Monte and Turner devise a plan of their own to start picking off the girls and their alliance. Given Taylor is clearly not a part of the girl alliance, they set their sights on winning the veto to backdoor Ameerah as a nominee and vote her out. This guy alliance, named the Pound, has a plan and is ready to execute it. But then Michael and Brittany win the power of veto. 

In the wake of this, another alliance emerges. After Daniel inexplicably blows up on Taylor for an alleged act of passive aggression on her part toward Nicole, Joseph gets fed up, as he’s tired of the way Taylor has been treated. He recruits Michael and Brittany and Monte pulls in Taylor, and the Leftovers alliance takes shape. Taylor may finally get the support she needs to have a fighting chance in the competition. 

Episode 10
Oh what a difference a day makes. Taylor is finally getting some justice. With Michael and Brittany removing themselves from the chopping block for eviction, the two are replaced with Ameerah and Terrance, which shocks Ameerah. She only finds herself more shocked when it’s announced that with a 7-4 vote, she’s the one being evicted from the house. 

With her out of the house, Julie tells Terrance he can join one of the twosomes and become a threesome, and he hops on the team with Monte and Joseph. As the episode nears a close, the HOH competition looks as if it’s going to get on its way, but then the episode ends. Not having an HOH going into the next episode is actually angering fans. They’ll have to wait a few short days to see what happens. 

Episode 11
As the HOH competition continues, with the players searching for find red invitations in a slew of envelopes and then later sliding goblets across tables in an effort to score the highest points, for a while it looks as if Nicole is going to be the new HOH. For her, that would be an amazing feat as she is anxious to exact revenge for Ameerah being evicted from the house. Unfortunately for her, at the eleventh hour, it’s Monte who claims victory. 

With plans to exact revenge dashed, Nicole, Alyssa, Indy and Jasmine turn their attention to the blame game. On par with the unfortunate theme of this season, they blame Taylor. At this point, we wonder if these competitors care how they are going to be perceived once they exit the house. 

Anyway, the Leftovers have to come up with a plan for nominations. The idea of getting Nicole out of the house is discussed, but Monte as the HOH doesn’t want Taylor to be used as a pawn again (remember Taylor and Nicole are Festies Besties). So instead, he nominates Indy and Alyssa, although depending on how the Veto competition goes, he’s open to backdooring Nicole if need be. 

Episode 12
In the latest episode of Big Brother, while The Leftovers try to figure out how they can get Nicole out of the house, the main obstacle appears to be Daniel. Having a final two alliance with Nicole and saying she is the only player he can trust, Daniel says that his main goal is winning the POV competition so he can protect his ally. And he does, but from there he makes what some are calling the "dumbest moves in Big Brother history."

Episode 13
This eviction episode picks right where the previous one did, with Daniel using his power of veto that results in his ally Nicole getting put up for eviction against Taylor. While this is the matchup that Nicole and Daniel wanted to try and get Taylor out, the rest of the housemates have been eager to send Nicole packing. That's just what hey did as Nicole is evicted in a 9-to-1 vote, with Daniel being her only support. Read more about the latest Big Brother eviction right here.

Episode 14
Now that his BFF Nicole is out of the house, Daniel goes into a bit of a meltdown. First, he shames Alyssa for voting to evict Nicole. He then informs Monte in front of everyone that the recently former HOH is going to win the season, perhaps in an attempt to put a target on Monte’s back. Outside of being the Daniel show, the episode is also the Jasmine show. 

The house has found itself very annoyed by Jasmine, especially in light of Muffin Gate, in which she goes around to her castmates in search of the person who ate the other half of her muffin. 

When it’s time for this week’s HOH competition, Daniel tries his hardest to beat out his competitors. However, it’s Michael who winds up being crowned the new HOH. In a shocking nomination, he nominates Terrance, Joseph and Monte for eviction.

Episode 15
Daniel continues to make his rounds in an attempt to rally enough people to join him in his quest to get Monte out of the house while saving his own hide. He first approaches Terrance, who surprisingly is on board with getting rid of his Festie Bestie. Daniel then approaches Jasmine, Alyssa and Indy, and they too are on board with getting Monte out of the house, perceiving him as a threat. 

Before any moves are made, this newly formed alliance must await the results of the Veto competition. Winning for yet another time, Michael claims victory and the power of the Veto. 

Jasmine, Alyssa, Indy, Daniel and Terrance each then go to Michael and pitch that he should try to get Monte out of the house. Unfortunately for them, their pitch is too similar, and Michael senses something is not quite right. In the end, he winds up changing nominations for the week and puts up Daniel and Kyle for eviction with the goal of getting Daniel out of the house. We wonder how Monte and Joseph will feel when they hear what Terrance tried to do. We have a feeling he may be next on the chopping block. 

Episode 16
Getting the expected news out of the way first, Daniel is not happy about being nominated for eviction. In fact, he spends his remaining time in the house throwing insults, calling the other players weak and inflating his own importance in the competition. When it comes time for the eviction votes, he’s sent packing by everyone in the house with the exception of Terrance. 

As the next HOH competition precedes, Julie drops some bombshell news. The house will be split into two sides, with neither side interacting with the other, and a double eviction is coming. Talk about another game twist. 

Episode 17
Perhaps one of the most exciting comebacks occurs in this episode of Big Brother. The one-time house pariah Taylor becomes the new HOH. While she is wielding quite a bit of power this week and seems to be committed to her Leftover Alliance, she points out that she has no intentions of nominating Jasmine. 

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that Joseph and Kyle may become targets soon in the house as Michael and Brittany are realizing that the two may not be doing their fair share when it comes to helping out the Leftovers Alliance. However, for now, Taylor nominates Terrance and Indy for eviction. 

Episode 18
The most interesting thing in this episode happens in the veto competition. Sure, Terrance is determined to win the veto to save his own hide, but right before the players compete in the competition, it’s announced that eliminated players in the game receive either a punishment or a prize. 

As the veto challenge kicks off, Taylor finds herself getting eliminated. However, fortunately for her, she doesn’t receive a punishment but a prize trip to London. Obviously, the other competitors want that trip, which someone could theoretically take, but Taylor openly makes it known that she’s still the HOH. As such, if the winner of the veto decides to use it, she still has the power to nominate someone else. Unfortunately for Taylor, Alyssa disregards that message and takes Taylor’s trip, rubbing Taylor the wrong way. 

Viewers have to wait and see if the veto is used and if Taylor has to replace her initial nominations with someone like Alyssa. By the way, check out how fans feel about a possible replacement nominee on Big Brother. 

Episode 19
Despite some conversations among the other contestants about Kye possibly using the power of the veto, he ultimately keeps the nominations as they are, rescuing his showmance beau Alyssa. This move doesn’t exactly go over well with the Leftover Alliance. (Kyle isn’t winning any fans in the house or online after insinuating that contestants of color will all form an alliance to win). 

At the elimination ceremony, Indy is voted out of the house 7-1. 

Shortly thereafter, Julie reveals the game-changing twist that the house will be split into two games with five contestants at Dyre Festival (outside) and five at Brochella (inside). Additionally, Terrance will be HOH for the former, while Michael will be HOH for the latter. The group assignment for the rest of the contestants is something that is to be decided next episode. 

Episode 20
New HOHs Michael and Terrance pick their squads. Joining Michael inside at Brochella are Jasmine, Brittany, Taylor and Monte. That leaves Turner, Alyssa, Joseph and Kyle to join Terrance outside at Dyre Festival. 

Right away, Terrance boldly tells both Turner and Alyssa that he has no plans of nominating them for elimination. That would seemingly mean he plans to nominate Joseph and Kyle. But then, Kyle tells Terrance about the Leftovers Alliance and that the alliance sought to get rid of the new HOH last week, and that changes Terrance’s mind. 

At the inside nomination ceremony, as HOH, Michael nominates Jasmine and Monte for elimination. (For now, Monte believes he’s a pawn.) Meanwhile, Terrance nominates Turner and Joseph. Considering what Terrance told Turner about him being safe this week, the next episode should be quite interesting leading up to the veto challenge. 

Episode 21
With the competition officially split into two groups, separate veto competitions are incredibly important this week, especially in the Dyre Festival camp where two members of the Leftovers Alliance are up for eviction. Oh, and we can’t forget that Jasmine in the Brochella group is not happy about being nominated for eviction on her birthday. 

As the separate veto competitions begin, Terrance shocks the Dyre Festival group (and viewers at home) by winning. With the Power of Veto, he decides to take Turner off of the chopping block and replace him with Kyle. What makes this slightly comical, is the fact that Kyle has been scheming ever since the house was split into two groups, and has been on a campaign to pick off the Leftovers Alliance. 

Over with Brochella, Brittany winds up winning the Power of Veto and decides to keep the nominations as they are, which again, bothers Jasmine. We’ll have to see if Jasmine has sealed her fate to be eliminated. Also, Joseph is a strong player, but will he be able to convince Terrance to vote Kyle out of Dyre Festival instead of him? 

Episode 22
Sadly for the Leftover Alliance, Joseph is sent home packing. He was unable to sway Terrance and persuade him that Kyle couldn’t be trusted. Additionally, in a shocking vote, even Turner voted to send Joseph home. Meanwhile, among the other group of houseguests, Jasmine is also evicted from Big Brother. 

As the two factions of the house reunite, the remaining members of the Leftover Alliance are disheartened to see that Joseph has been booted from the competition. It looks like Kyle may have a target on his back in future episodes for all of his plotting and scheming. 

Episode 23
As the house is reunited, the newly formed alliance of Terrance, Alyssa, Kyle and Turner (aka the Afterparty) immediately starts spinning their narrative as to why they voted Joseph out of the house. They attempted to paint him as "acting crazy." However, the Leftover Alliance from Brochella isn’t buying the lies and now sees the pending HOH competition as an extremely crucial one. 

The HOH competition for the week requires the houseguests to stack tiny cans using a big pair of tweezers. Unfortunately for the Leftovers Alliance, they suffer another blow to their game as Turner wins and becomes the new HOH. When it boils down to it, Turner nominates both Brittany and Taylor for eviction. 

Is it possible that Brittany’s game bestie Michael will win another Veto challenge and save her? Or will Taylor win it for herself and again escape elimination? We’ll just have to wait and see. 

Episode 24
While we aren’t sure why, Kyle decides to come clean to Monte, a fellow member of The Pound Alliance, about what happened at Dyre Festival. With Alyssa and Turner present, Kyle explains that he told Terrance all about The Leftovers Alliance. Monte was not happy to hear about the betrayal. 

Later on, after winning the veto for the week, Michael takes Brittany with him to have a conversation with Monte and Taylor about what else Kyle’s been saying. Kyle may have confessed to spilling the beans about The Leftovers Alliance, but he hasn’t been forthcoming about his accusations that the people of color in the house were forming an alliance. Once Michael and Brittany reveal what Kyle said, Monte and Taylor don’t appear shocked but are disappointed. 

As news of Kyle’s allegation makes it to Turner, he pretty much vows to want nothing to do with that kind of thinking expressed by Kyle. Viewers we’ll have to wait until the next episode to see if Kyle becomes the number one target to get out of the house. 

Episode 25
The tides definitely turned against Kyle. After his comments were revealed, Terrance and Monte, especially the latter, spent a lot of time during the episode explaining to Kyle why his comments were hurtful. Although Kyle listened and was perhaps even remorseful for his words, the house still voted to evict him. 

Now while Michael and Brittany are happy to have survived another week, they may enjoy the rest of the competition with a target on their backs. The other housemates were not pleased that the two withheld the information about Kyle and utilized it to save their own hides in the competition. 

Episode 26
As the competition dwindles down, the HOH challenges become more and more important. This week, the HOH challenge calls for the contestants to put together a puzzle that replicates the famous Zingbot from the show. Unsurprisingly, Michael again wins HOH for the week, annoying his housemates who see him as a huge threat. 

Unfortunately for them, his housemates are unable to do anything about trying to eliminate Michael this week. In fact, by the close of the episode, he nominates Alyssa and Terrance for eviction. 

Episode 27
With nominations set, Michael has a conversation with Alyssa and informs her that his target is actually Terrance. He then goes to speak with Terrance, and Terrance takes the opportunity to share that Michael being backdoored into nominations last week was really due to the power Turner had as HOH. Additionally, Terrance informs him that if he heads to the jury house, he’ll be happy to share with the rest of the panel that Michael and Brittany knew the hurtful remarks Kyle had made but sat on the information until it benefited them. That leaves Michael with something to think about. 

Then in a feat that should have been predictable at this point, Michael wins this week’s veto competition. He’s now set a record after winning his sixth veto. Despite all the sidebar conversations, Michael keeps the nominations the same. We’ll have to see who goes home on Thursday’s episode. 

Episode 28
In a two-eviction night, the first eviction went according to plan, Michael’s plan that is. Terrance is unanimously evicted from the house and understandably is not pleased about it. However, the real drama comes when cameras pan over to the jury house. 

In the jury house, Joseph is happy to see Kyle walk after being evicted last weekin as it means he’s no longer in the competition. Joseph’s spirit becomes less jovial when Kyle comes clean about why he got evicted. Joseph, Indy and Jasmine are appalled by Kyle’s outrageous comments about the players of color aligning in an alliance. They’re equally peeved with Michael and Brittany for utilizing Kyle’s ignorance to benefit their own game. 

Back in the main house, the next HOH competition takes place, with Turner winning. He’s quick to select Alyssa and Brittany as the new nominees for eviction, but then comes the veto competition. When Monte wins the veto, he shakes things up and replaces Alyssa with Michael as the other nominee. Michael tries to save himself in the house by throwing his Big Brother bestie Brittany under the bus, but in the end, he’s evicted. 

Episode 29
With perhaps the toughest competitor Michael out of the Big Brother house, the remaining five contestants are eager to compete to be the new HOH. They’re also trying to figure out which allegiances to stay true to as the competition winds down. 

After an HOH competition that separated the first and second-place finishers by nine seconds, Monte wound up beating Brittany for the win. As the new HOH and without hesitation, he nominates Brittany and Alyssa for eviction. Although he clearly wants to get Brittany out of the house, depending on what happens with the veto competition, he may be swayed to nominate a replacement nominee in Turner. We’ll have to see what happens next in Wednesday’s episode. 

Episode 30
If you’ve been paying attention to the Big Brother Live Feeds, then you know that Taylor and Monte have oddly struck up a showmance. The move is certainly a shocker for fans that have been watching the season, and it will be interesting to see how it will impact the game going forward. 

Anyway, it's time for the veto competition, and it’s a lot riding on the outcome as Brittany is desperate to save herself from the chopping block and Turner is desperate not to see himself go up as a replacement nominee. As both essentially go head to head for the veto (the other houseguests weren’t even close to winning), Brittany turns out to be victorious and removes herself from the nominations. 

Brittany is quick to inform Monte that if he doesn’t put Turner up as the replacement nominee, she’ll target him next week. That leaves Monte with a lot to think about, as he is fiercely loyal to Turner and he’s developed a showmance with Taylor. In the end, Monte nominates Taylor for eviction, trusting that she’ll be safe and Alyssa will be evicted. It will be interesting to see how that pans out during Thursday’s show.

Episode 31
When it comes time for eviction, Alyssa is kicked out of the house in a 2-1 vote with Monte being the deciding vote. In a twist, it turns out that the one vote for Taylor came courtesy of her "friend" in the house Brittany. However, Brittany is content with not owning her vote and pinning it all on Turner. That lie doesn’t seem to save Brittany from the chopping block this week though. 

Next up is the HOH competition, For the houseguests, winning this HOH competition is incredibly important as it guarantees the winner a spot in the finals. With such a high-stakes challenge on the line, all the players sans Monte are laser-focused. In a strike of irony for the woman who was portrayed as enemy number one from the start of the season, Taylor wins HOH and is headed into finale night. She nominates Brittany and Turner for eviction. 

Episode 32
This is the most important veto competition of the season, and the remaining houseguests know it, especially Brittany. Brittany is on very thin ice with the other contestants after voting for Taylor, lying about the vote and also for the move she and Michael pulled with Kyle. So she needs the win here. 

Unfortunately for Brittany, she narrowly misses out on the power of veto to Monte, who is certainly not a fan of hers. However, if there is one person that could save Brittany it's ironically Taylor. Taylor is convinced that if she and Monte take Brittany to the finals that the former two have a chance of winning the cash prize. Taylor is not confident about her odds against Turner. 

Episode 33
With Monte holding the cards in terms of who will be sent home, it seems like Brittany should just start packing at the beginning of the episode as he is adamant that she be the houseguest eliminated. Although she makes a pitch that his chances of winning the competition are better with her in the final three rather than Turner, in the end, Monte goes with his gut and evicts Brittany. The final three heading into the finale are Taylor, Turner and Monte. 

Over in the jury house, the biggest shocker of the night came courtesy of Alyssa. She reveals to Joseph that Monte and Taylor have been sleeping in the same bed lately, and Joseph doesn’t seem that welcoming of the news. We’ll have to see if the revelation impacts his voting in the finale. 

Episode 34
In the final HOH competition for the season, Monte is able to edge out both Turner and Taylor to win. Although he’s made packs with both Turner and Taylor, he opts to take the latter with him to the final two, effectively sending Turner home. 

As the episode continues and Monte and Taylor state their cases for why they should win season 24 of Big Brother, it's Taylor who is crowned the victor. Not only does she become the first Black woman to win the competition, but she’s also the first contestant to win and be selected as America's Favorite Player.  

Big Brother season 24 evictions

1. The first contestant to leave the season is Paloma Aguilar. She left the series for personal reasons, so she technically was not evicted, even though she is no longer on the show. 

2. Although he's not the first to leave, Joe "Pooch" Pucciarelli is the first contestant to be evicted from season 24. 

3. In a shock to her and everyone not aware of "The Leftovers" alliance, Ameerah Jones is sent home. 

4. Following Daniel's "dumb" move that put her up for eviction, Nicole was voted out of the Big Brother house in a landslide.

5. Indy is voted out of the house 7-1.  Things may have been different if Kyle had done what he was asked and used the power of veto. 

6. In a double eviction, both Jasmine Davis and Joseph Abdin are sent home.

As with every season of Big Brother, the premise of season 24 remains the same. Strangers move into the Big Brother house to compete in a series of challenges all in the hopes of being crowned the winner and taking home the cash prize. While in the house, nearly everything the contestants do will be seen by the cameras, including those moments when they hatch their predictable strategies and schemes.

Returning to her hosting duties is Julie Chen Moonves. The Daytime Emmy winner has become synonymous with Big Brother, with good reason. She’s hosted the competition series since its inception in 2000. We aren’t even sure what the show would look like without her front and center.

Thursday night's Big Brother double eviction finally gave BB diehards a two-hour episode that actually warranted the expanded runtime. We got not one but two evictions this week, much to the shock and sadness of the housemates, plus an entire week's worth of competition shoved into one hour of television. 

In hour one, the remaining Big Brother season 24 housemates are strategizing their way to the final two, with the women competitors (Brittany, Taylor and Alyssa) talking about putting together another girls' alliance and Terrance trying to start an alliance with the remaining POC players, Monte and Taylor. "I don't trust Terrance... I don't trust a damn thing he says," Taylor says.

Viewers also got their first peek into the jury house and see evicted housemates Jasmine, Joseph and, most controversially, Kyle join Indy in the mansion. After Joseph gives the girls the rundown of The Leftovers alliance and the Split House twist that took him out, Kyle details the "roughest week I had" and lets them know about his Cookout-style alliance theory, which included all three of the jury members. 

Not surprisingly, they're offended to hear the news. "I'm obviously extremely disappointed and frustrated," Joseph says, while an upset Indy needs to take a break from filming. "My heart is breaking to cause this much hurt to people that I care about... I think it's important that I own and carry my own burdens," Kyle says.

Back in the house, Brittany tells Turner about Alyssa's proposed new girls' alliance. He takes that information directly to Monte and suggests they buddy up with Michael to form a "gentlemen's agreement" between the three of them to take out the girls. "You have Michael with or against you and if you have him on the opposite side, you're done," Turner says. 

Now for the first house vote of the night: by a vote of four to zero, Terrance is voted out. He pulls a Daniel and doesn't say goodbye to the housemates before leaving. As for him being chosen over Alyssa, Terrance tells Julie Chen in his exit interview: "It's a safer situation based on how I think the game and move the game and try to manipulate and influence different people to make different moves. When you can't control that part of it... it makes it an easier game."

Julie has the pleasure of surprising both Terrance and the rest of the house with the news that a second housemate will be evicted this week. "You're about to play a week's worth of Big Brother in the next hour," Julie tells the BB Motel residents. "You will not only be battling for Head of Household but two people will be nominated tonight, the veto competition will be played, the veto meeting will then take place and a second house guest will be sent to the jury house tonight and it is all happening tonight."

We're quickly thrown into the next Head of Household comp, a laser light show during which Turner proves to be the victor. With only a few minutes to strategize, the new HOH nominates Brittany and Alyssa for eviction. 

But those nominations don't last very long, as the Power of Veto comp follows shortly thereafter, with Monte winning. After strategizing with Turner, Monte decides to use the power of veto to take down Alyssa, leaving Turner with the duty of announcing a replacement nominee. "You're safe with me if you don't do this, please," Michael warns before Turner even makes the announcement, but what's done is done: Turner nominates season 24 frontrunner Michael opposite his closest ally, Brittany. "Michael, I love you dude... I'm so sorry but I have to open up first place," Turner tells him.  

Things are heated between the housemates before Julie calls them back to their seats for the votes. In their final comments, Michael throws Brittany under the bus about her strategizing alliances with other players and promises Alyssa and Taylor that he'll support them against Monte and Turner if they let him stay, but it's for naught. Michael is unanimously voted out and also leaves without saying goodbye to anyone. 

"Absolutely, they should have voted me out," Michael tells Julie in his exit interview. "I think it was a big shot, I don't blame them, I think it was the right move... I love this game, so I respect it."

It's no surprise who the frontrunner of Big Brother season 24 is and after breaking a major show record this week, Michael Bruner has gone down in the BB history books— but will his greatness be the reason he's sent packing? 

Wednesday night's episode picks up shortly after the nomination meeting, during which Head of Household Michael put up Terrance and Alyssa. "My target this week is Terrance because I think a lot of people are looking at him as an ideal person to bring to the final two and that cuts my chances of making it there in half," Michael says. As for Terrance, who is facing his fifth time on the block? "I'm definitely not surprised."

However, Michael's closest ally, Brittany, disagrees with his strategy and urges him to, should he win the veto, put Turner on the block instead because he's a bigger target than Terrance. However, Michael had promised Turner that he was safe this week, even though Turner was the one who wanted to backdoor Michael last week. 

"Me getting picked for the veto and winning it took away a potential plan from last week..." Michael tells Terrance. "Who could have instituted that plan?" Terrance pointedly replies. "It had to be the HOH," Michael says, meaning Turner. 

Turner, however, throws Terrance under the bus, telling Michael that it was all Terrance's idea to target him. "I don't fully believe Turner when he says it was all Terrance's idea to backdoor me last week...Turner, you're lucky that I made this promise because the best thing to do for me right now would be to send you home," Michael says. 

Now for the veto comp, the classic BB Comics challenge. Along with Michael, Terrance and Alyssa, Monte, Brittany and Taylor are selected to compete. Terrance, who drew "houseguest choice," picked Taylor over his supposed ally Turner because he's angry for being on the block for the backdoor move that Turner made. "Maybe he wants to backdoor me?" Turner questions to Alyssa. 

And in no surprise to anyone, the veto winner in Michael, who beats out the other competitors by three whole minutes. "I just won my sixth veto of the summer and I am freaking out. I broke the record for the single most veto competition wins in a single summer," Michael says. 

However, Michael's record-breaking win puts a target on his back from a surprising source: Brittany. "With Michael being the biggest target in this house by far, I need a backup plan in case he gets taken out sooner rather than later," Brittany says. "Michael is my best friend...but if we don't stop the train, there are no options," Brittany tells Turner. 

Turner swiftly alerts Michael about what Brittany said, and the veto camp isn't all that surprised because he knows that Britt is a superfan of the game and wouldn't settle for second place if they did make it to the final two. "This is really frustrating. I think Brittany is worried about her position in the game and she's going into panic mode and when she panics, she starts to talk and when she talks too much, she leaks information that can come back to bite her and because we're so closely aligned, anything that hurts her game ends up hurting my game and that makes me nervous," Michael says. 

In the veto meeting, Michael chooses to go against Brittany's suggestion to take down Turner and instead decides not to use the power of veto, keeping the nominees of Terrance and Alyssa the same. 

What will happen to the Michael and Brittany alliance? And what about that double eviction Julie Chen teased? We'll find out in another Big Brother 2 hour episode on Thursday.

After one of the most controversial weeks of Big Brother season 24, we finally find out who got voted off Big Brother during Thursday night's eviction episode. Michael and Brittany's reveal of Kyle's "Cookout 2.0" alliance strategy erupted throughout the BB Motel, sparking a tense Big Brother house meeting between Kyle and the other housemates. 

"I just want to say I'm sorry and I just want to lay out my thought process. I started to recognize that [Monte] and Joseph were obviously very close, I recognized that Joseph and Taylor had started to get very close from my perspective and to be honest, I lumped you three as a possible break in the [Leftovers] alliance," Kyle explained to Terrance and Monte. "I started to piece together everyone's 'why'...I pieced it back to The Cookout because they had such a strong why and inadvertently I realize how bad that looks now. I'm sorry."

An emotional Terrance added: "I feel like I just got played, man. I was told Monte, Joseph and Taylor are running The Leftovers. Everything in that backyard sent Joseph into a spiral...you made me pull a trigger and that man was absolutely telling me the whole truth. It should have been you that left, not Joseph."

"I hope you use this as an opportunity to learn more about life and having relationships and the cultural divides that happen," Terrance told Kyle. 

But it's not only Kyle that the housemates were frustrated with. "I still don't think I can wrap my head around why they did it today as opposed to when it happened two weeks ago," Monte said about Brittany and Michael's decision to release the information about Kyle's comments. "Why did you sit on this for this long?" Terrance asked. 

"You guys knew this prior... why wouldn't you all come to us and tell us about that situation, knowing that it has 100 percent to do with race and gameplay? It looks very strategic... it's some onus that you guys have to take to," Terrance questioned during the house meeting. 

Monte and Taylor discuss the future of The Leftovers alliance in the wake of the Kyle controversy and Brittany and Michael's part in the whole thing. "If there's an opportunity where Michael does not win the damn veto, if there's a chance to take a shot and we don't take it, there's no way we're winning," Monte strategized, making frontrunner Michael a target. "Michael is running away with the $750,000... socially his game has been flawless, so if there's a time to take a shot, we have to take that shot when it's available."

For now, though, Michael is this week's POV holder, which he uses to take Brittany off the block. Turner then, unsurprisingly, nominates Kyle to go up against Taylor and after everything that happened this week, it's not a shock that the house votes unanimously—yes, even Alyssa, who was in a showmance with Kyle—to evict Kyle from the house. 

With a big threat now out, who will the housemates target next week, during which we'll see yet another double eviction?

What has so-far been simmering on social media and the live feeds has finally boiled over on Big Brother season 24, prompting a tense house meeting involving houseguest Kyle Capener and his alliance strategy.

But first, a look at who's won the golden power of veto this week. On Sunday night's episode, HOH Turner nominated Brittany and Taylor for eviction, but assured both that they weren't his actual target—three-time HOH winner Michael Bruner was. 

Securing standings for both himself and his final-two ally Brittany lit a fire under Michael's behind to win the POV comp this week and while it was neck-and-neck there for a second with Turner during the classic slip-and-slide challenge, Michael came out the victor and won his fifth POV of the season. "I was probably going to go home if I didn't win this to save myself," Michael said. 

"I'm really happy for him but I'm also a little nervous because he's probably going to use the veto on Brittany," Taylor said. That meant that Turner had to name someone as a replacement nominee. "This is not the way I wanted my week to go," Turner said. 

Turner was considering putting up Monte as a replacement, but Michael had a different plan. He and Brittany strategized that now was the opportune time to throw Kyle under the bus to keep all four of his "Big Brochella" housemates safe. 

"I think it's important for people to know about what Kyle has been saying to us," Michael said, referring to comments Kyle had previously made about creating an alliance à la last season's The Cookout alliance with Brittany, Michael and Turner, which would exclude players of color. Producers showed a flashback to Kyle telling Michael and Brittany earlier: “I’m sorry, but after The Cookout uniting under one common cause, which was race… it has to play into my thought process moving forward in the game.”

"I want to take this information to Monte and Taylor. I know that this directly involves the two of them," Michael said. "We can present this information to people in the house, especially Turner, and maybe get Kyle out this week."

Michael and Brittany first talked it through to Monte and Taylor, who were troubled by the news. "This is one of the last things I expected to hear this morning," Monte said. "To me, it's sad to hear that Kyle would propose that. At this point, I don't even think I really have an option to work with The Pound because this definitely changes things."

Monte and Taylor gave them the go-ahead to alert the other housemates, so they tell Alyssa, Turner and Terrance. "If this is true, then I'm just disappointed," said Alyssa, who has been in a showmance with Kyle all season. "That's not something that I would want to be a part of at all."

For his part, Kyle sensed that something was amiss in the house, so Alyssa gave him the heads up. "A race thing is what they're pitching that I was saying?" Kyle replied. "Alyssa, this is bigger than the game. This is life... this is life-changing. Like, what do I do? That's not true at all." He tried to go to the HOH room to talk to Turner but Michael and Brittany were still in there, so we end the episode with Kyle in tears in the Diary Room. It goes without saying that Thursday night's eviction episode is sure to be a doozy.

"The Leftovers are done," one housemate utters by the end of Sunday night's episode. Seeing who is on the block this week on Big Brother is proof. 

Episode 22 of Big Brother season 24 picks up directly after the reunion of the "Big Brochella" and "Dyre Fest" attendees, following the Split House evictions that resulted in both Jasmine and Joseph going home. Upon realizing that her close friend and ally Joseph was sent packing without even a goodbye, Taylor is distraught. "It's like, I couldn't even hug the guy? I've had someone that I care about so much taken away from me."

For other housemates, particularly Kyle, Joseph's departure offers up a convenient scapegoat as to who spilled the beans about The Leftovers alliance. However, not everyone was buying what Kyle was selling. "It wouldn't surprise me if Kyle takes this opportunity to spin whatever narrative he thinks will benefit him the most," says his ally Michael. 

In fact, there is overall confusion over whether The Leftovers alliance is even still in place, as the "Big Brochella" members of the alliance (Michael, Brittany, Taylor and Monte) aren't aware that the "Dyre Fest" members (Terrance, Kyle, Alyssa and Turner) created a new and separate alliance, the After Party, during their time outside this week. 

When Turner wins the Head of Household comp — a tiny stacking game where they have to stack mini cans of energy drinks with tweezers — he's got a tough choice as to who to nominate this week. 

"I formed the After Party while at Dyre Fest, but being back inside with the Leftovers, I realize I'm aligned with everybody," he confesses. "No matter what I do, I'm gonna make some enemies. So now I just have to prioritize what's best for my game."

Kyle's standing is safe — we find out that he and Turner have a final-two alliance — but the rest of the house is scrambling to figure out where Turner's loyalties lie. Monte tells Turner that Taylor, Brittany and Michael have a mini alliance within The Leftovers, so they shift their focus to The Pound, the pre-Leftovers union they created with Kyle and Joseph. 

"At the end of the day, The Leftovers are over for me and now it's all about my dogs in The Pound," Monte says. 

During the nomination ceremony, HOH Turner ends up putting Taylor and Brittany on the block. "I love you as people but Joseph said Taylor asked to go into a final three with you two. I felt left out over a final three, so this is what I thought was best for my game," Turner explains his reasoning. 

"I just feel confused. Like Joseph was my very close friend, I don't understand how he could be so committed to protecting the two of us and then after being voted out by someone, tell that person information to hurt the people that he's protected this whole time," Taylor says tearfully. 

"He might've just said The Leftovers are done, fend for yourself," Brittany says. 

"It's so blatantly obvious that they're lying. Do you think I'm stupid?" Michael says. "He's drawn a line in the sand. The Leftovers are done."

Thursday night's episode of Big Brother season 24 saw the first double eviction of the season and with it came plenty of drama — outside, at least.

The "Big Brochella" crew of Michael, Taylor, Brittany, Monte and Jasmine had a pretty easy go of it when it came to their eviction ceremony this week. With Head of Household Michael and nominees Monte and Jasmine unable to vote, only Brittany and Taylor could weigh in on who would be sent packing, and they unsurprisingly chose the one housemate not in their The Leftovers alliance: Jasmine. 

"I'm not completely shocked...but I really did start to believe that Monte was a bigger threat than I was," Jasmine told host Julie Chen during her exit interview, revealing that she felt most betrayed by her ally Alyssa because she gave up intel to other members of the house. 

Things weren't so smooth sailing outside at "Dyre Fest," with HOH Terrance using his power of veto to save Turner and put up Kyle against Joseph. "Even though I put Kyle up, I'm definitely more nervous about Joseph in this game," Terrance revealed. "His bromance with Monte is definitely a lot stronger than any showmance. They call themselves MoJo!"

Joseph tries to give Terrance info about Kyle birthing The Leftovers alliance, but it's for naught: when he is called up into the Diary Room, Terrance creates a brand-new alliance with Kyle, Alyssa and Turner, called The After Party. "It is like Lord of the Flies out here right now," Turner says. "The people at Brochella have no idea the type of savages the Dyre Fest attendees have turned into."

During the "Dyre Fest" eviction ceremony, Alyssa and Turner vote to evict Joseph. When asked about Kyle's gameplay, Joseph said in his exit interview: "It's not a game I wanted to play. I took the harder route going forward. I tried to keep some form of my moral compass in line. I should have done a better job. I should have seen it coming."

By the episode's end, the Split House twist has ended and the "Big Brochella" and "Dyre Fest" groups have reunited in the BB Motel. Stay tuned for Sunday's episode to find out who is the new Head of Household.

What happened on Big Brother last night? A major alliance crumbled, that's what. 

The double-eviction Split House twist has had a calamitous effect on The Leftovers, the seven-person alliance that housemate Kyle Capener cooked up early on in Big Brother season 24. And it's ironically Kyle who is the cause of the alliance's demise. 

While Michael, Taylor, Brittany, Monte and Jasmine play "Big Brochella" in the BB Motel, Kyle along with Terrance, Turner, Joseph and Alyssa are playing "Dyre Fest" in the backyard. Inside, Head of Household Michael had put up Jasmine and Monte; outdoors, HOH Terrance had nominated Joseph and Turner, after Kyle had informed him of the entire Leftovers alliance to keep himself and his showmance partner Alyssa safe this week. 

"The ultimate move is Kyle. I just need you to win veto, that's it," Terrance tells Joseph, but it's all lies. "Joseph, you are my absolute main target," Terrance confesses in the Diary Room. 

During the indoor veto comp — hosted by "everyone's favorite houseguest from Big Brother 23," Tiffany Mitchell — Brittany wins the classic counting competition and nabs the golden power of veto, a boost for The Leftovers as ally Michael is also this week's "Big Brochella" HOH. "We're in full power, full control and it feels good," Taylor says of The Leftovers' standing in the game this week. 

But what's happening outside is an entirely different story: the target on Joseph's back isn't sitting well with The Leftovers allies, who want Alyssa out and view Kyle's continued protection of her as a betrayal. "If Alyssa comes back, we know who would be responsible for that," Michael tells the allies. "He'll do it to one of us next." 

"Kyle already showed a willingness to go against The Leftovers last week so if Joseph is not coming back to the house this week and he had anything to do with it, then that's pretty much BB suicide," Monte says. 

During the Dyre Fest group's veto comp — in which players have to stack and transfer styrofoam containers — HOH Terrance pulls out a win, giving him ultimate control over who is on the block this week. "I am so happy Terrance won...now I just have to keep the nominations the same," Kyle says. 

Terrance, however, spills to Joseph that his "ally" Kyle threw him under the bus to protect Alyssa and told him everything about The Leftovers alliance. "I'm heartbroken. Kyle betrayed me...I have literally been played for a fool."

During the two separate veto meetings, Brittany decides not to use the power of veto and keeps the indoor nominees of Jasmine and Monte the same, but Terrance switches things up outside and uses the POV on Turner. His replacement nominee? Kyle. 

"These kids have been spilling secrets all over the place," Terrance says. "I'm just driving the bus and these fools are just throwing each other under it!"

"Terrance putting Kyle on the block next to me is the glimmer of hope I needed...I'm not a fighter but if you punch me first, I'm gonna hit back and I don't miss," Joseph says.

Fans react to what happened on Big Brother last night:

Host Julie Chen promised that Thursday's Big Brother 2 hour episode would be the "biggest, most action-packed eviction night ever" and while they were some lags (those silly punishments ate up some precious minutes of the HOH comp), it did introduce an unprecedented twist that will totally upend the housemates' game. 

The episode picks up right after the nomination ceremony, where we found out who got put on the block this week on Big Brother season 24: Terrance and Indy. After much back-and-forth in The Leftovers alliance over whether Alyssa would be put up as a replacement nominee, in retaliation for her stealing Taylor's London trip prize in Wednesday's episode, POV winner Kyle decides to put his showmance with Alyssa over his alliance and announces that he's going to keep the nominees the same. 

"This was a tough decision but for me personally, it doesn't make sense to use the power of veto on either of you," Kyle tells Indy and Terrance.

During the live eviction, Indy is knocked out with a vote of seven to one, with only Michael sympathetically voting for Terrance so she doesn't leave on a unanimous vote. "Whenever you get home, you will see that I gave my best to each of you and I hope you guys really regret this," she tells the house upon her departure.

Was she surprised by her eviction? "I was not comfortable but I was really fine about my game. I had really good people around me that I thought I could trust...but this voting shows me that I may have chosen the wrong people to have around me," Indy tells Julie in her eviction interview, singling out her Five Swatters ally Kyle. 

And now for the big twist. Julie tells the housemates: "The Big Brother game is about to completely change. You are about to experience a week of Big Brother like it has never been played in over 20 years of this game. Get ready for the Split House twist."

What does the Split House twist entail? "There will be two games of Big Brother being played simultaneously and separately. Tonight, two Heads of Household will be crowned. One HOH will live inside the house this week with four other houseguests playing one Big Brother game at 'Big Brochella," Julie explains.  A second HOH along with the remaining four houseguests will be living in the backyard all week long, playing their own game at 'Dire Fest.'

The two groups will have no contact for an entire week. Both Big Brochella and Dire Fest will have their own nominations, their own veto competition and meeting, and their own vote and eviction. Yes, that means two houseguests will be sent to jury in a double eviction next week. 

The HOH comp determines not only who will be the two Heads of Household but also where everyone will be sleeping for the next week. In a "Where is Waldo?"-esque picture game, frontrunner Michael comes out victorious yet again as the Big Brochella HOH, with Terrance a close second as the Dire Fest HOH. Each HOH is personally picking who they want in their "house," which we will find out during Sunday night's episode.

This week's Head of Household Taylor Hale had a clear plan going into Wednesday night's episode—use Monte as a pawn to get Terrance voted out—but by the end of the veto comp, a whole new strategy unfoled after a fellow houseguest's major blunder during episode 18 of Big Brother season 24. 

The episode picks up right after the nomination ceremony, in which Taylor put Indy and Terrance on the block. Taylor assured both that they're not her main targets, but neither trusts her. "Taylor tells me that I'm a pawn... I absolutely don't believe that. I think Taylor and Monte are working together," Terrance says.

However, Taylor is wary of getting too much blood on her hands—she doesn't want to send a woman home, which cuts out Jasmine, Indy and Alyssa, so Terrance seems the easy answer. "It would be crazy for me to put Alyssa up with all of the reassurance I've given her. I'd prefer not to," she tells Joseph, who has been acting as a double agent between The Leftovers and his "fake" alliance, the Five Swatters, with Kyle, Jasmine, Alyssa and Indy. 

Joseph comes up with the idea to offer himself up as the replacement nominee to help conceal his alliance with Taylor and the rest of The Leftovers. "Joseph, what are you thinking?" Michael confesses after Joseph tells him this plan. The Leftovers already have a majority in the house. "Not only is Joseph coming up with really messy plans, he is playing up both sides of that house that doesn't help the alliance... we have seen how that ends, just ask Pooch and Nicole," Michael adds. 

Time for the veto competition: along with HOH Taylor and nominees Terrance and Indy, housemates Alyssa, Jasmine and Kyle compete to earn the highest score by bouncing a ball down a gigantic guitar neck marked with points. As players are eliminated, they are given a prize or a punishment, things like cash money, cushy vacations and, yes, the power of veto, which can be stolen by the next eliminated player. 

When Taylor gets knocked out, she's given the prize of a weeklong trip to London—but she doesn't get to keep it for long. Alyssa muddles over potentially stealing Taylor's prize, to which Taylor warningly reminds her that as HOH, she still has the power to put up a replacement nominee. However, Alyssa misguidedly chooses to take the trip and give Taylor her punishment instead. 

"That was a blunder," Monte says. "She might have made the deadliest mistake of her life," Joseph agrees. 

"I did start this week not wanting to target ladies, but [Alyssa] has given me a reason to now," Taylor says. "Could have had a trip to London. Now you have a trip to the jury house. Enjoy!"

Taylor's The Leftovers ally Kyle ends up winning the power of veto, but is in a showmance with Alyssa, so will he end up using the POV or keeping the nominees the same to protect his house girlfriend? 

"Alyssa, why would you take the HOH's reward and give her a punishment?" Kyle whines. "The last thing I want is to be stuck between my showmance and my alliance."

Social media rejoiced when they found out Taylor Hale was named the new Head of Household after winning the classic wall comp, but there was much confusion over who the HOH would be putting on the block this week on Big Brother season 24. 

Taylor's The Leftovers allies felt that Jasmine would be an easy vote, as she is one of the remaining housemates not in the alliance and has been annoying the rest of the BB Motel residents with her #muffingate meltdown. But Taylor makes it known that she doesn't want to evict a fellow Black woman from the house, which her allies respect, so Jasmine was off the table.

That led to some pretty confusing strategizing from the first-time HOH. She had previously told fellow allies, Joseph and Kyle, that she wouldn't put them on the block, and also promised Indy and Alyssa—both of whom are not part of The Leftovers—the same. So she sets her sights on Terrance, who did not have her back during the Nicole blindside a few weeks back, but wants to put someone else up as a pawn. After initially (and misguidedly) planning to put up Monte or Turner, Taylor decides to use Indy to backdoor Terrance.

She gives Indy a head's up that this is her nomination plan, much to Indy's frustration. "She promised that she wouldn't put me or Alyssa on the block at all so it kind of surprised me but at the same time, I never trusted her 100%," Indy confesses. 

"Being HOH is proving to be a lot harder than I thought," Taylor says. However, she ends up sticking to her guns and puts up Terrance and Indy during the nomination ceremony. "Indy, it's no surprise, we have the most distant relationship in the house," Taylor explains, also saying that she wants Terrance to play in the veto to prove to the rest of the house that they've been underestimating him.

Thursday night's eviction episode of Big Brother season 24 was a momentous one. Not only did the housemates vote out a big player in Daniel Durston, but host Julie Chen also announced a major twist that will seriously shake up the game.

But first, that eviction: after his final-two ally Nicole was evicted last week, it was only inevitable that Daniel would be on the chopping block tonight. And with an eight to one vote (only buddy Terrance voted for Daniel's Festie Bestie Kyle), he was unsurprisingly sent packing, but not before calling the entire Big Brother season 24 cast "clowns" for not redirecting their focus from him onto comp king Michael, who he feels is the clear frontrunner in the house. 

But Michael's not the only comp beast, as this season's Wall comp proved. As has been the case for many of this season's Head of Household comps, the challenge on Thursday night's episode—an endurance test in which players had to hang onto a tilting wall—had to get cut for time, with the victor to be officially announced on Sunday. 

However, live-feed fans were so excited over this week's HOH winner that the news quickly spread over social media: in yet another impressive act of her redemption arc, Taylor won the Head of Household comp, making her only the fifth Black woman in Big Brother history to earn the title of HOH. 

And that wasn't the only historic moment of the episode. After the eviction, Julie announced to the remaining houseguests that not only did they all make it this season's jury, but also the Festie Besties twist was over and they'd resume competing as individuals. 

However, an even bigger surprise is that next week, the house will be split in two. The two groups will have no interaction with each other and, for the first time, there will be two entirely different Big Brother games going on, with two people up for eviction next Thursday.

It's that time of the year, folks: OTEV, Big Brother fans' favorite comp, has made its grand return. 

The long-running character of OTEV — which is "VETO" spelled backward, of course— popped up in Wednesday night's episode of Big Brother season 24, this time taking the form of a cowboy hat-wearing, country-twanged cockroach. As in seasons past, OTEV was there to host the power of veto competition, during which houseguests had to listen to a clue-riddled ditty sung by the roach, search for a sauce "bottle" that correctly answered the riddle, and scurry back up a ramp to their designated spot in front of OTEV without being the last to arrive. Each round, the last houseguest to make it back is eliminated, musical chairs style. 

Playing this week's veto comp were Head of Household pair Brittany and Michael, Turner and Jasmine, and the boys' trio of Terrance, Joseph and Monte. Brittany, Turner and Jasmine were the first three out, leaving Michael to battle it out with the boys. Would Michael do the unimaginable and win his fourth POV comp, no doubt making him a target for the Big Brother season 24 cast down the line? You bet he did!

Now came the tricky part: would he keep the nominees of Terrance, Joseph and Monte the same in a backdoor plot to get long-term threat Monte out, or would he use the power of veto to get lone wolf Daniel out now that his ally Nicole had been evicted? For their part, new allies Terrance and Daniel teamed up to spread the #EvictMonte idea throughout the house, enlisting Jasmine, Alyssa and Indy to preach the strategy to Michael. 

"Michael has the golden opportunity to take out one of the biggest threats in this house," Jasmine says. "I don't know when we'll have this type of access to do this again ever," Terrance tries to sell it to Michael. "It would be freaking iconic."

However, their sales tactic rubs Michael the wrong way and he decides to use the power of veto and nominates Daniel and Kyle to replace Terrance, Monte and Joseph. "Daniel and the other side of the house thought they were slick...but I'm not doing their dirty work," Michael says of the move. 

"He's definitely afraid to take a big shot," Terrance says of Michael, promising: "I'm keeping Daniel in the building."

Fans react to the return of OTEV, Big Brother comp:

There was more than one meltdown during Sunday night's episode of Big Brother season 24, with Daniel taking out his anger over his ally Nicole being evicted during the last episode on the rest of the housemates. But the main fallout was over Jasmine's muffin mystery, which viewers call "one of the funniest segments in Big Brother history."

Jasmine Davis, who has been dealing with (or milking) an ankle injury for the bulk of the season, was already in a salty mood during Sunday's episode after Kyle may or may not have hit her injured foot while passing her in the backyard. Her dramatic reaction to the not-so-encounter (TV replay showed that Kyle didn't actually even touch her) rubbed her Festie Bestie Matt Turner the wrong way—but he managed to figure out a way to get his revenge. 

As a sweet treat for herself, Jasmine saved two muffins in a Zip-loc baggie for later—only to come back and find that someone in the Big Brother season 24 cast had eaten half of one of them. She then went on a desperate hunt to find out which offending housemate was the muffin culprit, with no one coming clean about their snack-time stealthiness. Jasmine even went so far as going to hobble over to the Diary Room and see if they can replay the footage so she can find out which houseguest did it. (They refuse.)

The mystery was solved, at least to viewers, when Turner revealed to Taylor that he was the one who ate the muffin, joking that it might have been the most expensive muffin he ever ate but that the move was worth it. 

"We can’t trust Jasmine," Taylor told her The Leftovers ally.
"That's why I ate her muffin," Turner responded, in what will surely be one of the most-quoted moments of the season. 

Baked goods weren't the only source of drama during the episode, which included a balance-beam HOH comp in which Michael, yet again, pulled out as the victor. And while for The Leftovers alliance, getting lone wolf Daniel out of the house would be the most obvious choice, Michael felt that putting Monte on the chopping block would be a smarter move for his personal game. 

By the episode's end, Michael nominates Monte, Terrance and Joseph, with the option to backdoor Daniel if need be.
