The Paper (Peacock)

The Office is, without a doubt, one of my favorite shows of all time. If you were to ask my friends, they’d probably tell you I can even quote lines from specific episodes of the series. It’s because of my love for The Office that I’m optimistic about the sequel show, The Paper.

The new mockumentary follows the employees of a dying newspaper in Toledo, Ohio, as they try to deal with job uncertainty along with the ebbs and flows of their personal lives. The concept of The Paper and The Office are similar, I just want the comedy of both shows to be similar as well. — Terrell Smith

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 (AMC)

After spending the first two seasons in France, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 is moving to Spain. Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) are still trying to get home and it looks like there could be a path, but it means venturing into Spain. They’ll face new challenges and new threats in addition to the hordes of undead wandering around.

Daryl Dixon will spend the next two seasons in Spain before the series bows at the end of season 4, so fans will be watching to see how Carol and Daryl’s arrival sets up the beginning of the end of their journey. — Sarabeth Pollock

Only Murders in the Building season 5 (Hulu)

It's just not fall without an Only Murders in the Building mystery to solve. Since 2021, the series has probably been my favorite show on TV thanks to their clever mysteries, fantastic writing and directing, great supporting casts, but most importantly the wonderful and hilarious chemistry between stars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short.

The show has yet to let me down, which is why I'm stoked to watch Only Murders in the Building season 5, which will attempt to solve who killed the Arconia's doorman Lester, with a host of suspects and new guest stars to choose from.

Only Murders in the Building season 5 premieres Tuesday, September 9, exclusively on Hulu.

High Potential season 2 (ABC)

I started High Potential when it premiered on ABC last fall and loved Kaitlin Olson’s performance as a struggling single mom who has an incredibly high IQ and becomes a consultant for the LAPD, but I got behind on the show and have had to play catch up. But I’m determined to stay up to date with High Potential season 2, as it is probably my most anticipated network TV show this fall.

I'm excited to see Olson’s Morgan Gillroy back on the case, using her unorthodox investigating skills, bantering with her partner (Daniel Sunjata) and trying to unravel what happened to her husband after he mysteriously disappeared years earlier. — Michael Balderston

Gen V season 2 (Prime Video)

It’s been nearly two years since Gen V premiered, and as a fan of nearly all things The Boys, you can imagine my excitement to see the spinoff series pick up where it left off with Gen V season 2.

With Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway) and the other actual “heroes” now portrayed as enemies of Homelander (Antony Starr) and Vought, I’m intrigued to see how the young supes get out of their predicament. On a sadder note, based on the trailer, I get the sense that the real-life death of show star Chance Perdomo, who portrayed Andre, will be handled with care and respect in the new episodes. — Terrell Smith

Love Island Games season 2 (Peacock)

Love Island Games season 2 finally arrives this fall, nearly two years since the first season of the series premiered. Having become a major fan of Love Island USA and just wrapped Love Island USA season 7, the biggest season of the franchise to date, I’m ready to see which past islanders will be competing in the next round of Love Island Games and what romantic connections will be formed.

I’m hoping to see Love Island USA season 5’s Leo and season 7’s Coco, Andreina Santos-Marte and Jeremiah all back on screen in Love Island Games season 2. — Terrell Smith

Reasonable Doubt season 3 (Hulu)

During its tenure on air, Reasonable Doubt has provided a nice fix for my craving for high-octane legal dramas. With Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder and Your Honor, all resting in the annals of TV history, Reasonable Doubt has stepped into the void and is doing an exceptional job showcasing the journey of high-profile attorney Jax Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi).

Since Reasonable Doubt season 2 ended on a cliffhanger in regards to Jax and Lewis (McKinley Freeman) being sued over the death of Lewis’ baby with Toni (Tristan Cunningham), I can't wait to see if this becomes the case Jax is dealt a loss. — Terrell Smith

Chad Powers (Hulu)

Ted Lasso was born from a NBC Sports commercial for the Premier League; is our next great sports comedy going to have similar origins?

Chad Powers stars Glen Powell as a disgraced college quarterback who attempts to get a second chance at glory by donning some makeup and a wig and going by the alias Chad Powers to be a walk-on at a struggling program. The series was inspired by a prank video that featured two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Eli Manning attend tryouts at Penn State.

Ted Lasso may be lofty expectations, but I’ve been a big fan of just about everything Powell has done in recent years, so count me in on this one. — Michael Balderston

Chad Powers premieres Tuesday, September 30, exclusively on Hulu.

Task (HBO)

Remember how Mare of Easttown, the Kate Winslet-led crime drama, had us all hooked back in 2021? Well, Brad Ingelsby, the creator of Mare of Easttown, is back with another series set in the Philadelphia suburbs.

In Task, Mark Ruffalo stars as an FBI agent who leads a task force created to put an end to a violent string of robberies in the area. There won’t be any mystery for audiences as to who is doing the crimes, as Tom Pelphrey (Outer Range) has been tapped for that role, but the hunt by Ruffalo and his team to take him down has the potential to be pretty compelling TV. And the pedigree of HBO and Ingelsby's last series bodes well. — Michael Balderston

There is no confirmed premiere date for Task at this time, though HBO has confirmed that the series will premiere in September, streaming simultaneously on HBO Max.

Abbott Elementary season 5 (ABC)

Over the past four seasons, Abbott Elementary has absolutely been the best comedy series in my opinion, so, of course, I’m excited for Abbott Elementary season 5. I can’t wait to see Janine (Quinta Brunson) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams) take their relationship to the next level, Ava (Janelle James) get reacquainted with her job as principal and what other obstacles the Abbott crew faces as they just try to teach in this modern age. Also, who doesn’t want to see more quirky moments from Mr. Johnson (William Stanford Davis)? — Terrell Smith

Nobody Wants This season 2 (Netflix)

If Kristen Bell is in it, I’m usually invested in the project (sans Frozen, which I’ve embarrassingly enough haven’t seen). So when Nobody Wants This debuted last year on Netflix, I quickly powered through the episodes and loved the funny take on opposites attracting and falling in love. She was brilliant as Joanne, an agnostic dating podcaster, falling for Adam Brody’s Noah, a modern rabbi.

In season one, the duo faced a few obstacles as a couple, so I’m left wondering what additional obstacles they may face in season 2, especially given Noah’s promotion in the temple. — Terrell Smith

Talamasca: The Secret Order (AMC)

The Anne Rice Immortal Universe is expanding with a brand new spinoff, Talamasca: The Secret Order. Based on the secretive society of observers who keep watch over the world’s supernatural residents, the series will be a spy thriller that sees the agents furtively keeping tabs on witches, vampires and other supernatural beings all over the world.

What we love about this series is that it has the potential for lots of crossovers between Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches, so that means we get to see more from our favorite immortals. — Sarabeth Pollock

Talamasca: The Secret Order premieres Sunday, October 26, on AMC and AMC Plus.

Down Cemetery Road (Apple TV Plus)

Slow Horses remains one of my favorite shows on TV, and I’m excited about Slow Horses season 5. However, I’m just a bit more intrigued by the potential of Down Cemetery Road, a new Apple TV Plus series that is based on a book series by Slow Horses author Mick Herron.

Emma Thompson stars as a private investigator who helps Ruth Wilson in the search for a missing young girl, which quickly spirals into a wide-ranging conspiracy.

Premiering right after Slow Horses ends, it could be the perfect complimentary series and another exciting thriller to stream on Apple TV Plus. — Michael Balderston

Down Cemetery Road premieres Wednesday, October 29, exclusively on Apple TV Plus.

The American Revolution (PBS)

2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, so there are going to be plenty of celebrations revolved around that, including probably more than a few TV specials. It’s a little early, but one of those is a PBS documentary series from Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David P. Schmidt, The American Revolution.

Burns has made a name for himself with his in-depth documentaries, including previous ones about the Civil and Vietnam wars. We all know the basics about the American Revolution, but expect for Burns and his co-creators to dive into things that we may never have known about but should not be forgotten. — Michael Balderston

Stranger Things season 5 (Netflix)

At long last, the final season of Stranger Things is here. It’s been more than three years since Stranger Things season 4 set up the end game in the battle between our Hawkins heroes and the Upside Down, so expectations are high for the Duffer Brothers and company to close out the series.

Netflix is making sure that the series is at least getting an epic rollout, with Stranger Things season 5’s eight episodes broken into three parts. The first four premiere in time for Thanksgiving, the next three as a Christmas Day treat, and the Stranger Things finale dropping on New Year’s Eve.

I honestly am having a hard time remembering a series that has had this much anticipation around its finale since Game of Thrones. Here’s hoping they stick the landing better. — Michael Balderston

When Kim Kardashian dazzled critics with her turn as a devious attorney in American Horror Story: Delicate, Ryan Murphy quickly recruited her for another series he was dreaming up. All’s Fair is the story of a powerful Los Angeles law firm run by women. Kardashian plays the firm’s divorce lawyer who works with her team to get the best deal for her clients.

Halloween Baking Championship season 11 (Food Network)

Spooky season is on the way and there’s nothing like Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship to get you in the mood to bake up some terrifyingly tasty treats. The series, now in its 11th season, features bakers who let their imaginations run wild as they create some of the most extraordinary confectionary creations ever seen.

Halloween Baking Championship season 11 premieres this fall on Food Network.

Holiday Touchdown: A Bill’s Love Story (Hallmark Channel)

Hallmark Channel partnered with the NFL in 2024, leading to their crossover film, Holiday Touchdown: A Chief’s Love Story, which premiered during Countdown to Christmas 2024. This season, Hallmark is heading to Buffalo to bring their brand of holiday magic to the Bills Mafia. Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario and Tony Danza star in what’s sure to be a holiday classic for years to come, especially if you’re a Bills fan. The movie will arrive during the 2025 Countdown to Christmas celebration. — Sarabeth Pollock

Holiday Touchdown: A Bill’s Love Story premieres this fall on Hallmark Channel and streams the next day on Hallmark Plus.

Next Level Baker (Fox)

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is taking baking to new heights with Next Level Baker. After the success of Next Level Chef, a cooking competition that features three teams competing on three different levels of a moving set, it makes sense that Ramsay would expand the franchise and add baking.

With cold weather right around the corner, nothing beats a good baking show to help us prepare for the holidays and we’re excited to see how Ramsay puts his unique stamp on the genre. — Sarabeth Pollock

Next Level Baker premieres this fall on Fox.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his famed no-holds-barred, tough-love approach were on the case in Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service episode "Bruno's," which aired on August 6.

Bruno's Restaurant is located in Lafayette Hill near Philadelphia. It's known as a traditional diner with all of the diner favorites like burgers, fries and milkshakes, plus Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies, of course. So was Ramsay able to help Bruno's Restaurant? Is Bruno's Restaurant still open?

Here's the description of the episode: "Established 36 years ago, Bruno’s remains a beacon of familiarity and joy for loyal customers in Philadelphia’s community. However, Gordon’s sleuthing reveals the restaurant’s failure to meet updated kitchen practices, therefore subject to unhygienic health concerns. With a stubborn owner and frustrated son, Gordon’s assignment proves to be challenging as he urges a natural transition for the future of the restaurant and father-son duo."

We're happy to report that Bruno's Restaurant is still open for business.

The Bruno's Restaurant Instagram page hasn't been updated in a while, but there are a few looks at the updated interior of the restaurant since Gordon Ramsay's visit.

As of publication, the restaurant has a 4.2 rating on Google Reviews (with 629 reviews as of August 6).

"I've been coming here since I was a kid and while it's had its ups and downs it never fails to bring me joy," one commenter wrote, adding "they're currently on an upswing."

"I go to Bruno's several times a year. It's a friendly neighborhood greasy spoon. The food is what you would expect: not bad. The coffee is good. The waitresses hardworking, friendly, salt of the earth people," another reviewer said.

"Rarely do I write reviews while I'm still eating," noted a reviewer, "but this place impressed me so much... I wish I lived closer so I could come back."

Indeed, the most recent reviews indicate that whatever happened after Bruno's reopened, it seems to be working and visitors are very happy with the updates.

That certainly wasn’t the case for Karl Alberg in Murder in a Small Town, as the police detective moved to the coastal town of Gibsons from the big city only to discover that there are plenty of investigations to keep him busy. Rossif Sutherland returns to lead Murder in a Small Town as Karl Alberg. Sutherland is the son of legendary actor Donald Sutherland (who at one point was looking to produce an adaptation of L.R. Wright’s Alberg series). Among Rossif Sutherland’s notable credits are Three Pines and The Handsmaid’s Tale.

Starring opposite Sutherland is Kristin Kreuk as the town librarian Cassandra Lee, who forms a bond with Karl. Kreuk is best known from her time on Smallville, with other notable credits including Beauty and the Beast, Burden of Truth and Reacher.

A notable new addition to the Murder in a Small Town cast is Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden (Pollock, Mystic River, The Morning Show). Harden is set to play Mayor Christie Holman, a consummate political operator that also happens to be a doctor and a beloved member of the community.

Others from season 1 that are slated to come back are Aaron Douglas as Sid Sokolowski, Savonna Spracklin as Isabella Harbud, Mya Lowe as Edwina Yen and Dakota Guppy as Holly Alberg.

Billionaire entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis has brought his business acumen to TV before via the CNBC series The Profit, which ran for eight seasons from July 2013 to September 2021. And now he's back on television with his newest business reality series The Fixer—not to be confused with the British drama series of the same name—which premieres tonight, July 18 at 8pm Eastern Time on FOX.

Across four two-hour episodes, Lemonis meets with business owners from across the country "whose companies are at a crossroads and need to make impactful changes,” a logline for The Fixer reveals. “Struggling with tough decisions and looking for direction, he’ll assess their prospects and pick one business in the hope that they will all make a profit. As they address extraordinary challenges together in a revealing behind-the-scenes journey to success, they will benefit from Marcus’s candid instruction and business know-how in an effort to seek an investment.”

Whether dealing with a fitness studio, a car audio store, a pet wellness salon or a gourmet popcorn brand, Lemons uses his signature "3 Ps" philosophy—that's "People, Process, and Product"—as he offers guidance, mentorship and even financial investment to help the featured businesses realize their long-term goals and take their companies to the next level.

After tonight's premiere, The Fixer will add two-hour installments for the next three Friday nights through August 8. To tune into The Fixer for tonight's premiere and beyond, you're going to need access to Fox. Local Fox channels are generally included with most basic cable and satellite TV packages. However, if you've cut the cord, you can also watch Fox programming via live TV streaming services like DirecTV Stream, Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV Blue and YouTube TV.

The 1% Club, the popular Fox game show hosted by Joel McHale that sees how many contestants (and viewers at home) can answer challenging brain teasers, is not airing a new episode or even a rerun on Tuesday, July 15. Why is there no The 1% Club episode on July 15? Long story short, the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.

The annual baseball All-Star Game, aka the Mid-Summer Classic, features many of the best players in the American League and National League from this season squaring off in an exhibition game. Fox is covering the once-a-year sporting event with pre-game coverage starting at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT, followed by the actual game starting at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.

That obviously conflicts with The 1% Club season 2’s usual start time. With the game scheduled for a three-hour block, Fox is not planning to air either of its regular Tuesday night summer programming, which in addition to The 1% Club, includes the reality competition show The Snake.

Good news is this looks to just be a one-week hiatus, with The 1% Club expected to return with a new episode on Tuesday, July 22.

But if you’re not a baseball fan and would rather watch The 1% Club tonight, you can stream previous episodes on demand. You can stream any episode you may have missed from The 1% Club season 2 on Hulu. But if you’re caught up with this season and don’t want to see any repeat questions, you could check out episodes from The 1% Club season 1 that aired in summer 2024. Those are streaming exclusively on Prime Video and feature Patton Oswalt as the host.

This summer is a great time to be a game show fan, as in addition to The 1% Club, there are a number of fan-favorites airing new episodes. That includes fellow Fox game show The Quiz with Balls season 2 and a host of game shows airing and coming to ABC, including Celebrity Family Feud season 11, Press Your Luck season 6, a new edition of Who Wants to Be A Millionaire and a reboot of The Match Game.

If The 1% Club is your go-to, while you’ll be without this week, the show again will be back on the air next Tuesday, July 22, on Fox.

Callahan's Seafood Bar & Grill is a family owned restaurant that started to experience some trouble when the owner and family patriarch passed away, leaving his three daughters in charge. An insider called for help to keep the struggling restaurant afloat. So was Ramsay able to help Callahan's Seafood Bar & Grill? Is Callahan's Seafood Bar & Grill still open?

Callahan's Seafood Bar & Grill is a family owned seafood restaurant in Frederick, Md. Their story is featured on their website: "At Callahan's Restaurant, we take pride in our rich history and commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. Founded in the heart of Frederick, our restaurant was built on the principles of quality, freshness and hospitality that keep our guests coming back for more. We are farm & sea to table."

Here's the description of the episode: "Using his covert alias and high-tech surveillance equipment, Gordon gains intel on the community staple, Callahan’s Seafood Bar and Grill, which has rapidly declined since the owner died and left the restaurant to his three daughters. Callahan’s used to be the center of their familial bond, but the eldest daughter’s substandard leadership skills and the kitchen staff’s lack of respect for management and overall indifference has left the restaurant and the sister’s relationship in turmoil. Phase one of Gordon’s assignment: compel the sister co-owners and staff to take accountability."

According to the Callahan's Seafood Bar & Grill website, the restaurant opens at 11 am Tuesday to Sunday and is open late on the weekends. It is closed Mondays. There are weekly food and drink specials, and guests can enjoy karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays.

The menu features an assortment of traditional seafood fare like Maryland crab cakes, bang bang shrimp and beer battered fish & chips along with handheld options like the "local smash" burger and a veggie flatbread.

As of publication, the restaurant has a 4.3 rating on Google Reviews (with 764 reviews as of July 9).

There are lots of recent reviews, particularly from around Mother's Day, praising the restaurant. One happy diner noted the scallops and fingerling potatoes dish and the filet and crab. "Best dining experience any of us have had for a while. We'll definitely go back!" that reviewer wrote. Another Mother's Day diner added, "The food was nothing short of amazing."

Notably, however, there are quite a few reviews dating back two to three months, which was after Ramsay's "refresh," lamenting changes to a very popular menu item: the cream of crab soup. These reviewers, who point out that they frequented the restaurant in the past, have lots of issues with the new soup recipe, and its temperature.

One reviewer noted that the soup was served "lukewarm at best" and it made them "queasy" after eating it. Another Callahan's regular was very upset: "not only was the new cream of crab soup recipe boring, but it was short on crab meat (and came out cold)." Cold soup seems to be a theme, as another reviewer came back for the soup and left coldhearted: "I wanted to come since they brought back the cream of crab soup. Sadly, when I was served the soup, it came out cold."

It's worth noting that there aren't any recent soup complaints, suggesting that the soup issue could be fixed at this point.

Based on the show, things seem to be moving in a positive direction for Callahan's Seafood Bar & Grill after Gordon Ramsay's intervention, and we're eager to see how the two-part episode wraps up next week.

Wilson's Secret Sauce started out as a catering company that opted to become a restaurant, but the business didn't grow with this change. That's why an insider called Gordon Ramsay for help. So was Ramsay able to help Wilson's Secret Sauce? Is Wilson's Secret Sauce still open?

Wilson's Secret Sauce has a celebrated history in Upper Darby Township, Pa., Owner Steve Wilson's love for backyard barbecuing led him to enter (and win) several BBQ competitions, and that's where Wilson's Secret Sauce was born.

The story is featured on the website: "Those awards brought him a new moniker, that as a grilling expert. That is how Wilson’s Secret Sauce BBQ was born as a catering company in 2010. According to the Wilson's Secret Sauce menu, the restaurant is open from 11 am to 6 pm daily except for Sundays when it closes at 4:30 pm. The award-winning St. Louis ribs platter and smoked brisket platter stand out, but there are also some vegetarian and vegan options available as well.

As of publication, the restaurant has a 4.4 rating on Google Reviews (with 666 reviews as of this writing).

Back in February, a contentious battle seemed to play out in the Google reviews after a customer complained about a price change and the restaurant responded. This led to other one-star reviews about the way the situation was handled; it's worth noting this took place about a month before Ramsay arrived.

Since then, the reviews seem to have turned around for the better, with lots of praise for the food and the updated restaurant.

One five-star reviewer arrived shortly after the remodel in March and noted the "very nice" interior and a "more simple" dine-in menu. adding "Wilson’s will always be a go-to spot for us."

One review praised Kelly's service and the "huge" portions of food. "The prices may seem high," the review noted, "but we got a ton of food for our money."

Another five-star review put things into a very unique perspective: "This was the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. If an angel came up to me and said Josh, you have the choice between peace on earth, or having this brisket meal I would have a very difficult time making that decision."

We're happy to see that things seem to be moving in a positive direction for Wilson's Secret Sauce after Gordon Ramsay's intervention.

Marvel Ranch has been through its fair share of owners and things are in need of a change if the restaurant is to remain open. So was Ramsay able to help Marvel Ranch? Is Marvel Ranch still open?

Marvel Ranch has been a proud member of the Reading, Pa., community, with a varied menu as noted on the website: "Marvel Ranch a place of love and great food! Our establishment cooked its way into history with marvelous hospitality. From 1959 to 2014 they have changed owners, but never changed their ways. Take a loving and fun staff combined with great excitement, you never know what is going to happen next! According to the Marvel Ranch menu, the diner is open from 6 am to 2 pm daily, so breakfast is the focus. The Marvel Mess and Minimess (think everything on a breakfast plate mixed together) are the big stars of the diner but you can also find omelettes, pancakes and other breakfast staples. There's also a large assortment of sandwiches, including the "best BLT in town."

As of publication, the restaurant has a 4.2 rating on Google Reviews (with 832 reviews as of this writing). A glowing five-star review praised the new Marvel Ranch:

"After Gordon Ramsay came and revamped the place it is amazing." Another review praises the food and the value: "Best pancakes. And a short stack with bananas and blueberries for six dollars? Can’t beat it!"

One two-star reviewer had issues with the diner's "seat yourself" policy and the lack of staff, noting "I feel bad for the staff because I’m sure with the visit from Gordon Ramsay and the remodel there’s a lot of pressure, but some of these things for a restaurant are basic and not high level customer service."

Another reviewer from three months ago had doubts about the diner's refresh: "If Gordon Ramsey was here at all this morning he must've walked out because just yikes. Something tells me he probably gave up on this place."

Based on some mixed reviews from customers it looks like things are still being worked out, but we're hopeful that things are moving in a positive direction.

The charming Maryland seafood restaurant is rumored to be haunted, but what Ramsay finds in the kitchen is terrifying on its own.

So was Ramsay able to help MacGregor's Restaurant? Is MacGregor's Restaurant still open?

MacGregor's Restaurant has been dishing out seafood in Chesapeake Bay for almost four decades, as noted on the website: "Established in 1987, MacGregor's Restaurant has been serving upscale-casual American and Fish-Focused Fare for over 35 years. Located right on the waterfront of the Susquehanna River in Historic Havre de Grace, Maryland."

Here's the description of the episode: "Gordon’s thorough investigation of MacGregor’s Restaurant reveals scarier secrets than the rumored ghosts haunting the dining room: moldy leftovers, frozen produce, and a storage room filled with the late owner’s discarded items. According to the MacGregor's Restaurant menu, the Chesapeake Bay establishment features an assortment of seafood offerings in their starter menu including Baltimore crab fluffs, crab dip and crab claws. There's also a roasted corn and clam chowder for those who need a good chowder when visiting Maryland. MacGregor's offers an impressive selection of smashburgers and sandwiches, including a crab cake sandwich, and their specialties include crab linguine, flounder milanese and stuffed rockfish.

As of publication, the restaurant has a 4.0 rating on Google Reviews (with 1,737 reviews as of this writing). While most reviewers agree that the renovation is a great thing, there are some mixed opinions about food quality, wait time to be served and for food to arrive and attentiveness from the staff. One reviewer complemented the food in their four-star rating, noting that the rockfish tacos and Maryland fried chicken are "great choices" while another review said that the food was "very good" but there "wasn't enough of it for the price."

It looks like there may be a few things that MacGregor's Restaurant still needs to work on, but things are definitely heading in a positive direction.

While Jeopardy! will always be my number one game show (including its various primetime specials like Celebrity Jeopardy! or the recently concluded Jeopardy! Masters 2025), with the premiere of The 1% Club season 2 on Fox on June 10 I decided to give that show a try.

Though there was a good bit of buzz about The 1% Club when it premiered last summer, I never got around to trying it out. Add my boss’ recommendation for the UK version of the show, I figured it was worth a shot. Yet my expectations weren’t high. But as the game got deeper and the questions more complicated, I was surprised to find myself leaning forward in my chair trying to suss out the various answers.

For anyone who may need a quick summary, the basic premise of The 1% Club is that 100 contestants start the game and are challenged to answer logic-based questions. The difficulty of each question is graded by how many people in a wide survey done prior to the show answered each question correctly.

The first and assumed easiest question is one that 90% of people got right, then it goes down to 80%, 70% and continues down until you get to the 1% question. If you get the question wrong you’re eliminated. Anyone left standing when the 1% question arrives gets to try and answer it for a potential $100,000 grand prize.

I’ll be honest, the actual show part didn’t do much for me. I get having 100 contestants in parallel with the idea that the game often comes close to the percentage of people in the prior survey got these questions right, but it’s too large of a group. After every question, host Joel McHale talks with a player or two and gets to know them a bit, but it’s for about 30 seconds and then we may never hear from them again.

Or, in the case of at least one player that made it to the final question on the June 10 episode, McHale never talked to them (at least not that made it on the TV broadcast). I had no idea who they were and yet they had a one in six chance of winning the game. Even though other game shows may not actually give us that much more time to know contestants, with a smaller group it at least feels like we do.

Speaking of McHale, who took over hosting duties in season 2 of the game show from Patton Oswalt, he's fine. He got to have some fun banter with the contestants, but again it was often brief before he just moved on to the next question.

What did work were the questions. To be honest, it didn’t start off great, as the 90% and 80% questions felt very easy to me, but that is kind of the point of those questions; a high majority of people got them. Where my attention really started to peak was a question that featured three iconic movie quotes where you had to identify which one was incorrect.

As a movie buff, this felt right up my alley, but I was surprised that I was having some trouble figuring it out at home. I did guess correctly — they changed Judy Garland’s line “Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore” from The Wizard of Oz to “Toto, I have a feeling we’re in not Kansas anymore” — but it had me double-guessing myself.

From there the questions presented interesting thought experiments that occasionally I could get with little issue and others had me unsure, including the final 1% question, which I definitely did not get.

What makes The 1% Club worth watching is not the people competing for the grand prize, or even the antics of Joel McHale. It’s really just fun to be presented with these brain teasers and compete for yourself on the couch.

Things weren't going well behind the scenes, though, forcing a secret insider to reach out to Gordon Ramsay for help.

The Mrs. White's Golden Rule Café menu offers soul food staples like Southern fried chicken, smothered pork chops and pond-raised catfish. Fresh cornbread comes with every meal and there are lots of sides to choose from including red beans and cole slaw. And we hear the peach cobbler is the best, but you'll have to wait and see what the dessert of the day will be.

The restaurant has a 4.1 rating on Google Reviews (with 1785 reviews as of this writing). Looking back a few months, there were lots of mixed reviews on the food, including claims that the side dishes were from cans and the macaroni and cheese was watery and bland. Those complaints popped up quite a few times. However, in recent months the reviews seem to be much more favorable.

One five-star review proclaimed, "I love that I can find soul food in the heart of Phoenix! Soul food and black folks food, real down home cooking!" Another reviewer said, "One of my go to spots for soul food. You won’t be disappointed (unless they happen to be out of peach cobbler lol)."

Based on recent reviews, it sounds like things have really turned around at Mrs. White's Golden Rule Café, and we're glad to see that Gordon Ramsay was once again able to work his magic.

The two-hour finale of The Cleaning Lady season 4 has a lot of questions to answer.

Now that Thony (Élodie Yung) has been arrested, will she join Ramona (Kate del Castillo) in prison? Why did Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) betray Thony? Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady’s penultimate and final episodes, “Killer Queen” and, “As Time Goes By," as we break down The Cleaning Lady season 4 ending.

Fiona gets her house

Starting on a positive note, Fiona (Martha Millan) celebrates the purchase of her first home. But the realtor reveals another buyer has come in with a cash offer. Fiona needs to up her payment and get $75,000 by the end of the week, which she obviously can’t do.

That’s until the other cleaning ladies and Chris (Sean Lew), using the money he’s made from his viral videos, ultimately give Fiona the money so she can buy the house.

What is Jorge’s plan?

As Thony is interrogated by Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini), Jorge bursts into the room, insisting he’s Thony’s lawyer. When Joel tries to get Jorge to leave, Jorge reminds him of their agreement. Jorge thanks Thony for stopping the cartel war by getting the money from Sam Heller (John Pyper-Ferguson).

Jorge explains to Thony that Joel knows someone is working for Heller in the DA — that’s who planted the murder evidence against Jorge. Joel expects Heller’s mole to complain about Jorge going free and Thony’s arrest. Jorge insists no jury will convict Thony of the murder of Rex, especially with the tampered evidence.

But Thony still has to spend the night in jail. She is searched and attacked by guards as she goes inside. Once she’s inside, she learns that Ramona has made herself the queen of the jail. The rest of the prisoners have their eyes on impressing Ramona by hurting Thony. Thony calls Fiona from prison and tells her that she’s worried Ramona is making plans to kill her.

Thony’s cell-mate, Cheryl, initially betrays her, but after Thony makes a cream for her arthritis she decides to help her. Cheryl tells Thony of Ramona’s plans to attack her, which allows Thony to come up with a plan that makes them all sick and prevents the attack.

Later, Cheryl has a heart-attack, Thony talks the prison nurse through how to save her. While Cheryl is being treated, Thony takes a pair of scissors. With her new weapon, Cheryl gives Thony advice on how to kill Ramona in the shower, she even gives her a pep talk when Thony insists she can’t do it.

But, in the shower, Ramona knocks Thony out before she can kill her.

Jorge discovers the mole

Jorge orders Joel to get Thony out of the high security prison before Ramona kills her. But Joel can’t make a move now, otherwise the mole won’t be revealed. However, after cornering District Attorney Thornfield in the bathroom, Jorge realizes he’s the one who is helping Sam Heller.

Jorge tells El Don (Danny Pardo) they have to kill Thornfield. Jorge drugs Thornfield and drowns him in his hot-tub, making it look like a suicide.

Joel becomes the new District Attorney and he immediately files a notice for Thony to be released from prison.

Prison break

Sam Heller meets Ramona in prison, wanting her to be in charge of Sin Cara once again so they can do his dirty work.

While Thony is recuperating in the prison hospital, a riot breaks out. A tractor makes a huge hole in the prison wall and Ramona escapes. Ramona’s lackey, who is also in the prison hospital, tells Thony she is not Ramona’s target … Luca is.

Thony tricks the inexperienced nurse into thinking she’s having a panic attack, then knocks her out. After breaking into an employee’s locker, Thony sneakily escapes from the prison herself.

Jorge and Thony hunt Ramona

Thony meets Jorge at the Coliseum and tells him what Ramona has done, but Ramona has already taken Violeta (Olivia Frida Filomena) and Luca (Khalen Roman Sanchez) from school.

Using a tracking device on Violeta, Thony and Jorge track Ramona and the kids to a museum. Ramona meets with Alejandra (Mariel Suarez), who orchestrated the prison escape. When Ramona learns Thony escaped, too, she says they’ll have to kill Thony for what they plan to do to Luca.

By the time Thony, Jorge, El Don and the cartel arrive, Ramona and the kids are gone. A woman hands Thony a phone. Ramona is on the other end and tells Thony to meet her at location alone with Luca’s medicine.

Thony leaves, but calls Jorge on the way. Jorge is certain this is a trap and Ramona will kill her. They realize someone else is probably working with Ramona, and the kids could be in another location. Thony tells Jorge to look for the kids while she tries to stall Ramona.

Feng betrays Jorge

Feng (Alain Uy) tells El Don and Jorge that Ramona is going to leave on a private jet to Mexico. He gives him the co-ordinates to the air-field. But then it’s revealed he’s killed Jorge’s guards at the Coliseum.

When El Don and Jorge arrive at the airfield they’re ambushed and shot by guards. A shoot-out ensues, but El Don kills everyone by shooting a propane tank.

When Alejandra arrives at the airfield with Luca and Violeta, El Don and Jorge stop Alejandra to save the kids.

However, Alejandra ultimately escapes from Jorge’s guard and drives away from the airfield.

Thony’s showdown with Ramona

When Thony arrives at the location, Ramona corners her and tells her to get into a grave that’s already been dug. She then tells Thony she plans to raise Luca and Violeta as her own children after Thony ruined her family. But when Ramona goes to shoot Thony, Fiona knocks Ramona out with a shovel. Fiona was able to find her as Benny helped track Ramona’s location.

Even though she has the chance to save Ramona, who has a fractured skull, Thony decides to let her die, despite Fiona’s protestations. Ultimately, Thony can’t bring herself to slit Ramona’s throat. So she puts her in the grave instead and buries her alive.

Do Jorge and Thony get together?

Thony arrives at the airfield and is reunited with Luca. Jorge tells Thony he lost the cartel, as Sam Heller bought the loyalty of his associates and they report to Feng now. But Jorge refuses to let Feng take Sin Cara away from him, so he’s going to use the plane to go away and make a plan to get it back. He invites Thony to come with him so they can have a chance to become a family.

Even though she’s now a fugitive, Thony refuses. She tells Jorge she’ll be able to make a deal with Feng.

Jorge gives Thony a notebook he stole from Thornfield, which is full of the bribes and contacts he used with Sam Heller. Jorge says the book will bring down Sam Heller. Jorge tells Thony to give it to Joel, so she can use it as a bargaining chip. Thony also tells Jorge she dealt with Ramona.

Thony says that if Jorge and Violeta ever make it back to Las Vegas, she’ll be waiting, and they’ll have another chance to build a life. Thony and Jorge kiss before he leaves on the plane.

What’s next?

Thony goes to Joel’s office and says she’ll work undercover for Sin Cara and provide evidence to the DA. In return, Thony wants her freedom, and all charges against her dropped. Joel agrees.

Thony then visits Feng. She tells him she wants to become a full cartel associate, giving him the notebook Jorge stole from Thornfield so they can get close, while also threatening to reveal that Feng is gay to the other members of the cartel. Feng approves.

Thony arrives back at Fiona’s house, where she tells them that she’s free, and they all have a homecoming party. Over a beer, Thony tells Fiona what her goal is — take over Sin Cara.

Parthenon, a popular Greek restaurant in Washington, D.C., was the first restaurant to be featured in Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service. Was Ramsay able to help the struggling business and turn things around? Is Parthenon still open? Here's what we know.

Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service is a departure from Kitchen Nightmares in that the celebrity chef is being called to restaurants by an unknown insider informant and given behind-the-scenes access so as to help the struggling businesses to overcome challenges.

In the case of Parthenon, the insider revealed that the owner and family patriarch has been letting things go at his restaurant for years. Parthenon has been struggling to stay afloat while the family works to keep it running, and they needed Ramsay's help to see that his family, and his son in particular, are ready and willing to step up and take over.

Here's the episode description from the May 21 episode: "In Gordon Ramsay’s all-new series, Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service, Gordon infiltrates struggling restaurants under the cover of night with the help of a secret insider to gather raw, unfiltered evidence and get a 360-degree view of the major issues facing each restaurant. In his first mission, Gordon spies on Parthenon, a beloved family-run Greek restaurant in Washington, D.C. Once a pillar of the community, this restaurant’s decor, utilities, and hygienics are severely out of date. Gordon’s assignment: embolden the owner to modernize and pass the torch of his nearly four-decade legacy to his son."

We're happy to report that as of this writing, Parthenon is still open.

We took a look at the restaurant's website, which features a very enticing menu for the restaurant and a separate pub menu for the bar.

As of publication, the restaurant holds a 4.5-star rating on Google Reviews (425 reviews), with many diners praising the great food and staff. One longtime customer lamented the changes in the Greek salad while another guest noted in a 4-star review that the bread was "meh," leading to a comment from Junior and the Parthenon staff asking for feedback to make sure they earn the fifth star next time around. That same guest added that "the restaurant just got an extreme makeover by Gordon Ramsay and is definitely worth a visit," leading the owners to mention how proud they are to be "part of the recent transformation" with Ramsay.

Needless to say, we're thrilled to know Parthenon is thriving after Gordon Ramsay's intervention!

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is known for his no-holds-barred approach, and in the case of Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service episode "Caffe Boa," his tough love approach was needed to get through to the owner, Patrick, who refused to believe that his management style was the cause of his restaurant's problems. So was Ramsay able to help Caffe Boa? Is Caffe Boa still open?

Caffe Boa Ahwatukee is located in Phoenix, Ariz. Husband and wife co-owners Patrick and Jenny have been working hard since purchasing the restaurant in 2021, but things have not gone well; Jenny isn't a cook but she's serving as executive chef and Patrick's harsh, "I-wish-AI-could-replace-workers" (his words) mindset, wasn't helping to foster a healthy working environment. That's why an insider from Caffe Boa reached out to Ramsay, asking for help to turn things around.

Here's the episode description: "Caffe Boa, an Italian bistro which prides itself on delivering home-style cooking, is deteriorating from within. Utilizing his high-tech surveillance capabilities, Gordon exposes the toxic working relationship between married co-owners. While the husband is considered ‘Front of House Manager,’ his wife is stationed in the kitchen without prior professional cooking experience. He continues to disrespect his partner, as well as the rest of the staff. Gordon’s assignment: persuade the stubborn owner to change his poor practices in order to restore his business and his marriage."

As of this writing, Caffe Boa is still open.

The Caffe Boa wasn't an easy episode to watch. There was a lot of strife in the restaurant and so much tension between Patrick and Jenny that even Ramsay could hardly break through. After some big changes were implemented, the whole establishment turned a new page and embarked on a much healthier journey.

The Caffe Boa menu boasts Build Your Own Boa Bowls, panini sandwiches, Italian fried chicken, tortellini bolognese and more.

According to Google Reviews, Caffe Boa still boasts the 4.6-star rating (754 reviews as of publication) that Patrick bragged about in one of the cringier moments of the episode. "The whole dining experience was phenomenal!" one reviewer raved while another guest noted that "the staff is so knowledgeable, welcoming and fun."

It sounds like things have really turned around at Caffe Boa, and we're glad to see that Gordon Ramsay was once again able to work his magic.

As The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 10 begins, Thony (Élodie Yung) tells Fiona (Martha Millan) she slept with Dr. Dupont (Daniel Bonjour). Fiona is excited about Thony’s potential love triangle, but Thony insists it didn’t mean anything, it was just a way of releasing stress.

But Thony’s day is about to get a lot more stressful. Not just because she has to do the walk of shame into the hospital and see Dupont, but Jorge’s (Santiago Cabrera) war with Sam Heller (John Pyper-Ferguson) heats up, and she’s put right in the center of it.

Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 10, “Queen for a Day.”

Jorge is arrested

El Don (Danny Pardo) says the word is out that Jorge missed his meeting with Sam Heller so he could kill the cowboy assassin (Brian Norris). The cartel’s associates know Jorge doesn’t have the $250 million to pay them back for the mining project. They’re out for blood. Jorge needs two days to get the money, as he’s planned a heist. El Don warns Jorge he doesn’t have two days.

At the hospital, Thony is paged. She arrives at the house where a husband, wife and their two children have already been brutally murdered. When Thony calls Jorge upset, Jorge tells Thony to get out of the house. Jorge realizes the dead father was a member of the cartel, and the murders were committed by another cartel member. Sin Cara is tearing itself apart.

At the same time, Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini) obtained a search warrant to go through Jorge’s house. They discover a bloodied picture of the murdered Rex Blackley, which has been planted in the house by someone. Jorge is placed under arrest.

Thony (briefly) becomes head of Sin Cara

As he’s leaving, Jorge tells El Don to put Thony and Luca in hiding — as someone is going to make a move to take over the cartel. Thony says she won’t hide until whoever killed the murdered family is found.

At the Coliseum, El Don tells Thony Jorge’s heist plan was to burst into Heller’s office. He’d then pull a gun on Heller and force Heller to give him a truck with $250 million worth of gold bars on it, which Jorge would use to pay back the cartel.

Feng (Alain Uy) arrives and says his boss, who is bank-rolling the mining business, is putting pressure on him to get the millions back from the cartel. If he doesn’t, his boss will destroy the cartel. Thony lies and says Jorge is in prison as part of a ruse. She also insists that while Jorge is in prison she’s in charge. El Don backs her up.

Thony then goes to visit Heller and simply asks him to give $250 million for the mining deed he stole from Jorge. But Heller is still annoyed that Jorge stood him up, throwing a racist remark about Thony and banning her from his headquarters.

While telling Fiona about it in front of Benny (Chau Long), the computer hacker says he can help Thony. Benny can put a virus on a thumb-drive. Thony would then just have to plug it into a computer on Heller’s network, which would spread the virus across all of his businesses and shut them all down. Thony would then demand $250 million from Heller, otherwise she won’t give him the password to disable the virus.

Thony is dubious, but Feng says it’s their best bet. Thony tells Feng if the plan works, Benny, who used to work in Feng’s cyber sweat-shop, is free.

Thony also figures out that Jorge’s maid has been bribed by Heller, feeding him information and planting the bloody photo. She forces the maid to give her the key-card into Heller’s building, threatening her life. The maid gives it to Thony.

As Thony makes her way through Heller’s building, a camera recognizes her face and alerts security. But she’s able to plug the thumb drive into the mainframe just before security can catch her.

Security takes Thony to Heller’s office where Heller learns his business’ system is down and he’s losing $10 million a minute. Thony then points a gun at Heller and tells him she’s Sin Cara. Heller transfers the money. When Thony is safely out of the building, Benny sends the password to Heller. El Don receives the money to be split among the cartel’s associates.

Jorge turns on Thony

During his interrogation, Jorge tells Joel the bloody photo was in the bag of money the police took from Rex’s widow. He’s not stupid enough to have kept the photo around and Joel knows it. Clearly someone inside Joel’s team is working for Heller.

When Joel investigates, he discovers Jorge was right. Jorge then tells Joel he wants to clear out corruption and says he’s in the best spot to do it. Joel is obviously skeptical.

Meanwhile, Thony finally listens to Jorge’s message where he declares he wants them to become a real family. Later, when Dupont asks her out for a drink, Thony says she wants to give her husband and family a chance.

When Thony meets with Jorge in Joel’s office, she says she finally listened to his message and is open to them being a family. But then Joel walks into the room and arrests Thony for the murder of Rex Blackley.

Jorge asks a confused Thony to trust him. Joel tells Thony he told her one of Jorge or Thony would have to testify against the other and that he gave her every chance. As Thony is led away in handcuffs she asks Jorge why he has seemingly testified against her and blamed her for Rex’s death.

No need to guess who is sabotaging who on Fox’s new reality competition show The Snake, those bits of strategy and betrayal are baked into the concept of the show, which Fox describes as “social survival of the fittest.”

Part of Fox’s summer 2025 TV lineup, The Snake joins shows like LEGO Masters season 5, MasterChef season 15, Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service, The Quiz with Balls season 2 and The 1% Club season 2. A completely original concept for Fox, could The Snake become one of the shows of the summer?

The Snake is new on Tuesday, August 5, at 9 pm ET/PT on Fox.

In order to watch The Snake, you must have a pay-TV provider, TV antenna or a live TV streaming service that carries Fox (Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV all fall under the latter option). You can also watch episodes of The Snake on-demand on Hulu, as the latest episodes will hit the streaming service the day after they air on Fox.

The Snake premise

Fox bills The Snake as “an unmatched battle of plotting, scheming and strategy.” The game brings together 15 people, “masters of manipulation” because of their professions and unique skill sets, to compete in an array of challenges and twists.

In the game, the most powerful position is the Snake, which is determined by the winner of weekly challenges. The Snake has control of the Saving Ceremony, where the snake selects one other player that they would like to save. However, that then begins a chain reaction, with each player saved then picking the next person that will be saved (will they go with the Snake’s plan or will they go rogue). When there are two people left, the Snake will then make the final decision on who will face elimination.

Each week will see a new challenge and a potential new snake until only one contestant remains and takes home a $100,000 grand prize.

The Snake behind the scenes

The Snake is wholly owned by FOX Entertainment and produced by 495 Productions. SallyAnn Salsano serves as executive producer and showrunner, while Frank Miccolis and Kim Green also serve as executive producers.

Last summer, US viewers were introduced to the game show The 1% Club hosted by Patton Oswalt, airing on Fox and streaming on Prime Video. The show quickly became a hit, so it’s little surprise The 1% Club season 2 is back as part of our summer 2025 TV schedule. But there are a couple of changes that fans are going to want to know about with the game show.

We’ll get to that just below, but it's worth mentioning that the summer TV slate is filled with game shows. Joining The 1% Club on Fox are LEGO Masters season 5, The Quiz with Balls season 2 and reality/competition show The Snake. Elsewhere, ABC has Celebrity Family Feud, Press Your Luck, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Match Game.

But back to what fans can expect from The 1% Club season 2. Read on for all the info you need to know.

The 1% Club season 2 next episode

The 1% Club airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on Fox, but a rerun of the game show is going to air on Fox on Monday, August 11, at 8 pm ET/PT as well.

If you want to watch The 1% Club season 2, you will need either a pay-TV provider, TV antenna or a live TV streaming service (Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV) with access to Fox, or a subscription to Hulu.

The 1% Club season 2 host

Another tweak to The 1% Club this season is that there is a new host. Instead of Patton Oswalt, who hosted the first season, Joel McHale is taking on hosting duties for The 1% Club.

McHale is already a staple on Fox with his show Animal Control, which was recently renewed for season 4, and the reality show Crime Scene Kitchen. McHale also has previous hosting experience with House of Villains and The Soup.

“99% of us are unfortunately not as funny as Joel McHale, which makes him the perfect host for The 1% Club. His unmatched approach to comedy is innately unpredictable and will take audiences on a thrill-ride as they watch him in action with our contestants, striving to put their wits to the test,” said Ryan O’Dowd, president of Unscripted, BBC Studios, Los Angeles Productions.

The 1% Club season 2 gameplay

Here is the official synopsis of The 1% Club from Fox:

“The 1% Club is a unique, compelling and funny entertainment show that tests the nation’s intelligence, based on a scientific survey. It’s a chance to test how your brain works through a series of questions that all have a right answer but can also lead to a series of entertaining wrong answers along the way. Whether you’re a contestant vying for the cash prize or a viewer playing with your friends and family, answer enough questions correctly, and you could earn yourself a place in the 1% Club: an elite group of people who can honestly say they’ve outwitted 99% of the population.”

Presuming the game show follows the same basic format as season 1, the game will have its group of contestants answering 15 questions, starting with the 90% question and then increasing in difficulty until the final 1% question. All participating contestants answer each question, but if they get one wrong, then they are eliminated from the game.

Things begin in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 9 with Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) and Thony (Élodie Yung) being interviewed by Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini). He asks why they’re sleeping in separate houses and are seemingly living different lives? After answering these questions satisfactorily, Joel tells Thony that when she gets tired of living a lie, she knows where to find him.

Meanwhile, Jorge tortures people as he searches for news on where the cowboy assassin (Brian Norris) is hiding. Thony tells Fiona (Martha Millan) she feels guilty for reminding Jorge of Vanessa’s death and reopening a wound inside him. This leads Fiona to believe Thony is falling for Jorge.

Fiona takes her car business to the next level

Fiona’s car sharing business is booming. She splits the money evenly among the other undocumented drivers and still has enough to put an offer down on the house.

Fiona gets approved for a mortgage, but is unhappy with the interest rate. It’s higher because she is undocumented. She’s also told her down payment has been doubled.

A livid Fiona decides to hire more drivers, even though she was previously trying to keep the numbers down.

Jorge is torn between Heller and the Cowboy

Jorge prepares for his meeting with Sam Heller (John Pyper-Ferguson). El Don (Danny Pardo) reminds Jorge that if he can’t come to an agreement with Heller to pay back the cartel associates, then there’ll be a cartel war.

Meanwhile, El Don also tells Feng (Alain Uy) to search for escorts, as the cowboy assassin has used them in the past. Feng discovers that the cowboy assassin just hired an escort and is in a hotel room.

Jorge heads to the hotel and bursts into the room. After the cowboy assassin confirms Ramona (Kate del Castillo) killed Vanessa with her bare hands, the pair get into a fist-fight that results in Jorge choking the cowboy assassin to death. Killing the cowboy assassin, though, has caused Jorge to miss his meeting with Heller.

El Don says Jorge’s actions have threatened to tear the cartel apart, as others loyal to Ramona will notice he’s disappeared. Jorge wants El Don to let everyone in Ramona’s prison know she is the face of Sin Cara, knowing that they will want to kill her.

Thony’s hospital is targeted

Earlier in the episode, Maria (Dani Oliveros), a drug mule, is knocked unconscious, but not before she sees the Cowboy assassin walk into the makeshift operating room..

Maria is eventually dropped off at Thony’s hospital, where Thony and Dupont (Daniel Bonjour) examine her, quickly noticing that she has been operated on. This makes Thony think Maria is part of the organ trade. When Maria wakes up, she admits to Thony she has brought drugs in from overseas for Sin Cara; she also mentions that a man with a cowboy hat was there when she was operated on, and he made sure that Maria was dropped off at this hospital.

X-rays reveal the cowboy assassin put a bomb inside Maria. This causes the hospital to be evacuated. But Thony decides to stay to work on Maria as everyone departs. Dupont stays, too, as Maria’s wound is getting worse.

The bomb disposal officers arrive and force Thony and Dupont to leave, as Maria cries out for Thony to stay. When they learn the surgical expert won’t arrive for another hour and a half, Dupont convinces the bomb disposal leader that Thony is an expert and that he’ll help Thony, grabbing her hand romantically to try and convince her. But Thony says she’ll operate on Maria alone.

When Jorge learns of the bomb, he drives straight to the hospital. So does Fiona. Over the phone, Thony tells Fiona that if something happens to her, she has to raise Luca.

Jorge manages to get inside the hospital, where he tries to convince Thony not to operate on Maria. He stops short of revealing his true feelings for her, though. Ultimately Jorge tells Thony to do what she has to do.

Thony does operate on Maria. After finding the bomb, Maria starts to flatline and Thony has to pump her heart with her hands. This puts her in the way of the bomb disposal leader, who says Thony has to move so she can cut the wire. Thony refuses to move, as Maria will die if she does. Thankfully, the bomb disposal leader manages to cut a wire and disarm the device.

Thony’s love triangle

Dupont and Thony finish Maria’s surgery. As they do, Thony comes clean to Dupont, revealing she’s the cartel doctor and only married Jorge so she can protect her family.

After the surgery, Jorge arrives at the hospital to check on Thony. Dupont tells him she just left, but Thony is still in the back of the hospital.

Dupont asks Thony if she is OK. She breaks down, saying she almost died today, she almost left Luca alone, and she put the hospital at risk. Dupont consoles her, leading to the two getting intimate..

At the same time, Jorge calls Thony and leaves her an emotional voicemail, where he confesses to killing the cowboy and says he wants their marriage to be real and for her, him, Violeta and Luca to be a real family.

The summer TV season is upon us, so let’s play some games. Game shows are a big part of the slate (don’t worry, there are plenty of must-see dramas, comedies and reality TV series as well), including The Quiz with Balls season 2, Fox’s game show that proved quite the hit with audiences in summer 2024.

While the title gives you a broad sense of what the show is, let’s dive a little deeper into what The Quiz with Balls offers viewers.

The game show is described by Fox as a “high-stakes quiz show with a large-scale physical competition.” In each episode, two families are competing for a grand prize of $100,000. Each family must work together to answer multiple-choice questions. However, the twist is that the teams are standing on a high platform above a pool, and for each question a giant ball is allocated to a single spot where one of the family members is standing. If they get the question right, the ball will stop before it reaches the contestant. If they get the question wrong, the contestant is knocked into the pool, removing that player from the game.

The more players each team loses, the harder the questions get. But the longer they last, the more money they are able to bank. But when there is only one dry contestant left, they then compete in the final round for the $100,000 grand prize.

It's time for another beloved Fox reality competition to return for the summer. This beloved show features talented contestants and everyone's favorite building blocks: LEGO. LEGO Masters season 5 shares Monday nights with America's Most Wanted.

Here's the synopsis of LEGO Masters season 5 from Fox:

"Imagination, design and creativity are brought to life when teams of LEGO enthusiasts go head-to-head, with infinite possibilities and an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks. Once again, teams of two will compete against each other in even more ambitious brick-building challenges – including a masquerade party and a colossal wedding cake challenge, with additional episodes celebrating iconic IPs including Star Wars, Wicked and Batman – to be crowned the country’s most talented amateur LEGO builders. In each episode, Arnett, alongside expert Brickmasters Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard, will encourage the builders, introduce incredible challenges and put their creativity and skills to the test. The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 8 begins at the hospital, where Dr. Dupont (Daniel Bonjour) inspects Thony’s (Élodie Yung) gunshot wound. She has returned to work after just six days, rather than the 10 that Dupont insisted. Dupont advises Thony to go to meetings for people who are in dangerous relationships, but she politely declines.

Dupont and Thony then suddenly have to deal with a mass casualty event after a bomb explodes at one of Sam Heller’s (John Pyber-Ferguson) factories. Thony immediately knows who is responsible — Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) and the cartel.

Will Thony get caught in the middle of Jorge and Sam Heller’s battle again? Plus, she does some digging to figure out if Ramona (Kate del Castillo) was involved in Vanessa’s death?

Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 8, “I Heard It Through the Grapevine.”

Chris’ new business manager

Chris (Sean Lew) is already spending the money he’s made from his viral videos. They’re so popular that Chris and Ted sign a deal with a branding company manager, but it has terrible terms.

Fiona (Martha Millan) briefly thinks Chris is dealing drugs, as he has so much money. But Jaz (Faith Bryant) shows Fiona the videos of Chris dancing. When Fiona learns of Chris’ contract, she confronts the manager and negotiates a new and better deal for Chris.

Sin Cara’s war intensifies

After the bombing of Sam’s factory, Jorge calls Sam and says that’s just the start, unless Sam returns the deed for the mining company.

Since Sam has the deed, he has used an injunction to stop Jorge building the mine. Sin Cara’s associates are restless as they want to see a return on their investment. Jorge urges Ramona to keep the cartel in line.

Though Jorge feels guilt about potentially killing workers at the plant, he still sends the cowboy assassin (Brian Norris) to blow up another of Heller’s plants. After the latest explosion, the cowboy assassin goes into hiding.

Later, Sam calls Jorge and asks for a ceasefire, saying this is the only olive-branch he’s offering. If it goes wrong, he’ll destroy Jorge’s life.

Thony looks into Vanessa’s death

Thony is still staying at Fiona’s house. When Jorge’s housekeeper arrives with Violeta (Olivia Frida Filomena) to drive Luca (Khalen Roman Sanchez) to school, Violeta gives Thony her Vanessa’s old iPad, as Jorge allows Violeta to play on it when she’s sick. Thony looks through the iPad for clues about Vanessa’s death, intrigued over Ramona’s previous comments about how she died. But Fiona reminds Thony that all the news reports said Vanessa died because of a drunk-driver, with even the driver himself confessing to the accident.

Thony tells Vanessa’s best friend Bianca (Chasty Ballesteros) she thinks Vanessa was murdered and wants her help to prove it. Bianca says Vanessa was convinced she was being followed before her death. Bianca says the drunk driver was actually driving away from his house, rather than to his house, when the accident happened. Plus it happened three hours after he had left the bar. After the confession, the police didn’t even investigate her death.

Thony then asks Jorge some questions about Vanessa’s death. Jorge reveals Vanessa had just accepted a job at Georgetown University before she died. Ramona walks in on Thony asking questions about Vanessa’s death.

Ramona keeps an eye on Thony

Ramona then sends her bodyguard Alejandra (Mariel Suarez) over to protect Thony under the pretense of the Sin Cara and Heller War. But Thony says Alejandra looks exactly like the person Bianca said was following Vanessa. Fiona and Thony are worried Alejandra has been sent to make sure Thony stays quiet.

Fiona feeds Alejandra food laced with sleeping pills, so Thony can sneak off to speak to the imprisoned drunk driver, who allegedly killed Vanessa. He doesn’t remember anything from the accident, saying he just woke up in the car with a bottle of booze next to him, blood on the windshield and Vanessa’s body in front of him. After being shown a picture of Ramonda, he remembers talking to Ramona at the bar before the accident, then adds that a man in a cowboy hat was there with her, too.

Thony takes her findings to Assistant District Attorney Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini), but he says there’s not enough information. Joel then scolds Thony for using the law when it suits her when she could be helping to put Jorge and the other members of Sin Cara in jail.

Thony reveals all

Sin Cara has Joel’s phone tapped and they know Thony met with Joel of her own volition. She’s confronted by Jorge, Ramona and El Don (Danny Pardo) about this. Thony tells Jorge what she has found out about Vanessa’s death. When El Don reveals further cracks in Ramona’s defense, Ramona pulls out a gun and points it at Thony.

Jorge takes the gun off Ramona, then tells El Don to kill Ramona. But before he can, Alejandra runs into the room and shoots at them.

Ramona runs away. Jorge, gun in hand and ready to shoot, follows her. When Ramona turns the corner, Joel and numerous police officers are there. Joel arrests Ramona on suspicion of murdering Vanessa. Ramona is taken back to prison.

Joel tells Thony that after they talked, he pulled up traffic cameras that showed Ramona and the cowboy assassin driving Carl’s car before Vanessa’s death.

A drunk Jorge arrives at Fiona’s house and thanks Thony for showing him the truth about Ramona. Jorge asks Thony to look after Violeta until he has found the cowboy assassin and killed him.

I’m still rocked by the devastating loss of Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) in 9-1-1 season 8. Heck, I may even rank its impact right up there with Grey’s Anatomy’s Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) being killed off the Shonda Rhimes medical drama in a shocking car crash. In both instances, I didn’t see it coming.

Even as I try to process Bobby’s death, I find myself looking ahead to the already confirmed 9-1-1 season 9, zeroing in on what’s next for Athena (Angela Bassett), particularly in the romantic realm. Now, before I go further, allow me to say that in the real world, I wouldn’t attempt to play matchmaker with widows so quickly after the passing of a loved one, but we’re talking about the fictional world here. And as the saying goes, “The show must go on.”

As I sat and contemplated Athena’s future, it dawned on me that she may have already met her next big romance. I’m talking about Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Nurse Amir Casey.

Viewers will recall that back in 9-1-1 season 7, Amir surfaced as a man who used to live in the infamous apartment that burned down in Minnesota. The very building that Bobby always blamed himself for setting ablaze due to his drunken mistake (despite fire marshals pointing to the building owner for not keeping the apartment up to code). Amir, who lost his family in the fire, was furious when he happened to cross paths with Bobby, as he agreed with Bobby that the fire was his fault.

Amir’s presence shook Bobby to his core, and Bobby subsequently attempted to make amends. Despite Amir’s initial resistance, Bobby was so determined in his quest for forgiveness that he tracked Amir to the desert where the nurse was doing some volunteer work. The duo made contact with the cartel, though, and had to rely on each other to survive. But Amir still didn't necessarily offer up his forgiveness.

Then when Bobby and Athena’s house was burned down, with Bobby narrowly escaping death, Athena suspected Amir was behind the whole ordeal. That is, until the cartel showed up in LA. Amir literally sacrificed himself so the cartel wouldn’t kidnap Athena, and she later repaid the favor by rescuing him.

With all that being said, Amir and Athena’s scenes together made for great TV. They weren’t romantic in nature by any means, but they were still thoughtful and captivating. It’s easy to picture those convos becoming more personal should the two bump into each other in the future. Knowing both characters have experienced profound senses of loss, him a widower and her a widow, they might find their ability to relate to one another on that front oddly comforting as they're able to be raw and vulnerable.

It’s also worth noting that Warner stated just last month that he’s open to returning to the series. In an interview with TV Insider, when asked about popping back up on 9-1-1, he said, “I would love to go back. Just not deal with another fire, give me anything else but another fire.” Additionally, Warner commented that he’s worked with Bassett a number of times on projects and “it’s always great being able to reunite with her.”

Considering 9-1-1 co-creator Tim Minear is also on board with having Warner back on the 9-1-1 set, according to the article, I think fans shouldn’t be surprised if my prediction rings true.

New episodes of 9-1-1 air live on ABC on Thursdays, with episodes becoming available to stream the following day on Hulu.

The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 7, “Keep the Family Close,” opens with Thony (Élodie Yung) tying a still unconscious Ramona (Kate del Castillo) up. Thony convinces Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) to leave the house early with the kids, leaving her alone with Ramona. When she finally wakes Ramona up, Thony tells her she crossed a line by kidnapping Bianca (Chasty Ballesteros) and telling Thony to kill her. Thony wants Ramona out of the family.

Ramona immediately panics, as she knows she missed her deadline to talk to Hunter Heller (Rita Volk) and the family is now in immediate danger. At that moment, a masked assassin shoots and kills the security guard, stealing his card to get into Jorge's compound.

Will Thony actually listen to Ramona? Who killed the security guard? Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 7, “Keep The Family Close.”

Thony and Ramona are attacked

As Ramona pleads with Thony to cut her free, the lights go out in the house. When Thony goes to check what happened, she sees an assassin murder a bodyguard.

Thony runs back and cuts Ramona free. Ramona kills many of the assassins that have broken into their home. After they’re cornered, Ramona brings Thony to a safe room.

They have no way of contacting the outside world, so they have to hope the assassins won’t be able to break down the door.

While waiting, Ramona says Thony is her greatest project and insists Thony is power hungry like her. Thony says she’ll never be like Ramona.

Jorge meets Sam Heller

Sam Heller (John Pyber-Ferguson) meets with Jorge. He wants Jorge to give him 50% of his mining business. Jorge rejects the deal, but Sam says Jorge is too cartel to be Ivy League, and too Ivy League to be a cartel leader. Sam tells Jorge he’s his only chance of legitimacy.

After reading the contract, Jorge becomes interested, especially as Sam is the most powerful man in Vegas. But Jorge wants to build the mine with his family.

When Sam leaves, he texts the assassins to blow open Jorge’s safe house.

Thony is shot

Thony and Ramona hear a huge explosion. They take cover and hope that the safe house door has stayed intact. After a while, they stop hearing the assassins, so Thony and Ramona walk out of the safe house to make sure the house is clear in case Luca (Khalen Roman Sanchez) and Violeta (Olivia Frida Filomena) return.

As they walk out, they find the house is now empty. The assassins have instead emptied a safe not even Ramona knew about.

However, one assassin is still in the house and he goes after the ladies. Ramona shoots the assassin, saving Thony’s life, but Thony is still shot. They have to go to a safe place, where Thony can be operated on. Thony tells Ramona to take her to her old house. But they aren’t the only ones there.

Fiona has a heart-to-heart with her kids

Chris (Sean Lew) and Ted have been squatting in Fiona’s (Martha Millan) old house. They wake to see that Chris’ latest video has had over 4 million views. He and Ted take some mushrooms to spark some more creative ideas.

But then Jaz (Faith Bryant) comes to the house to get her mail. She got a scholarship into college based on something she wrote, but she is worried her writing will upset Fiona, because it’s about her being too selfless.

Fiona also arrives at the house, where she has a heart-to-heart with Chris and Jaz. Fiona promises to start putting herself first. Jaz and Chris say they will be more honest.

Fiona then goes to see Benny (Chau Long), wanting his help to create a ride share app for undocumented workers. Fiona wants to make enough money from it so she can buy their old house, rather than living in JD’s (Ryan Sands) small apartment.

Fiona then gets a call saying Thony hasn’t picked up Luca from school. Fiona gets Luca and brings him back to her old house. But she’s very worried about Thony.

That’s when Ramona walks in carrying a severely injured Thony.

Loyalty

When Thony arrives at the house she tells Fiona to go to the hospital and get Dr. Dupont (Daniel Bonjour). Dupont, with Ramona’s help, is able to save Thony’s life.

After the surgery, Thony is intrigued by something Ramona sadid to Dupont, that she can’t watch another one of Jorge’s wives die. Thony thought Vanessa died in an accident, but now she’s suspicious if Ramona was somehow involved.

Thony also asks Dupont to keep the attack a secret, otherwise she’ll lose her license. Dupont warns Thony to not let the criminal world swallow her up.

Later, Thony tells Jorge she wants to stay at the old house while she recovers. Jorge promises to come up with a plan to keep Assistant District Attorney Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini) off their backs and maintain that their marriage is real.

After returning to the home and spotting the above chaos, JD says Fiona has to stop prioritizing Thony. JD wants Fiona to put some distance between Thony and them. When Fiona says she can’t do that, JD splits up with her.

Sin Cara goes to war

Ramona tells Jorge the Hellers got her out of prison on the condition that she remove him from power and stop the mining project. Ramona insists she only did it because they were going to kill her and then Jorge.

Jorge tells Ramona he turned down Sam’s bid because he wanted to work with his family. But now, they have the deed to the mining land, which was in the safe that they blew open. A livid Jorge says Sin Cara can’t show any weakness after the attack on his home. They have to show a united front. They’re now at war with the Hellers.

The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 6 begins at the hospital, where Thony (Elodie Yung) deals with a patient more interested in going to the Jake Paul fight than heeding her medical advice. She then gets an emergency pager from the cartel, forcing her to leave abruptly.

It turns out the Aryan Brotherhood has shot numerous members of the cartel at their drug warehouse. Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) tells Thony that Ramona (Kate del Castillo) made this mess, but he intends to clean it up.

How will Jorge fight back against the Aryan Brotherhood? Are Thony, Ramona and Jorge all getting along at the house? Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 6, “Money, Power & Respect.”

Chris goes viral

Fiona (Martha Millan), Chris (Sean Lew) and Jaz (Faith Bryant) adapt to living with JD (Ryan Sands). When Jaz is accepted into her first choice university, Chris becomes a little jealous of Jaz’s success.

After a video Chris made attracted over 400,000 views, he’s encouraged to do another video. However he’s worried it’ll bring too much attention to him, especially as he’s undocumented. But eventually Chris warms to the idea.

While filming the new video, Chris dances on the edge of a building, which leads to him almost falling to his death.

Jorge fights back

Though Jorge previously cancelled his contract with the Aryan Brotherhood, they feel free to challenge Jorge’s authority now that Ramona is out of prison.

Ramona wants to help Jorge, but he refuses because he still doesn’t trust Ramona, unsure how she got out on bail. Ramona’s mere presence challenges Jorge’s leadership of the cartel, so Jorge needs to put a stop to it.

Jorge plans a retaliation against the Aryan Brotherhood, with the help of new associate Alejandra (Mariel Suarez). But rather than fighting them, she tips off the DEA, who raid the Aryan Brotherhood and take their product. This will destroy the Aryan Brotherhood, because they’ll waste their time arguing amongst each other to find the rat instead of fighting back against the Cartel.

Jorge is impressed by Alejandra’s work. But Alejandra says she’s devoted to Ramona, as she grew up in an orphanage and Ramona was her only benefactor. This means Jorge needs to keep an eye on Alejandra.

Thony becomes a cartel wife

On a rare weekend off from the hospital, Thony takes Luca (Khalen Roman Sanchez) and Violeta (Olivia Frida Filomena) to a birthday party. But when they arrive, Bianca (Chasty Ballesteros), the snooty mother who is holding the party, won’t allow Luca inside. Bianca used to be Vanessa’s best friend and she verbally attacks Thony, saying there must be a reason why Jorge married her so soon after Vanessa’s death.

A police officer following Thony calls Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini) and says he’s watching the women fight. Joel tells the officer to question Bianca. Bianca tells the officer that Thony and Jorge’s marriage is clearly fake.

It turns out, Luca has been telling Bianca’s son about their new home, the men with guns, how Thony sleeps in the pool house away from Jorge and that he doesn’t know Jorge well.

After overhearing the conversation, Ramona tells Thony and Jorge they need to take action against Bianca. She’s already had the cowboy assassin (Brian Norris) kidnap Bianca, tie her up and put her in Jorge’s garage.

Ramona tells Thony that Bianca knows all about the cartel because of Luca. Bianca kept her distance from the family before because of Vanessa, but now there’s nothing stopping her exposing them, and Bianca is set to give a statement to the ADA tomorrow. Ramona says there’s only one way this ends for Bianca, as she’s a threat to the whole family.

Ramona gives Thony a syringe full of opioids, tells her to inject Bianca with it, then to call a member of the cartel who will make it look like a suicide. She then leaves a terrified Thony alone to kill Bianca.

Thony calls Jorge to tell him what Ramona has done. But Jorge tells Thony she has to deal with it and find a way to strong-arm Ramona. Jorge does give Thony Vanessa’s old email password, which she uses to look through old emails.

Thony ultimately does inject Bianca. She then calls the cowboy assassin, saying she’s done her part. However, Thony later injects Bianca with something that brings her back to life. Turns out she has her own plan for dealing with Bianca. After reading Vanessa’s emails, Thony learned Bianca’s husband isn’t the father to their son. Thony tells Bianca she’ll tell her husband if she says anything to the ADA. Bianca vows to keep quiet.

A complicated situation

When Ramona finds out, she’s mad at Thony, but vows to stay silent during family dinner. After finishing her glass of wine, Ramona suddenly feels faint. Turns out, Thony filled half her glass with opioids, which will knock her out for the night. Ramona tells Thony she’s becoming a cartel wife, while Thony says they’ll discuss the rules for Ramona staying at the house tomorrow.

Thony and Luca have also moved into the main house, so she and Jorge look like a real couple in front of the children. Thony tells Luca he has to keep quiet about the family at school. Luca asks Thony why she married Jorge? Thony reasons because he’s a good dad and keeps them safe, which Jorge overhears.

Before they go to bed, Jorge praises Thony for her recent actions, but Thony doesn’t like who she is becoming. To make herself feel better, Thony goes to the hospital to check out the patient from the opening scene, who she is now able to convince to continue with his treatment.

Ramona has put the family in danger

Earlier in the episode, police officers take Ramona to Hunter (Rita Volk), who wants an update on Ramona’s plan to replace Jorge as the head of the cartel, as they struck a deal for Ramona to take over and turn Jorge’s mining project over to Hunter and her family. Hunter demands Ramona take Jorge out by midnight or she and her family will do it instead.

But after Thony gives Ramona opioids that make her fall asleep, she has 13 missed calls from Hunter. Hunter then calls her father and says they have a problem, saying it’s time to send in a strike team against Ramona and the cartel.

New episodes of The Cleaning Lady air on Tuesdays on Fox, then stream on-demand on Hulu starting on Wednesdays.

Not only is America’s Most Wanted back on TV now, with an all new season of the show having premiered on Fox on April 21, but starting April 28 viewers are going to get to watch a brand new series in the America’s Most Wanted franchise for a special three-week run — America’s Most Wanted: Missing Persons.

Premiering on Monday, April 28, at 8 pm ET/PT on Fox and hosted by Fox News Channel anchor Harris Faulkner, America’s Most Wanted: Missing Persons is a new format for the popular TV franchise, centering on finding missing people and reuniting them with their families. Each week will see a panel of crime experts (one of which appears to be Derrick Levasseur) analyze missing persons cases, including some on-location investigations.

As is tradition with the America’s Most Wanted franchise, Faulkner and those involved will also welcome tips from the viewing public in the hope of closing these cases and reuniting the individuals impacted.

Again, this is a three-week special run for America’s Most Wanted: Missing Persons, so new episodes will also air on May 5 and May 12. Each episode will also be followed by a new episode of the flagship America’s Most Wanted series on Fox.

In order to watch America’s Most Wanted: Missing Persons, you need to have access to your local Fox station. Options for that include a traditional pay-TV provider, a TV antenna or live TV streaming services, like Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV or YouTube TV. There’s a good chance that this special edition of America’s Most Wanted is also going to be available to stream on-demand on Hulu the day after it airs on Fox, but we cannot confirm that at this time.

America’s Most Wanted: Missing Persons is going to help lead the way into Fox’s summer TV shows. Following the special series three-week run, starting on May 19 Fox Mondays are going to feature LEGO Masters season 5 pre-empting new episodes of America’ Most Wanted. Then on June 2, America’s Most Wanted is going to be replaced on the Monday night lineup with The Quiz with Balls season 2.

As The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 5 begins, Ramona (Kate del Castillo) enters her cell when two guards put a mask over her head and attack her. They know who she really is. They demand Ramona wire $25 million to a bank account in 48 hours, otherwise they’ll reveal her secret to the other prisoners.

Will Ramona survive in prison? Can Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) save her? Or is he too preoccupied with his marriage to Thony (Elodie Yung)?

Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 5, “Wrecking Ball.”

Thony moves in with Jorge

Thony packs up her clothes and prepares to leave Fiona’s (Martha Millan) house so she can live with Jorge, as they need to make their marriage look as real as possible.

Thony is worried how Luca (Khalen Roman Sanchez) will deal with it. When they first arrive at Jorge’s mansion, Luca is confused. But he bonds with Jorge’s daughter, Violeta (Olivia Frida Filomena). However, when the guards shoot a coyote that comes onto the property, Luca gets really upset.

Thony tells Jorge to reduce the number of guards around the house. But he can’t do that. The cartel is finishing a critical negotiation and if things don’t go Jorge’s way, the other members will turn on Jorge and hurt him and his family.

Thony realizes she and Luca are now Jorge’s family, so her concern over their safety intensifies. Later, Luca still refuses to call Jorge’s house their home, but Thony tries to comfort him saying home is wherever they are together.

Playing the part

Thony has to attend the grand re-opening of the Desert Colosseum, Jorge’s venue, so they can convince Assistant District Attorney Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini) that their marriage is real. If the wedding is deemed fraudulent, one of them will be put in prison.

Jorge gives Thony access to his dead wife Vanessa’s clothes so she can dress the part for the formal event. Jorge tells Thony about Vanessa, saying he promised her he’d leave the cartel and keep Violeta safe before she died.

Thony convinces Jorge to bring Luca and Violeta to the re-opening, so they look like a happy family instead of just a happy couple.

Jorge and Thony devise a love story to make their relationship seem more real and tell everyone at the event about it, including the mayor. Thony’s pager goes off, though, so she has to leave the event to save the life of a cartel member.

Later, Joel arrives at the event and tells Jorge that he’ll be watching their every step, as he’s certain one of them will slip up.

Fiona and JD (Ryan Sands) join Thony at the re-opening event for support. Afterwards, Fiona asks JD if she, Chris (Sean Lew), and Jaz (Faith Bryant) can move into his apartment. A delighted JD agrees and they kiss.

Feng is attacked

The page for Thony came from Feng (Alain Uy). Previously, Feng promised Jorge he’d send the bribe money for the mining license before, but before he can two people attack his home. Feng fights them off, but they injure his friend Jialong (Shu Q).

Thony struggles to find what’s wrong with Jialong, who she soon realizes is in a relationship with Feng. Feng asks Thony not to tell anyone. Feng then praises Thony for going from cleaning lady to doctor to the boss’ wife, predicting she’ll become a monster, just like he did.

When Jialong collapses again, Thony insists he needs to go to a hospital. But Feng refuses, knowing Jialong would be deported back to China where he’d die in a prison camp.

Elsewhere, El Don (Danny Pardo) realizes Feng’s bribe still hasn’t been sent. He warns Jorge if the funds don’t go through immediately Jorge’s associates will turn on him.

When Jorge finally gets hold of Feng, Feng says he won’t send the money until Thony saves Jialong. Over the phone, Jorge tells Thony to hurry up, as Feng needs to move the money now, otherwise Jorge, Thony and their children are in danger. Thony tells Feng she’ll only save Jialong if Feng transfers the money. The problem is Jialong is the only hacker who can send the money, and he’s still unconscious.

Thony finally takes Jialong to her hospital. Dupont (Daniel Bonjour) is immediately puzzled why she took five hours to bring Jialong in after a head trauma. Even Dupont struggles to diagnose Jialong. Until they realize he was poisoned from a recent tattoo.

Jorge and his henchmen storm into the hospital looking for Feng. Thony tells them to leave. When Jorge finds Feng he points a gun at him and tells him to transfer the money. As the pair standoff, Thony convinces Jorge to put his gun down.

Ultimately, Thony wakes Jialong up and Feng makes Jialong transfer the money.

Afterwards, Dupont criticizes Thony for not immediately calling the police at the sight of the gun. Dupont knows something is shady with Thony, but asks Thony to trust him. Thony says Feng and Jialong are her husband’s colleagues. Dupont is surprised to learn Thony is married, and ultimately tells Thony he doesn’t want to see any of them in the hospital again.

Ramona tries to survive in prison

Jorge doesn’t have the money to help Ramona, as he’s using it for his mining project. Knowing Ramona won’t survive a night if the prisoners find out who she is, Jorge says he’s working to get her transferred to a different prison. In the meantime, Ramona fights a police guard so she can be put into solitary confinement.

Ramona figures out the warden was behind the attack on her. The warden says he had orders to blackmail Ramona from people much worse than her. Ramona asks to be put in contact with them.

In the warden’s office, Ramona is met by Hunter Heller (Rita Volk). Ramona says to Hunter: “I assume you failed to take out Feng otherwise you wouldn’t be here,” revealing they have been in cahoots. Ramona says she fulfilled her part of the deal, so she demands Hunter call off the threat against her.

Hunter refuses, saying their agreement was for Ramona to stop the mining license bribe and put Jorge out of the mining business. Ramona wants Sin Cara out of the mining business as much as her, fearing Jorge’s dreams will kill them all. But she can only do so much from prison. So, Hunter helps Ramona get out of prison, moving her case to a new judge. Ramona still has an ankle bracelet on, though.

Now free, Ramona moves in with Thony and Jorge. Thony hides her obvious concern at her arrival, saying, “The door is always open for family.”

The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 4 beings when a bachelorette party in Las Vegas goes into the men’s toilets to take a selfie as part of a dare, only to discover Rex Blackley’s dead body.

It turns out Neto’s soldiers left Rex’s body to be easily discovered after Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) killed Neto. Jorge tells El Don (Danny Pardo) to lean hard on the District Attorney to sort out the mess.

Will the District Attorney turn a blind eye to Rex’s murder, though? Will Thony (Elodie Yung) be linked to it? Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 4, “Suspicious Minds.”

Heartbreak and promises

Chris (Sean Lew) goes to visit Camila (Esmeralda Camargo) in Los Angeles. On the way, Chris calls Camilla and lies, saying he can’t make it for her birthday. When Chris turns up, though, he spots Camila kissing another man. A heart-broken Chris returns to Vegas to drink and party with his friends.

Meanwhile, Jorge tells Chief Wovoka (Eugene Brave Rock) he is launching his mining business because he promised his wife Vanessa he’d leave the cartel on her deathbed. The Chief gives Jorge an access road through their land. All that’s now needed is approval from the mining commissioner.

Fiona’s work woes worsen

A wealthy client riding in Fiona’s (Martha Millan) cab offers her the chance to clean her mansion ahead of a lavish party. However, Fiona is being run ragged by all this extra work.

She turns up late to an event at Jaz’s (Faith Bryant) school. She still feels proud of herself, as she just picked up a new cleaning client and she made $1,700 in one week driving the cab. She only receives half of the money from the man who gave her the illegal job, though. She wants all the money, but he says he can just give her cab to someone else.

Fiona and her team expertly clean every inch of the house. But the wealthy client accuses Fiona and her team of stealing $1.77 that she’d left on the dryer. She’s then racist towards Fiona and says she’s going to leave terrible reviews across the internet that will put them out of business. One of the cleaners says she took the money because it kept falling off the dryer and gives it back to Fiona.

Fiona then sneakily takes a photo of the woman’s driver’s license.

Thony saves two lives

Dupont (Daniel Bonjour) gives poor bedside manner to Patty, a heavily pregnant woman, and her husband Carlos. When Thony scolds Dupont for his rudeness, he criticizes the couple’s obesity. Dupont then reminds Thony she is his intern.

Patty cries to Thony over putting her baby in jeopardy. Patty then has a seizure, which Thony is able to stabilize after catching it early. Dupont praises her work. Thony reveals to Dupont she originally came to the US because of her son’s illness.

Patty needs an emergency C-section, which could mean only one of Patty or the baby will survive. Dupont asks Carlos to pick which life they should prioritize. He chooses Patty. Though the surgery is a success and thankfully both mother and baby survive.

Dupont invites Thony to join him and the other residents for their weekly drink session. But Thony has to miss the drinks due to her involvement with the cartel.

The DA knows Thony was involved in Rex’s death

A week after Rex’s death, Thony still can’t sleep and is having nightmares over putting him out of his misery.

Assistant District Attorney Joel Herman (Robert Cicchini) turns up at the hospital and quizzes Thony about Rex’s death. Joel knows Thony gave Rex’s wife $50,000. Thony claims she did so because she’s friends with Rex’s wife. But Joel also knows that Rex drove the assassins to try and kill Jorge and was offered $50,000 to do so. Lastly, he knows Thony is the cartel’s cleaning lady. Joel wants Thony to help build a case against Ramona (Kate del Castillo). But Thony says she won’t be used by the FBI again. He argues the cartel is using her. When Thony learns she’s not being arrested, she leaves, but Joel gives Thony his card.

Thony tells Fiona about Joel. When Fiona tries to blame Jorge, Thony says she’s the one who murdered Rex, even if it was a mercy killing.

After getting Rex’s toxicology report back, Joel returns to the hospital. With Rex being injected with a dangerous mixture of drugs that could only be found in a hospital, Joel uses a search warrant to go through the hospital.

Jorge’s makes a big decision about Thony

Thony visits Jorge, who already knows the hospital is being searched by the DA. Thony insists she’ll just lie on the stand if the DA questions her. When Jorge questions Thony herself she immediately buckles under the pressure. After Thony leaves, El Don tells Jorge that Thony needs to be killed. Jorge wants to find another way.

One of the DA’s agents is outside Jorge’s building and watches Thony go inside. Joel calls Thony to say her life is in danger. Agents are on the way, so Thony needs to stay in the building. She can’t get into a car with them, otherwise she’ll be killed. Joel then sends a picture of Dr. Podeski’s dead body to Thony to show what the cartel will do.

Jorge tells Thony the DA is going to charge one of them for Rex’s murder. He says Thony can go to the cartel’s safe house in Albuquerque until everything blows over. On the way to the car though, Thony fights to get away, pleading for her life. She then shouts out to Jorge that she has a solution…

Jorge and Thony should get married!

Jorge immediately looks intrigued by Thony’s suggestion, much to El Don’s disgust. Thony explains if they become man and wife they’ll be one legal entity. Jorge agrees, noting that if they get married they can’t testify against each other. Without that, the DA’s case falls apart.

Thony says they have to move fast, before the DA officers arrive. Thony and Jorge escape to the marriage office. When they arrive there, though, there is a huge queue. Jorge bribes the people in front so they jump ahead. They get their marriage license but it’s only legal after they sign the certificate at the chapel.

After their name pops up on the marriage license database, Joel orders every officer to search each Vegas wedding chapels.

With an upset Fiona as their witness, Thony and Jorge go through the vows. The Elvis impersonator will only sign the wedding certificate if they kiss, though. Jorge doesn’t want to, but knowing how much of a time-crunch they’re on, Thony kisses Jorge. There’s a brief spark between the pair. Their ceremony is then interrupted by the police coming into the chapel and arresting Thony and Jorge on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Happily ever after?

Joel interrogates Thony, saying he has the annulment papers in his pocket. Thony insists she proposed to Jorge, saying she’s deeply in love with him. Jorge forces his way into the interrogation room, saying he’s Thony’s lawyer/counsel.

As the pair depart the station, Joel reminds them if this wedding was made under fraudulent pretenses to avoid testifying he can charge them with obstruction of justice, on top of the murder charges.

In the car, Thony asks Jorge if he was really going to take her to the safe house. But Jorge just stays silent.

The new series hails from Ramsay's Studio Ramsay Global and FOX Alternative Entertainment. Ramsay and Bill Langworthy will serve as executive producers, and Langworthy is also the showrunner.

In The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 3, a man buries a bag in the desert and then drives away hastily. He’s immediately followed by two cars. They embark on a high-speed chase, which results in the man’s truck flipping over. The man crawls out of his truck, but is clearly severely injured.

The cowboy assassin (Brian Norris) calls for Thony (Elodie Yung). Hours later, when darkness has fallen, Thony and Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) come to treat the severely injured man.

Who is this man? Will Thony be able to save him? Why does Jorge need him alive? Here’s what happens in “Mercy,” season 4 episode 3 of The Cleaning Lady.

Jorge orders Thony to keep him alive

In a warehouse, Thony treats the man, who has a collapsed lung, broken leg, and several other injuries. He’s in and out of consciousness. Jorge tells Thony the man she’s treating was the getaway driver for the people who tried to kill Jorge and Thony. Jorge tells Thony to leave. She says she’ll be back after her shift at the hospital.

Jorge’s fixer Neto (Yancey Arias) tortures the man to get more information from him. The patient doesn’t say anything at first, but Neto believes Ramona (Kate del Castillo) used Feng (Alain Uy) to do the hit. Jorge doesn’t believe Neto.

When Thony returns, she’s disgusted to see that Neto has nearly killed the patient she spent all night saving. Thony scolds Jorge for torturing Rex, calling Neto sadistic. Thony tells Jorge that she can get information out of him without resorting to such violence.

Thony discovers who the man is

Thony saves him, then finds his wallet. She discovers his name is Rex, and that he has a picture of his wife and kids. Thony asks Rex for more information and Rex insists he was just the driver and didn’t know what he was hired to help with. He’s already told Jorge and Neto that, but they don’t believe him. Thony tells Rex she’s going to put him into a coma, to save him from being tortured.

Later, under orders from Jorge, Thony uses adrenaline to bring Rex back to consciousness. Rex asks Thony to put him out of his misery. Rex tells Thony where he buried the money. Thony promises she’ll get the money to Rex’s family. Thony then gives Rex a painless death.

Neto immediately accuses Thony of killing Rex. Thony tells Jorge that Rex was innocent. Thony gives Jorge the coordinates to the cash Rex buried. As soon as Jorge finds the bag, he knows who tried to kill him.

Who tried to kill Jorge?

In prison, Ramona tells Jorge that she’s been hearing rumors of discontent in the Sin Cara cartel. She tells Jorge to set an example in front of the other cartel members.

When the cartel are all gathered together in the desert, Jorge attacks Neto, having recognized the band on the money given to Rex. Neto and Jorge then have a knife fight in the desert in front of the other cartel members. Jorge stabs Neto and then bashes his head with a rock, killing him. Jorge says that no-one should have any doubt that he is the leader of Sin Cara now.

Thony keeps her word

When Thony stitches up Jorge’s injuries from the fight, Jorge gives him Rex’s bag of money, telling Thony to go and give it to Rex’s family. Thony leaves the money outside of Rex’s house. Rex’s kids come outside, hoping that it’s their returning father. Rex’s wife finds the bag full of money and tells the kids to go inside.

As Thony walks away from her house to her car, an unseen person takes photographs of her from a distance.

Ramona takes control in prison

Chiqui (Patricia De Leon) knows Ramona has been lying to her about her real identity and promises to find out who she really is. Ramona has El Don (Danny Pardo), a man on the outside, get close to Chiqui’s father, so she can use the information on her. Ramona pretends to be clairvoyant, saying she knows Chiqui’s mother’s name and other vital information. Chiqui then faints.

Fiona gets a new job

Fiona (Martha Millan) struggles to keep the Cleaning Ladies business going. When one of her employees quits, she reveals that she’s started working for a ride-sharing app that you don’t need to be a citizen to drive for. Fiona is immediately intrigued.

She gets a fake license from a man promising her $500 a day. Thony warns Fiona that she might get arrested for driving illegally, but Fiona calls Thony a hypocrite considering her job. But when Fiona tries to pick up her first ride, they reject Fiona because of her old van.

While waiting for someone to select her van on the app, Fiona spots Chris (Sean Lew) joy-riding with Rose’s son. Fiona is so consumed with the failure of the business and her lack of money that she completely forgets to pick up Jaz (Faith Bryant) from the college fair. When Jaz returns home, she gets into an argument with Fiona and Chris. Jaz believes she always does things right, but is still ignored.

Later, Chris and Rose’s son clean and fix up Fiona’s van, turning it into a party van. Even Jaz is impressed as they drive it around Las Vegas.

Thony’s hospital work suffers

Thony and Dupont (Daniel Bonjour) continue to bicker at the hospital. Overworked and tired, because of her extra work with Jorge, Thony saves an elderly patient, even though they did not want to be resuscitated. Dupont shouts at Thony, as he’ll get reported for this. Later, the elderly patient’s wife Edna thanks Thony for keeping her husband alive so she could say goodbye to him.

Thony catches Dupont drinking in the doctor’s lounge. Dupont says he always needs a drink after a shift where someone dies. Thony and Dupont share a drink and start to grow closer.

After debuting the first part of Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints back in November 2024, the famed director's religious docuseries returns to Fox Nation part two this spring, kicking off today, April 4, with its Francis of Assisi-focused premiere episode.

One of America's greatest storytellers, Oscar-winning director Scorsese will serve as a host, narrator and executive producer on the eight-part docudrama series, which powerfully recounts and recreates the "remarkable stories of eight men and women who risked everything to embody humanity’s most noble and complex trait — faith," per the official series description. Each episode focuses on a singular saint: the first four installments chronicled the lives and legacies of Joan of Arc, John the Baptist, Sebastian and Maximilian Kolbe.

This time around, our four saintly subjects are Francis of Assisi, Thomas Becket, Mary Magdalene and Moses the Black, with Scorsese journeying "over 2,000 years of history focusing on these extraordinary figures and their extreme acts of kindness, selflessness, and sacrifice." The new episodes, which will stream exclusively on Fox Nation, will span the Lenten season, running through Friday, April 25.

The first episode, “Francis of Assisi,” is set in the 13th century and follows the "once wealthy and frivolous" Francis as he experiences the horrors of war and finds new meaning later in life by starting a brotherhood and going face-to-face with the Saracen leader, Sultan Al-Kamil, at the height of the Fifth Crusade.

In the initial announcement on the series, Scorsese said: “I’ve lived with the stories of the saints for most of my life, thinking about their words and actions, imagining the worlds they inhabited, the choices they faced, the examples they set. These are stories of eight very different men and women, each of them living through vastly different periods of history and struggling to follow the way of love revealed to them and to us by Jesus’ words in the gospels. I’m so excited that this project is underway, and that I’m working with so many trusted and talented collaborators.”

Ahead of officially becoming the Sin Cara cartel’s doctor in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 2, Thony (Elodie Yung) is shown the ropes by Dr. Podesky (David Gibson), the man she’s replacing.

Podesky takes her to a storage unit, which is full of medical equipment and drugs. He advises Thony not to let the things she sees keep her up at night and whenever the pager goes off she has to answer it immediately. Podesky then leaves, only to be shot and killed by Ramona’s cowboy assassin (Brian Norris) while still in his car.

Does Thony realize just how dangerous her new job is? How will she balance working in the hospital with treating Sin Cara’s criminals? Here’s what happens in The Cleaning Lady season 4 episode 2, “Le Medecin.”

Fiona struggles to run the Cleaning Ladies

After losing a client, Fiona (Martha Millan) worries she won’t be able to run the Cleaning Ladies without Thony. Fiona is so desperate for new clients she agrees to clean Rose’s (Lea Salonga) community center, even though Rose was previously extremely patronizing to Fiona and her family.

When going to pay, Rose makes some passive aggressive comments about Fiona’s business not being legitimate, all so she can pay in cash. Fiona then refuses to take the money, telling Rose she never made her feel welcome.

Chris (Sean Lew) returns to the community center to get his headphones, where he runs into Rose’s son, who he used to be friends with. He apologizes for his mother, saying she’s deeply unhappy. Him and Chris then decide to hang out.

Thony’s worlds collide

Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) drives Thony to her new job at the hospital, giving her a work visa. She’s starting a medical training residency program; after three years, she’ll be certified to practice medicine anywhere in the US. Jorge also gives Thony a brand new car, as she needs to be available for him at any moment.

Inside the hospital, Thony is immediately given an attitude by her superior, Dr. Dupont (Daniel Bonjour). Later, Dupont even scolds Thony for talking over him when treating a patient.

Aside from that, Thony’s first day starts well. But when she’s paged by Feng (Alain Uy), one of Jorge’s associates, at the same time as an unconscious teenager is admitted, she prioritizes the teenager. Jorge reminds Thony he and his associates come first, otherwise he’ll fire her.

Thony arrives at Feng's phishing call center, where dozens of migrants are tied up and told to catfish and scam people online. Thony tries to take care of a man’s gangrene foot, while Benny (Chau Long), one of the people trapped there, pleads with Thony to help him leave. Thony insists she can’t help him. Thony tells Feng she’ll be back tomorrow to give the man more antibiotics.

When Thony returns, she’s told the patient was immediately put back to work and died. Benny again asks for Thony’s help, saying he was beaten just for talking to her. Thony gives Benny a lighter, which he uses to start a fire that sets off the sprinklers, destroying all of the computers, and forcing the migrants outside. Benny then sneaks into Thony’s car. She helps Benny escape out of the desert. She even allows him to hide in the Cleaning Lady’s warehouse.

Feng notices that Benny is missing and remembers he saw Benny and Thony talking, so he goes to check things out at the warehouse. Fion, who is bringing Benny some food, tries to force Feng out, while Benny avoids them by hiding in a dryer.

Jorge finally visits Ramona

While checking Jorge’s injured shoulder, Thony asks if he’s gone to see Ramona (Kate del Castillo) in prison yet. Jorge thinks Ramona was behind the hit on him. Thony reminds Jorge that if Ramona loses Jorge she loses the cartel and that he has power. Jorge promises to visit Ramona.

When he does, Ramona tells Jorge his mining plan has put a target on his back and says he should have killed those responsible for the attempted hit by now. Jorge wants to elevate Sin Cara to a level Ramona would never understand, but she just laughs at his dreams. When Jorge tells Ramona he has a meeting with Hunter Heller (Rita Volk), Ramona says he can’t trust the Hellers; Hunter’s father runs Vegas. Ramona insists that Jorge needs her, but Jorge reminds her he runs Sin Cara now.

Jorge wants to use the access road through Heller land to transport materials to and from his proposed rare Earth mine. Jorge says he’ll give them a generous percentage to do that. Hunter wants 75% of Jorge’s profit. Jorge and Hunter barter for a little bit, but he insists he has other options, as the mine borders a Native American reservation.

At his meeting with the reservation’s Chief Wovoka (Eugene Brave Rock), Jorge promises a huge fee and a percentage from the rare Earth mineral sales. Wovoka says he’ll consider the offer, if Ramona approves. Jorge says Ramona isn’t part of the project, but Wovoka is adamant she should be.

Jorge visits Ramona again. She apologizes for betraying him in the past. Jorge says he’ll work with Ramona, then warns her that if she betrays him again he’ll let everyone in the prison know who she is, and she won’t last another night. Ramona says she’ll find out what Wovoka wants. Ramona also wants to rebuild Jorge’s reputation, as it has been damaged after the assassination attempt.

Thony slowly wins over Dupont

Dupont tells Thony he doesn’t trust her, as she walked out on a patient who needed critical care. He also knows there’s a shady reason why Thony is working there, saying she cheated her way to the job. While Dupont can’t fire her, but he can limit the damage she’ll cause, telling her to stay away from his patients.

Later, Thony returns to the hospital and sits with the teenage patient until she falls asleep. DuPont calls Thony incompetent in French, not realizing that Thony speaks French. Thony then gives DuPont her story of coming to Las Vegas and the struggles she has faced. Starting to warm to her, Dupont calls Thony an “adequate” doctor.

Thony goes to get some sleep in the break room, only for the pager to go off. She meets Jorge in the desert. With help from Ramona, he found the man who tried to kill him and now Thony has to keep him alive.

After nearly a full year away, The Cleaning Lady season 4 returns to pick up with Thony (Elodie Yung) as she, Luca (Khalen Roman Sanchez), Chris (Sean Lew) and Fiona (Martha Milan) are all being interviewed by US immigration for visas.

Chris says he’s moving to Los Angeles to be closer to his girlfriend, Camilla. Thony wants to be a doctor again. Fiona says she’s just very grateful to America. Thony is asked if she’s ever been involved in any criminal activities. She thinks, as the story flashes back to two days earlier.

The De La Rosa’s interview for visas

After helping to arrest Ramona the month before, Katherine Russo (Liza Weil) tells Thony and Fiona she will sponsor the entire De La Rosa family for their visas. She promises they will make the family’s American dream happen.

While being interviewed by immigration, Thony is told she’s lucky to have Russo as a friend. Without her, she wouldn’t be sitting there.

After the interviews, Russo comes to meet Thony. But she’s followed by two cars. An assassin wearing a cowboy hat (Brian Norris) throws a petrol bomb inside Russo’s car. It explodes and kills Russo.

Thony packs a bag for her and Luca, wanting to leave the country. She blames Ramona for Russo’s murder and worries she’s next. Fiona reminds her if Thony leaves the country she won’t be allowed back in. Still Thony and Luca say an emotional goodbye to Fiona, Jaz (Faith Bryant), Chris and JD (Ryan Sands).

At the airport, Thony tries to buy two tickets to Cambodia. But Luca wants to stay in America. He asks if Thony is being bullied. If so, she needs to fight back, otherwise they won’t stop bullying her. This convinces Thony to change her mind, as she’s tired of running from Ramona.

Thony stands up to Ramona

Thony visits Ramona (Kate Del Castillo) in prison, who has already established her dominance in prison by killing a fellow inmate. Thony guesses there’s a reason Ramona didn’t kill her. Whatever Ramona wants from her, Thony wants visas in exchange. Ramona denies she wants anything from her, however, when Thony walks away, Ramona calls her back.

Ramona knows Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) has a soft spot for Thony. Jorge hasn’t come to visit Ramona in prison, even though Ramona says she did everything for Jorge because he isn’t strong enough to lead and needs to toughen up. Claiming Jorge’s life is in danger, Ramona asks Thony to convince Jorge to come and see Ramona, then Thony will get the visas.

Chris needs money

While Fiona was mourning Thony’s departure, Chris took the opportunity to steal Fiona’s expensive jewelry. He takes them to a jeweler, who says he’ll buy them for a fair market price. The jeweler tells Chris to put his name and number down.

Later the police arrive at Fiona’s home to question Chris. The officer says the jewelry is worth $250,000 and it is connected to the MGM grand hit and robbery three years earlier. Fiona tells the officer Nadia (Eva De Dominici) gave the jewelry to her.

Chris explains to Fiona he just wanted to see how much the jewelry was worth, believing they could all benefit from the money. But now the police have confiscated the jewelry.

Fiona tells Chris he needs to find passion in his life; he clearly loves music and should focus on that. But Chris reminds Fiona he’s undocumented and doesn’t even have a car. Fiona says he can start getting money by working for the Cleaning Ladies.

Jorge struggles to make an impact

Jorge tells a number of criminal/business partners about his ambitious plan to eliminate their risks and increase their profits tenfold. He has been acquiring cheap land in the Nevada desert for decades. The land contains a deep deposit of rare Earth metals, which has an estimated worth of $13 billion. He wants to divert a portion of their profits into open-pit mining operations, which will give all of them generational wealth. He says they can ultimately own Vegas.

But after his speech, the cowboy assassin’s only concern is that Jorge is asking for more money. El Don (Danny Pardo) then asks Jorge what Ramona thinks of the plan? Jorge reminds them he’s the head of the Sin Cara cartel now. They want Jorge to speak to Ramona and get her thoughts before agreeing to his vision. Feng (Alain Uy) does seem interested, though.

Shootout

Thony goes to Jorge’s office to ask him how Ramona is still running things from behind bars? Jorge promises Thony he’ll get Ramona under control and protect Thony’s family.

As they talk, a sniper shoots through the window at Jorge and Thony. They duck for cover then escape. Jorge’s bodyguards search for the wannabe assassin. A shoot-out unfolds.

Jorge is able to shoot the assassin just before he can shoot him. Jorge then questions the assassin, asking who sent him? Before he can answer, another assassin shoots the original sniper. The second assassin then shoots Jorge, before being killed himself.

Jorge’s main artery was hit by the bullet, so Thony puts her thumb in the wound to keep him alive as they wait for the cartel doctor to arrive. Thony tells Jorge that Ramona doesn’t think he can run the cartel and she promised to get her family visas. Jorge warns Thony not to take the visas or any gifts from Ramona, otherwise they will all permanently be in her debt.

When the cartel doctor arrives, Thony realizes he doesn’t know what he’s doing. She takes control. Thony performs the surgery and saves Jorge.

Thony’s new job

Thony tells Jorge she wants to replace the cartel doctor. Even though she previously insisted she didn’t want to work with the cartel, Thony says they’ve taken so much from her, it’s time the cartel gave back.

Thony explains to Fiona that by becoming the cartel doctor, Jorge will use his connections to get her work in a hospital and get her a medical license. Fiona tells Thony the rest of the family can’t find out. Fiona now has to run the Cleaning Ladies by herself.

Later, while going to get snacks for Luca’s field-trip, Thony is cornered by several cars. The cowboy assassin gets out of the car and hands Thony a phone. It’s Ramona, who from prison congratulates Thony on her new position. When Ramona asks Thony if she convinced Jorge to come visit her, Thony says she doesn’t want anything from Ramona and hangs up. She drives away from the cars defiantly.

In Kitchen Nightmares season 9, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay traveled to Louisiana and Texas to help struggling restaurants stay open and turn their businesses around. Now that the season is over, you might be wondering about what's next. So, is there going to be a Kitchen Nightmares season 10? Here's what we know.

Fox has not released any information about a potential tenth season for the popular restaurant rescue show, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. In fact, Fox announced Kitchen Nightmares season 9 in November 2024, just two months ahead of the show's January 2025 premiere.

Unlike Ramsay's other shows like Next Level Chef, which received a two season pickup shortly after the new season premiered, Fox tends to keep Kitchen Nightmares closer to the vest. We know that Ramsay, who has been working with Fox Television Network for 20 years, has several other shows with the network, including the iconic Hell's Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars. With that in mind, it feels like a fair bet that there will be more episodes of Kitchen Nightmares in the future, even if Fox doesn't announce it right away.

Kitchen Nightmares season 9 was special because Ramsay spent half the season in New Orleans offering help to struggling local restaurants in hopes of preparing them for a surge of visitors ahead of Super Bowl LIX. Once the big game was over, Ramsay traveled to Texas to help restaurant owners overcome their obstacles to stay in business.

In season 9, Ramsay had a 90% success rate; of the 10 restaurants he worked with over the course of the season, only one, Kindred, ended up closing its doors. All of the others remain open as of this writing.

Gordon Ramsay was in Louisiana for the first half of Kitchen Nightmares season 9 to help restaurant owners and staff prepare for the influx of visitors in town for the Super Bowl. Now that the big game is over, Ramsay has also added Texas to his list of destinations for this season. This week he's visiting the Simmer Down Cafe in Georgetown, Texas. So is Simmer Down Cafe still open?

Ramsay visited Simmer Down Cafe in the March 18 season finale episode of Kitchen Nightmares season 9. Here's the episode description: "Simmer Down Cafe is functioning like a circus, and as ringleader, the restaurant has taken over the owner Chris’ life. Chris is overworked and his constant need to micromanage has damaged not only his business but also his health and marriage. In an effort to make the restaurant run smoothly, Gordon will help Chris establish fundamental systems and boundaries in the all-new 'Simmer Down' season finale episode of Kitchen Nightmares."

We're very happy to report that the Simmer Down Cafe is still open for business after Gordon Ramsay's intervention.

Simmer Down Cafe has a Facebook page and they don't have an online menu as of this writing. There are, however, lots of visitors to the cafe who have tagged the restaurant's location in their Instagram posts.

Simmer Down Cafe has a 4.3 out of 5-star rating on Google Reviews as of March 18. There are lots of guests who had visited the restaurant before the renovation and have high praise for the new changes.

One guest who started visiting Simmer Down in 2019 was so surprised by the changes that they thought the restaurant was under new management: "We asked our server about the changes and were treated to the story of the Simmer Down revival! Congratulations, it was worth the effort, and we will be back."

Another guest who hadn't been there in a while had similar praise: "We were surprised to see such improvement. The restaurant looks more like a cafe instead of grandma’s house." They note that the food "is still among the best in Georgetown."

Not all ratings were positive, though. A one-star review noted that the chicken was undercooked while another patron left a two-star review due to the size of portions served at the restaurant: "The food in top notch here, but the amount is what counts to most people. If I'm telling the truth, the portions are smaller than a McDonalds Happy meal, especially the sides, smallest ever."

This season on Kitchen Nightmares season 9, Ramsay visited Leo's Italian Grill, The Grumpy George Pub & Grub, The Verdict Lounge & Restaurant, Kings Blu Jam Cafe, 3 Southern Girls, Kindred, Iberville Cuisine & Oyster Bar, Voleo's Seafood Restaurant and Blake's Place. All of these establishments needed some tough love from Ramsay and his team and six of them remain open now. Sadly, shortly after Ramsay visited Kindred, the owners decided to close their doors in December 2024.

Kitchen Nightmares season 9 airs Tuesday nights at 8 pm ET/PT on Fox, with episodes streaming the following day on Hulu.

Gordon Ramsay was in Louisiana for the first half of Kitchen Nightmares season 9 to help restaurant owners and staff prepare for the influx of visitors in town for the Super Bowl. Now that the big game is over, Ramsay has also added Texas to his list of destinations for this season. This week, however, he's back in NOLA and he's visiting Blake's Place. So is Blake's Place still open?

Ramsay visited Blake's Place in the March 11 episode of Kitchen Nightmares season 9. Here's the episode description: "The owner of a small neighborhood restaurant, Blake’s Place, has shifted her focus entirely towards building her brand and gaining social media recognition over running a successful business. If you're hoping to catch a new episode of Doc tonight, you might be in for a surprise if you turn on the TV tonight , as the medical drama won't be there. The Fox lineup will look a little different tonight and we have everything you need to know about why Doc is not new tonight, March 4.

The Tuesday night Fox lineup will start off the way it usually does, with an all-new episode of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares season 9 at 8 pm ET/PT. However, beginning at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT, coverage of President Donald Trump's Joint Address to Congress will kick off on the network and will be followed by the Democratic response, offered by Michigan senator Elissa Slotkin. The speech is expected to feature President Trump's vision for his second term in the White House. The local news will follow coverage of the speech.

Doc will be back on Tuesday, March 11, with an all-new episode titled "What Goes Up...," and while we don't have a description for the episode we do know that the March 18 episode is titled "Must Come Down," which suggests that the two episodes are connected.

Doc has been a very popular new show for Fox. Arriving at mid-season, it's the story of Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker), a brilliant Chief of Internal Medicine who suffers a traumatic brain injury in a car accident and loses the last eight years of her memory. She's forced to navigate the new realities of her life as she struggled to piece her memory back together while getting back to work.

The freshman medical drama has performed well enough not only to earn a second season pickup, but it received a full 22-episode order for the 2025-2026 TV season. This is great news for the show given that it premiered in the middle of the season; mid-season shows typically earn shorter second season orders, but with the news Doc will join the ranks of former Fox medical dramas like The Resident with a full season's worth of episodes in the fall.
