Taylor has been making power moves ever since she and Ridge got back together on The Bold and the Beautiful. But what happens when her world falls apart (again)?

Before Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) shipped off to Italy with Eric (John McCook) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Taylor (Rebecca Budig) asked him to set a date for their wedding. Prior to that, she asked him to marry her by presenting the ring he gave to her long ago.

It’s understandable that Taylor would be concerned about her relationship with Ridge. Everyone seems to think Brooke and Ridge were destined to be together, including Eric, who has been working tirelessly in the background to get his son to see the light.

During their Italy trip, Ridge jumped into the water to save Brooke after she was knocked from Nick’s (Jack Wagner) boat. If he hadn’t been there, she would have drowned. After performing CPR and making sure she was all right, he pledged to make everything right, but we have yet to see what he means by that.

In the preview for the week of August 11, Taylor tells Ridge that Brooke has a bright future ahead — with Nick. She adds that she’s never taking her ring off. This doesn’t make Ridge look happy. In fact, he looks downright miserable and we’re guessing it’s because he knows he has to call off the engagement.

Truthfully, Ridge never should have let things get this far but he loves both of the women even though he’s only meant to be with one of them. He has kids with both women but his ties to Brooke are, according to the fabric of the canvas, much stronger.

After learning about how Ridge saved Brooke’s life — and the reason he was on the shore that day to begin with — Taylor will likely surmise that her time with Ridge is limited. But credit to her for not going down with the ship without a fight.

When she first arrived in Los Angeles, Taylor thought she was dying but it turned out to be Broken Heart Syndrome. She was diagnosed by Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech), who is in the middle of her own mess after fabricating Liam’s (Scott Clifton) entire brain cancer scare to extort a million dollars from his father. (Now we have to wonder, can we trust her diagnosis? That’s a whole other can of worms…)

Knowing that she’s prone to Broken Heart Syndrome, and knowing how those symptoms mirror actual heart issues, we have to wonder what will happen if/when Ridge calls off their engagement. With Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) out of town and most of the women around her tied to Brooke, Taylor won’t have a lot of people she can turn to and if her symptoms start getting serious, she could be in trouble.

We have a feeling that Ridge calling off the engagement will send Taylor into a spiral, and that will put him into an even bigger quandary as he tries to reconcile his feelings for both women while admitting that he messed up by leaving Brooke in the first place. She may have had Broken Heart Syndrome in the beginning, but something even more serious could put Taylor’s health in jeopardy.

We wrap up the week at Bill’s house, where Finn (Tanner Novlan) urges Grace (Cassandra Creech) to tell Liam (Scott Clifton) the truth about his brain cancer. Hope (Annika Noelle) freaks out as Liam says the cancer is back. Grace says there is no cancer, which puts them at ease. When Liam calls her a miracle worker, Finn and Grace share a look.

At Forrester Creations, Bill (Don Diamont) listens as Katie (Heather Tom) tells him about Brooke’s accident. He’s relieved she’s ok, and Katie asks how he’s doing now that Liam is cured. He’s relieved about Liam, too, noting that he has a million reasons to be happy.

Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) looks at the medicine that Li (Naomi Matsuda) dropped and asks what’s going on. She wants to know where Luna’s remains are. Luna (Lisa Yamada), in the meantime, is still unconscious in her makeshift hospital bed.

Sheila says she loved Luna, and she wants to pay her respects. Li says she doesn’t have any time for this and leaves. Sheila goes to chase her but steps on a vial of morphine, leading Sheila to stop and think about Li’s strange behavior.

Katie can’t believe the treatment cost a million dollars, and Bill says he would have paid a hundred times that to save his son. Katie asks if Bill wonders about the strange circumstances, but Bill didn’t give any of that a second thought because Grace saved his life. “In my mind, that woman is a saint.”

Hope and Liam heap praise on Grace and what she did. She listens to them, but Finn eventually stops them and says that Grace needs to tell them exactly what happened with his brain tumor.

There’s a knock at Li’s door. She goes to answer it and sees Sheila there. Li closes the door on Sheila’s bad foot (“oh, my three toes!”) and Sheila says she knows what Li is up to.

Bill wraps up a call, and Katie says he’s a busy man. Bill says he has his priorities straight. When you almost lose a child, it changes everything. Early on, he tried to mold Liam in his image, and he said unspeakably cruel things. He has a lot to atone for, but now he has the time to do it thanks to Grace.

Hope asks what’s going on. Grace asks Liam if he remembers when he was diagnosed with the brain tumor. Hope asks why it took so long to find the tumor. Grace says she “did something” to his scans. She starts to apologize and eventually admits she altered the scans. Liam says he had brain cancer and had all of the symptoms. “I made it look like you had a cancerous tumor when you didn’t,” she says. Liam wants to understand how he had all of the side effects. “I’m telling you I did,” Liam insists.

Sheila says she knows Li’s secret, showing her the morphine. “Drugs aren’t the answer,” Sheila says. She says Li needs help, and she wants to help. She refuses to leave Li like this while she’s grieving. Sheila pretends to leave, but then she forces her way inside and demands to know what’s going on.

Liam wants to know what’s going on. Something was wrong with him. Grace says there was never any tumor. She made it look like he had one. Finn says the surgery is just a series of superficial cuts on his scalp. Grace gave him medicine to make him sick, and then she said she cured him. “Why would you do that, Dr. Buckingham?” Liam asks. Hope stares at her. “I can think of why. A million reasons,” she says. Liam lunges at Grace, telling her that she put his family through hell. “I’m so sorry,” she says.

Li tells Sheila to leave, but Sheila refuses to leave in the “state” Li is in. When the curtain gets pulled back, Sheila sees Luna and is thrilled that she’s alive.

Bill knows he can’t make up for getting Luna out of prison. As if his battle with cancer isn’t enough. Bill is so grateful to Finn and Grace for saving him.

Finn says Grace saw Liam’s history of brain injuries and created the diagnosis. Liam can’t listen to Grace apologizing. He asks why she did it, but Hope says she’s just as bad as her ex-husband, who stole their daughter for money. Grace explains that Reese’s loan sharks were threatening her daughters, and she did what she had to. Surely they understand as parents.

Liam says he understands extortion, and that she is someone who played God, curing his fake cancer for money. Hope slaps Grace and says she’s sick. Liam says it doesn’t matter how sorry Grace is or how scared she was. She robbed Liam of their lives. Grace offers to turn herself in because she’ll be haunted by what she’s done. Finn knows they have questions, and he can answer everything, but he wanted them to know as soon as he found out. He offers to take Grace to the police station.

Once alone, Hope starts to freak out. She doesn't care about Grace’s excuse because Liam lived through months of that lie. She knows what it’s like, and she hugs him, telling him they aren’t losing him and she’s so sorry he had to deal with it. Liam holds her, but he has a strange look on his face.

It was a busy week on The Bold and the Beautiful last week. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric (John McCook) were still in Italy, where tension between Ridge and Nick (Jack Wagner) was at an all-time high.

It didn't help the situation when Nick took Brooke out on his boat and she almost died. The boat's steering wasn't working and Nick narrowly avoided a collision with another boat, but in the process Brooke fell into the water and would have drowned if not for Ridge jumping in to save her. Later, he promised to make things right.

Finn (Tanner Novlan), in the meantime, finally confronted Grace (Cassandra Creech) about Liam's (Scott Clifton) surgery and she eventually confessed that the whole thing was a fabrication. She made it all up to extort a million dollars from Bill (Don Diamont) so she could pay off her ex-husband's loan sharks.

Not surprisingly, Liam was more than infuriated upon learning this information and he would have attacked her if not for Finn holding him back. Hope (Annika Noelle) looked on in horror, thinking of everything the Buckinghams have done to their family.

Lastly there was Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), still mourning Luna's (Lisa Yamada) death. Li (Naomi Matsuda) has been avoiding her and when the opportunity came along, Sheila finally confronted Li and made the shocking discovery that Luna was still alive.

Here's the look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week:

Even after the big accident, Nick isn't giving up so easily on Brooke. In the preview we see that he has his ring and he wants to propose to her because he loves her. Brooke is stunned.

And then there's Taylor (Rebecca Budig), who is trying to reassure a very dejected-looking Ridge that Brooke has a bright future ahead with Nick. Not only that, but she's not about to take her ring off, which isn't exactly the kind of great news she thinks it is.

Sheila is confused by Li's actions, asking why Li saved her. It doesn't make sense, but now that she knows about it, it opens up a whole new can of worms.

Lastly, an angry Liam and Hope try to explain what Grace did to Bill. Naturally, Bill is furious. "That bitch is going to pay," he seethes.

Needless to say, there's a lot of action coming to The Bold and the Beautiful next week!

We begin today at the hospital, where Grace (Cassandra Creech) tells Finn (Tanner Novlan) that he doesn’t have to tell anyone that she lied about Liam’s condition. He points out that Liam deserves to know, but she says she did this to protect her daughters, and she begs him not to say anything.

Hope (Annika Noelle) fills Liam (Scott Clifton) in about Brooke being in the hospital after the boat crash. It’s a precaution to make sure she’s ok. When Hope gives him a glass of water, he jokes that he’s ok now, but he also admits that it’s less weird than when Bill dotes on him. He says that this accident makes him know Bill loves him in a million different ways.

At Il Giardino, Deacon (Sean Kanan) gets Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) attention. She’s looking at the photos of Hollis and Tom. Sheila says she’s tried to reach out to Li again, but she won’t respond. Sheila needs closure and wants to pay her respects.

In the makeshift hospital room, Li (Naomi Matsuda) tells Luna (Lisa Yamada) to hold on and that she won’t let this be the end for her.

Deacon reminds Sheila that Luna is gone, but Sheila needs to know where she is. Deacon says she’s out of their lives, and that’s a good thing. She killed their friends and shot Sheila, and it’s best if Sheila puts her out of her mind.

As Luna sleeps, Li promises to do everything she can. She knows Luna needs more medicine.

Hope says that, Bill aside, Liam is a good father and a good man. He mentions the million dollars to Hope.

When Grace tells Finn to think about her daughters, Finn points out that Liam’s daughters might have thought their father was dying. He asks what will happen if the loan sharks need more money, and she swears she’ll never do anything like this again. But Finn isn’t so sure.

Sheila doesn’t expect Deacon to understand what she’s going through. He doesn’t like that she’s in pain over this, and he doesn't want to cause more. When she walks away, she says she’s going to go find Finn. Though Steffy is out of town, Sheila truly believes she might have a shot at getting along with her eventually. She wants to pay her respects to Finn, but Deacon points out that Luna died trying to kill Steffy, and he might not feel the same way about her. And she’s not coming back.

Li needs to run to the hospital for more medicine.

Liam says Bill paid a million dollars for the surgery. He didn’t hesitate. Hope is stunned.

Finn says that what she did to Liam was wrong. Grace feels terrible and says she felt that justice was served after Reese stole Hope and Liam’s baby. Finn says that what Grace did was just as bad, and he can’t keep quiet.

Sheila walks into Li’s office, but he’s not there. She pulls out her phone, and a nurse comes in. When April (Jamison Belushi), the lab tech, says Li is on a leave of absence, Sheila says she was also a nurse, and she asks if there’s a way to locate Luna’s remains. Sheila thinks the leave of absence was so sudden, so she guesses that Luna’s death hit Li hard and maybe that’s why she’s not calling Sheila back.

Li checks on Luna before leaving to get more medicine. She closes the door behind her, leaving the young woman asleep in her makeshift hospital bed.

Hope can’t believe Bill paid a million dollars for the surgery. She has so many questions, but Liam sees it as proof that his father loves him that much.

Grace begs Finn not to say anything, telling him that their work is about giving people second chances. But Finn reminds her that Liam thinks he’s a cancer survivor and that the cancer could come back. Grace says if he turns her in, she’ll go to prison. She isn’t a thief. She didn’t use any of the money. Liam is going to live a long life. Finn says he can’t keep this a secret. He’s sorry that it has to be this way, but it’s her fault. She asks if he’s going to tell Liam, and when he says no, she’s relieved. “You are,” he tells her. Her expression falls.

Sheila tells April that she loved Luna, and she asks what might have happened to her remains. April offers to take a look, but when she logs into the computer, there’s no record of her body. She says Li would know who to ask. April has to get back to work, leaving Sheila with more questions.

As Sheila is leaving, she bumps into Li, who drops her purse full of medicine. Sheila says she’s been trying to reach her and she wants to know where Luna is.

Liam knows that it’s a lot of money and the transfer was unusual, but it was an experiment. Hope is trying to wrap her head around it all. That’s when Finn and Grace walk in. When Grace sees Hope, she says they can come back.

Hope thanks Grace for all she’s done for Liam. Liam says he’s doing so well, even with the gunshot. He says Finn says the wound is doing well. “That is true,” Finn agrees. It’s the only truth there. “We owe you so much,” Hope says. Grace says he has no idea what’s going on there. Finn says Liam needs to hear this. “Tell Liam about his brain cancer,” Finn says. Hope and Liam hold onto each other.

After Ridge heroically saved Brooke in the August 6 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we have to wonder if it means they’re back together again.

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was searching Naples for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) when he spotted her on Nick’s (Jack Wagner) boat. Eric (John McCook) told him that Nick had a ring and was going to propose to Ridge, but what’s more is that Ridge discovered that Nick’s boat has a faulty steering mechanism.

When Brooke fell into the water after a near-collision with another boat, Ridge didn’t think twice before leaping into the water to save her. He performed CPR and brought her back just as she was starting to move toward a bright light. When she opened her eyes, Ridge was there telling her he’d make things right.

For the last several weeks, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has been living with Taylor (Rebecca Budig) after leaving Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Brooke accepted the CEO position after Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Nolle) stole Forrester Creations away from the Forresters, and Ridge viewed it as the biggest betrayal at all without realizing that she did it for him.

Over the course of the past few weeks, Eric (John McCook) has been pushing Ridge to get back with Brooke. In Eric’s opinion, Ridge is destined to be with Brooke and he’s fighting fate by staying with Taylor. When Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) showed up in LA, Ridge was perplexed but he held firm that he was with Taylor and Brooke could do as she pleased. He punctuated this sentiment by accepting Taylor’s proposal.

Once Eric, Ridge and Brooke arrived in Italy, though, things changed. Eric saw the ring Nick had prepared for Brooke and he warned Ridge that he was going to lose Brooke forever if he didn’t make a move, but when it turned out her life was on the line, Ridge didn’t hesitate. He jumped into the water to save her without hesitation and he didn’t stop holding her once she was safe.

Now is the time when things are going to get complicated for Ridge. If he decides that Brooke is truly his one and only, he has to break his engagement to Taylor. He’ll also still have to deal with Nick, who won’t want to let Brooke go. Then again, Ridge might have saved Brooke’s life but maybe he’s not ready to leave Taylor behind.

We begin today in Italy, where Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is trying to get Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) attention. Nick (Jack Wagner) realizes the steering isn’t working and the boat is caught in a wave as another boat swerves to avoid a crash. He loses balance and hits his head.. Brooke falls into the water, so Ridge dives in to save her as she sinks.

Katie (Heather Tom) can’t believe Nick has a ring. Donna (Jennifer Gareis) gives her the full update at Eric’s house, saying that it can’t be good. Donna gets the feeling that something bad could happen.

Hope (Annika Noelle) fusses over Liam (Scott Clifton), who jokes that you could never tell he had brain surgery. She reminds him of the gunshot, too, and says it’s her right to fuss. He says he feels “pumped” thanks to the new lease on life.

Grace (Cassandra Creech) confesses that Liam was never sick. She made it all up to protect her daughters. Finn (Tanner Novlan) can’t believe she made it all up to get a million dollars.

Liam says Grace saved his life twice, and he can’t think of a way to repay her for the “invaluable” things she’s done for him. She “cured the impossible,” Liam says.

Finn is in shock. Knowing what Grace did and what it put Liam, Steffy and Hope through makes him so upset. She admits the only thing that was real was Liam’s brain bleed. She says she was desperate, leading Finn to demand the whole story.

Katie says Brooke can handle anything, but Donna says Brooke is a “romantic” and could be vulnerable.

Nick is unconscious on the boat. Ridge manages to save Brooke and get her onto another boat with some help. Nick slowly starts to wake up.

Hope says Beth has been asking about seeing Liam, who misses his daughters. Hope says they’re very lucky to have Beth in their life after Reese stole her.

Grace says loan sharks were coming after her girls. Finn wants to know how Grace pulled everything off. She explains that once he was stable, she reviewed his chart and saw that he had multiple concussions. She also says the loan sharks were coming for her, and she needed the money. Finn realizes that Grace saw the opportunity to save herself after she saw he was a Spencer. When Finn asks about the headaches, Grace admits that she kept him medicated. She had no idea he would refuse treatment, and then he got shot, and the opportunity came back. She begs Finn to understand why she did it.

Katie says Nick is a great guy. Donna knows he’s not the guy Brooke wants to be with. Katie says they have many years to find joy together.

Ridge performs CPR on Brooke. “Come on, Logan. Come on,” he urges, trying to get her to breathe.

Hope recalls the storm in Catalina and how she hated being on the island alone. Liam hated not being there for her. He says doctors are supposed to take an oath to help people, not hurt them. He’s glad Reese is doing time for fraud. Liam can’t get over how opposite Grace is from Reese. Grace, he says, “is an angel.”

Grace knows what she did was unacceptable. Finn reminds her that they took an oath to save people, but she made Liam think he had weeks to live. Finn is also upset that she conned him, too. It’s unspeakable what she put everyone through. Grace says Liam is going to have a long, wonderful life. Finn says she sold her integrity for a million dollars. She begs him to keep it all between them.

Katie asks if Donna has heard from Brooke, but all Donna has gotten is a picture from the fashion show. They realize they haven’t heard from her. “I hope she’s ok,” Donna says.

Ridge keeps doing CPR. “I can’t live without you,” he says. Brooke is on a journey toward a bright light. In her mind, she’s running on a beach and Ridge is walking away from her. When he finally turns, she hugs him. At that moment, Brooke coughs up water and wakes up to see Ridge hovering over her, assuring her that everything is ok. He kisses her deeply (that wasn’t him trying to suck water from her mouth!) and tells her she’s ok.

Hope calls Grace a saint. Liam says if not for her, he’d be planning his funeral. Hope thought they were going to lose him, but Liam grabs her hand and says she’s stuck with him. “I get to live the rest of my life because of her,” he says.

Finn can’t believe Grace wants him to keep the secret. She asks if he’s told anyone about his concerns. He admits he hasn’t told anyone about his concerns (except for Bridget, Liam!), so she jumps on it and says it’s a good sign that he came to her first. She says she knows he would do anything for his family, and she chose to fight for her girls. She just wants him to keep this whole thing between them. “Nobody needs to know,” she says.

Katie says they know Ridge well. Donna agrees that they have known him since they were teens, and he’s always looked at Brooke the same way. Katie says they were meant to be together. Donna calls their love “unforgettable.”

Brooke is reclining in Ridge’s arms. He says he almost lost her, and he’ll never take her for granted again. “I’ll make this right,” he vows as he holds her. She smiles and nestles into his arms.

Now that Grace admitted she faked Liam’s illness in the August 5 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we have to wonder how deep the lies went and that makes us think about Liam’s medication. What exactly was he taking to “manage” his inoperable tumor, and will there be side effects?

Now that the floodgates have been opened and Grace’s (Cassandra Creech) secrets are starting to spill out, we — like Finn (Tanner Novlan) — have so many questions about what she did to Liam (Scott Clifton). We know about the scans and the fake surgery, but what about the pills he was taking?

Since Liam lived with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn, we have to think that Finn monitored Liam’s medications. Thinking back, there were a number of scenes where the camera focused on a shaky Liam trying to take his medicine. You would think that Finn would be able to see the meds Liam was taking and know what they were for.

Were they real medicine bottles with placebos inside? Or were they medicines that gave Liam the side effects of being shaky and losing energy to make it look like he was really sick? And was Grace supplying the bottles of pills directly to Liam? Surely the pharmacy wasn’t supplying the fake pills to Liam.

Finn keeps pointing to Liam’s miraculous recovery as evidence that it’s hard to believe he was sick to begin with. It certainly seems like as soon as Liam stopped taking the medicine, he was back to his normal self and that would make sense because the drugs left his system.

Now we’re wondering if the combination of fake cancer meds that Grace was giving Liam might have some unintended side effect. He was frequently shaking and weak and disoriented while taking the medication but at the time he believed that this was a sign of him getting worse. What the heck was in those pills?

From our perspective, even with the truth out in the open, we’re not out of the woods yet. Grace will come clean to Liam and everyone will be shocked, but we have a feeling there will be more to the story and after taking all of those pills for so long, Liam may have some lingering health issues to deal with.

The trip to Italy is becoming more and more challenging for Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), who is trying to find Nick (Jack Wagner) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Finn (Tanner Novlan) refuses to let Grace (Cassandra Creech) leave. He has serious questions about Liam’s treatment and he wants answers.

Liam (Scott Clifton) tells Hope (Annika Noelle) that he’s been saying Dr. Buckingham’s name over and over again, and now it has two meanings. There’s Grace, who saved his life, but the other Buckingham took their daughter and tormented them.

Grace says she doesn’t know why Finn is asking about the money. She insists that the money was needed for a private surgical suite and all of the costs. Grace warned Bill that it would be expensive. Finn agrees, but he asks if it was all necessary.

Ridge is on the move, looking for Brooke. She’s on the boat having lunch with Nick, praising how he’s always “full of surprises.”

Liam calls “the tale of two Buckinghams” crazy. One ripped their lives apart, and Hope says the other one put their lives back together. She calls it a miracle. Liam says it’s his second favorite miracle, after getting Beth back. Hope says no one should have to go through that kind of pain. Especially not because of Reese’s gambling debts.

Grace insists that the surgery was necessary to save Liam’s life. Finn points out that he never saw the neuro team in Liam’s room, and all of the data came through Grace, not the team. She doesn’t understand why he’s asking questions, but he points out that he saw the MRI results she sent to Bill, and there are holes in the story, especially after finding out it cost a million dollars. He wonders if Liam ever had brain cancer at all.

Brooke and Liam enjoy their food, all presented by a personal chef. Ridge is at the docks, and he overhears some workers talking about Nick. Nick’s assistant says they have been working on Nick’s boat, but the steering is “no good,” so Ridge asks where the boat is and races off to find it.

Liam and Hope recall their harrowing experience when Beth was born and Reese stole their daughter, leading them to think she didn’t make it. But now his ex-wife is the one who saved Liam’s life. Liam wonders if it’s “cosmic payback” that Grace saved him. Hope can’t believe someone would do something “so heinous, all in the name of money.”

Grace says she’s too busy and she tries to leave, but Finn won’t let her leave. He says Grace hasn’t been herself for months, and she’s shaking. Grace knows Liam is important to him, and Finn says he’s grateful, but the story doesn’t add up. Plus, he looked at the incisions and they’re too small. His recovery was too fast. The neuro team also has no record of Liam having a brain tumor after his brain bleed.

Finn says Grace used to copy him on emails with Liam’s progress, but when he thinks back, he only ever saw Grace monitoring Liam’s treatment. Now he’s wondering if Liam ever had a brain tumor to begin with.

Nick pilots the boat out of the slip. Brooke is on the back of the boat, and he struggles with the steering from the start. Ridge leaves a frantic message on Brooke’s phone, warning her not to get on the boat, as Eric (John McCook), in his hotel room, realizes that he has to do something to find Brooke. Ridge, in the meantime, sees Nick’s boat heading out to sea.

Liam notes that as painful as all the Reese talk is, it reinforces how blessed they are to have Beth in their lives. He grasps Hope’s hand and says they’re blessed it came full circle. Hope calls Grace a saint and expresses her gratitude for everything Grace has done for their family. “I thank God we didn’t lose you,” she says.

Grace says she has an appointment. She’s visibly shaken as Finn points out the small incisions, the fast recovery and the missing records. Grace says all that matters is that Liam is going to live, but Finn says he was never sick to begin with. Grace breaks down in tears and says she had no choice, admitting, “I made the whole thing up.” She admits she made it all up because Reese and his gambling debts were threatening her girls, and they were at risk. She needed the money and was desperate to get it.

Ridge races along the boardwalk as Nick tries to steer the boat. He narrowly avoids a collision, but Brooke falls into the water. Ridge, without hesitation, dives into the water to save her.

In The Bold and the Beautiful preview for the week of August 4, we see Hope with Liam when he learns the truth about his health crisis. Will the revelation lead her to ditch Carter and return to Liam?

Hope (Annika Noelle) wanted to get back with Liam (Scott Clifton) after realizing she was happier with him than anyone else. Her relationship with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), at the time, was over and done after he “betrayed” her by returning Forrester Creations to the Forrester family and kissing Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire).

Liam, at the time, had just discovered his brain tumor after passing out at his father’s house. He was grappling with the realization that he only had a short time left, and so the timing of Hope’s advances was not the best. Liam decided that it would be better to push Hope back to Carter so that she would have him to help her when he was gone.

Now it looks like Liam isn’t going anywhere. Whether the tumor was actually removed or if it never existed to begin with remains to be seen, but the bottom line is that it doesn’t look like Liam is dying anytime soon.

With Daphne back in LA to continue her work at Forrester Creations, knowing that she’s still in love with Carter, is there a chance that Hope could ultimately make her way back to Liam?

At the moment, Hope and Carter seem to be very happily engaged. Carter had pledged to be Hope’s rock through Liam’s illness, and he certainly was, and we would fully expect that to continue. Knowing that Hope is there when Liam finds out the truth about his health makes us wonder if she’ll see his reaction and instantly start questioning everything.

If the whole reason she’s back with Carter is because Liam thought he was dying, does any of that change now that they know he’s going to live? Will all the time they’ve spent together, thinking every moment could be their last, end up triggering a reconciliation between them?

As happy as Hope seems to be with Carter at the moment, there’s no question that Daphne’s return to LA is more than intentional and will probably be the cause of Hope and Carter’s eventual breakup. Hope wanted to be with Liam, and Liam, without realizing Hope was dating Carter, wanted to get back together with her. It truly seems like all signs are pointing toward Hope and Liam getting back together.

We begin the week in Italy, where Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is stunned to see Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) at the fountain. He admits he was a “jerk” about her taking over the company. Brooke says he ran straight to Taylor. Ridge says they knew all along that they would be in each other’s lives, and he loves her. He will always love her. Brooke loves him, too, and she wonders if that’s why he came there.

Bill (Don Diamont) brings Liam (Scott Clifton) a glass of water and asks if he needs anything else. Liam jokes about world peace, and Bill says there’s nothing he wouldn’t do. Finn (Tanner Novlan) walks in and sees Liam on the couch and orders the patient to rest. Liam says he’s not planning on messing up his recovery, having “used up” all of his miracles. Bill says it was a miracle, courtesy of Dr. Grace Buckingham.

Grace (Cassandra Creech) ends a heated call, telling the caller to never bother her, or her daughters, ever again. She looks at her computer and we see a series of brain scans. She sighs.

Finn gives Liam a check-up and warns Liam to contact him with any sign of distress. Finn asks if Grace has mentioned physical therapy, but Bill says the fact that she hasn’t is a sign that it all worked. “Right, another miracle,” Finn says.

Grace snaps at the nurse bringing her new lab reports. She apologizes immediately, telling her that she’s “under a lot of pressure right now.”

Ridge tells Brooke he’s sorry for misunderstanding her, and he doesn’t want her to doubt that he cares about her. Brooke wants to know what he really wants to tell her. They’re interrupted by Nick (Jack Wagner), who says he and Brooke have plans to spend the day together.

Finn has so many questions about Liam’s treatment. It’s such a huge accomplishment that could cure all kinds of cancers, and he’s stunned that no one knows about it. Bill says Liam was one of the first to receive the treatment, but Finn says things like this take so much time to be researched. Liam is happy that he had a chance at the surgery, and Bill is glad he had the money for it. Finn is stunned to learn it cost a million dollars.

Grace tells Paris she loves her and there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her and her sister. She bids her daughter an emotional goodbye, then she goes to the computer and looks at the charts. She’s manipulating the data, deleting Liam’s scans entirely.

Eric (John McCook) wraps up a phone call. He’s looking for Ridge. His phone rings again, and it’s Donna (Jennifer Gareis), who misses her Honeybear. He reveals that Nick is in Naples and “he has an agenda” that includes Brooke and an engagement ring. And they were kissing. Donna asks if Ridge knows, and that’s why Eric needs to find Ridge. She agrees that it’s urgent.

Nick and Brooke enjoy melting gelato together, laughing as they lick it up before it spills. They’re having a good time.

Finn can’t believe Bill paid a million dollars for the surgery. Finn asks who he gave the money to, but Bill says time was of the essence, and he has no idea where the money went. He says Grace was upfront about the cost. Liam says it’s ironic that Grace was the one who saved him, given what the Buckingham family did to him and Hope and their baby.

Finn has talked to Steffy about the whole thing because Steffy bonded with Beth. He knows Steffy is grateful that she still has Beth in her life. Liam says it’s a twist that Reese Buckingham stole their daughter, and Grace gave him more time with her. “For a million dollars,” Finn muses.

Ridge walks into the hotel room, and he’s all worked up. He explains to his father that he told Brooke what Eric told him to say, but then Nick showed up. When he says she left with Nick, Eric says time is running out.

Nick shows off his new boat and asks Brooke if she’s “ready for a new adventure.”

At the hospital, Finn follows up about Liam and notes that there’s nothing in the system about Liam’s tumor. The only thing in the records is his brain bleed, but nothing else.

Liam says it was “cool” that Finn came to check on him. He’s also very aware of how lucky he is to have a father who could pay for the surgery. Bill is thankful he was able to help after what he did. Liam says the good news is they never have to deal with that again, and that Luna is dead and it’s over. Bill says they’ll never be able to forgive Grace for saving Liam’s life.

Grace thinks back to telling Finn about Liam’s brain tumor, that it’s inoperable, and it’s unusual in someone his age. Then she thinks about telling Bill that there’s a chance to save Liam for a million dollars. She thinks about Finn asking questions, just as Finn walks in. He says he was just at the Spencer Estate checking on Liam. She says it was nice for him to make a house call, but Finn reminds her that Liam is family. She says it’s lucky for Liam to have Finn, but Finn says it was lucky Bill had a million dollars. He wants answers.

Eric explains he saw Nick taking Brooke to the marina. It’s not just a cruise. Eric saw a ring and he thinks Nick is going to propose. Ridge is stunned.

Brooke wants to know about this adventure. Nick checks to make sure the boat is good to go and they have the green light. “Just the two of us,” Nick tells her.

The more Eric pushes Ridge to get back with Brooke on The Bold and the Beautiful, the angrier Ridge gets. Is Ridge capable of admitting his father is right about how he truly feels about Brooke?

We’ve talked before about Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) tendency to dig in his heels and stubbornly refuse to admit he’s wrong. Though the love triangle between Ridge, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) is ongoing, there’s no question that Ridge’s reasoning for jumping ship with Brooke is incredibly problematic.

Ridge refuses to admit that he left Brooke for Taylor based on a misunderstanding about her taking the CEO position during the takeover. (Ridge, check the timestamps on your text messages and you’ll see Brooke is telling the truth!) Instead of confronting her, Ridge decided to leave her and shack up with Taylor in the blink of an eye.

Taylor, sensing blood in the water, correctly surmised that Ridge is struggling with his decision, so she upped the ante and not only proposed to him, but she’s pressing him to set a date for their wedding to ensure that he doesn’t forget he’s engaged.

All the while, Eric (John McCook) has been pushing Ridge to see that he’s about to lose Brooke to Nick (Jack Wagner) if he’s not careful. In the August 1 episode, Eric gave his son a lecture about the fleeting nature of time and punctuated his little chat by adding that there’s a ticking clock counting down the moments until Brooke will be lost to Ridge yet again. If he doesn’t move quickly, that is.

Interestingly, Ridge does try to find Brooke, but she doesn't hear him knocking, and in the upcoming week, we’ll see that Ridge finds Brooke on a boat where he can’t reach her.

The one thing we likely won’t see is Ridge admitting that his father is right. Ridge knows it, and Eric knows it, but Ridge is too stubborn to admit that this whole thing is essentially his fault. He never should have left Brooke without an explanation. If he had talked to her, he would have found a loyal ally in the fight to restore the company to the family. Instead, Ridge doubled down and said hurtful things about Brooke and Hope (Annika Noelle) and made it all worse.

Eric probably knows he’ll never hear the words “you were right” from his son, but we’d like to think that Ridge is going to prove it through his actions as he realizes just how close he is to losing Brooke to his bitter rival.

We wrap up the week in Capri, where Nick (Jack Wagner) is thinking back to when Nick first met Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). He thinks about the compass he gave her in case she loses her way. “You can’t go through life alone,” he tells her, adding that she knows where to find him.

Brooke is in her hotel room thinking back to telling Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that she’s in a beautiful place with the man she loves but they’re not together. She pours a glass of water and reflects.

Eric (John McCook) tells Ridge that Brooke is hurting. “The clock is ticking,” Eric says. Nick is there and Ridge needs to stop taking Brooke for granted. Steffy and Thomas don’t need Ridge to marry Taylor. But Ridge needs to be with the one he loves most. Eric tells Ridge to think about time “and how fleeting it is.”

Bridget (Ashley Jones) finds Finn (Tanner Novlan) in his office. She asks if he’s found any answers about Liam’s miracle cure. Finn is determined to get answers. They don’t know anything, and Finn can’t even get his hands on medical records. He’s thrilled that Liam is going to live, but “something’s not adding up.”

Ridge tells Eric that he knows exactly what he wants. Eric says Ridge is choosing a safe and predictable life with Taylor instead of being with a woman who makes his heart race, who fulfills him. He tells Ridge to stop punishing Brooke for what happened at work. She did it to protect him, to protect all of them. And he needs to get over it and do something about it.

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) gets off the phone as Katie (Heather Tom) walks in looking for Donna. Katie asks how Taylor is holding up while Brooke and Ridge are away.

Ridge goes to Brooke’s hotel room and knocks, but she’s listening to music. He leaves. Eric, in the meantime, is out taking in the sights and he spots Nick in the distance admiring a ring.

Bridget agrees with Finn. She wants answers, too, but she’s grateful for the surgery that saved Liam’s life. Finn happens to spot Grace (Cassandra Creech) walking by and she comes into the office, claiming to be very busy. But it’s time for answers.

Taylor insists that Nick loves Brooke and Brooke loves him. She even points out that Brooke will never have to question his love the way she does with Ridge. Her future happiness is with Nick.

Eric knocks on Brooke’s door and tells him she hasn’t seen Ridge. He asks how she’s doing and she says she’s good. How else could she be anything but wonderful in Italy? Eric saw how unhappy she was in Capri and he admits he’s frustrated with Ridge. He knows she’s upset and he warns her to not be vulnerable with Nick around. He knows things haven’t gone the way she’s wanted them to, but there’s still time for Ridge to come around. Brooke says she needs to clear her head and Eric offers to join her, but she needs some time alone. And then she’s going to meet Nick. She kisses Eric’s cheek and leaves him with a ciao.

Finn wants to know why there’s no information about the procedure or the doctor who assisted her. Grace says she will share everything with them in due time but she’s busy. “You’ll just have to trust me,” she tells Finn. She leaves and Finn and Bridget share incredulous looks.

Katie wonders if Taylor is upset with Eric for trying to get Brooke and Ridge back together, first with the fashion show and then with the Italy trip. Taylor isn’t fazed in the least, saying that she’s engaged to Ridge and maybe when Brooke comes back she’ll be engaged, too.

Brooke sends Nick a text. He gets the message and hurries off to meet her.

Katie knows that Taylor would love it if Brooke and Nick were engaged. Taylor wonders if Katie doubts Nick’s power of persuasion, adding that nothing is going to come between her and Ridge. She thinks Nick will see that, too.

Brooke is waiting for Nick, but she’s thinking about Ridge and their ride across the water in the boat. She’s thinking about all of their times in Italy together, including the cannon firing to give them a sign. And then there was Ridge looking through the keyhole to find her and their sweet moment that followed.

She dabs a tear from her eye as she waits for Nick, but it’s Ridge who walks up and touches her arm.

Liam (Scott Clifton) has been recovering at a remarkable pace, but no one has seen much from Grace (Cassandra Creech), leading Finn (Tanner Novlan) to ask questions about what really happened with his previously "inoperable tumor."

Eric (John McCook) has made no secret of his desire for Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to reunite with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) in Italy, and he's not happy that Nick (Jack Wagner) is there to stir up trouble.

Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) is back in LA and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is happy, in a platonic sense, to see her. But does Daphne want to be friends or is she still hoping for something more?

Here's the look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week:

In the look-ahead preview, Grace begs Finn to keep "this" between them. The "this" we think she's referring to is that Liam never had brain cancer and that she's been conning him this whole time in hopes of extorting money from Bill (Don Diamont), something we wrote about earlier. Finn, of course, isn't having it. Why would he put his whole career on the line to protect Grace?

The next scene reveals Finn and Grace are at Bill's house and Finn tells her to explain the truth about his cancer to Liam and Hope (Annika Noelle).

Li (Naomi Matsuda) is still pulling for Luna (Lisa Yamada) to wake up. She refuses to believe that this could really be the end for the young double murderer.

Eric tells Ridge that he saw Nick with a ring. If Ridge doesn't act soon, he's going to lose Brooke forever. Naturally, as Ridge goes to stop Brooke (who is posing on a boat), something happens that causes alarm for Nick, who steers away as boat horns blare.

Now, we can think of two scenarios here. Either Nick heard Ridge and is trying to drown out his voice with the horn, or something is happening and Brooke is in danger. Either way, Ridge is going to have to watch from the sidelines as Brooke sails toward a future that might not include him.

We begin today in Italy, where Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) tries to leave but Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) won’t let her. She doesn't know why she came to Italy with him when they have so many beautiful memories together.

Eric (John McCook) tells Nick (Jack Wagner) that the post-fashion show luncheon is a private event. Nick jokes that it was hard to find, but he promises not to stay long. Still, Eric wants to know what he wants.

Electra (Laneya Grace) imagines what it would have been like for them to go to Italy. Will (Crew Morrow) agrees. They look at pictures of Brooke on the runway and Will insists that Electra should be there representing the company.

Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) begs Li (Naomi Matsuda) to listen to her. She knows Luna (Lisa Yamada) made mistakes but she’s still Finn’s daughter and their granddaughter. She wants to know where she can go to say goodbye. Li’s face shifts as she hears Sheila’s plea. Somewhere, Luna is still sleeping in the hospital bed.

Electra could never be a model, she says, but Will says she designs jewelry that’s as beautiful as she is. Will gets a text, relieved it will never be Luna bothering them ever again.

Sheila insists she’s not the enemy. She tried to help Luna when no one else was there for her. She just wants to mourn her. Li says there’s nothing she can do.

Brooke says it’s too hard being in Italy where people are constantly asking for pictures of her and Ridge together. She’s just going to run off with Nick and forget she ever met Ridge. Ridge, for his part, looks stunned.

Will knew Luna was dangerous but had no idea how “unhinged” she was. Electra points out that Luna pulled a gun on him, and he remembers how Electra stood up for him all by herself. She says he could have been shot like his brother. Will says he never would have let Luna hurt her. Electra says everything is ok, and “Luna is gone forever.”

Li says no one asked Sheila to do more for Luna, but Sheila was Luna's grandmother and everyone turned against her. She urged Luna to make a better life for herself, and she’s mourning her. Li’s food arrives but Li leaves without her food, having lost her appetite. Deacon (Sean Kanan) arrives as Li walks out and asks Sheila if she said anything about Luna. Sheila is deep in thought.

Eric knows Nick is there for Brooke, but Nick points out that Ridge and Taylor are living in his house while he brought Ridge and Brooke to Italy to get them back together.

Ridge says everything will be all right. Brooke says Nick wants to sweep her off her feet. Ridge wants her too, and he looks at her with so much passion and desire… the way Ridge used to look at her.

Electra gets chills talking about Luna, knowing she’s dead. Will calls it karma. Electra can’t believe Luna was related to someone as loving as Finn. How did his long lost daughter become so different? Will is glad Luna is gone, out of their lives for good. “I think it’s ok to feel good about that.”

Deacon asks if Sheila got into a fight with Li. Sheila says Li wouldn’t answer her questions and she can’t let it go. Deacon asks what happened, and Sheila says she was there with Luna when Li wasn’t. Deacon reminds Sheila that she almost died and he almost lost his wife. He points out that everyone grieves in a different way. All Sheila wanted was to see Luna and say goodbye, and then Li got “huffy.” Deacon wonders if Li resents how things were between Sheila and Luna. Sheila tells Deacon that she can’t put her finger on it, “but something is very off with Li.”

Li checks Luna’s vitals; there’s no change. She tells the sleeping young woman that she used to sit with her while she was sleeping and she can see that innocent little girl now. How can someone so innocent back then cause so much pain? “Open your eyes, Luna,” she says.

Nick knows Eric arranged the whole trip to get Brooke and Ridge together. Eric feels bad that Taylor is in the middle of it all, but Brooke belongs with Ridge. Nick says it’s sad that Eric thinks he’s helping Brooke when he doesn’t see the truth. Eric walks away, but not before telling him to leave Brooke alone.

Brooke and Ridge are on the dock. Brooke tells Ridge that she can’t be in that place with him. It’s causing her so much pain. Nick walks up and asks Ridge how Brooke could look so beautiful but be so miserable. Ridge isn’t happy to see him at all.

Deacon says this is all a very weird situation. Luna is Sheila and Li's granddaughter but she’s also a violent criminal. Deacon wonders if Li is relieved that Luna is gone, but Sheila doesn’t understand why Li is keeping her in the dark. She didn’t know Luna long, but they had a connection and she cared for her. She knows Deacon will never forgive Luna for killing their friends, but Sheila sees her good side and it reminds her of Finn.

Sheila thinks back to the fond memories she has of Luna and the times when they laughed together. “Now I’m never going to hear her laugh again,” she says.

Li begs Luna to keep fighting. She knows Luna never had a chance, having been raised by Poppy and neglected. “No wonder you spun out of control,” she remarks. She apologizes for not being more involved in Luna’s life but she’s there now and she won’t let Luna die.

Nick says they’re in the middle of paradise and it should be about love and joy. Ridge tells him they’re fine and he can leave, but Nick looks at Brooke and asks what she wants. He says this is her chance to “jump off the merry-go-round” with Ridge and come with him instead. Nick extends his hand, and Ridge watches as Brooke takes it and they walk away.

Thus far, Sheila has been keeping up her end of the bargain on The Bold and the Beautiful. She’s staying away from Finn, Steffy and their family in an attempt to prove she's changed. But as questions about Luna’s death pile up, will Sheila turn to Finn for help?

Something isn’t adding up about Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) death and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) knows it.

Sheila was startled when Li (Naomi Matsuda) showed up at Il Giardino after Luna’s death. The bitter enemies haven’t had a civil conversation in recent memory, so Li’s presence caught Sheila off guard and led her to think that they were bonding, ever so slightly, over the loss of their granddaughter.

However, in the July 30 episode Li shows up to pick up her lunch and Sheila once again gets the cold shoulder. Li not only buried Luna without letting anyone see her, and now she’s back to being cold and callous toward Sheila? It’s not making any sense.

We think Sheila will visit Finn (Tanner Novlan) and see if he has any ideas about what’s going on with Li. It’s at that point that Sheila will learn that Li has taken a leave of absence from the hospital and all of a sudden things will simultaneously make more, and less, sense.

Sheila knows that Li once kept Finn away from prying eyes after he’d been shot. Nevermind, of course, that Sheila was the one who shot her own son. Sheila also knows that Li loves her work, so taking a leave of absence makes no sense at all. And if Finn’s in the dark about Luna and his mother’s sudden shift in behavior, then it’s going to point to something strange going on.

If anyone in the world could draw conclusions about strange happenings, it’s Sheila. Sheila, after all, has done just about everything from shooting family members to cutting off her own toe, and the fact that no one saw Luna’s body is going to raise all kinds of alarm bells for former nurse Sheila.

At this point, Sheila is the only person who cares enough about Luna to ask questions, and we’re willing to bet that after getting some important insight from Finn, Sheila will start putting pieces together very quickly about what really happened to her granddaughter.

No one warned me when I started covering soaps a few years back that I'd become so invested in the stories that missing an episode or two (or three or four) could really throw me off. So now we want to know how you deal with missed episodes of your favorite soap by voting in our poll below, or leave a comment if you don't see a response that matches your strategy.

I'll admit, early on in my soaps coverage days, I wasn't as worried about missing an episode here or there. But unlike network or cable TV shows with a new episode every week, soaps air every day and a missed episode can throw off the whole experience if something big happens while you were away.

It was one thing when I only covered The Bold and the Beautiful. Catching up on the half-hour soap was easy, even if I sat and watched all of the episodes back to back so that I was on track once again. Adding Days of Our Lives to the mix complicated things because trying to catch up on an hour-long show can be challenging if you've missed more than one or two.

Recently I attended San Diego Comic-Con and missed a few episodes of the daytime dramas I cover. My plan had been to watch them upon returning home each night from the pop culture confab. While sitting in the press room working on an article, my esteemed What to Watch colleague sent me a message that something big happened on B&B and I was instantly filled with FOMO. Was I missing a big story? Should I watch right away?

Trying to catch up on one show was hard enough, but catching up on missed episodes, while staying on top of new episodes, was downright challenging.

Since B&B is shorter, I was able to watch those episodes but for Days I turned to a mix of reading recaps, watching clips and scouring social media for the big events everyone was talking about. In some cases I went back and watched key events in the episode.

Now, I realize that in my case it's a bit different. I write about soaps for a living so I need to stay on top of what's happening. If that wasn't the case, I'm not sure I'd feel so much pressure to catch up.

Brooke confronts Ridge in Italy while Sheila asks questions about Luna in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 30, 2025.

We begin today in Italy, where Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) are on a boat together checking out the beautiful Amalfi Coast. She beams at him as he drives, and smiles back, pointing out different things to look at. It’s a romantic moment even though they’re not together anymore.

Once they arrive at the dock, they’re welcomed to Capri by Eric (John McCook) and famed Italian designer Louisa Beccaria. Ridge is so thrilled to be working with Louisa as Brooke praises her designs. The fashion show is about to start.

Deacon (Sean Kanan) finds Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) deep in thought at Il Giardino and asks if she’s thinking about her missing toe. Sheila says she’s missing her granddaughter.

Li (Naomi Matsuda) looks down at Luna (Lisa Yamada) while she sleeps in her makeshift hospital bed at an undisclosed location. “I’m not going to let you die, Luna,” she says.

Nick (Jack Wagner) gets news about the boat. It’s still not ready, which is very frustrating.

Backstage, Eric confesses to Ridge that he saw Brooke and Nick kissing on the rooftop the night before. He tells his son that Nick isn’t messing around and Ridge needs to make a commitment to her before it’s too late, even though Ridge insists he’s happy with Taylor. “Seize the day,” Eric says. “You never know what tomorrow will bring.”

Brooke is in the hair and makeup chair when Ridge walks in. She’s in a robe getting ready for the show. He tells Brooke it’s almost a perfect day, spoiled by Nick’s presence. Brooke says Nick is making an effort to be with her and she rebuffs Ridge’s attempts to dissuade her from seeing him.

Nick, boatless, finds someone to drive him to Louisa’s boutique for the show. He hops in a convertible and they take off.

Sheila says she wanted to say goodbye to Luna. Deacon asks if she talked to Li, but Sheila says Li won't return her calls and texts. It’s not fair, she says, upset that she couldn’t be part of Luna’s final arrangements. “I have a right to know where my granddaughter is,” she says. Oh, Sheila, you have no idea. It turns out Luna isn’t dead after all, as we see as Li checks the machines keeping her alive.

Nick’s on his way to the show, winding through the hillside roads. Brooke looks around for him as the show begins. The fashions are incredible, especially with the Italian coast serving as the backdrop. The audience claps as the models walk down the runway.

Brooke appears as the final look of the event. She smiles as Eric and Louisa watch her walking down the runway. The crowd goes wild as she spins around and the wind catches her chiffon outfit. Ridge can’t take his eyes off of her.

Sheila tries calling Li again. Deacon points out that Li is a doctor and she could be with a patient. Sheila knew she wasn’t going to be best friends with Li, but Li’s the one who came to the restaurant. All Sheila wants is to pay her final respects and Li is denying her.

Li, in the meantime, is busy trying to get Luna to wake up. After administering more medicine, she urges her granddaughter to open her eyes.

Nick rushes up to Luisa Beccaria’s boutique and asks about the show, but it’s not happening there. He hurries off to find her, hoping he’s not too late.

After the show, the press asks questions about the designs. The buyers are going wild and eager to place their orders. When photographers ask for more pictures of Brooke and Ridge together, they oblige. But when Ridge is asked if news of his engagement to Taylor is true, Brooke’s smile fades.

Li walks into Il Giardino to pick up her food, surprising Sheila. Sheila says she knows they won’t be friends but she hoped to hear from her. Li is dismissive, but when Sheila says she wants to “visit her” it catches Li off guard. Sheila says she has a right to know what Li did with Lunda and to be able to visit her grave.

Brooke receives praise for the showstopper gown during the last fashion show, with the photographers noting that it reminds them of the show in Portofino. Brooke has to step away, with Ridge following. He asks if she’s all right and she says it’s impossible for her to be all right given everything that’s happened.

Nick walks in and Eric spots him. Eric tells him he’s not welcome to the private event, but Nick insists that one of the VIPs will be happy to be there.

As Brooke walks away, Ridge urges her to come back to the luncheon. Brooke says she’s going crazy with their on-again, off-again relationship. He says it’s hurting him, but she says “it’s torture for me.” She doesn’t know why she came to Italy knowing how many beautiful memories there are between them. When she says she has to go, he stops her. “You’re not leaving,” he says.

Bill has been on an apology tour on The Bold and the Beautiful as of late, but what will happen when he finds out that Grace used him for money?

Bill (Don Diamont) is finally getting back to being the Dollar Bill everyone knows and loves. The media tycoon, though rough around the edges and cutthroat in the boardroom, loves his sons and will do anything for them. That got lost while Luna (Lisa Yamada) and Poppy (Romy Park) were in his life, but he’s trying to atone for his mistakes by doing everything possible to save Liam’s (Scott Clifton) life — even ponying up a million dollars for a highly experimental surgery.

However, it looks like Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) may have been taking the millionaire for a ride, and she used his son to make it happen.

We’ve talked about how far back Grace’s deception goes; it’s quite possible she saw an opportunity to make money as soon as the Spencer heir came into the hospital with a head injury. All it would take is some fake scans created in his name and the words “inoperable tumor” attached to it to trick Liam, his friends and Grace’s colleagues. Why would anyone think to question her authority on his diagnosis?

Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget (Ashley Jones) are now questioning what really happened with Liam, and they’re not going to rest until they have answers. Grace has been avoiding everyone, but she can only stay away so long.

At the moment, Bill thinks Liam has been saved by a miracle cure. He never stopped to think that the miraculous surgery took place outside a hospital, that his son was sent home the same day he had brain surgery and he had to wire a million dollars into the doctor’s account for it to happen.

After apologizing for getting Luna out of jail, a decision that led to Liam being shot, Bill is focused on atonement. The saving grace (no pun intended) is that he thinks Grace saved Liam’s life. Imagine what he’s going to do if he finds out that isn’t really the case.

There are two possible outcomes here. Either Liam was never sick to begin with and he was only suffering the aftereffects of his head trauma, or he truly does have an inoperable brain tumor and Grace only pretended to remove it. If Liam was never sick, then he can go back to living his life. If he still has a tumor, though, then he’s still dying while everyone — including him — thinks he’s been healed.

When Bill catches wind of this treachery, he’s going to be furious. Unlike working to get Luna released from prison, which was all his fault, this time around someone took advantage of him and put his son’s life in danger. That’s not going to fly with Protective Papa Bill.

Only time will tell what Grace is really up to, and heaven help her if Bill finds out she played him.

Did The Bold and the Beautiful just throw a giant wrench into the plot machine now that Finn is starting to ask questions about Liam’s condition? Did Grace make up the whole thing?

We have some thoughts about whatever is going on with Grace (Cassandra Creech). What if she manufactured Liam’s (Scott Clifton) entire illness to extort money from Bill (Don Diamont) for whatever it is that she needs a million dollars for?

Here’s what we know: Liam, after fighting with Bill, fell and hit his head and ended up in the care of Grace. While at the hospital, Grace allegedly discovered a brain tumor that was going to ultimately kill Liam. Prior to this incident, Liam hadn’t been exhibiting any symptoms, so other than passing out and subsequently hitting his head (twice, we might add), there were no indications that he was sick.

Upon examination, Liam was told he has an inoperable brain tumor. He made a decision that he didn’t want to tell anyone, and every attempt Grace made to offer treatment went ignored because of Liam’s fear of side effects. Thinking back, Grace’s increasing desperation appeared to be concern for Liam’s wellbeing, but what if she was trying to get him locked in on treatment so she could get money from him?

Remember the time in Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) office when he asked her about the frustrated calls and text messages, believing she was dealing with complicated family situations? What if the person she was dealing with back then is the same person who was calling to ensure the million dollar wire transfer went through before the surgery?

Now, for all of this to work, Grace would have had to do some quick thinking. As soon as Liam came in with a head injury, she would have needed to find some brain scans that reveal a tumor, and she’d have to make sure she was present in all areas of his care to avoid exposure. Sure, it’s a stretch, but when you think about it, why would Finn or Bridget (Ashley Jones) question the authenticity of the scans Grace showed them? There would be no reason to question them even if they took him to the MRI machine themselves and watched the results pop up onscreen.

Now that Finn saw the incisions in the July 28 episode, he’s going to start thinking back to Liam’s condition and treatment. Liam seems to be feeling good, which could be attributed to the fact that there was nothing wrong with him in the first place. Maybe the drugs Grace put him on were placebos, or depressants designed to make him feel bad when he was actually on the mend.

There’s something questionable about this whole situation with Grace and Liam. At first it was the surgery that seemed sketchy, but now we’re starting to question the whole brain tumor scenario from the very beginning.

The Italy trip begins, but trouble is brewing back home in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 29, 2025.

We begin today in Italy, where Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric (John McCook) agree that the Amalfi Coast is gorgeous. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) drives a convertible to the hotel, where a crowd has gathered to greet them.

Nick (Jack Wagner) meets up with his boat manager, who promises that the boat will be ready for his “special plans” the following day.

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) gets a text from Ridge saying they’ve arrived. Donna (Jennifer Gareis) says Italy is one of her favorite places to be. But she misses her Honeybear, and Taylor misses Ridge, too.

Finn (Tanner Novlan) sees Li (Naomi Matsuda) walking by his office, and she has a box with her. She tells him she’s taking a leave of absence for a while. Finn reminds her that she loves working, so he wants to know what’s really going on. Li says that everything that happened with Luna took a toll, and she needs some time.

Donna and Taylor study pictures of their loved ones and wish they were there. Taylor says they’ll be there on the next trip when it’s not all about business. Taylor wonders if Nick will be crashing the party, and Donna admits she hasn’t heard Nick’s name in a long time.

Taylor says he’s taking over Marone Industries, taking over the whole fleet. They marvel at how he washed up on shore and changed their lives. They both remember the Shady Marlin, the boat where Nick and Brooke were married. Donna wonders if they could have a future again. She doesn’t know how her sister is feeling about him. While she wants her sister to be happy, she knows Ridge is the only man who can make her happy. “Sorry,” she adds.

At the hotel, Brooke is welcomed to the town in front of excited onlookers. At the dock, Nick tells his boat manager that he has a special date planned. His manager says that if you kiss your partner while going under the rocks, your love will last forever. “That’s the plan,” Nick agrees.

There’s a rooftop reception for the Forrester team while they wait for their room. “Let the magic of Italy begin,” Eric says.

Finn asks if Li needs help moving out of her office, and he wonders why she didn’t mention it. Is she unhappy at the hospital? Li says it’s time to step away for a bit, then she pivots to ask about Steffy taking some time away, too. “At least it’s only temporary,” she says. Finn knows Steffy will be home, after Luna almost made it so that he’d never see her again. Li frowns.

Donna marvels that Nick could be in Naples at the same time, and she asks Taylor if she’s sure he’ll be there. Taylor says Brooke keeps forgetting that Ridge is engaged, which leads Donna to see that Taylor is hoping Nick shows up to keep Brooke busy and away from Ridge.

There’s a problem with the boat, which means Nick is having trouble getting his plans in motion. He looks up and sees Brooke on the rooftop. “Let the fun begin,” he says.

Eric addresses the crowd, telling everyone that they’re going to have a wonderful time in Naples.

Finn asks how long Li will be away and whether she’ll be in town. Li hasn’t figured it all out. She’s focused on getting some rest and reading a book. Finn can’t believe she’s taking a vacation on a whim, to which Li says it’s more than time. She grabs her things and leaves, adding there’s something she needs to do that she should have done a long time ago.

Donna says Brooke has more class than Taylor gives her credit for. Donna reminds her that Ridge and Nick don’t get along at all, but she has to admit that Nick is “quite the romantic.” Taylor hopes he pulls out all the stops, and she knows they would make a great couple. Donna jokes that Taylor bought the plane ticket for Nick herself.

Ridge is looking out over the water when he sees a Marone boat. He joins Brooke, who is talking to some fans about their inspiration. They take a picture together, then Ridge excuses himself. Eric goes over the details of his plan for Capri with his intern. Brooke is looking at the marina when Nick walks up. “Ciao, bella!” he says.

Li walks into her apartment, which is full of medical supplies. The box she was carrying was also full of supplies. She pulls a curtain and there’s an IV stand, which she adjusts. Then she looks at her patient. It’s Luna (Lisa Yamada), only now she’s blonde. Li looks concerned.

Taylor explains that Nick came to her for advice on Brooke. It shouldn’t be that confusing, given that Taylor is wearing an engagement ring. She truly wants what’s best for Brooke, which Donna points out is a relationship with Nick, not Ridge. “Ridge has moved on,” Taylor says, adding that they’re planning their wedding. She suggests that Donna get on board the Nick-Brooke reunion, but Donna says that Nick isn’t Brooke’s first choice. Taylor says if Brooke wants happiness, it has to be with Nick.

Brooke is thrilled to see Nick and says she might be able to squeeze him in. He’s not taking no for an answer. Eric watches as Nick kisses Brooke, and they smile at each other with Italy in the background.

Finn makes a startling discovery in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 28, 2025.

We begin the week on a sunny day in Malibu, where Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) asks Finn (Tanner Novlan) if he minds that she’s getting out of LA to “recharge” and take some much-needed time away. “Take it,” he says, reminding her how much he loves her.

Bill (Don Diamont) asks the nurse how Liam (Scott Clifton) is doing. The nurse is “impressed” with how well he’s doing. Liam credits modern medicine, and Bill says he’s grateful for cash. Liam asks what he means.

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric (John McCook) get their things together before their flight. Eric once again reminds Ridge that this is a chance to get back with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Meanwhile, in the design office, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) is reminding Brooke that she has plans and a future with Ridge and nothing will get in their way, not even her.

Steffy says she’s going to miss Finn. They tell each other that they’re everything to each other before sharing a kiss.

Liam wants to know how much Bill spent, and he finally realizes that Bill spent a million dollars on something he didn’t know would work. “Liam, money doesn’t matter to me. You do,” Bill says.

Eric reminds Ridge that Nick is “circling Brooke like a shark,” and Ridge looks uncomfortable.

Brooke insists that this is a business trip, but Taylor asks how many Brooke’s Bedroom pieces she packed. Brooke tells her she’s awfully insecure for a woman wearing an engagement ring. Taylor is nonplussed, telling Brooke to save the game for someone else. She leaves, and Nick walks in, asking if that was Taylor “leaving in a huff.” He is about to leave, and he shows her his passport as a reminder that he’ll be in Italy, too. Brooke smiles.

Steffy says she wouldn’t leave town if Liam weren’t doing well. Finn says the MRI “seems” to indicate that he’s doing well, but Grace won’t get back to him, and it feels like she’s avoiding him. Steffy knows he’ll get to the bottom of it.

Bill says he needs to talk to Liam now that they’re through this. “I love you, son, and I’m so proud of the man you are, and the father you are. If you had left this world, the best of me would have gone with you,” he says, saying that he’s always battled the worst aspect of his personality. He never should have tried to mold Liam into his own image. He knows his armor helps him in business, but it has destroyed his personal life and he’s glad Liam pushed back. He pushed back about Luna, and he was “spot on” about her. He’s so grateful that Liam survived because he wouldn’t have survived having to bury his son. “I love you, Liam,” Bill says. They share an emotional hug.

Taylor finds Ridge in the CEO office and kisses him without saying a word. After they pull apart, she says it’s to remind him that she’ll miss him.

Nick says they can have fun in Italy. Brooke has to travel with Ridge and Eric, but he makes her promise that her “favorite sea captain” can fit into her schedule so they can get out on the water. Eric walks in as Nick kisses her and says he’ll see her in Naples. Eric looks upset.

Nick takes a business call in another office, and Eric finds him. When he ends the call, he asks how Eric is doing. Eric knows Nick is trying to get Brooke, and he doesn’t want him to interfere. Nick blames Ridge for marrying Taylor, leading Eric to tell Nick to stay away from Naples.

Steffy walks in to say goodbye to her parents, who agree she needs some time away. They ask for updates from her, and she asks the same from them. She says she’s so happy having a great marriage, great kids, Liam healthy and parents who are back together. Steffy knows Brooke will try to get back together, but she has faith in Ridge.

Finn walks in on Bill and Liam to see how Liam is doing. Liam thanks Finn for taking care of him since he’s not really his patient. Bill gets a meeting reminder and has to leave. He stops to say something to Liam and pauses. “I love you, too, Dad,” Liam says.

Liam tells Finn about all of his visitors, including Sheila. Liam credits Sheila for taking a bullet to save Steffy, but Finn credits Liam. Finn asks if Liam has gotten any more information from Grace about the surgery. Liam hasn’t heard anything, so Finn asks to check the incisions. Finn checks under the bandages and comes away looking very concerned, leading Liam to wonder what’s wrong.

Brooke walks into the office and says that Deuce says the plane is ready. She greets Steffy and Taylor and says the trip will be interesting. Eric walks in and says Naples is waiting. Steffy hugs Ridge, and then Taylor gives him a big kiss.

Nick pulls up photos of Capri and thinks back to his adventures with Brooke. He thinks back to his memories and smiles. “A new chapter. A new life for us, Brooke, and it starts in Italy,” he says.

Liam asks what’s wrong, and Grace (Cassandra Creech) walks in as Finn says that the incisions were smaller than he would have expected. She ducks outside before she’s seen while Finn explains that they should have been bigger. Liam asks if that’s a good thing for the healing process, citing his strong vitals and good progress. Finn is puzzled that Grace hasn’t been there to check on him. Liam admits he feels “weirdly fine” in a short amount of time. “It’s unbelievable,” Finn agrees. Outside, Grace looks panicked.

We begin today at Forrester Creations, where Eric (John McCook) continues to pressure Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) about Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). “Life is short,” Eric says, reminding Ridge that he learned you have to hang onto love because tomorrow may never come. Ridge says he loves Taylor, but Eric says Brooke is the love of his life, and the trip to Italy is their chance. If he wastes it, he may lose Brooke for the rest of his life. Brooke walks in and asks if she’s interrupting.

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) asks Nick (Jack Wagner) about his trip to Naples. She jokes that he has business all over the world, so she knows he’s going there for Brooke. He smiles.

Finn (Tanner Novlan) is still trying to reach Grace, but she’s not answering his calls. He leaves another message as Bridget (Ashley Jones) walks in. Bridget also has questions for Grace and this mysterious procedure.

The nurse checks on Liam (Scott Clifton) and tells Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he’s doing “surprisingly well.” Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) walks in on crutches and sees Steffy. She starts to leave, but Steffy asks her to come back.

Bridget and Finn are so confused about the surgery and why Grace hasn’t been around since. Finn has questions about how she pulled it off.

Sheila is stunned that Steffy doesn’t want her to leave. “I’m actually glad you’re here,” Steffy says, noting that the last time they saw each other, she got shot trying to save her. Sheila says Liam got the worst of it, but Steffy is grateful for what she did. “I just want to say thank you,” Steffy says.

Taylor calls it “lucky” that Nick is going to be in Naples at the same time as Brooke. Taylor asks for a favor, telling him it’s something he’ll like because it has to do with Brooke.

Ridge assures Brooke that she’s not interrupting anything. Eric praises Italy’s passion and romance, noting that those are two things that Brooke and Ridge know a lot about.

Nick is curious about Taylor’s request for a favor. She admits she has a “long history” with Brooke, and Nick knows he was part of it. Taylor asks Nick to keep an eye on Brooke while she’s in Italy with Ridge.

Brooke agrees with Eric that she feels alive in Italy. Ridge asks if Eric is “overselling” Italy, but Eric says “the heart wants what the heart wants.” Eric gives them some time alone, saying it’s going to be a “transformative trip.” They laugh at his subtlety, but Brooke tells Ridge that the heart wants what the heart wants.

Finn and Bridget don’t understand how Grace could perform a surgery on Liam when he was in such a delicate situation, but Bridget eventually wonders if Grace knew there wasn’t enough time to wait. Even so, Finn just wants to ask her some questions.

Sheila asks if this means all is forgiven between them. Steffy won’t go that far, but she will concede that she appreciates what Sheila did. Luna tried to kill her, and she knows Sheila wanted her gone, too. She knows they could have gotten what they wanted by getting Steffy out of the picture, but she risked her life trying to save her, and it’s not something Steffy will ever forget.

Bridget knows Bill was trying to save Liam’s life, and Grace must have told him they had to move within a day. Finn understands what she’s saying, but there are still so many questions.

Sheila won’t overstay her welcome, but she wanted to make sure Liam was ok. She knows Luna was troubled, and she hoped she would turn her life around, but she couldn’t. Liam is glad Luna can’t hurt anyone anymore. As she moves to leave, Steffy asks about her foot, and Sheila decides to show them. She props her foot on the bed, revealing a big gap between her big toe and the next two toes. “They can’t call me Sheila Nine Toes anymore because I’m Sheila Eight Toes,” she says, telling them they have to laugh at it. Liam and Steffy don’t look so sure.

Nick asks Taylor if she wants him to spy on Brooke and Ridge, admitting that his spy skills are rusty. Taylor knows Brooke will go after what she wants, which means Ridge. She needs someone to look after her own interests, especially since they want the same thing: to keep Brooke away from Ridge. Taylor calls the idea “comforting.” Nick says he’s going to think about it.

Ridge tells Brooke that Eric is playing matchmaker. Brooke says they’re meant to be together, and they all know it. Hopefully, the trip will bring that back into focus. Ridge says he’s building a life with Taylor. Brooke says his relationship is built on a misunderstanding. She loves him so much and asks him to think about sitting together at a cafe, ordering pizza and chianti. They’ll go back to the hotel and “do what we do best, we’ll love each other.” She smiles at him.

Brooke keeps offering imaginary scenarios to Ridge, who says it can’t happen. “You can’t have dinner with me?” she asks. She wants to know when he’s going to come to his senses. Taylor walks up to the door and hears Brooke telling Ridge that he’ll never love Taylor the way he loves her. She wants them to work things out. Brooke says that if Ridge won’t have dinner with her, Nick will. “It should be you,” Brooke tells him. And he knows it should be her, too. Taylor closes her eyes.

Liam calls Steffy and Sheila’s conversation “interesting,” noting that seeing her foot was the “can’t-miss event of the season.” Steffy says she hasn’t made any plans when it comes to forgiveness. Steffy says she’s thinking about taking Kelly and Hayes out of town for some time to recover from the stress of the past few months. Liam says that he has more time now, and he’ll be there when she comes back, and they can put it all behind them. She tells him how much she loves him.

Finn keeps looking at Liam’s scans, wondering what really happened to him.

Brooke grabs her purse in the design office. Taylor walks in and asks if Brooke is packing. She says they were going to have dinner before their flight. Brooke says Ridge has a lot to do before they leave, so he’s not available. Taylor asks if Brooke understands what that means. “Ridge is with me, and there’s nothing you can do in Italy to change that. Nothing is coming between Ridge and me.”

We begin today at the Spencer Estate, where Liam (Scott Clifton) looks at his get well card and assures Kelly that he’s ok while Bill (Don Diamont) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) look on. The nurse reveals that his vital signs are good, and he credits Kelly and Beth. Bill says his little girls are what gives him strength. Steffy can’t believe it, but she has to admit that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is a hero, too.

Deacon (Sean Kanan) walks into Il Giardino to find Sheila playing games with the staff. He tells a foot joke, which makes her laugh. When Finn (Tanner Novlan) walks in, she looks surprised to see him. He says he wanted to check on her and to thank her for what she did to protect Steffy. She looks at Deacon, who smiles at her. Sheila looks thrilled.

Katie (Heather Tom) can’t believe Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) told Ridge that she wants to bring Nick on her work trip. She tells her sister that he wasn’t happy about it.

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is in the office with Eric (John McCook) when he gets some paperwork from the shipping department. It has been stuck on Nick’s ship because he was messing with Ridge. Ridge pledges to protect the people he cares about.

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) welcomes Nick (Jack Wagner) into Eric’s house. After greeting each other with jokes and pleasantries, he says he needs her “take” on something as a “woman involved with Ridge.” She reminds him that they’re engaged, and he thinks that’s enough to end Brooke’s pursuit of Ridge.

Kelly tells Liam that she loved their father-daughter dance. Bill suggests that he and Kelly go to the kitchen for a snack so Steffy can have time with Liam. Liam can’t believe Kelly almost lost both of her parents on the same day. He recalls that the first thing he saw was Sheila on the floor, shot by her own granddaughter.

Sheila can’t fathom the idea that Finn is there to thank her, but he wants to express his gratitude for what she did at the beach house. Sheila took a bullet to protect Steffy. “That was a very courageous thing to do,” he tells her.

Nick asks if Taylor knows about the Forrester trip to Italy. He needs to be in Naples for business anyway, so he wants Taylor to accompany him to help him with his plans.

Brooke assures Katie that she’s not trying to steal Ridge away by going to Italy with Nick. Katie can’t imagine Ridge was happy hearing Nick’s name. Brooke knows that it would have been disrespectful to Ridge and Eric to bring Nick while she’s away on business.

Eric asks Ridge if he’s going to protect Brooke from Nick. He asks what would happen if Nick shows up on his own, given that he could do just that even though he’s not invited.

Liam and Steffy discuss the details of the attack. There was a struggle and the gun went off, Steffy says. “And then Sheila ended up with eight toes.” Liam credits Finn for saving his life on the operating table and now he owes her. Steffy hopes Sheila can keep up what she’s done.

Sheila tells Finn she did what anyone would do. Deacon wants her to give herself more credit. Finn says he’ll never forget what she did. Sheila tells them that Luna carried a lot of scars from her past and she doesn’t think Luna truly meant to harm anyone.

Nick admits he’s been enjoying Brooke’s company. He notes their history together, and Taylor imagines that he’d like to make more history with her. Nick agrees, and he credits Naples as the perfect place to do it.

Katie wonders what Taylor thinks about all of it. Brooke knows Taylor would love for Brooke to fall madly in love with Nick so she can leave Ridge alone.

Ridge reminds Eric that he’s in love with Taylor and they’re getting married. Eric is aware of that, but he thinks the engagement is based on a “flimsy foundation” based on a misunderstanding. He reminds Ridge that Stephanie was “pigheaded” about Brooke but she still cared about her. He knows Ridge loves Taylor but she’s not his Logan and they both know it.

Steffy was terrified seeing Liam get shot, thinking she’d lost him. She couldn’t even say goodbye, and it was all because of Luna. But Liam lived. He not only survived being shot, but he beat cancer. “I’m so grateful for the miracle of you,” she says.

Sheila is delighted that Finn is there, but Luna’s life was cut short and she can imagine Finn feels conflicted. She knows he must be hurting, too.

Nick says that if Taylor comes to Italy, they could double date. She reminds him that it’s a business trip and it’s about fashion. She’s a psychiatrist. She’s also not feeling insecure about it. Nick doesn’t think she’s being honest with herself. He’s seen the fashion show and he knows Eric is rooting for Brooke. What if it happens again?

Brooke assures Katie she’s going to Italy for business. Katie knows she’ll be there with Ridge, and when Brooke says Eric will be there, too, Katie points out that Eric is rooting for her to be with Ridge.

Ridge tells Eric to drop it, but he won’t do it. “Not while you’re treating Brooke the way you are. It’s so unfair. You could lose her forever.”

Liam says words won’t express how blessed he feels after spending so much time trying to prepare to say goodbye. There’s no one he loves more than Steffy, Hope, Beth and Kelly. Steffy is so glad he’s not going anywhere.

Finn doesn’t really want to talk about Luna, but he wants to thank her for saving Steffy. Sheila says people really can change and Deacon agrees that he’s seen it firsthand in her. Sheila grabs Deacon’s hand and says she is better because of Deacon, and she thinks Luna could have changed it Luna had the right opportunity.

Taylor refuses to “throw shade” at her future father-in-law, but Nick doesn’t think it’s right that Eric is trying to separate them while she’s living in his house. That’s why Nick thinks Taylor should be in Naples keeping an eye on her fiance.

Brooke thinks about all of the magic in Italy, daydreaming about all of the memories there. She smiles.

Eric tells Ridge that he put Brooke in the fashion show for a reason. He understands why Ridge wants to marry Taylor for the kids, but his life with Taylor would “pale” next to his life with Brooke. What scares Eric is if Ridge woke up and realized Brooke was gone.

Brooke daydreams about Ridge while Ridge stares resolutely at his father.

Brooke, Ridge and Eric are off to Italy this week, and Nick Marone is tagging along to keep Brooke company. Here's The Bold and the Beautiful preview for the week of July 28.

Despite Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) opposition to the idea, Nick (Jack Wagner) was full steam ahead with the idea of going to Italy with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Eric (John McCook) warned his son that Brooke could slip away from him, once and for all, unless he acts. Eric is firmly in the Team Brooke camp, much to Ridge's frustration. Eric is hoping that the trip will remind his son that his destiny lies with Brooke.

Though Ridge continued to insist that he's happily engaged to Taylor (Rebecca Budig), the idea of Brooke running off with Nick certainly gets under his skin. He might not be willing to admit it, but it seems like he's having some second thoughts about leaving Brooke behind.

Here's the look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week:

In the clip, Eric offers a heartfelt "Salut!" with Ridge and Brooke. They're in Capri, the weather is beautiful and the fashions are amazing. Brooke looks radiant, which is all the more reason for Ridge to be wary.

Brooke and Ridge arrive on a boat and are welcomed by Eric, who standing above the dock with a smile on his face. (Eric is a big fan of Brooke and boats, obviously)

Nick, in the meantime, looks like he missed the Capri memo. He's not on the island and he's desperate to get access to a boat so he can get there. Did Eric switch the itinerary around so that Nick would be in the wrong place? It certainly looks like it.

Brooke takes another spin on the runway and can be seen waving to the adoring crowd while Nick, who suddenly looks pleased with himself, says it's "time for the fun to begin."

Clearly, there's some big action coming up in Italy this week as Eric continues to clear a path for Ridge to get back with Brooke while Nick ramps up his pursuit of her. The big question is who will manage to win her affection, and at what cost.

For months we’ve been speculating how Steffy will leave Los Angeles on The Bold and the Beautiful while Jacqueline MacInnes Wood goes on maternity leave. Will Taylor’s heartache lead Steffy to pack up and get out of town with her mother?

As Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) prepare for the Forrester Creations Italian getaway business trip, we’re looking ahead to when we might see Steffy leave the show while Jacqueline MacInnes Wood takes maternity leave.

At first, it seemed like threats from Luna (Lisa Yamada) could be the driving factor in sending Steffy packing, but all of the tension between Brooke and Ridge, not to mention the pressure from Eric, could be the impetus needed to see her leave town. The twist, of course, is that Steffy isn’t the one being threatened this time around. No, we think Taylor (Rebecca Budig) will be the one leaving Los Angeles while she copes with losing Ridge — again. Naturally, Steffy comes with her.

We don’t know what’s going to happen in Naples yet, but with Nick (Jack Wagner) trying to get back into Brooke’s life, Eric pressing Ridge to reunite with Brooke and Ridge’s own blossoming resentment over making rash decisions (i.e. jumping into a relationship with Taylor because he thought Brooke was betraying him), if certainly feels like all signs point toward yet another Brooke and Ridge Italian reunion.

When Taylor returned to LA, she thought she was dying but in reality she was experiencing the classic symptoms of Broken Heart Syndrome. Ridge helped her to heal her broken heart, and we can only imagine that losing him (again) after getting engaged to him (again) will leave her with a broken heart (again). Steffy won’t like that her mother is suffering so much, so she’ll accompany Taylor so that she’s not alone.

Taylor has been telling everyone that she’s not threatened by Brooke at all, but the truth is that Ridge is the one she needs to be worried about. He was questioning everything very early on, even as his relationship with Taylor continued to grow and evolve into an engagement. She asked him to pick a date for their wedding to cement the deal, but it looks like the cement isn’t dry yet.

In the coming weeks, Steffy needs to leave the canvas while MacInnes Wood is away and Ridge needs to make up his mind, once and for all. We don’t see things working out for Taylor and it makes sense to send Steffy off to console her mother while Taylor figures out what her next move will be.

We begin today at Forrester Creations, where Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is giving Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) an offer of forgiveness, but Ridge says it sounds like an “ultimatum.” She points out that he moved on with Taylor, so she should get a chance to be with Nick. She’s giving him a chance to share Naples. She also reminds him how hard it is to come to work knowing he’s with Taylor. She starts to lay into him, pointing out how he left her, when Nick (Jack Wagner) walks in and asks what he walked into.

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) asks Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) how she’s doing. They’re at Eric’s house, and Taylor wants to know if Liam has “really been cured.” When she calls it a miracle, Taylor asks for another miracle — as in Brooke not going to Naples.

Eric (John McCook) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are in the office discussing a very important silk order when they get a whiff of Daphne (Murielle Hilaire). She had a great visit, but she’s glad to be back in LA.

Steffy doesn’t want Brooke on the trip, either. Taylor says Eric wants her there because she is a big part of the business. Steffy knows her mother is frustrated, but Taylor insists she’s not worried. Taylor knows that Eric would rather see Brooke back together with Ridge.

Daphne is glad to be back, and she’s glad to see Eric and Carter working together. She’s also glad that things are ok after the shootings. She’s very excited about the trip, and Eric says he’s excited about the “life-changing trip.”

Ridge, who is upset about the silk shipment, is even more frustrated to see Nick in the office. Nick knows exactly how to get under his skin. After he steps out, Brooke asks why he always provokes Ridge. When Brooke gets a call, Nick makes a call of his own. He tells the person on the line to continue holding the Forrester silk shipment.

Carter shows some of their new designs to Daphne, who asks for one of the designs for herself. He’s glad she’s there and asks about her latest fragrance. She says it’s ok to tease the press, but she adds that she’s putting together a “special package” for Eric, Brooke and Ridge to take to Italy. Carter is glad to have her back. “I miss seeing you,” he adds.

Steffy doesn’t want Taylor to be worrying about Brooke during the trip. Taylor knows Brooke is trying to manipulate the situation, especially with Nick back. Donna (Jennifer Gareis) walks in and asks if they’re talking about Nick. Donna admits that Brooke is only interested in one man.

Ridge and Eric are trying to track down the silk shipment, but Ridge is agitated about Nick’s presence. Eric becomes concerned when he hears that Nick is in the office, and he wants to know what he said. Ridge says he told Nick he shouldn’t be in Italy with them.

Nick says Italy loves Brooke, but he wants to show her the country on his terms. He wants her to see Naples like the locals, and go to Capri together. Nick says it’s one of the most stunning places in the world, and it’s a place “where anything can happen.”

Daphne wants to know why Carter missed her. She missed him, too, but she’s also surprised he said it. He says they’re friends, and a lot has happened since she left. He asks how long she’s staying. “We shall see,” she replies.

Steffy knows that Nick can charm Brooke. Donna admits that her sister can charm some men, too. Taylor asks if she thinks Nick might swoop in and “woo” Brooke, leading Steffy to ask if he’d be able to get with Brooke. Donna apologizes but has to say she knows her sister wants to be with Ridge, and she wants her to be happy.

Eric doesn’t like Nick, either, but he tells his son that he should look inside himself to figure out why Nick’s presence bothers him so much. Ridge gets a call from Will, who traced the shipment to Marone. Ridge instantly knows Nick was messing with them, and Brooke.

Nick says nothing compares to the beauty of Italy and wants to share it with her. Brooke reminds him that this is a work trip, teasing him that leading his company has changed his tactics. He says he’s still a sailor at heart, and he knows she loves the water, too. He reminds her that Italy loves her, too, and asks if she wants to be in “stiff meetings” or would she rather see the country with him. “And make a little magic.” She laughs.

Ridge says he mentioned the silk to Nick, and he lied about it. Now he’s messing with their business and costing them money. Eric says it’s more than that. First, it’s the silk, and then it will be Brooke.

Taylor points out that Ridge isn’t the only man who made Brooke happy; she shares a son with Nick. Donna doesn’t disagree, but she says everyone knows that Brooke and Ridge are meant to be together, and she believes Ridge feels the same about Brooke.

Brooke notes that Nick is flattering. Ridge walks in and asks Nick about his agenda in LA. He tells Brooke that he found the silk on one of Nick’s boats in Long Beach. When Nick makes a joke, Brooke says they need the silk. Nick calls his guy and tells him to unload the shipment. When he ends the call, Nick says it could have been settled if Ridge had asked nicely. Ridge says Nick comes into town and messes with people’s lives. When he mentions not messing with “Logan,” Nick tells him to stop calling her that, reminding Ridge that he’s marrying another woman. Brooke looks on, calculatingly.

We begin today at Forrester Creations, where Eric (John McCook) is trying to understand how Liam’s tumor went from inoperable to being removed. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) credits Grace and her colleague, but even Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) questions how they could do something the hospital couldn’t.

Ridge isn’t asking questions, he’s just happy it all worked out. Brooke is thrilled that the girls don’t have to say goodbye to their father. Eric says brushes with death make you reflect on how you live your life to embrace joyful things. He says the trip is still on and it’s “going to be life-changing for all of us.”

At Il Giardino, Deacon (Sean Kanan) sees his eight-toed wife and hopes she’s not working, but Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) has her foot propped on a pillow and she is, indeed, working. She can’t stay in bed anymore. Deacon loves when she’s “crazy in bed.” Sheila wants to help, but Deacon wonders if there’s another reason she’s restless. Sheila had no idea Liam was battling cancer. Li (Naomi Matsuda) walks in and says that Liam’s treatment was a miracle. Sheila isn’t happy that Luna wasn’t able to get the same result.

Eric wants Ridge and Brooke to see the promo video of “Forrester in Italy” that Will made. Ridge smiles indulgently as the video sums up some of the company’s best moments in Italy, most of which feature Ridge and Brooke together. Brooke says it brought back a lot of memories, some sad ones, too. Brooke says that she’s considering inviting Nick to Italy, but Ridge says he’s “not invited.”

Li isn’t happy about Luna either. When Deacon points out all of Luna’s crimes, adding that he’s “relieved” that they don’t have to worry about her, Li looks away uncomfortably. Sheila just looks sad.

Eric asks Ridge if he’s all right. Eric says he looks annoyed that Brooke wants Nick in Italy. Ridge calls him a “tool,” and he knows that Eric is trying to use the Nick angle to get him back with Brooke.

Brooke wraps up a call in the office. She gets a visit from Nick, who greets her with a “hello, beautiful.” He heard about Liam and he’s thrilled. But he knows she’s going to Italy with Ridge, and he wants her to remember that Ridge is marrying another woman.

Sheila and Li sit down and talk while Deacon watches from the bar. When Sheila says Luna wasn’t a monster, Deacon jumps in and says that Luna caused “all of this.” He knows they don’t want to see her vilified, but she was a monster. Li blames her upbringing, which seems to surprise Sheila a bit. She’s never seen Li defend Luna before. Li says Luna needed help from a young age, and Poppy never saw it. “Poor Luna never had a chance.”

Ridge knows Eric wants him to leave Taylor and go back to Brooke. Eric thinks he’s been clear about his feelings. Ridge wants to know if he respects Taylor, and when Eric says he loves Taylor, Ridge says Eric is trying to get him to leave her. Eric says he’d stay out of his son’s relationship if he knew he was happy. “You’re in love with Brooke,” he says. “You always have been and you always will be.” And now Nick is “circling like a shark.”

Nick says Brooke needs a man who can be decisive. He asks about their time together, and Brooke says she enjoyed it. His mom misses her, too. “You really turned my life upside down,” he tells her. He was looking for someone all those years ago, and that’s why he’s back now.

Ridge says Brooke is smart and won’t fall for Nick. Eric says she’s “vulnerable” and points out that Ridge said Brooke needed someone to watch out for her. He’s going to lose Brooke if he’s not careful. Ridge says Nick is fake and she’s not going to fall for it.

Nick reminds Brooke how he came to LA as a captain, and now he runs the company. He wants to show her the Naples he knows. He says building a boat is like “writing a love letter with your hand.” He brushes her arm as he talks about building boats. He’s building a cruiser, and he wants to take her out on the water and watch her in the sun. “I might even let you wear my captain’s hat,” he adds.

Sheila never thought she’d be sitting with Li trying to find comfort. She admits her heart is broken that Luna is gone and no one cares. Everyone is talking about Liam but not Luna. She asks if there will be a service, but Li quickly says, “It’s already done. It’s handled.” Sheila looks devastated.

Brooke walks in as Ridge ends a call. She asks if he’s ready for the trip, then she says things are different because the last time they were there, he pledged his love for her. She needs Nick there, pointing out that Taylor is always there. Ridge is fine with her moving on with her life, but just not with Nick.

Sheila wishes she knew about the arrangements. She never got to say goodbye to Luna. Li looks at her speculatively.

Nick is on the phone in the design office. He spots a photo of Brooke on the cover of a magazine, and he thinks back to their wedding when he promised never to let her go. He sighs.

Brooke reminds Ridge that Taylor has an engagement ring. He moved on with her, so why can’t Brooke be with Nick? She reminds him that they’re meant to be together. They always come back to each other, and it’s always in “magical Italy.” He looked through a keyhole and saw his Logan.

She points out that they’re too old for this, especially since it was all a misunderstanding. Surely he knows how much it was going to hurt her, but she still loves him, and she knows he loves her. She’ll forgive it all, but this is his last chance. Otherwise, she’s going to bring Nick to Italy. “Tell me that you’re going to come back to me,” she pleads.

It looks like Li took matters into her own hands on The Bold and the Beautiful, but she’s going to need help long-term to cover her tracks and make decisions. Will she turn to Sheila for support?

Sometimes the most unlikely person could be the best ally. We don’t know for sure, but it looks like Li (Naomi Matsuda) called an audible and stole Luna (Lisa Yamada) away from the hospital after her surgery, claiming she died in recovery, to give the troubled young double murderer a chance at another life.

Li knew Luna would be arrested and sent back to prison as soon as she recovered, so we think she made a decision to give Luna a true second chance. Yes, Bill (Don Diamont) got her out of jail on house arrest and managed a full pardon, but then he kicked her out and sent her spiraling.

So let’s assume that Luna is being hidden somewhere, being kept under sedation while she recovers. (We saw someone grabbing medical supplies, so it’s possible Li has someone helping to care for her.) But now Li has a problem. No one cares about Luna, and not having support will make her ultimate rehabilitation very challenging.

Enter Sheila (Kimberlin Brown).

Sheila cared about Luna. She’s also a former nurse, so she can help with medical treatment and Luna’s recovery. She’s also good at keeping secrets.

Li has no reason to trust Sheila whatsoever. Li’s whole life and career could be destroyed if anyone finds out that she took Luna from the hospital, lied about her whereabouts and kept her from going to jail. Li is counting on Sheila’s love for Luna; Sheila will be more focused on keeping Luna safe than getting Li in trouble.

The two women have been locked in hatred for each other for so long, but in a soapy twist, they may be the only two people who can keep this massive secret.

We begin this week at Bill’s (Don Diamont) house, where Bill, Finn (Tanner Novlan), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) tell Liam (Scott Clifton) that his tumor is gone. “It’s a major miracle,” Bill declares as Steffy and Hope tell him that he’s not going anywhere. Liam breaks into tears.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) knows that the timing of the Italy trip is challenging. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) says they can cancel if they need to. Taylor (Rebecca Budig) agrees that the timing is horrible, but life is so short, and it’s important to be with loved ones. Katie (Heather Tom) and Will (Crew Morrow) burst into the office and tell everyone they talked to Bill and they have amazing news.

Electra (Laneya Grace) is in the design office with Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), who is having trouble understanding how Liam could be shot and be dealing with brain cancer at the same time. “How is that fair?” she asks. “It’s not,” Electra agrees.

Grace (Cassandra Creech) gets a text from Bill expressing his gratitude for saving Liam. Bridget (Ashley Jones) walks into her office and says she needs to speak to her about Liam.

Ivy says she used to be close to Liam a long time ago. He was there for her at a low point in her life, and he’d do anything to help someone. She’s missed him, and now she’s thinking about him more than ever.

Will reveals that Liam had an experimental surgery for his brain cancer. “He’s cured,” Katie says. Everyone is speechless.

Grace says she’s been slammed at work. Bridget has been texting her nonstop, and she wants to know why Grace discharged him so soon.

Bill gets off the phone after revealing the good news to Will and Wyatt. Hope reiterates that Liam isn’t going anywhere. Steffy says he’s going to be with them for a very long time.

Electra says that it sounds like her aunt had “quite the romance” with Liam. Ivy admits they ended too soon because he was the best boyfriend she’s ever had. He’s so kind and affectionate and “the whole package.” Ivy jokes that none of Bill’s sons are like him, thank goodness. When Electra mentions seeing Liam at Il Giardino a while back and how it could have gone somewhere, Ivy admits that she thinks about that moment a lot.

Taylor points out that Finn did a lot of research, and this treatment must be very advanced. Ridge wants to focus on the fact that he’s going to live. Will always wanted to spend more time with Liam, and he’s not going to waste any time making up for lost time. Brooke can’t wait to learn more. Taylor is also curious and says she’ll call the hospital to get more information.

Bridget has so many questions about why Grace discharged Liam so soon. Grace isn’t having it. When her phone rings, Grace gives Bridget a dismissive look. Once she’s alone, Grace tells the caller that she was just about to call them back.

Hope and Steffy know Liam is tired, but he wants to see Kelly and Beth. Bill laughs as Liam asks to see them. Hope calls the nanny to bring them over. Finn pulls Bill aside to ask if he’s had any follow-up with Grace because cases like this seldom end up like this. Bill calls it a miracle, but Finn doesn’t look so sure.

Electra knew her aunt had a crush on Liam, unaware that she had such deep feelings for him. Ivy says that this situation makes her think about it even more, and she wishes she could have been there for him, but she didn’t know he was sick. Electra says Liam will still need love and support until he’s gone. Ivy can’t think about it. Electra says it’s weighing heavily on Will, too.

Will admits Bill has made some “boneheaded decisions,” but he feels bad about what happened. Ridge unleashes his frustration on Will, who says Bill is trying hard to make up for it. Taylor reports that her contact at the hospital says it was Grace who signed off on the discharge.

Bridget thinks back to Grace saying the tumor was inoperable and Finn saying there has to be more to what’s going on. She has even more questions now that Grace is acting so strangely. Grace, in the meantime, gets a message that the wire transfer was successful.

Hope says Liam looks better. Bill had no idea if it would work, but when Grace came to him and said they didn’t have time to think about it, he had to move. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for his boy. Bill sits down at Liam’s bedside and says he’s so grateful that they got rid of the tumor. He apologizes for what happened with Luna. Bill loves Liam, and he’ll do anything for him. “Well, thanks for the surgery,” he says.

Hope announces that Finn is going to bring the girls up. Steffy knows the girls will be shocked to see him like that, but Hope says they’ll make sure they know he’s ok. When they come in, Hope tells Beth and Kelly that Liam was in the hospital, but he’s going to be ok. Beth asks if he’s all right. “Now that you guys are here, I’m the best ever,” he says. He starts showing off his equipment, including his tubes and “hat.” The girls watch as Bill, Steffy and Hope watch with smiles on their faces.

Katie knows what this news means for Steffy, Hope and their girls. Ridge says Liam took a bullet for Steffy and had a miracle cure in the same week. Taylor knows that there are questions lingering, but Liam is going to live. Brooke is content to know he’s not going anywhere.

Beth and Kelly ask questions about their father and all of the machines. Finn explains that they keep track of some cool stuff. When Kelly says Finn is “the best doctor,” Liam agrees with her. Hope and Steffy keep telling the girls that Liam isn’t going anywhere. Kelly wants another Daddy-Daughter dance, and Beth wants one, too. The girls tell him how much they love him. Bill looks on proudly. “Best million I ever spent.”

Grace looks at the wire transfer and thinks back to all of the details of Liam’s case, how the tumor was inoperable and how she told Bill the tumor was gone. She starts to hyperventilate when she hears Bill saying that the tumor has been removed.

Just when it seemed like Liam (Scott Clifton) had received his miracle cure, things are about to take a turn as Finn (Tanner Novlan) questions the procedure that saved his life. Here's The Bold and the Beautiful preview for the week of July 21.

It was a busy week as Liam underwent a very risky experimental procedure to remove the previously inoperable brain mass that was about to cut his life short.

Grace (Cassandra Creech) told Bill (Don Diamont) that she had a colleague from overseas who could save Liam's life. All it would take is a separate hospital and a million dollars.

As if things weren't sketchy enough, as soon as the surgery was over, Grace sent Liam home with Bill to recover. Once Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) arrived, they were shocked to learn that Liam was cured and he was going to live.

Despite seeing the results with his own eyes, something about the news didn't sit right with Liam and he's about to take a closer look at this miraculous surgery.

Here's the look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week:

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) informs Nick (Jack Wagner) that she and Ridge "are more than involved. We're engaged." This makes Nick very happy, as it means the engagement should put an end to the love triangle between Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Taylor and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). He's been waiting to make his move with Brooke and now Taylor seems to be making it clear that there's no future for Brooke and Ridge.

Little does Taylor know, Eric (John McCook) has thoughts about Ridge and Brooke, too. He tells his son "the only person in this world for you is Brooke, " which likely will cause Ridge to dig his heels in even deeper because he will never freely admit that he jumped into the relationship with Taylor way too fast. Whether you're Team Brooke or Team Taylor, there's no question that Ridge messed everything up by rebounding with Taylor and getting all the way to an engagement when he was really just upset at Brooke for taking the CEO position. With his back up against the wall, what will Ridge do?

Liam and Bridget (Ashley Jones) have questions about Liam's surgery. As he wonders what happened to Liam, Finn wants to get answers to all of the questions swirling around this miracle cure and the mysterious circumstances that led to the surgery in the first place. Finn knows something doesn't add up and he's not going to rest until he puts the pieces together.

We wrap up this incredibly eventful week at Bill’s (Don Diamont) mansion, where he’s watching the nurse tend to Liam (Scott Clifton). She says he’s doing “remarkably well,” and Bill says he’s been through a lot. Liam is still asleep, but Bill is so grateful to have his son back. “I just need my son to survive,” he says. “That needs to be your sole focus, Liam. Surviving.” He gets a text. They’re about to have company.

Taylor (Rebecca Budig) tells Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that things could have turned out so differently. Ridge says Liam could have died. They hug as Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) comes in and asks if they have any updates. Taylor says that even though Steffy is safe, there’s still a lot of stress. Ridge is glad Luna won’t be a problem anymore.

Electra (Laneya Grace) and Will (Crew Morrow) talk about how crazy Luna was. Will is glad Luna is gone, so there won’t be any new surprises. Electra credits Will’s brother.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Hope (Annika Noelle) arrive at Bill’s house, and he says they’re waiting on the results. Steffy wants to see him right away. Bill warns them that Liam is still weak from the surgery. Finn wants to know why Bill didn’t consult with him, but Bill says there was no time.

Katie (Heather Tom) arrives and asks if Electra and Will are talking about Liam. She points out that he was shot and he survived, but they’re still going to lose him, and it’s tragic.

Taylor says it would have been great for Luna to get help, but she’s so glad Liam saved Steffy.

Bill leads Steffy and Hope into the bedroom and tells the nurse that seeing them will be the best thing for him. The two women look at Liam in concern.

Katie can’t imagine what Liam is going through, and not just with his diagnosis. He’s “one of the most peaceful people” she knows. Will calls him a hero for what he did to Luna. Katie feels terrible that his reward for being a hero is to face a death sentence.

Ridge wishes things were different for Liam. Taylor says Liam wants to be there for his daughters and to make memories for when he’s gone. Brooke’s heart is broken for him. Taylor adds that their granddaughters have no idea what’s happening.

Finn is amazed at how well Liam is doing. He’s still surprised that Grace didn’t keep him overnight, but Bill blames it on where they had to do the surgery. Steffy wants details about this “cure,” and Bill says that Grace had a colleague who could perform surgery. Hope says they’re thankful for the cure, but it all seems strange. Finn asks for the name of the surgeon, but Bill can’t remember.

Bill knows it sounds shady, but he knows of people who have gone out of the country for experimental procedures, and he thinks the surgery was a success. He’s waiting for Grace to send the MRI results. Finn can’t believe it, asking for any data that Grace may have given him. Bill says that all he was thinking about was saving Liam’s life.

Electra can’t believe Liam didn’t tell anyone about being sick. Katie can’t blame him because no one wants to be pitied. She has been through it herself, and she knows he’s trying to shield his daughters.

Taylor asks if Ridge and Brooke should postpone the Italy trip. Brooke knows that Hope and Beth will need her, and Steffy and Kelly will need Ridge “when Liam leaves us.”

Finn doesn’t like that Bill is having Liam recover at home, but Bill points out that he’s “decked out” in equipment. Finn still doesn’t understand why Grace didn’t consult with him. He’s happy things went well, though. Bill is trying to stay positive that the test results are what they’re hoping for. Hope tells Liam that she and Steffy are there for him. Steffy tells him how brave he is and how proud they are of him for doing what he can for his girls. Liam wakes up with a weak “hey,” and Hope says they love him so much.

Ridge doesn’t think they should postpone the trip just yet. They can make changes before they leave, depending on how Liam is doing. “Something we can all agree on,” Taylor adds. She says they’ll have to stand together as parents and grandparents to be there for their daughters, and Kelly and Beth.

Katie knows Liam is a devoted father, and she can’t imagine the girls growing up without a father. Will says that maybe this doesn’t have to end because Liam is a fighter. “I’m not ready to lose him, Mom,” he says, clinging to Katie.

Liam is confused about where he is. He sees Steffy and Hope and smiles. They talk about his procedure and how they’re hopeful it worked. “We can’t lose you,” Steffy says. Bill gets a text from Grace with the MRI results. Everyone listens anxiously as Bill tells them that “the scan is clean” and the tumor is gone. Finn looks over the MRI imaging and declares it a “miracle.” Steffy looks at him in tears. “You’re going to live.” Finn says that “medical history” was made, but he still looks skeptical as he looks at the results. Something isn’t right. Liam, however, is in tears as he thinks about the news. Noticeably, though, he hasn’t said anything.

We won’t know how Liam is doing on The Bold and the Beautiful until he wakes up, but there are already so many warning signs that this whole “medical miracle” is a lie that we’re already worried about what could happen.

In the medical world, doctors pledge to “do no harm,” but that’s not always the case in soap operas, where the lines get blurred all the time.

Grace (Cassandra Creech) was responsible for correctly diagnosing Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) Broken Heart Syndrome, and that was a blessing for Taylor and her family. All this time, we’ve been thinking that Liam (Scott Clifton) has been receiving top-rate, compassionate care from Grace, but it looks like that could be completely wrong.

In the July 17 episode, Grace gave Bill (Don Diamont) permission to take Liam home directly after his surgery. Nothing about this sounded above board, and even Bill questioned it (to a point), but Grace made it seem like it’s all perfectly normal. Sure, why not send someone home hours after having brain surgery?

We have to think that Grace is being pressured for money, and she saw an opportunity to extort money from Bill once he learned what was really going on with Liam, aside from being shot. In fact, we could argue that Grace kept pushing Liam to share the news with his family because she knew that Bill could be the cash cow she needed to get the money she needed for whatever it is she needs it for.

As to the “medical miracle” operation itself, there’s little doubt that Grace was the one who orchestrated the whole thing. There was no specialist from another country, nor was there an experimental procedure that could save him. Liam’s tumor was the same as it has always been, only now it looks like Grace stopped calling it “inoperable” and started calling it “salvation.”

By offering Bill hope, she knew she could get money from him. It wasn’t weird at all when she pressed him for the wire transfer before surgery and again while they were waiting for Liam to be done with his MRI. The call she took, coupled with the texts and frazzled conversations she spoke about with Finn (Tanner Novlan), makes this seem all the more suspicious.

As for the surgery itself, we can’t help but think of the dinner scene from 2001’s Hannibal when Mr. Lecter was enjoying brain soup from Ray Liotta’s head. Grace cut Liam open, but whatever she did very likely left him worse off than he was before.

We have to think that she’s at this very moment creating fake MRI results that can be shared with Finn and Bridget (Ashley Jones) to cover up this insidious crime. At the end of the day, the saving grace for Dr. Buckingham is that so-called experimental treatments can always go wrong, thus absolving her from any blame for what happens with Liam.

We begin today’s episode with Bill (Don Diamont) at Liam’s (Scott Clifton) bedside. Grace (Cassandra Creech) says they pulled off the experimental surgery, and she believes he’ll make “a full recovery.” Bill thanks the surgeon, who still says nothing as he leaves to take Liam to an MRI. Bill asks how long Liam will be in recovery. She says he’s going home with Bill.

Finn (Tanner Novlan) can’t believe Grace signed off on Liam leaving. Bridget says it’s not standard protocol, but she knows Bill will give him the best care.

Hope (Annika Noelle) gets a call from Carter to check in. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still hasn’t heard from Finn. Hope reveals she talked to her father, who said Luna didn’t just shoot Sheila in the foot, "she lost another toe." Steffy can hardly hide her surprise.

At Il Giardino, a recovering Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is presented with tea and flowers for Deacon’s "8-toed beauty." He gives her a kiss. He asks if she is ok being out of bed, but she’s ready for some fresh air and sunshine. She’s glad the restaurant is closed for inspections. He makes sure her foot is elevated, but she reminds him that it’s not her "first rodeo." Deacon gets called away, and Sheila thinks back to Luna being shot. Sheila asks Deacon for any updates on Liam, but he hasn’t heard anything. Sheila can’t believe Luna is gone.

Steffy admits things are more complicated with Sheila now. She feels some gratitude for what she did. Hope knows it’s complicated, especially considering what happened with Liam. Steffy can’t stop thinking about the girls and blindsiding them with the news that their father is dying.

Finn has been trying to reach Grace, but Bridget thinks this is all still above board. Finn won’t stop trying.

Bill can’t believe Grace is sending Liam home. This wasn’t a "wisdom tooth" being pulled, this was major surgery. Grace says that she thought Liam would prefer a private option where he can recuperate in a private setting with a nurse and medical team. Bill wants to know for sure that it’s ok to move Liam so quickly. She’s sure.

Sheila says Luna deserved more from her. She could have given her more support, but Deacon thinks Sheila gave her great advice, and Luna squandered it. "She shot you," he reminds her. Sheila gets angry, saying Luna didn’t mean to shoot her, she just wanted everyone to listen to what she wanted. Deacon persists, noting that Sheila protected her family with what she did, and Finn and Steffy will have to see that, too.

Finn can see that Liam was stable before he was released. Bridget says Grace is a great doctor, and she wants to believe she was acting in Liam’s best interest. Finn has to update Steffy, who won’t be happy about what is happening.

Steffy gets Finn’s call and puts it on speaker. He says Liam is “apparently much better” because he’s been released into Bill’s care. Hope asks if Bill paid someone off. Steffy asks who signed off on it, and Finn says it was Grace. They’re still trying to get answers.

Grace says Liam is on the way back from the MRI. Bill is eager to see him conscious. Grace asks about the wire transfer, and he says it was done. He’d be willing to pay for her to do more research to save other patients. Grace gets a call. She answers. “It’s happening now,” she tells the person on the other line. Liam comes back in, and Bill pledges not to leave Liam’s side. Liam, eyes still closed, reaches for his father’s hand.

Bill tells Liam that he made it through surgery, and he gets to go home. Grace says they’ll wait until they have the MRI to know if the surgery was successful. For now, Liam can go home. Bill tells Grace that Liam is his firstborn son, and he’s so grateful for Grace giving him more time.

Sheila doesn’t know if Steffy can see that what she did was heroic. She thinks they need to worry about Liam. "Liam has got to be ok," she says.

Bridget gets a call and finds out that Grace isn’t even in the building. Hope and Steffy arrive, and they find out that Grace isn’t there. Bill isn’t answering, either.

At Bill’s house, a full medical suite has been set up, and Bill is pacing. He thanks Nurse Sheena, who says she’ll be checking in on him. She promises to share the MRI results once they come in. The nurse leaves and Bill looks at his son. "You’re home now, son," Bill says through tears.

Deacon calls Sheila "incredible" for thinking about Liam while she’s dealing with so much. She’s a hero, too, even if he’s the only person who knows it. He was so afraid of losing her. She comforts him, assuring him that she’s right there.

Bill watches as the nurse checks on Liam, reporting that his vitals are good. Liam starts to wake up, so Bill calls Steffy. He reveals Liam is with him. Finn asks for a report, but Bill says he had surgery that day. It was an experimental procedure. Finn can’t believe Liam was released after the second surgery. Steffy asks if there’s a prognosis. “Is there a chance Liam can live?” Steffy asks. Bill says there is. Bill ends the call and tells Liam he would go to hell and back for his sons.

Steffy and Hope can’t believe that Liam could live, and their daughters might not lose their father after all.

Bill keeps a bedside vigil, but Liam isn’t awake yet.

We love our soap opera twists, and The Bold and the Beautiful may have just delivered the twist of the year if Liam (Scott Clifton) has truly been cured of his previously inoperable brain tumor. And it’s all thanks to Luna (Lisa Yamada).

In the ultimate kicking-him-while-he’s-down moment, Liam was shot trying to protect Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from Luna. "I’m a dead man anyway," he said in the July 8 episode. With Liam bleeding out, he was rushed into surgery, and it was Finn (Tanner Novlan) who repaired the damage.

Everyone has been talking about how being shot only added to the complications of Liam already dying from the brain tumor; however, being shot was probably the best thing that could have happened to him.

Grace (Cassandra Creech) had been trying to convince Liam to get treatment; at the time, the only viable option was to undergo a treatment that could prolong his life at the cost of being able to be functional. Liam didn’t want to sacrifice quality time with his daughters, so he dismissed the plan for treatment.

Liam also didn’t want to tell anyone he was sick. His thought process was understandable — he didn’t want people to spend time mourning him before he was even gone. However, while she was venting her anger at Bill (Don Diamont) for unleashing Luna back into the world, Hope (Annika Noelle) let it slip that Liam was dying, and suddenly the cat was out of the bag.

Once Bill learned about Liam’s condition, he started demanding answers as only the powerful media tycoon could. That led to Grace’s revelation that she’s been doing research, and there was a new doctor performing a surgery that could save Liam’s life.

Now, we’re still on the fence as to whether or not Grace’s miracle cure was real or if it was a scam. But if it turns out that it worked, then the only reason it was possible is because Grace had a chance to talk to Bill, who was willing to pay the million dollars to make it happen.

In that sense, Luna shooting Liam ended up saving his life. If not for her, Liam wouldn’t have had this option available to him, and he’d still be facing death. It’s a bold twist, if things continue along this path, and it’s a pleasantly satisfying way for Liam’s life to be saved.

I have a weird feeling that things are not what they seem when it comes to Liam’s surgery in The Bold and the Beautiful. Did Grace just scam Bill and Liam, or is Liam actually cured?

It has been a week of crazy plot twists on The Bold and the Beautiful. Li (Naomi Matsuda) said Luna (Lisa Yamada) was dead, even though she survived surgery (while someone was scampering around grabbing medical supplies in the background). And now it looks like Grace (Cassandra Creech) may have pulled a fast one on Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam (Scott Clifton).

After insisting that Liam’s inoperable brain tumor was, indeed, inoperable, Grace revealed to Bill in the July 15 episode that there was actually a highly experimental treatment that could save his son’s life. She’d have to call upon her colleague, whom she had already flown in from overseas, and she’d have to book a surgery center, which she had already booked for the following day.

Bill, of course, was more than willing to do whatever it took to save his son, and he didn’t hesitate for a moment when she said she’d need a million dollars. Oddly enough, she gave him the wire instructions a few moments before starting surgery, and Bill had the money sent right away.

Adding to this mystery is the fact that we never see the other doctor, who is apparently a world-renowned surgeon, ever pick up a scalpel. Grace made the first incision in the July 16 episode, and then we see Liam with a bandage around his head later. The other doctor’s only words to Bill were that Liam did “very well,” but he didn’t sound very convincing. Did a surgery even take place?

I hate to be the doubting Thomas here, but this whole thing feels very sketchy.

Yes, Grace has been trying to talk with Liam about treatment, but experimental and possibly life-saving procedures never came up before. How did treatment options change so quickly, and how was there time for her to fly the doctor in from overseas and book a surgical suite?

I have a sick feeling that Grace, who was seen arguing with someone on the phone while in Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) office a few weeks back, just played Bill and Liam. In a very technical sense, surgery is often an option for just about anything; the question is whether surgery will do something. In Liam’s case, his inoperable brain tumor could certainly be operated upon, but the surgery could do nothing to save his life, or it could even kill him.

What if Grace needed money in a very bad way and was willing to do whatever it took to get it? And what if she performed the surgery herself? Best case scenario, it works and no one will ever be wiser. But if it doesn't work, she can always claim that these things happen and no one can really question her about it. There are no guarantees in medicine, especially on a soap opera.

After Li seems to have taken Luna away under the pretense of her being dead, I’m stuck wondering if the next twist comes in Grace performing a surgery that she claims will save Liam’s life, only for Liam to learn that nothing has changed at all because it wasn’t real.

I hope I’m wrong. I truly do. But where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And something seems to be burning in that hospital.

We begin today with Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam (Scott Clifton) discussing the idea of surgery, knowing that he has to leave the hospital. Grace (Cassandra Creech) walks in and says she believes in her colleague and she believes in the procedure. Liam is so relieved.

Bridget (Ashley Jones) walks into Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) office and asks if he’s seen Liam yet. Finn is amazed at how Liam has been putting everyone else’s needs in front of his own.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) tells Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that the shooting doesn’t feel real. She admits Luna wasn’t pointing the gun at her the whole time, but things changed as she became more desperate. Hope points out that Luna shot Sheila by accident. Brooke walks in and agrees that Liam is a “true hero.”

Bridget knows Liam will want to go home as soon as possible. Finn notes that Liam is not ready to go home quite yet. Poppy (Romy Park) walks in and says Luna loved Finn the way she always wanted to be loved. One of her big regrets was never telling Finn that he was Luna's father.

Brooke feels awful about Liam’s brain tumor. Hope says he’s known for a while. Carter points out that he had a lot of support from Hope and Steffy. Brooke wishes she’d been able to offer support, too. She wonders if there’s anything the doctors can do.

Bill paces impatiently as they wait for the other doctor. He walks in and introduces himself. Liam says he’s grateful for the opportunity to work with this doctor. Bill says he’s counting on the new doctor to save Liam’s life. Grace asks for a moment with Bill. She says she needs the payment wired in full as soon as possible. She can give him the account information. He’ll pay anything, he just doesn’t want to lose his son. Bill tells Liam how much he loves him. Liam feels the same way.

Brooke can’t believe Luna was taunting Liam. Hope says Liam did what he felt he had to do to save Steffy. Carter asks how Finn is doing after losing Luna. Steffy doesn't have an answer.

Bridget leaves Finn and Poppy alone. Poppy knows Finn probably hates her for everything that’s happened. She can’t forget the awful things Luna did to her, including setting her up for two murders she didn’t commit. How could anyone forgive that? Finn agrees that Luna was a “very disturbed” young woman. Poppy says Luna was her flesh and blood, and she was his flesh and blood, too. But this isn’t the time for the discussion, he says. He has to go check on Liam.

Bill calls his assistant to have the money wired immediately. He ends the call and proceeds to wait. “You better know what the hell you’re doing, Doctor,” he says to himself.

Grace prepares to put Liam under. She assures him that he’s in very good hands. Once he’s out, Grace looks at the other doctor and proceeds to begin the surgery. Only she’s the one doing it. She makes the first cut. There’s no going back now.

Carter apologizes for asking about Finn. Steffy says it’s ok for him to be concerned. Brooke knows that Finn must have mixed emotions. Hope can’t imagine Finn would ever want Luna in his life. Steffy says Luna kept showing up at the house, and she became obsessed. She was “extremely dangerous,” and she’s not sorry she’s gone.

Poppy asks how Liam is doing. She knows it’s all because of Luna. Finn says he can’t do this right now, and when he gets called out for a patient, he leaves her alone.

Bridget goes into Liam’s room and finds it empty. The nurse walks in and tells her that Liam has been released on Grace’s orders into the care of his father.

Bill is pacing when he receives the text that the wire transfer went through. He looks heavenward and admits he and the Lord have a “complicated relationship,” but he begs the powers that be for Liam to live. Take him instead. “Please don’t take my son from me,” he says.

Surgery continues. It still looks like Grace is the one doing all the work. She looks at her colleague, and they share a look before continuing. Steffy ends a call, and Hope asks if she’s ok. Steffy was checking in with Ms. Dylan. Carter asks when Liam can come home. Steffy thinks Bill will want Liam to stay with him while he recovers. Hope and Steffy don’t love that idea, but they want as much time as possible.

Finn walks back into the office, and Bridget reveals that Liam has been released into Bill’s care on Grace’s authority. Bridget wonders if it will possibly be a better idea for him to recover outside of the hospital. Finn is upset, but Bridget says Bill would do anything for his son.

Grace walks out and says the procedure is over, and Liam is in recovery. Bill wants to see Liam right away. Grace leads Bill into the recovery room. The other doctor says Liam did “very well,” and Grace says they removed the whole tumor, calling it a “medical miracle.” Bill says they’d been told there was no hope, and now Grace is saying there’s a chance he could live? “That’s what I’m telling you,” Grace says. “The odds of this are one in a million,” Bill says. Grace looks back toward her colleague, saying nothing.

Eric still wants Brooke and Ridge to get back together in The Bold and the Beautiful, and we think he’s going to use Naples as the perfect place to reunite them.

At the end of the day, does it really matter that she put a ring on it? Sure, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) proposed to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) using a ring he gave her years before, and now, as he prepares for the big Naples trip, she wants to get even more commitment from him. It turns out, she might need that extra assurance after all.

In the July 15 episode, Taylor asks Ridge to set a date for the wedding before he leaves, knowing that he’ll be on the trip with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Taylor had just left the Forrester Mansion, where she and Donna (Jennifer Gareis) were discussing why it makes sense for Brooke to go to Naples.

Upon arriving at Forrester Creations, Taylor came upon Ridge having a conversation with Eric (John McCook) about Naples. What she didn’t hear, of course, was Eric pressing his son about Ridge’s concerns for Brooke now that Nick (Jack Wagner) is poking around.

Ridge and Taylor may be engaged, but Eric doesn’t seem to be buying it completely. He still believes that Ridge and Brooke are destined to be together, and he’s going to do everything he can to make sure it happens. Sure, it makes sense for Brooke to accompany them to Naples for business purposes, but the Italian city has a lot of history for the former couple, and there’s a big chance that some of the magic could be rekindled anew.

Eric already put Brooke in the showstopper gown to catch Ridge’s eye, and now he’s hoping Naples will be good for Brooke. Technically, he’s probably thinking that Naples and a healthy helping of Nick Marone jealousy will do the trick for Ridge. And clearly, Taylor is probably thinking the same thing. Hence, her rush to set a wedding date before Ridge leaves.

Only time will tell whether or not Eric’s efforts will be successful, but there was no missing Ridge’s pause when Taylor asked him to choose a date for their wedding. Ridge doesn’t seem to be all-in on this engagement, and Eric knows it. That’s why Eric isn’t going to stop until he’s done everything in his power to show Ridge who he was meant to be with.

As Forrester Creations prepares to travel to Italy, Taylor wants Ridge to set a date in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 15, 2025.

We begin today with Bill (Don Diamont) sitting in Liam’s (Scott Clifton) room. Grace (Cassandra Creech) checks to see how Liam’s doing, and Liam says Bill could use a change of clothes because he stinks.

Grace is very happy with his progress. Liam says Bill hasn’t left the chair in days. Grace says the gunshot wound is healing well, and she hopes he knows how much he has to live for. Bill says he feels lucky knowing he could have lost his son, and it would have been his fault for freeing Luna. Liam says it’s over and they’re good. Bill is so proud of him for saving the mother of his child. Grace listens as Bill asks why he didn’t tell him about the tumor. Liam has no words.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric (John McCook) are in the office with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and she’s thinking about taking some days away from the office. Ridge points out that Luna is no longer a threat because Liam saved the day. Eric can’t believe he has brain cancer. Brooke pledges to be there for both Hope and Steffy. Eric has business meetings in Naples and offers Brooke the chance to go with him and with Ridge.

Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) talk about the Naples trip. Donna jokes that Eric will be excited about the pizza, and Taylor agrees that Ridge feels the same way. Taylor asks about Brooke going. She wants to know if Donna would encourage Brooke to go, and Donna thinks it’s a good idea.

Eric says there’s a lot of energy in Naples right now, and Brooke points out that there have been so many iconic moments in Italy. It’s a shame Steffy can’t go, but Brooke says she looks forward to making new memories in Naples.

Bill says he understands why Liam didn’t tell him, but Liam says it was about not spending the last time he has left mourning. Bill vows that he’ll support him however he can. Liam says that being shot makes him think he’s not ready to go, and if he didn’t get killed by being shot, he’s going to fight the tumor, too.

Grace asks to see Bill outside, but before he leaves, he tells Liam he loves him. Grace takes Bill to a private room and says that she heard Liam say that he wants to fight. Bill asks if there’s any hope for him, and Grace says that there is.

Donna says Brooke is popular in Italy, and Taylor agrees that having her on the trip will increase Forrester Creations’ exposure there. Donna wants to know how Taylor really feels about the idea. Taylor says she trusts Ridge. She mentions that she’s heard Nick is back, and Donna smiles.

Eric, alone with Ridge, says that Italy has always been magical for him and for Brooke. Ridge tells him to let Brooke enjoy her time away, especially with Nick “sniffing around.”

Nick (Jack Wagner) arrives in the design office and asks Brooke how things are going. He’s heard about the shooting. He knows Liam is a strong guy, and the company should throw a parade in his honor. Brooke says it will have to wait until after Naples. “Brooke, what are you doing?” Nick asks about her decision to go to Italy with Ridge.

Bill asks about Grace’s plan. She’s been researching some options, and the results “have been promising.” Bill is ready to hear all about it, flaunting his money and influence. Grace says it’s experimental, and it’s not something the hospital will sign off on. She says this is experimental and that means expensive, as in upwards of a million dollars.

Bill doesn’t care. He’ll pay whatever amount to make it happen. She’s glad Bill is on board. “Now we just have to convince Liam,” she adds. Grace says that what she’s suggesting is a risk, but she knows Bill feels responsible, and she hopes he can convince Liam to act.

Eric asks Ridge about keeping Nick away from Brooke. Ridge just wants to keep Nick away from Brooke because he feels responsible. Taylor walks in and can tell they’re discussing something important.

Nick isn’t ready to let Brooke go down this path again with Ridge. She’s better than that. He has business in Naples and he wants Brooke to fly there with him.

Bill explains the experimental procedure to Liam, who is blown away by the prospect of being healed. Bill thinks Liam needs to consider the possibility, but he’ll have to work fast. Liam can’t believe there’s a chance. Grace walks in, and Liam asks if there’s a chance he can live. Grace looks at Bill with an expression of concern. What’s she not telling us?

Eric says he was just wrapping up after giving Ridge a piece of his mind. “Think about what I said,” Eric says, leaving. Taylor knows that they were talking about Itay, and she has one request before he leaves. “Let’s set a date,” she says.

Brooke says she’ll be busy in Italy, and he’ll be busy, too. But Nick will make time for her, the way she deserves, and it’s what a man who really wants to be with her would do. “Come to Italy with me,” he says.

Liam reminds Grace that she told him the tumor was inoperable. She explains that there’s an experimental surgery, but they can’t wait for him to heal. Grace is convinced that the surgery will work, and she’s taken the liberty of having the surgeon flown in from elsewhere. It can’t be done in the hospital because of the approval process, so Bill will do whatever it takes to make it happen. Liam won’t say no if he has a chance. He’ll do anything to be there for his girls.

Grace has some paperwork. He has to sign, and then she can book the OR at a surgical center. She truly believes in her colleague. Bill believes in Grace because Beth and Kelly can’t lose their father. “There’s nobody braver than you are. Let’s do this,’ Bill says. Liam takes the pen and signs. It’ll be done the following day. Bill calls tomorrow the first day of the rest of Liam’s life.

Now that Sheila has been told that Luna didn’t survive surgery on The Bold and the Beautiful, will she and Deacon accept her loss, or will they start to ask more questions?

If Deacon (Sean Kanan) hadn’t persisted with questioning Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) death (nine toes for the win!), then they never would have discovered that Sugar, Sheila’s body double, was keeping Sheila locked up.

We have to think that Sheila will want to see Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) body, but if Li (Naomi Matsuda) took Luna away, then there will be no body to be seen. This will likely lead both Sheila and Deacon to start asking questions. And when there are no logical answers to those questions, then Sheila and Deacon will have even more reasons to wonder what’s really going on.

For Deacon, not knowing Luna’s whereabouts is more of an issue of personal safety. He knows she’s dangerous, and he knows that everyone he loves is a target, including Sheila, because Luna already shot Sheila. So what’s to stop her from doing it again? Unlike his quest to find Sheila, which was rooted in his love for her, Deacon asking questions will be more about finding out where she really is to keep people safe.

At the moment, Sheila is probably the only person who truly cares about the fate of her granddaughter. Oddly enough, Luna’s other grandmother (and also aunt), Li, suddenly sprouted feelings for the young woman and seems to be on a journey to give Luna a fresh start at life by sneaking her out of the hospital. (This is pure speculation, but we have to think Li took Luna somewhere to keep her from going back to jail and used the “she died in recovery” excuse to cover it up.)

Sheila would be a great accomplice for Li. She’s going to need help with Luna’s recovery, and Sheila would be willing to step in, so long as Deacon isn’t aware of it. It’s hard to imagine a world where Li and Sheila would work together, but then again, we never imagined Li having any sympathy for Luna, either.

Hope reveals that Liam has a brain tumor in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 14, 2025.

We start the new week with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) sitting at Liam’s (Scott Clifton) bedside. They urge him to open his eyes as the nurse checks his vitals. Hope asks if he can hear them. The nurse thinks something always gets through. Steffy thinks Liam knows they’re there. Hope can’t believe this is happening after all he’s been through. Steffy blames Bill.

Bill (Don Diamont) wants to see his son. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) say this is all his fault. Bill knows he made a mistake with Luna, and he hopes that he doesn’t pay for it with Liam’s life.

Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) tries to wrap her head around Luna being dead. Deacon (Sean Kanan) comforts her while Finn (Tanner Novlan) confirms what happened. She asks what happened, but Finn says she needs to focus on her own recovery. Li (Naomi Matsuda) walks in and says she needs to speak with Finn privately. Once they’re gone, Deacon says he knows Sheila wanted to help Luna do the right thing. Sheila knows Luna hurt people she loved, including Deacon. But she wanted to try. Sheila breaks down into tears, feeling like a little piece of her died.

Bridget (Ashley Jones) comes to check on Liam. She hopes Liam wakes up soon. She asks Hope and Steffy if they have told Kelly or Beth what happened. Steffy says their daughters can’t lose their father.

Bill needs to see his son, but Ridge says the last thing Liam needs is to wake up and see Bill there. Bill runs off, and Ridge chases him. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrives and asks Taylor what happened. Ridge confronts Bill in an empty room, shoving him when Bill tries to get around him. Ridge tells Bill to do the right thing for the first time in his life.

Sheila tells Deacon that she wanted to believe Luna could turn her life around. Deacon points out that Luna was going to kill Steffy, and he’s so proud that Sheila defended her.

Finn wants to know what’s going on. Li asks him how he really feels about Luna’s death.

Ridge says his daughter almost died because of Bill. Liam is part of Ridge’s family, too, and he’s more a part of their family than he is Bill’s. If Liam dies, Ridge says he’ll rip Bill to shreds, but Bill says Ridge won’t need to.

Ridge asks when Bill changed. Honesty and moral compasses are nothing to him, and he demands love from his family, but he’s not capable of loving or respecting anyone, even his family. And that’s why he’ll end up being alone, Ridge says. Liam only needs Bill to love him, and Bill couldn’t do it.

Bill tells Ridge that he thought he had a good read on Luna, but Ridge says that either Bill didn’t care about his son being safe, or he didn’t care about what could have happened at all. Bill says there’s no excuse for what he’s done. Ridge says he’d better pray Liam pulls through. “Because if he doesn't, Billy Boy, this guilt is going to eat you for the rest of your days.”

Bridget confirms that Liam is stable when Grace (Cassandra Creech) walks in. She wants to examine Liam, too. Grace says they will let Steffy and Hope know if there is any change. Before they leave, Steffy tells Liam that they love him and need him to wake up.

Taylor says Sheila got shot. Liam is in critical condition, but he shot Luna to defend Steffy. When Ridge and Bill return, Hope asks why Bill is there because he’s the one who’s to blame for all of this. She asks him to leave, but Bill refuses. Hope says he doesn’t deserve their pity. She lets it slip that Liam has a brain tumor, and Bill, Brooke and Ridge react to the news that Liam had been struggling with cancer this whole time.

Li asks Finn to be honest with her about how he feels about Luna. He doesn't have to pretend. Finn says it’s complicated, but he’s still trying to process all of it. He says her life was wasted because it was full of unhappiness and trauma. He can’t believe his kid grew up like that, and he couldn’t do anything about it.

Then again, he says, he has to think about what could have happened to Steffy, Hayes and Liam. It all happened because of Luna. Li tells Finn that he’ll never have to see her again. Baker (Dan Martin) walks in and says that he was talking to the art teacher, and if Luna survives, she’s going back to prison for pulling a gun on her. Finn says Luna is dead.

Grace tells Bridget to go be with her family. Once she’s alone with Liam, Grace tells him that he can’t leave because he needs to be with his family.

Bill can’t believe what he’s hearing. Steffy says Liam didn’t want to tell him because Bill would probably tell him to man up and get over it. Bill breaks down, refusing to believe it. Hope says that even if Liam survives being shot, “the tumor is inoperable.” Bill can’t believe Liam kept so much from him. He would do everything in his power to save him, but Steffy says the only thing Liam knew was how selfish his father is.

Bill says he loves his boys and he would give his life for them. Hope says she listened to Liam for years, saying he tried so hard to win his father’s approval. Bill tells them that his son isn’t going to die. They just had a great conversation. Steffy says Bill had better hope Liam doesn’t die because they’ll have to tell their girls, and he’ll be sorry. Finn and Bridget rush up and tell everyone that Liam is responding.

Hope, Steffy and Finn rush in, and Steffy tells Liam to wake up for their daughters. They gasp when he starts to open his eyes. After a struggle, his eyes slowly open, and he sees Hope and Steffy. “Hey,” he says. Grace and Finn share smiles as Steffy thanks God he’s awake.

Nick wants to get Brooke away from Ridge while Liam goes under the knife again. Here's The Bold and the Beautiful preview for the week of July 14.

Last week ended with Bill (Don Diamont) rushing to the hospital to be met with open hostility from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig).

Bill had no idea that Luna (Lisa Yamada) had been causing so much trouble, but his main focus was on Liam (Scott Clifton) and his recovery. Steffy didn't think Bill should see him, which likely won't last long as Bill starts throwing his weight around.

No one is really talking about Luna now that Li (Naomi Matsuda) says she's dead, but there's evidence that points to Luna being very much alive after her surgery. What's Li's game and why is she suddenly so invested in Luna? It's a mystery.

Here's the look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week:

As we can see, Nick (Jack Wagner) is back this week to convince Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that Ridge is no good for her. He's not going to change and she'd be happier if she was with Nick. He wants Brooke to join him in Italy, which means saying goodbye to Ridge once and for all.

Bill wants to know what Liam's chances are, but what we don't know is whether he's talking about being shot or if he finally knows that Liam is dying of a brain tumor. We can only imagine that it was Hope (Annika Noelle) who gave him the news, and now Bill is trying to play catch up to save his son's life. When Grace (Cassandra Creech) says there's a chance, the next thing we know is that Liam is being prepped for surgery, and he's awake.

Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget (Ashley Jones) are upset about a decision that's been made. Finn says it's "not standard protocol" and we can only imagine that he's talking about Bill and Grace discussing surgery for Liam.

At the end of the clip, we see Grace receiving a sum of one million dollars and she looks relieved. Now we have to wonder what's really going on, and does she have a miracle cure for Liam or is this all smoke and mirrors to extort money from Bill?

We're excited to see what happens as the summer drama starts to heat up on The Bold and the Beautiful this week.

When Bill arrived at the hospital in the July 11 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, he was shocked to discover how angry everyone was at him when all he wanted to do was to see Liam. This week’s spoilers reveal that he’ll be stealing Liam away from the hospital, but why? What causes him to take action? What’s his plan, and will he end up helping or hurting Liam in the long run?

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) got the shock of his life upon showing up at the hospital. He’d been alerted that Liam (Scott Clifton) was shot, but he wasn’t expecting to learn that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was responsible for it. He was immediately met by a hostile Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who wanted Bill to know that none of this would have happened if he hadn’t pulled strings to get Luna released from prison.

All Bill wanted was to see his son. He was shocked and devastated to learn he’d been shot — and he still has no idea that his son was already dying from an inoperable brain tumor.

In this week’s spoilers, it is revealed that Liam goes under the knife again, this time with Grace (Cassandra Creech). By Thursday’s episode, Bill “whisks an unconscious Liam away from the hospital” and that’s that.

Now, given that Finn (Tanner Novlan) was the one to remove the bullet when Liam initially arrived at the hospital, we have to wonder whether Grace’s operation is tied to the brain tumor and that’s the reason Bill decides to continue Liam’s care elsewhere. Dollar Bill clearly has a plan here — it’s not like he’s making a decision to care for Liam at home because that would be foolish.

It seems like Bill may have learned about his son’s condition (probably through Hope, who was urging Liam to tell Bill) and then he made some calls to find out where his son could receive the best care. And then, regardless of medical advice, he made the decision to move Liam to wherever he needed to be to get the best care possible.

Bill is known for being impulsive. It didn’t help learning that his son was injured because of a decision he made to try to help Luna, but instead of admitting he was wrong, he’s going to focus on doing whatever he can to fix things. And helping his son to survive is the first order of business.

Bill is shocked to learn about Luna as he arrives at the hospital in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 11, 2025.

We wrap up the week at the hospital, where Li (Naomi Matsuda) delivers the news to Poppy (Romy Park), who isn't upset at all that Luna died. “I’m glad my daughter’s dead,” she says.

Deacon (Sean Kanan) brings Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) a drink. She’s feeling better, but he says she needs to be careful. When he got the call from the hospital, he thought he had lost her. She assures him that she’s still there, but minus a toe. “Eight is perfect if it’s on you,” he says, kissing her. Sheila says this is a reason to put her toe cookies on the menu again. She tries to get up to go see Luna, but Deacon says she needs to rest. He promises to go check on her, but he doesn't want to leave Sheila yet. “Or what’s left of you,” he adds, earning a playful swat from his wife.

Li leads Poppy into a room. She’s furious that Poppy is “glad” that Luna is dead. Li calls her sister “disgusting” for being so callous, but Poppy says she’s “happy to be rid of her.” Li is furious. “Luna never had a chance,” Li says.

Finn (Tanner Novlan), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) go in to see Liam (Scott Clifton), who hasn’t awakened yet. Steffy and Hope sit at his bedside and tell him they're safe because of him. He fought for them, so they need him to keep fighting. Hope says they’re fighting for him, too. “We can’t lose you,” Hope says. Finn smiles at them, but he’s still upset about Luna.

Deacon says he’s glad they can joke about her eight toes, but he knows it could have been worse. Sheila says it was an accident, and she’s right there. He wants to know how Sheila knew Luna was at the beach house, and Sheila says Luna told her about leaving “with a bang,” and it didn’t sit right. Deacon wonders if Luna is beyond help, but Sheila wonders if they’re actually very much alike, given that Sheila shot Brooke and Taylor. Sheila begs Deacon to go see how Luna is doing, and he agrees.

Poppy can’t believe Li is judging her after never giving any consideration about them before. Li says Luna was her niece and granddaughter, and she was such a great child. She knows she would have been better if she hadn’t been raised by a “pill-popping sex addict.” Li is ashamed to be related to her.

Deacon stops into Liam’s room to check on him. Finn says Liam is ok, but when Deacon asks about Luna, Finn’s expression changes.

Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) delivers coffee to Steffy and Hope, saying he called Wyatt, but he didn’t pick up. He didn’t want to leave the news on Wyatt’s voicemail. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) rush in and hug Steffy, who was so afraid of losing Liam.

A nurse tends to Sheila’s foot. She wants to ask about Sheila’s toe, and Sheila makes a joke about not being able to waltz anymore. Deacon and Finn walk in, and Finn asks how she’s doing. Sheila is very happy to see him. She’s been so worried about Luna.

Li can’t believe how cruel Poppy is, but Poppy says she’s “relieved.” Poppy reminds her sister of Luna’s crimes and points out that Kelly or Hayes could have been hurt. Poppy is happy that she’ll never have to see Luna again. Li says Poppy was so busy with men and drugs that she didn’t hear her daughter’s cry for help. “I pity that girl,” Li says. “God rest Luna’s poor, tortured soul.”

Ridge calls Liam a hero. Steffy says Liam and Sheila saved her life. Taylor can’t believe Luna shot her own grandmother. Ridge says Liam will be all right, but Hope and Steffy share a look. Steffy shares that Liam has been struggling for a while now. Bill (Don Diamont) runs in, and Steffy says he’s the reason Liam is fighting for his life. Luna shot him, she says, which leaves Bill speechless. Steffy told him he did something stupid, but Bill didn’t listen. She wants him to leave, but Bill refuses to leave his son.

Sheila wants to know how the surgery went, but Finn hesitates. Sheila can imagine it’s hard for Finn, but she’s her granddaughter, and she doesn’t want to give up on her. Finn says Li and Bridget worked on Luna, but she didn’t make it. “Luna is gone,” he says. Sheila refuses to believe it. Deacon rushes to comfort her while Finn watches numbly.

Hope and Carter walk into Liam’s room. She goes to the bedside to talk to him. She says she knows he’s tired from battling the tumor and now he’s been shot, but she needs him to keep fighting because he promised he would. She’s not ready to lose him. “This can’t be goodbye,” she says.

Bill knows they hate him, and he hates himself. Bill says he needs to see Liam, but Taylor and Steffy say he’s the last person to see him. Bill thought he could help Luna, but then Steffy says Luna pulled a gun on Will, and Will wore a wire to trap her. He can’t believe he’s just learning this now.

Ridge says if Liam dies, it will haunt him for the rest of his life. Bill says he’s already haunted by how poorly he treated his son, but Liam loved him anyway. He admits his son is a better man than he’ll ever be. Taylor watches sympathetically as Bill pledges to hold his son and encourage him to fight. That’s one thing he gave him, the will to fight. “My son has to live,” Bill says, which sends Steffy running to Liam’s room.

When Steffy walks in, she asks Hope if there have been any changes. She says Liam will make it through, and Kelly and Beth won’t lose their father. Steffy and Hope hug each other as they watch Liam fighting for his life.

Despite the circumstances, will Dollar Bill continue refusing to accept blame for everything that Luna has done in The Bold and the Beautiful?

At this point, Bill (Don Diamont) is rushing to the hospital to see Liam (Scott Clifton) because Luna (Lisa Yamada) shot him. He has no idea that Liam was already dying of a brain tumor.

He knows Luna has been up to no good, but Bill has been blissfully unaware of everything that has transpired since she left the Spencer Estate thanks to the pardon he secured for her.

He doesn’t know that Luna has been targeting Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and interacting with Hayes (Bryan David Garlick). He doesn’t know that Luna has been fixated on Will (Crew Morrow) and that Will attempted to ensnare Luna in a sting operation that ended with her aiming a gun at him.

Bill has somehow remained oblivious to it all.

Now he’s walking into a hornet’s nest. Steffy and Hope (Annika Noelle) are devastated that Liam has been shot, of course, but the even bigger travesty is that Liam was dying already. His days are numbered and now, thanks to Luna, they’ve possibly been cut even shorter.

Bill hasn’t wanted to admit that he did anything wrong when he brought Luna to his home on house arrest, or when he obtained a full pardon for her. The only person who seemed happy to have Luna running free was Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), but things have changed now that Nine-Toed Sheila is down to eight toes after Luna shot her in the foot. (Talk about an insult to injury…)

All Bill wants is to see his son, but will he find that he can’t get through to Liam without admitting, once and for all, that he royally messed up by getting Luna out of jail? Upon learning that Luna is dead, will he double down that it was the right call to give her a chance at a better life than what she had with her mother?

Bill’s walking into the lion’s den as he heads to the hospital to see his son. The big question is whether he’ll be able to say he’s sorry for the damage he’s caused, or if he’ll double down and make things even worse by refusing to acknowledge his role in the whole mess.
