I’m a Celebrity... South Africa first aired in 2023, but the all-star spin-off has been off screens since, with ITV focusing on the main series in Australia. But it’s finally back – with a lineup of fan favourites, from comedians and models to musicians, actors, and even former football managers, all ready to take on the South African wilderness.

It has been announced today (Monday, September 8) that I'm A Celebrity... South Africa has been commissioned for a second action-packed season.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here spin-off show received rave reviews when it aired in 2023, with the all-star version of the iconic series bringing together some of the most memorable campmates from series' gone by.

The first season of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa was such a huge hit that ITV has announced a second series will air in 2026, as more faces from the show's past return to test themselves in brand-new trials and challenges in the South African wilderness.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will once again be hosting the new series, which promises to be bigger and better than ever before. ITV's official announcement said: "Campmates have already proved that they can survive the Australian jungle, but this is I’m A Celebrity… on a whole new level, it’s where legends are made.

"The trials are tougher than ever and with that, so are the stakes. With relentless twists and turns, the campmates will never know what’s coming next. They will be faced with challenges at every turn, quickly learning that with big decisions come even bigger consequences…"

There is also an exciting new twist heading for the next series, which will see the public have the power to decide who is crowned the ultimate legend 2026.

After weeks of shocks, showdowns and survival, viewers will be able to have their say and cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast direct from London.

Speaking of the new series, Ant said: “The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series so we can’t wait to be back for more trials, challenges and surprises amongst the beautiful South African landscape.”

While Dec added: “Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their IAC Legend and we’ve heard some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I’m A Celeb… standards!.”

Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment, Reality & Daytime Commissioning at ITV, says: “We were blown away by the love for the first series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa. It was a true celebration of the show’s history and viewers loved seeing their favourite campmates return to their screens. We can’t wait to do it all again next year with a whole new cohort, and have the audience crown the winner during a live final for the first time.”

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fans have reacted on social media to favourite campmate Maura Higgins making a personal confession.

In last night's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here episode, Maura opened up about how she's 'missing' someone on the outside.

When asked if she was single, Maura replied, "I am single, but I was seeing someone before I came in, so I’m not in a relationship."She then went on to admit she was missing the person in question.

Before entering the jungle, Maura was rumoured to be dating Strictly Come Dancing contestant Pete Wicks - and viewers were quick to make the link between the two reality stars.

'Me sat at home listening to Maura talking about Pete Wicks,' wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter).

Meanwhile, another said, 'Maura talking about Pete without talking about Pete but we know she’s talking about Pete.'

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here continued tonight (Monday, 25th November), seeing new campmate Maura celebrate her 34th birthday - much to the fans' surprise.

'Twitter hearing it’s Maura’s birthday and she’s 34,' joked one I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fan.

While another said, 'Would never have thought Maura was 34. She looks much younger.'

And another commented, 'How is Maura Higgins 34!!! I thought she was 28 tops.'

The former Love Island star celebrated her 34th birthday in the Aussie jungle, enjoying an iconic shower scene as per tradition for the I'm A Celeb campmates.

Fans were quick to wish Maura a happy birthday, with one writing, 'I just realised from I'm a celeb that I share a bday with maura Higgins our irish queen let's fcking go

And another said, 'Happy birthday to maura higgins.'

Meanwhile another said, 'Never would have guessed Maura Higgins was 34. She looks so fresh faced and could easily pass as 20. Like to know her secret.'

Maura is set to be a popular addition to I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, with gambling websites predicting that she could be a contender to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Gambling.com posted after the Irish reality star joined the jungle, 'Maura Higgins is now a 5/1 to win this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!'

But not everyone is such a big Maura fan, with some viewers calling her 'annoying'.

'They could not have picked a more annoying person than Maura Higgins to join the show, her voice gives me headaches,' wrote one viewer of the ITV show.

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fans have already named the villain of the lineup after Dean McCullough and Alan Halsall had a dispute over Alan waking Dean up.

Tensions are rising already in the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle, with Dean branded 'not a nice person' due to his treatment of Alan.

When Alan tried to wake Dean up so that he could help collect firewood, Dean said to him sternly, "Listen to me. If you’re gonna wake me up, you need to give me a minute, alright?

"It takes a couple of minutes for my contact lenses to get back working again, alright, so you don’t need to turn around to me and say ‘do you not fancy it?’ ok? And then turn around and walk away."

Fans were quick to notice Dean's stern tone, taking to social media to express their disapproval.

'Dean's true colours shining through now....he's not a nice person. How dare he talk to Alan like that,' wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter).

They continued, 'Fed up seeing him on screen now. I hope Coleen gives him what for in the trial when he starts screaming like a girl again.'

Other fans were quick to agree with the comment, with another replying to the post, 'Sam on ITV2 said that he thought that Dean might lift his game in the trial because of Coleen's influence.

'I really don't see that happening and it's more likely that she will witness what he's really like first hand.'

Another responded, 'Right from the beginning, I didn't like him. Snarky, lazy and entitled.'

While another said, 'I'm really glad he's doing the trial with Coleen .. she won't take his nonsense or cover for him back in camp. Part of the reason I'm A Celeb fans are annoyed at Dean is the way he spoke to Alan, who is emerging as a favourite on the show.

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here kicked off this week, and this year's line-up is one of the most talked-about yet.

Coleen Rooney, who has hit the headlines in recent years due to her 'Wagatha Christie' court case with former friend and fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy, is one of this year's stand-out contestants - and I'm A Celebrity bosses were keen to keep her identity under wraps before the launch.

It's thought that the ITV bosses have 'code names' for different celebrities to ensure they don't get leaked before the lineup is officially announced.

Very fittingly, Coleen Rooney was given the nickname 'Marple' to keep her signing secret, The Sun reports, referring to her sneaky ways when it came to identifying who was leaking stories about the WAG to the media.

A source told the publication, “Bosses at ITV were desperate to keep Coleen’s signing a secret for as long as they possibly could.

"She’s the biggest and best for years and they broke the bank to get her, so they wanted to keep schtum on it until the last minute. They come up with a codename for all the contestants, and sometimes it’s something to do with that particular person.

“The choice for Coleen was apt, and it would take someone with her detective skills to work it out.”

Meanwhile, it's thought that Loose Women regular Jane Moore was given the nickname 'Moon'.

The first episode of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here aired last night, with the cast diving straight into the action with a series of challenges - and a new I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fan favourite is emerging already.

In the launch episode of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here we saw new campmates Tulisa and Halsall win the challenge - but it's another new cast member that's emerging as a fan favourite on social media.

Dean McCullough has been praised for bringing some laughs to the campsite, with the Radio 1 presenter joking about campmate Coleen Rooney's 'Wagatha Christie' trial.

I'm A Celebrity 2024 fans are in for a treat because this year we have a brand new interactive spin-off show called I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked.

The new series will air right after the main show every evening, bringing fans the latest behind-the-scenes gossip, unseen clips, exclusive interviews and an insider’s guide to the iconic Bushtucker Trials. 

The show will also welcome celebrity guests throughout the show’s run and Ant and Dec will also be there to give their unique insights into all the latest camp action that viewers will have just seen on ITV1.

I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked starts on ITV2 on Sunday, November 17, right after the main show has aired on ITV1 and ITVX.

In addition to airing live on ITV2 and ITVX, I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked will also be repeated on ITV1 the following afternoon.

I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked hosts 

I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked will be hosted by jungle star Joel Dommett alongside Capital radio DJ Kemi Rodgers and I'm A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson. 

The jungle trio will be ready to dissect everything that has happened in camp each evening and speculate on what might come, and have also promised they won’t be shy in giving their opinions!

Speaking of the new show, Joel Dommett said: “It’s BACKKKK! To say I’m excited to do live jungle-based telly again is an understatement! I really adore the spin-off show and I’m so glad it’s returning for more in-depth chats with Ant and Dec, the campmates and incredible guests. It’s going to have a different feel to it, giving fans of the show extra gossip and juice. I started my TV career there and fingers crossed I won’t say the wrong thing on live telly and end it there too.”

Kemi Rodgers added“I am absolutely over the moon to be a part of this massive show – I’ve been such a fan of I’m A Celebrity for years and years, and I’m so excited that I get to bring the group chat to life by delving into everything that’s going on within camp. I’m absolutely honoured to join Joel and Sam and can't wait to get started, see you in the jungle!”

Sam Thompson is also excited to be heading back to the jungle: “What a complete honour, I can’t believe I’m going to get to work on such an iconic show with Joel who I’m a big fan of and the fabulous Kemi, this is a dream come true.”

I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked premise 

As well as bringing us all the latest jungle gossip, Sam, Joel and Kemi will be joined by each celebrity immediately after they have left the camp, giving us an exclusive insight into their time on the show and offering their honest opinions on the remaining celebrities.

The show also plans to delve into its rich history of campmates and feature former I'm A Celebrity jungle legends, to give them the opportunity to share their views on the current series and reminisce about their time in camp.

The show is also interactive and viewers will be able to join all the lively debates via social media and the app, as well as asking for their questions to be put directly to the campmates live in the Bush Telegraph or in the studio once they’ve left the Jungle.

I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked has been commissioned for ITV2 by Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime ITV and Kevin O’Brien, Entertainment Commissioning Editor ITV. 

The show’s Executive Producer will be Lee Smithurst and the Series Editor is Lyndon Taylor-Tovey for Lifted Entertainment (Part of ITV Studios).

The wait is finally over because we now have official confirmation that I'm A Celebrity 2024 is coming to ITV1 and ITVX next month and we even have a date for the launch show. 

Fans of the show have been waiting patiently to find out when this year's series will air and, although I'm A Celebrity traditionally airs around this time of year, it is always a relief when we know exactly when we can watch a new batch of brave celebrities heading into the Australian jungle to face their biggest fears. 

This year the series, which is season 24, will start on Sunday, November 17 when we will be treated to a launch show that usually follows a new group of famous faces as they leave their luxury lifestyles behind and swap fancy hotels for jungle living. 

As well as a release date, we have also been treated to a new promo trailer which in a new twist sees presenters Ant and Dec like you've never seen them before. 

For the clip, the presenting duo have traded in their jungle jackets for lab coats and taken on the roles of mad scientists as they put the infamous Bushtucker Trials to the ultimate test. As they test out the latest gunge and bugs from the infamous I'm A Celebrity trials, the pair have used mannequins as stand-ins for the real celebrities.

While we are still waiting to see who will be heading into the jungle, the rumour mill has been in overdrive in recent months, with everyone from Coleen Rooney to Giovanni Pernice linked to the line-up. 

But who will be taking part in stomach-churning Bushtucker Trials and have terrifying encounters with creepy crawlies in a bid to win stars for camp? And who will we be adding to the I'm A Celebrity winners list along with I'm A Celebrity 2023 winner Sam Thompson? We will find out soon because the wait is almost over. 

I'm A Celebrity star Fred Sirieix has shared his hopes of landing a role in EastEnders following his stint in the Australian jungle last year.

The French maître d' has travelled across the globe for his previous TV shows, including America, Spain, Greece and Morocco. Now, Fred has set his sights on Walford.

Fred revealed his wish to appear in EastEnders and even had a surprising role in mind.

He told The Sun: "That'd be amazing. That would be fantastic. [I’d love to be in] EastEnders. I can see myself, I've already written the lines actually."

He added: "I’d be playing, I think a gangster. We just arrived there and then at the end, I get killed. And there's lots of things happening in between but at the end, I get killed and disappear and never be seen again in the Square."

Fred revealed he had what it takes to act alongside EastEnders royalty such as Sharon Watts and Ian Beale.

"We’re all a bit actors aren’t we? I mean, in the restaurant industry that I spend all my life in, you know, you've got to be all things for all people, and you got to be there for your guests," he said.

"So effectively, you're kind of an actor you're putting on a show every single day. But yes, being an actor in a movie would be amazing."

The First Dates star was the third contestant to be eliminated from I'm A Celebrity 2023, which was won by TV personality Sam Thompson.

Fred can be seen hosting his most recent TV project The World Cook season 2 on Prime Video, where 16 new contenders from around the globe, including professional chefs and passionate amateur cooks, all fight to be crowned The World Cook.

Who won I'm a Celebrity 2024?

After Reverend Richard Coles, Coleen Rooney and Danny Jones all made it to the final, it was eventually Danny who was crowned King of the Jungle for 2024 with Coleen coming in at second place. Danny was the favourite to win after winning viewers over with his honest conversations, opening up about his anxiety and relationship with his dad, as well as calmly dealing with a python in his shorts in his very first trial! Speaking of his win, he said: "It’s a lovely feeling to be liked. I hope it comes across on TV, but it’s real in there. You’re hungry, you’re tired, you’re lethargic. It’s insane. I’ve learned so much about myself. I’ve learned how valuable time is with loved ones. I always prioritize my job so much — with success comes compromise. What I’ve learned, especially from all these camp mates, is time is precious."

Sunday, November 17 - launch show
This year our celebrities went on an epic race to kickstart their jungle journey in one of the most competitive launch shows ever. After Danny, Tulisa, Jane, Dean and Oti faced the iconic skydive, they met Barry, GK Barry, Alan, Coleen and Melvin on the beach and paired up to race to camp. Danny & Barry were Team Orange, Tulisa & Alan became Team Red, Jane & GK made Team Green, Dean & Coleen were Team Yellow and Oti and Melvin became Team Pink - all teams got a Jeep to kickstart their trek to the camp, apart from Oti and Melvin who faced a long walk after they arrived at the clearing last. After a boat race Alan and Tulisa reached the river bank first and won the coveted title of first camp leaders. Once everyone arrived in camp leaders Tulisa and Alan decided Danny and Barry would face the first Bushtucker Trial, which saw them face snakes and come back to camp with five stars, winning them kangaroo for dinner.

Monday, November 18
As campmates settled into jungle life GK managed to collect an impressive 9 out of 10 stars for camp in her first Bushtucker Trial. Meanwhile, Coleen opened up about Wagatha Christie and going to court, Jane talked about following Princess Diana and Prince Charles all over the world when she was a royal correspondent and Barryy bravely opened up about losing his daughter to cancer. At dinner time there was drama when the beans fell on the floor and Coleen and Tulisa had to rinse them to get twigs off before serving them up to everyone for tea!

Tuesday, November 19
Dean faced the Sinister Sarcophagus but the thought of having his legs trapped by sand while he answered questions for stars was too much and after getting only two stars he called 'I'm A Celebrity' and was hauled out of the tomb. Dean was worried about going back into camp with only two stars but he didn't need to worry as everyone understood. Also, Tulisa opened up about her single life while GK talked about why she looks for negative comments about herself online.

Wednesday, November 20
Dean and GK faced the latest Bushtucker Trial: ‘Drown in the Dumps’ but the mood in camp was down as it continued raining... plus the celebrities admitted they hadn't had a shower for days, with Coleen revealing she is the only one who has washed every day! Also, Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles were revealed as the two new celebrities joining the show, and they will make their entrance into the jungle on Thursday's episode.

Thursday, November 21
Maura and Richard entered the jungle and were soon given the task of pretending their 'Junkyard' camp was awful, while really they were living in luxury. Melvin faced a challenge to win cupcakes for the camp, and while he was having gunge thrown on him, Richard and Maura were out of sight, dining on sandwiches and tea! There were also some honest conversations between the celebrities when it transpired there was contraband in camp!

Friday, November 22
As the famous faces near the end of their first week in the Australian jungle they must compete in trials in the hope of winning food for camp. But can Maura and Richard continue to convince the main camp they are living in squalor?

Saturday, November 23
Maura, Richard and Dean were rumbled as their secret luxury in the Junk Yard was revealed, but their deception was worth while as they managed to secure 6 places at the buffet that evening. However, to win the remaining 6 places Richard and Maura faced the first eating trial of the series... however, the pair reigned victorious, successfully winning all 6 portions up for grabs at the junk food buffet and redeeming themselves from their Jungle Junkyard deception.

Sunday, November 24
It was Maura and Richard’s first morning in the main camp, and without her Jungle Junkyard eye mask to shield out the early morning light, Maura resorted to covering her eyes with a pair of knickers. Also, it was Coleen’s turn to share a surprising famous connection of hers, as she said she and Wayne were invited to the White House for Christmas when they lived in the US and met Donald Trump... she also confirmed that the president is as orange in real life as you might think!

Monday, November 25
It was a special day in camp, as it was Maura’s 34th birthday. Waking up in the jungle, she reflected: “Birthday in the jungle! This is definitely going to be one I will never, ever forget.” Meanwhile, Tulisa decided to sleep in. That is, until the camp decided to wake her up with the sound of musical theatre. Also, Oti decided to teach Danny the rhumba and GK and Richard strike up an unlikely friendship.

Tuesday, November 26
The nighttime trip on the Fright Bus continued, with the celebrities hoping to endure the journey length in order to win luggage items for camp. And in true I’m A Celebrity style, they were not alone. Joining them for the journey were the likes of cockroaches, mealworms and spiders. Birthday girl Maura received a happy birthday singsong from her fellow campmates. As she said: “This is the worst birthday I’ve ever had!”

Wednesday, November 27
During the night, the camp had an unwelcome visitor in the form of a rat, attracted by some remnants of dinner, while Tulisa struggled with the trial winning just 5 out of 12 stars. Elsewhere, Dean caused a camp row after he declared he doesn't like doing his chores, and GK and Richard put the world to rights with another deep and meaningful chat.

Thursday, November 28
Dean, Alan and Danny discovered they would be going head-to-head to take on the Bushtucker Trial ‘The Rank Bank.’ With Ant and Dec also sharing the news the other campmates would be coming along to watch. Coleen correctly guessed that they would all be put into teams and soon Pink team was Dean, Jane, Coleen and Melvin, Blue team was Alan, Tulisa, Richard and Barry, and Orange team had Danny, Maura, Oti and GK. Eventually Team Blue reigned victorious with $1100, with both the pink and orange teams tied with $500 each.

Friday, November 29
After Oti and Barry put their hands up to volunteer for the ‘Tanks of Torture', Coleen opened up about her children and the two babies she lost, while Alan talked about the time that the then Prince Charles came to the set of Coronation Street. The time then came for a campmate to be voted off and Jane Moore became the first celebrity to leave the camp.

Saturday, November 30
As the camp tried to get used to life withiut Jane, Tulisa and Richard both put themselves forward to face ‘Jungle TV Dinners’ and Oti opened up to Coleen about motherhood and being trolled for going back to work too quickly after having her daughter. No one left the camp tonight.

Sunday, December 1
Following an overnight storm, it was a very wet morning in camp as the celebrities woke up in very damp surroundings. Richard gave a camp sermon, Maura opened up about her love life, and after dinner as the campmates all sat around the fire to read out their letters from home in what became an emotional evening. Dean became the second celebrity to leave the camp.

Monday, December 2
As everyone was left reeling from Dean's departure from camp, Coleen and Alan took on the latest Bushtucker Trial called The Farmyard of Fear and Richard quizzed Danny on how he met his wife Georgia. Later the campmates chatted about their caravan holiday experiences while Tulisa was the third celebrity to be voted off the show.

Tuesday, December 3
While the camp got used to life without Tulisa, Oti took on the trial that Dean quit early on, facing her fears and coming back to camp with an impressive 8 out of 9 stars. Also, the celebrities discuss fame and the moment they first realised they were famous, while Melvin became the fourth celebrity to leave the jungle.

Wednesday, December 4
It was the morning after the night before in the Jungle Arms and campmates were in high spirits, as they reflected on their evening. While most were nursing a hangover, everyone found fun in joking about Maura's singing abilities. Later all the campmates battled it out in the arcade trial to get their hands on the golden ticket to the Celebrity Cyclone, with Danny, Maura, Oti and Coleen all going into the final.

Thursday, December 5
Danny, Maura, Oti and Coleen all went head to head in the trial, with Oti winning the coveted golden ticket to Cyclone, granting her immunity for the next two vote-offs, and a guaranteed place in the Celebrity Cyclone. Oti grinned and said: “It feels amazing, I’ve got to wash my underwear more now!”. Back in camp, Richard quizzes GK on her overnight fame and success on social media and she tells him about buying a Porche, while Maura told Oti about how the media often link her to men she's barely even met. Later, Barry and Maura became the fifth and sixth celebrities to leave camp.

Friday, December 6
While Oti felt relaxed after winning the golden ticket to Celebrity Cyclone, Danny was carrying the water up the hill and when Barry saw him, he came running over to him to lend a hand, leaving Oti to joke that in another life the pair must have been father and son. Meanwhile, we saw Ant and Dec reveal both Maura and Barry would be the next celebrities to leave the jungle, and as they said their goodbyes to camp, with Danny giving Barry a huge goodbye hug. Also, friends and family visited the remaining campmates for an emotional reunion. At the end of the episode GK and Alan became the next celebrities to leave the camp.

Saturday, December 7
As Oti, Danny, Coleen and Richard all faced Celebrity Cyclone they gave themselves all superhero names and poses, Oti named herself ‘Captain Bokke’ after her South African heritage, Danny named himself ‘The Purple Python’, Coleen wore red (for Liverpool) and so named herself ‘Liver Lava Girl’ and Richard Coles who was in blue became ‘Steeple Man’, with his catchphrase being 'ding dong!' As he puts his hands together in a triangle above his head. The celebrities loved the challenge and won four stars for the camp that night. Sadly, Oti was the next celebruty to leave the show, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.

Sunday, December 8
The final episode saw Danny, Colleen and Richard take on the final Bushtucker Trial called Tower of Terror where they all won stars for their last-ever meal in camp, which was the annual feast. In the end Richard came third, leaving Colleen and Danny to finght it out for first place. Danny was eventually crowned King of the Jungle, while Colleen very graciously came second place.

From soap stars to musicians, an array of famous faces take part in I'm A Celebrity every year - and now we have two new faces to add to the camp for 2024...

Maura Higgins - sixth to leave camp

As a late entry to camp, Love Island star Maura Higgins is hoping to bring plenty of energy – but falling in love under the jungle stars is not on the agenda as she admits going on I’m A Celebrity will be the hardest thing she has ever done.

Maura also admits she is looking forward to ditching her fake tan and make-up as she describes being asked to take part on the hit ITV series as a ‘pinch me moment’. “I am ready to step outside my comfort zone. I hope I make myself proud and I am both excited but also very nervous, because I am scared of absolutely everything."

Explaining why she is looking forward to ditching her fake tan and make-up, Maura adds: “It will be nice to strip back. I love my fake tan but I am excited to be without it. My skin is going to be flawless. It really is a detox and I am excited to have a phone detox too.”

Reverend Richard Coles - third place

Reverend Richard Coles is the second late entry to join the camp. Confessing he is both nervous and excited about entering camp, Richard says: “I have flown in from Brazil and the Amazon to do this, as I have been giving some talks there. It’s a tougher gig being the late entrant as you already have some groups forming and I am nervous of getting in there and not recognising people. You could be talking to the most famous influencer in the world and not know who it is.

"I am also worried about how I am going to cope with educating myself on 500 calories a day. Five hundred calories is normally elevenses for me! But at least having been in Brazil and the Amazon, I will be jungle ready. There is both trepidation and anticipation, but I accepted the offer because this is my kind of thing. I know Ant and Dec too - Dec and I share a love of sausage dogs! We’ve swapped pictures before of our sausage dogs.”

Coleen Rooney - second place

After years of being asked to take part in many different TV programmes, Coleen Rooney has finally said ‘yes’ to I'm A Celebrity. Speaking of why now is the right time, she said: "I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it. I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am. I’m a mum, but I’d like to think my role in camp will be a team player. I am organised so maybe that will be part of my role, too.

Readily admitting not having any contact with her husband, Wayne, or her four boys will be the toughest aspect of taking part, she says they are, however, very proud she has taken the challenge on. “Wayne is supportive,” she confides. “He did say, ‘You know you are going to be on camera 24/7?’ but I said, ‘Yeah that’s the show!’. He is fine with it all.

Jane Moore - first to leave the camp

Loose Women legend Jane Moore is never afraid to express her strong views – and she is hoping to bring a lively debate to the I’m A Celebrity camp. Admitting she loves finding out about people’s lives, Jane promises she will be asking plenty of questions in an ‘organic way’ during her time in the jungle!

“I will fill the hours with good chat,” explains Jane. “I find people really interesting and I want to have organic conversations. I won’t be like, ‘Tell me about the time…’ but I will be asking questions just because I am interested. I hope they (my fellow campmates) don’t get offended!”

Alan Halsall - 7th to leave camp

Coronation Street legend Alan Halsall, who has played Corrie’s Tyrone Dobbs for 26 years, joked his appearance on I’m A Celebrity is the ‘worst kept secret’ after he was forced to pull out last year to have major knee surgery.

He says one of the big reasons for saying ‘yes’ is down to the fact some of his colleagues loved their experience on the show. Alan adds: “I am very close to Andy Whyment and Jenni McAlpine, who have both done it before, and everyone tells me they had such a great experience. It’s a life experience and I am sure I will learn some new things about myself along the way too.”

He laughs when asked if they have given him any great tips. “I don’t think you can give a great deal of advice about something like this,” he replies. “I have been watching this every year it has been on, so I know what to expect! Corrie has been fantastic with it all and I am definitely not leaving the soap."

Tulisa Contostavlos - third to leave the camp

X Factor judge and N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos admits she is going to need more than hypnosis to conquer her fears in the jungle, after avoiding appearing on the programme in the past because she was so terrified.

Admitting she is ready to conquer her phobias, Tulisa hopes people will also finally find out more about the real her, rather than ready-made perceptions they may already have of the pop star. She explains: “I am like Frodo Baggins on an unexpected journey. I feel really adventurous this year and the place I am now in, I want to do things that take me out of my comfort zone. I have always said I wouldn’t do this show in the past, as there are things that have terrified me. But the person I am now, I want to throw caution to the wind.”

Danny Jones - WINNER

The Voice 2024 and McFly star Danny Jones is now stranger to I'm A Celebrity and will be following in the footsteps of fellow McFly drummer Dougie Poynter, who was crowned King Of The Jungle in 2011, while Tom Fletcher's wife Giovanna Fletcher, was crowned Queen Of The Jungle in 2020.

Danny is on a winning streak with The Masked Singer and The Voice UK victories under his belt, but he’s not sitting at home staring at his trophies - instead, he’s ready for another challenge.

Danny describes I’m A Celebrity as a ‘bucket list thing’ and says: “I felt very privileged to be asked to do it. This is an amazing opportunity. I had time in the diary, which was insane. I’ll never get the opportunity again. I’ve always learned so much more from pushing myself out of my comfort zone. For me it’s learning about myself as well. And showing my little boy that it’s ok to be scared - it’s do it and conquer it.” Asked which Trials he’s dreading, Danny laughs: “All of them… it’s genuinely all of them.”

Oti Mabuse - fourth place

Dancing on Ice and Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse admits to being a superfan of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – and it’s one of the main reasons why she accepted an offer to take part.

“I have been a fan of I’m A Celebrity for so long,” explains Oti. “Outside of Strictly and Dancing on Ice, it’s the show I watch religiously, and I can remember last year thinking: ‘Ok, this feels right. I am definitely up for it now, I am up for the challenge’. “Now I have had my baby daughter, I want to get back to the adventurous and fun Oti. I feel ready for a change and doing something completely different. I will have no make-up, concealer, lashes – it’s going to be nice to be laid back.”

Barry McGuigan - fifth to leave camp

Boxing legend Barry McGuigan is no stranger to taking on tough challenges and with one eye on getting to the ‘later stages’ of the show, it’s both the physical and psychological aspect of it that appeals to him.

“It can be physically arduous, but it’s the psychological part of it that I want to conquer before I get too old,” Barry explains. “I’m 63 now. I’d like to think I’m a young 63, but that doesn’t mean it’ll make any of these challenges easy. I’d rather do it when I’m 63, than 73, put it that way.”

Of how he thinks he’ll do, Barry says: “I’d like to do well. I’m not saying I’m going to win, but I’d like to be in there for a sustained amount of time so that I can get to know all of the guys in camp."

Dean McCullough - second to leave the camp

Radio 1 DJ Dean, who hosts the BBC Radio 1 Early Breakfast Show, admits he is so petrified of everything, he had to switch the first episode of last year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! off because he was so scared. And when he once spotted a cockroach in a hostel, he reveals he immediately checked out of it. But the lively DJ is determined to overcome his phobias of ‘everything’ and enjoy what he likens the show to as a three-week therapy camp. Dean admits: “I am terrified of everything and the more I think about being put in the ground with 50 snakes or getting those green fly things that bite poured over me – well there's just no point thinking about it, as otherwise I won’t get on the plane!"

Melvin Odoom - fourth to leave the camp

Radio DJ Melvin admits he vowed to hit the gym after accepting the offer to take part in this year’s series in a bid to look like his close pal, JLS singer Marvin Humes, in the famous jungle shower.

Revealing he also asked his friend, who starred in last year’s I’m A Celebrity, for a lowdown on what to expect in camp, Melvin confesses however, that one of his biggest fears as he prepares to enter is not facing the creepy crawlies in a trial – but, in fact, snoring too loudly at night and waking his fellow campers up.

The DJ explains: “Snoring is my biggest fear. I have been trying to train myself, as messing with people’s sleep is a big deal. I might be the camp’s enemy if my snoring comes out. It’s loud!”

GK Barry - 8th to leave camp

Podcaster and content creator GK Barry says she can’t wait to finally meet Ant and Dec in person after being a guest on their Instagram Live show two years ago.

I’m A Celebrity’s popular presenters encouraged fans to suggest guests for their digital show Jungle Club and the fan favourite was GK Barry. At the time, the TikTok star admitted she was a super fan and she laughs today as she confesses she can’t believe she is now actually going to be taking part in the famous jungle series.

“Too right I’m a super fan,” says the social media influencer. “They (Ant & Dec) went: ‘What is a GK Barry?’, and now we have gone from that to me being on the show. It has gone full circle. “I can’t wait to meet them in Australia in the jungle. I am also excited to meet everyone on the programme, as the cast is always so amazing.”

Yes, in the new trailer Ant and Dec have traded in their jungle jackets for lab coats and taken on the roles of mad scientists as they put the infamous Bushtucker Trials to the ultimate test. As they test out the latest gunge and bugs from the infamous I'm A Celebrity trials, the pair have used mannequins as stand-ins for the real celebrities...

Earlier this year we were treated to a mini teaser trailer that sees Ant and Dec at a 'Test Facility' where we hear an alarm going off. Ant and Dec are seen looking very official in white lab coats, but just as Dec goes to press a huge red button, the clip ends and we see 'I'm A Celebrity... Coming Soon' pop up on our screens. I'm A Celebrity 2024 hosts

Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be returning to host the series. Ant and Dec have hosted the show since it debuted in 2002, so it isn't that surprising that the pair are back for another series.

The duo have suggested that the next line-up of campmates shouldn't include any more politicians after Nigel Farage and Matt Hancock's appearance on the show.

When Dec was asked whether Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was a potential future campmate during an Instagram livestream with fans, he replied: "I think we do a year without any politicians". I'm A Celebrity co-presenter Ant responded: "Agreed, agreed, agreed."

The I'm A Celebrity King of the Jungle has been crowned! Sam Thompson was bestowed the much-coveted accolade after winning over audiences with his sweet sense of humour and can-do attitude.

In last night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! (which aired on Sunday 10th December 2023) Sam beat out other finalists Nigel Farage and Tony Bellew to the top.

But while fans are congratulating Sam on his big win, there's one aspect of his time in the jungle in particular that got fans talking - his relationship with fellow contestant Tony.

'The best thing to come out of I’m a celeb this year is Sam and Tony’s friendship,' wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter). 

The social post resonated, with 1.8K users of the platform (and counting!) liking the statement and 94 retweeting it. 

While another fan commented, 'I want a TV show after I’m a celeb of Tony & Sam travelling the world together.'

And a third user said, 'Here for the Sam and Tony post I’m a celeb bants.'

And another fan wrote, coming up with a rather controversial plan for next year's format of I'm A Celebrity, 'Next year let tony and Sam host I’m a celeb and send ant and dec into the jungle!!'

It's the moment I'm A Celeb fans have been waiting for - after three rollercoaster weeks, tonight we'll have a new King of the Jungle.

Controversial contestant Nigel Farage joins Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew as this year's final three contestants for the grand finale of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

This Morning star Josie Gibson was the last contestant to get axed, coming in fourth place in the competition. 

But not all I'm A Celeb viewers are happy about the final three, with some taking to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their concern, with one fan of the show going as far as to call Nigel Farage a 'joke' for being in the final. 

'This country is a joke how is Nigel still in there, never let the public vote,' wrote on fan on Twitter. 

To which another fan replied, 'if he wins though. most likely sam will win though with his energy.'

And another said on X, 'I cannot believe for one minute, I am in complete disbelief that Josie was chosen over Farage. I give up. Won't be watching this farce ever again after this year.'

To which another fan replied, The public vote for their favourite . I had never heard of Josie and most of the other TV people Except for Sam He is a rich boy from Chelsea. His ADHd is not as bad. He's acting and everyone is falling for it!'

And another wrote, sticking up for Nigel, 'What’s not to believe? Apart from being the most annoying person in the jungle, the public votes speak for themselves. Clearly Nigel is more popular…and quite rightly so!'

And that fan isn't the only one — other viewers also took to X to say they will be voting for Nigel tonight, with another writing 'WHYYY!!! how has Josie gone before Tony. I want Nigel to win now because I don’t like Sam or Tony.'

The I'm A Celebrity 2023 campmates have become no stranger to seeing Nigel Farage bare all and episode 17 was no different as he stripped off once again during a karaoke session at The Jungle Arms pub!

Also, Josie Gibson and Sam Thompson became secret agents and there was more Trial tension in camp.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 17 last night...

Nella Rose says goodbye to camp

As they prepared for another public vote-off, Nigel said to Nick Pickard: “So when Ant and Dec come, our numbers will be down by 50%. We’ll have gone from 12 to 8.”

Nick said: “OK… isn’t that six?”

Nigel asked: “Sorry?”

Nick said: “Isn’t six 50%?” 

Nigel said: “Sorry, I’m being silly.” 

Nigel in the Bush Telegraph said: “I’ve got no apprehension about this morning’s eviction at all. For now, I’m a remainer.” 

Once it was announced Nella would be leaving, Tony Bellew in the Bush Telegraph said: “I’ve loved getting to know Nella, she’s a lovely girl with a heart of gold. She’s funny, she’s got banter. She’s had her ups and downs, but ultimately Nella’s been a wonderful girl to be around.”

As they prepared to wave her off Josie said: “Jeez, I’m very, very surprised.” 

Josie in the Bush Telegraph said: “The camp won’t feel the same without her. She got good energy, Nells.”

Tony shouted: “Well done, Nell!”

Sam Thompson and Marvin Humes create a movie

Marvin and Sam created their own movie, where they played characters Merf and Axwell.

Josie Gibson asked as they acted out a scene: “What are you doing? You just made up a film like that?”

Marvin explained the plot saying: “Basically, he [Sam as Merf] got suspended from work, he hit the bottle hard, his wife died in the line of duty so they do feel sorry for him. He just went to AA on a six week course. In the meantime I [Axwell] stepped up as sheriff.”

Sam added: “Merf’s never been the same. He always throws himself into danger…”

The pair then did an emotional scene where Merf died in Axwell's arms and put on American accents. 

Josie was keen to join in on the fun and asked to be in the film as she explained her character.

“I’m like a real power chick who wears a suit all the time. You all want to sleep with me, but I hate you. Everyone fancies me. I love it," she said.

Josie said that her character's name was Patricia as Marvin exclaimed: "Patty!"

Josie explained in the Bush Telegraph: “I am the lieutenant of the whole station. They’ve had to bring me in to find T-bone [Tony] now because he’s killed our sheriff.” 

They recruited Tony as character T-bone, who had killed someone with a T-bone. 

Marvin said: “Savage!” 

Sam added: “Now he’s got a penchant for killing people with different foods.”

Sam in the Bush Telegraph said: “I love it, we came up with Axwell and Merf. Two detectives, setting the world right, cleaning up the town.”

Trial tension

The campmates were asked once again to volunteer for the next Trial, which was called Fly On The Wall.

This time, two campmates were needed and then the group would reach a verdict as to who would take on the challenge.

Tony said: “Once every celebrity has spoken, then have your say.”

Marvin was keen to do it, saying: “I’m up for doing it, 100%. I want to get eight stars for everyone, so I’m ready to go.” 

Everyone voted for Marvin to do it as Tony then said: “I’m easy, whatever it takes, I’m up for it, I don’t mind.” 

Nick said: “I’m also very happy to take one for the team. No problem at all.”

Fred was determined to do another Trial as he said: “I’ll go with Marvin, just because why not. I’m ready to go.”

Sam said: “I’m happy to go as well. Happy to do it and you know, want to bring some stars back for the team. I think Marv should definitely be going because you haven’t done one yet and I know you are superman. And Fred, if you want to do it…”

Fred replied: “Don’t worry, I’m going. You can carry on playing with your toys, we’ll do the men’s stuff. I’m going with Marvin, I’ve already decided.” 

Sam in the Bush Telegraph said: “I hope he doesn’t think that I just want to stay in camp. I really, really want to help. I also don’t want to argue about it. I don’t have a backbone. I’m not going to sit there and say, ‘No I want to do it.’”

Fred said: “You go tomorrow! I think the decision has been made. I think you’re all happy.” 

Josie said: “We’ve got to vote.”

Fred said: “I’m as game as it comes.” 

Tony said: “Let everyone decide Fred, chill.”

Fred in the Bush Telegraph said: “It was quite clear to me they didn’t want to partake in this Trial. In fact Sam is more interested to play with his toys in the camp today.”

Marvin in Bush Telegraph said: “After all the treehouse training sessions it feels like this is the Trial we have been training for.” 

Marvin and Fred Sirieix take on Fly on the Wall Trial

The pair arrived at the Trial clearing where a makeshift wall was suspended over a lake.

Dec explained: “This is Fly On The Wall. You’ll both start the Trial standing on the ledges of either side of the wall where you’ll notice there are eight half stars on either side. You have to work together to collect your half stars in numbered order. To collect a piece you have to get both feet into the red numbered area. And when you’re both in position you can get the star pieces off the wall.”

Ant added that once they retrieved the stars, they had to both meet back in the middle where the hole in the wall was and put both pieces into the star bag. Only full stars in the bag would count towards a meal for camp and they had 8 minutes to get 8 stars.

Ant continued: “Only full stars in your bag at the end of the Trial will count. You can pass on a number. But once you’ve passed on a number you can’t go back to it. Now, if you drop a piece in the water it’s lost. You can’t go swimming for it Fred. I’m looking at you because you go rogue. And if you fall in the water, or Marvin falls in the water, we’ll stop the clock and we’ll get you back on the wall.”

Oh and to top it all off, they had to dress as giant flies!

The challenge proved to be a tricky feat as the wall was covered in a very slippery liquid and Marvin was the first to fall off into the water.

Marvin said: “It’s so slippery boys, jeez!”

They agreed to step one step at a time together as they both reached star one and collected both halves and went back to the hole in the centre of the wall. 

Marvin then slipped again trying to get to star two and then Fred slipped off. 

They opted to skip star three and move onto four. Fred instructed Marvin that they needed to be “kissing the wall” and staying as close to it as possible. 

During play, Fred dropped a half of a star into the water and Marvin fell again with just 20 seconds left on the clock.

They succeeded with just seconds left and jumped into the water at the end.

In total they got 5 out of 8 stars.  

Danielle Harold becomes new camp leader

Danielle Harold was declared the new camp leader following Nella's exit and picked Josie as her deputy.

The pair decided each of the campmates chores which ended up as:

Camp chefs: Sam and Nick 

Washing up: Tony and Marvin 

Camp water and dunny: Fred and Marvin 

Camp maintenance: Nigel and Fred 

Seeing their choices Sam reacted excitedly: “No way!” 

In the Bush Telegraph Sam said: “I’ll be like the clown in the kitchen so Nick can get on and do what he needs and I’ll distract Fred. But also, I’m incredibly nervous. I’m not a very good cook.” 

Nigel said in Bush Telegraph: “I think that Nick is going to be on the front line of this with Sam as sous chef. What will be interesting is to watch how Fred comments on Sam’s food preparation.”

Nick in Bush Telegraph said: “I do like a bit of cooking, but after the exploits of the last couple of evenings of Fred and Josie, I’m a little bit nervous. Fred’s bound to start barking at us now. Hopefully he’ll give us a bit of guidance and then leave us alone.” 

Sam and Josie go on a secret mission

Sam and Josie went out for a Deals On Wheels challenge but instead were greeted by The Jungle Arms pub.

They each sipped a fruity juice drink and sat in a deck chair.  

Sam said: “I am loving this!” 

Josie said: “The ice in it… we haven’t had ice since we’ve been here.”

Sam read a laminate: “Tonight The Jungle Arms will be open to everyone. But only if you successfully complete a number of secret missions in camp. Your first secret mission is to return to camp and convince your campmates that you failed today’s Deals On Wheels. As part of your story you must wear the koala mask and cover yourself in slime and feathers. You’ll be set further secret missions later. Good luck and remember you must not share this information with anyone.” 

Sam said to Josie: “We get to be undercover! This is the perfect duo. We are secret agents!” 

Josie came up with a lie to tell camp that they got huntsman spiders out and she refused to do the challenge.

Sam thought it was a great idea and Josie practised her sad face as she admitted that she's got to try and not laugh.

They slimed each other and covered each other with feathers as they donned their masks and headed back to camp. 

Josie put her acting skills to the test as she announced: “Sorry guys, I just couldn’t do it.”

Fred said: “You don’t have to worry about it. It’s not a big deal.”

Josie said: “I just can’t deal with the spiders.” 

Tony said: “Don’t even give it a thought.”

Fred brought them stuff to shower in and towels. 

Josie said: “I’m starting to feel a bit guilty now. They’re all making a fuss out of us.”

Sam said: “It’s brilliant!” 

Josie then got told in the Bush Telegraph: “Your next secret mission is to scare your campmates so much that they either jump or scream out loud. This must happen on three different occasions. Good luck.”

Sam managed to get Danielle and Tony. They tried to get Nick but it didn’t work. Josie made Fred jump bursting out of the dunny. 

Sam then got the third and final mission: “This is the last secret mission. First you must recruit Tony and tell him he must take part in a secret mission. Tony’s secret mission is to tell Marvin to help him write the chorus of a love song for his wife Rachael. It must include the words, Teddy T and pretend that is his nickname. When the song is written, Tony must perform in front of camp. Good luck. And remember you cannot share this information with anyone, except Tony!”

Sam asked Tony to have a chat in the dunny, where he told a sceptical Tony: “Tony, trust me. There’s a reason we’re doing weird things. Me and Josie have been tasked to three different secret missions. If we complete all three secret missions we can go to The Jungle Arms.”

Tony later asked Marvin for help with the song. 

Marvin said: “Yeah we can do that mate. We can work on that. Not long at all. ‘Teddy T, AKA Tony B for Rachy B.’”

Tony replied: “Bit of a smoochy one. The sooner the better as I could be going home tomorrow and I’d like to sing this at the end of the bridge.”

Marvin then sang Tony his new lyrics: “For everyone, I’m Tony B, but for you I’m your Teddy T. And Rach, it’s plain to see, I love you more than you could ever know.” 

Tony said: “I think that’s good!” 

Around the campfire, Tony sang the song as his impressed campmates applauded him.

Nigel strips off at The Jungle Arms

After completing the three missions, all of the campmates got to go to The Jungle Arms pub.

The excited celebrities celebrated as they spotted pizza, chips and crisps on the table and wasted no time in tucking into the treats.

Josie put crisps on her pizza as Nigel toasted with a pale ale, saying: “The only appropriate toast is to us!” 

Later, the karaoke came out as Marvin and Sam did a duet and sang "Everybody In Love" by JLS. Fred sang "Don’t Worry, Be Happy" and Tony sang Nat King Cole’s "L-O-V-E."

In a surprising turn of events, Nigel sang "I’m Too Sexy" and did a striptease by opening his shirt. He joked: “Follow that!” 

Tony said: “Nigel, well done!” 

Marvin said: “That is brilliant.” 

Josie also sang "Rapper’s Delight" and the whole group sang "I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)."

Fred is eliminated from camp

At the end of the show, Fred was the third celebrity to be eliminated from the jungle.

I’m A Celebrity 2023 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. 

I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 16, the camp kitchen nightmares continued, Josie Gibson had a bean blunder and Tony Bellew spoke about the dangers of boxing.

Also, Nella Rose and Sam Thompson went head-to-head in a camp X Factor audition to become one of JLS' backup dancers.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 16 last night...

Frankie Dettori leaves camp

It was the morning ahead of the first public vote off and Nella Rose told Danielle Harold in the leader and deputy bus: “I’m so nervous. I don’t want anyone to leave.”

Nella in the Bush Telegraph said: “Going to bed last night was so bittersweet. I kind of realised that this is the last time we’re going to sleep in this jungle altogether and as the days go by things are going to change drastically.”

Nella admitted to Danielle: “I don’t want anyone to leave, even Nigel and Fred, yeah. As annoying as they are, I love the drama. I live for it.”

Sam Thompson said in camp: “Well, well, well everybody, buckle up as it looks like it’s going to be quite a day.” 

Tony Bellew in the Bush Telegraph said: “The mood in camp this morning is a little bit different. We’re going to go from a 10 to a 9, people are feeling very apprehensive. I’m not going to lie, they look a bit nervous. But no-one knows; is it you, is it not you. Someone’s going this morning.” 

With Fred Sirieix and Josie still clashing over the cooking, Fred told Nick Pickard that: “She’s the Frank Sinatra of chefs, she’s doing it her way.” 

In the Bush Telegraph Fred added: “There is no method, there is no technique she is just winging it and making it up as she goes along. It’s better if I look away and stay away from the kitchen because it just drives me crazy.” 

Tony complained about breakfast, saying it was "horrific", meanwhile Nick said in the Bush Telegraph: “If I go out today, I certainly won’t miss the breakfast, put it that way.” 

Ant and Dec arrived in camp and announced that Frankie was the first celebrity to leave the jungle as a result of the public vote.

Sam shouted: “Love you Frank!”

They all cheered Frankie as he left and they said "beautiful" altogether the way Frankie did.

Fred volunteers to do Celebrity Distressing Room Trial

Later on, Sam read a jungle laminate to everyone, saying: "Hello everyone, I have a note. Today’s Trial is called the Celebrity Distressing Rooms. It is up to you to decide which celebrity takes part. One by one each celebrity should say if they want to do the Trial and why. Once everybody has spoken you can make the decision as a group, good luck.” 

Fred insisted that he would go, as Sam told him that he had to stand up and explain why.

Fred replied: “Because I haven’t done one yet. So, I’m going.” 

Tony added: “Let’s just take our time and everyone have a little say of why they think they should do it before we just jump in and rush off. Chill out Freds.”

Fred said: “I’m going to go. I want to go because I want to go and do my best to bring the stars, to bring stars back for you. If everybody agrees that I’m going, then we’re done.” 

Tony said: “One at a time mate.”

Nella joked: “I’d love a day off lads.” 

Marvin said: “More than happy to do it, will do my best always.” 

Josie said: “Marvin and Fred haven’t done a Trial yet, so it’s basically…”

Sam asked: “Shall we do rock, paper, scissors?”

Fred said: “This camp has all been equal… it’s only fair I go. If you want me to go, just say. Can you vote for me? Thank you. I am delighted.”

Marvin in the Bush Telegraph said: “I was definitely up for doing it, but we just want to eat. Whoever is up for doing them should just crack on and do them. So yeah, the French man has spoken.”

Arriving at the Trial clearing Fred told hosts Ant and Dec: “I’m feeling great, I was always going to come here and do a Trial this morning because I haven’t done one, so it’s only fair that I volunteer for this.”

Dec said: “You were pretty determined to be today though, weren’t you?”

Fred said: “It’s fair, it’s the right thing to do. Lots of the other campmates have done lots of Trials, I haven’t done any yet. They have been voted by the public, so I said, let’s go.”

Fred started doing push ups and Ant then joked: “This is celebrity distressing rooms. As you can see Fred, this Trial is made up of 5 dressing rooms that belong to actual celebrities.” 

Ant explained that Fred had to search each dressing room to try and find stars. He had to find 9 stars in total and two minutes in each dressing room.

Dec said: “Beware, there might be a few surprises along the way.”

Fred said: “Let’s get on with it. Stop talking. You love to talk.” 

The first room was named "Dame Judi Stench" and Fred had to search through a room filled with smelly rotten veg and critters.

Fred then had to search for two stars in "Rat" Damon's dressing room and failed to find any stars in the rat-infested room.

Next, he faced a room entitled, "Pecklan Donnelly" which was filled with host Dec's worst fear of pigeons.

As Fred raced around he hadn’t realised he found a star and missed it. In amongst this room there was a portrait of Stephen Mulhern and Fred put his hand inside Stephen Mulhern’s face to unscrew another star. 

In the next dressing room, belonging to "Dolly Python", Fred was warned by Dec to be gentle and slow.

Fred found one star in a wig but threw a bag to one side that had a star in it. 

Ant reminded him: “Check things properly Fred!” 

In the "Bruce Sting-Steen" room Fred faced green ants. He ripped a guitar off the wall, through which he was meant to put his hand to find a star. 

Distracted around the room looking in other places Fred yelled: “This is disgusting! Where are they?”

Fred completed the Trial with seven out of nine stars. 

Fred said: “I’m disappointed I didn’t get nine" and counted his stars out in French as Dec joined in. 

Josie's bean blunder

Josie wanted to try and make bean fritters for lunch as a change to their usual rice and beans.

Fred said in the Bush Telegraph: “She’s got no eggs, she’s got no flour, nothing but beans and oil… but I have stopped advising, I have stopped saying anything, I’m just going with the flow. Go on Josie, have fun.” 

As she started, Josie found they didn’t fry like fritters and they started to fall apart as she said: “Mission abort. Mission abort.”

Fred added in the Bush Telegraph: “Very quickly, obviously, she said, ‘I’m aborting the mission’. No s*** Sherlock.”

Josie admitted: “I think it’s going to taste rank.” 

Nick said: “It looks like a bean mash that’s just sort of semi-fried. We’ve got to give it a go.” 

Nick laughed in the Bush Telegraph: “You learn a lot of things through failure.” 

Nigel Farage said: “It was a near fritter.”

Tony talks boxing

In camp, Nella asked Tony why he retired from boxing.

Tony replied: “My body stopped me. It’s so dangerous. It’s brutal.”

He added: “Boxing is the most damaging sport in the world…a professional boxer, it’s estimated that he will get hit in the head 50,000 times a year… that’s going to catch up with me at some point. I can accept that, I knew it when I got into it… I know what I’m signing up for.”

“If tomorrow I go into a coma because of the punches I’ve took, that’s on me. That’s no-one else. I’m not suing no-one, it ain’t their fault.”

He added: “I used to say to my wife, I’m going to get hurt at some point. She would know. You’ve got to accept.”

Camp X Factor audition

After hearing that Marvin Humes had been teaching Sam more JLS moves, Nella insisted on having an X Factor-style audition in camp. 

Marvin is himself as a judge, Nick became Simon Cowell and Josie was nominated to be Sharon Osbourne. 

Nella said: “Me and Sam are going to go head-to-head and you’re going to tell me who is making it to the JLS back-up dancers.”

Watching Nella dance, Josie said: “That girl has got the moves. Proper snake hips. If I was in a band I’d snatch her up in a jiffy.” 

Sam admitted: “Can’t beat that.”

In the Bush Telegraph he added: “Nella can move! I nearly gave up, I nearly threw the towel in.” 

Sam started singing JLS song "Everybody In Love" and danced.

Josie said: “He’s like half Chippendale, half JLS member.”

In the Bush Telegraph Marvin said: “I think Sam would give his right arm to be on stage with JLS at some point. Who knows? Who knows what could happen.”

Being the panel, Marvin said: “Let’s go down the line, what do you think Sharon?”

Josie as Sharon said to Nella: “I’ve never seen moves like it. I thought you had more moves than Beyoncé.”

Nick as Simon said: “I thought it was a great effort Nella. I think Sam edged it a bit though, darling.” 

Guest judge Tony as Adele said: “I thought the movement from Nella was exceptional. I thought the hip rotation of Sam was so underrated and so unprofessional it made it absolutely outstanding. Bravo on both performances.”

Nella and Sam held hands as they anxiously waited to hear Marvin give his verdict, as he announced: “You’ve clearly rehearsed a lot. But, guys, it’s not good news... It’s great news - you’re through!”

Clash of the cooks

As a result of Fred winning seven stars, the camp had kangaroo tail for dinner. But Fred couldn't help but try and take the reigns when it came to cooking.

Josie said in the Bush Telegraph: "I'm happy to take Fred's advice. He's a trained chef at the end of the day. But I'm not being rude, not even Fred knows how to deal with a kangaroo tail."

As Josie and Fred continued to butt heads on how to cook the kangaroo tail, Nigel added: "I have very little confidence that our cooks can deliver a delicious meal tonight. Whether it's going to be worth eating remains to be seen."

Tony stepped in and told Fred that she will end up stressing Josie out if he kept telling her what to do.

Josie revealed in the Bush Telegraph: "It's just highly annoying when somebody is constantly looking over your shoulder. 'Do this, do that' and it's not that. When you do anything he's there going like, 'oh la la, oh la la' like you're doing it wrong."

She then told Fred in camp: "Fred, you've just got to give me the reigns, my love. You've just got to give me the reigns. I know it's difficult."

As Fred insisted that he can cook, he eventually gave up and said in the Bush Telegraph: "Watching Josie cook is excruciating. What I'm witnessing here is like a horror movie from the 80s."

The camp loved Josie's meal and praised her cooking as Fred complained down by the creek that there wasn't any stock left.

Fred thanked her for dinner as Josie replied: "Thank you love that means a lot."

Nella is eliminated from camp

Finally, we said goodbye to Nella as she was eliminated in Monday's episode.

I’m A Celebrity 2023 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. 

I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 15 saw Frankie discovering a snake, Marvin and Fred became workout buddies and Nigel revealed that he'd almost been run over, adding to his growing list of near-death incidents.

Meanwhile, the campmates competed in order to win letters from home, the all important annual tradition that gives them some motivation from their friends, family and spouses watching from the comfort of their sofas!

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 15 last night...

Snake encounter 

While Frankie was carrying out his chores he spotted a snake and dodged it on the path while casually saying "hello" to it, seeming unphased by the camp's latest resident.

In the Bush Telegraph, he explained: "I had to go down and get some wood and who was there to greet me? A nice lovely snake."

He added: "It took me by surprise actually when I first saw him, but in the jungle you’ve got to have eyes everywhere."

Returning from his chores, Frankie told the camp: “I got delayed because a snake was in the way.” 

Tony looked nervous and asked: “Where is it?”

Frankie said: “In the creek.” 

Tony replied: “Don’t need that!” 

Tony added in Bush Telegraph: "If I’d have spotted that snake this morning, the scream… "

Thankfully, the snake seemed to mind its own business and the rest of the camp didn't cross paths with it. For now, anyway!

Missing home 

Marvin brought up the topic of Fred’s wedding while working out, Marvin asked: “What’s your first dance with your wife?”

Fred replied: “We haven’t decided. I’m going to leave it to her, she’s going to decide. As long as she’s happy, I’m going to be happy. Do you know what I mean? It’s a celebration of life. I’m going to make it a big party, man. I want it to be like a Jamaican festival. You know, like different stations everywhere.”

Fred added: “Actually I can’t wait to see her, I really can’t wait to see her.” 

Marvin said of his wife Rochelle: “When you haven’t spoken for so long, I feel like my love for her has grown even more.” 

Fred replied: “I know, it’s exactly how I feel.” 

Marvin said: “You know they say absence makes the heart grow fonder? It’s very, very true.” 

Marvin in the Bush Telegraph said: “Rochelle, I desperately miss her. She’s my best friend and there’s so much I want to talk to her about and tell her about. That is definitely the hardest part of this. Not being able to share my days with my best friend.” 

He added to Fred: “I know, when I see her and I hold her for the first time, she will feel the love. It’ll just come through just how much I’ve missed her, you know? It’s crazy man. Never in our life will we go through this again.” 

Fred said: “As you were talking I almost welled up. I need to do my push-ups now.” 

Nigel's got nine lives

Speaking about mishaps, Josie said: “I’ve broken so many bones when I’ve been drunk.”

Nick asked: “Have ya?” 

Josie explained: “I had a house party and I decided to play combat rolling over the sofa. I broke my arm in so many places… instead of going to the hospital, I just left it and put a pillow over it for the rest of the party. By the time I did actually go to the hospital, because I was so hanging, they had to re-break it. Then I fell out of a nightclub and broke my ankle.”

Nigel commented: “Josie, I can top all of that - I got run over!” 

Josie replied: “Nige, I’ve never known anyone like it: You’ve been in a car accident, you’ve got run over, you’ve been in an aeroplane accident.” 

Nigel laughed: “Still here!”

Josie said: “You’ve got nine lives!” 

Nella takes on Fright at the Museum

Revealing the Trial to Nella and viewers, Dec said: "This is Fright at the Museum. You have to search inside the jungle museum for stars that are hidden within the exhibits. When you find a star, get it in your star bag. Only stars that are in your star bag at the end of the Trial will count. However, this museum hasn’t been open for years, so it is pretty dark in there. It’s pitch black is what I’m trying to say. You’re going to have to search around to try and feel for the stars. It’s just 10 minutes to find 10 stars."

Ant said: “You can stop the Trial at any point by saying, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ but any further stars will be forfeit. You don’t have to do the Trial, Nella. But I reckon you’re determined?”

As she began unscrewing the stars Dec said: “Remember, righty tighty, lefty loosey.” 

As she continued round and was showered with critters Nella said: “Ok, this is going to be hard!” 

Nella said to herself: “Don’t panic, Nells, don’t panic! It’s OK Nella, you’ve been through worse, you’ve been through worse!”

As Nella knocked over some of the exhibits Ant said: “She’s ruining this place. They’re priceless!”

Nella shouted: “We’re hungry and we’re doing this for Tony Bellew because he’s the best.”

As she knocked another exhibit over, Dec said: “She’s making me jump!” 

Having got 9/10 stars, Ant said: “Now you’ve got to get in the tunnel.”

Nella said: “Nah, f*** that. Confined spaces in the dark.”

Dec said: “One more to get, come on!”

Nella said: “Nah bro, this is confined space. This is pitch black and that’s a confined space, bro.” 

Exiting with 9/10 stars Nella said: “It was very scary. I’m shaking. Fear of the unknown. I just remembered, Tony, he really believes in me and he thinks I’m the strongest woman on the planet, confined space, you lot pushed it with that. In the jet black, no. But me and Tony Bellew neck and neck.”

She added: “Guys, I’m super proud of myself. Normally when I get scared I tend to run away. This time, I stuck through with it and we get to eat.” 

Learning the good news back in camp Tony said in the Bush Telegraph: “It couldn’t have happened to a better person. She’s gone in there, she’s bossed it. She’s made everyone proud, including herself.”

Letters from Home

Learning that they had to compete to receive their letters, Sam read the instructions which said: "Celebrities, in front of you are five letters from home. Throughout the game each letter will move towards a shredder, one arrow at a time. Next to the letters is the ball run. The ball run consists of five pieces of pipe, one for each of you. The pipes can only be moved up and down by pulling on the ropes. For every ball you successfully transfer from one side of the ball run, to the other, a red light will come on and you will win one of the letters from home. 

"You will have 15 minutes in total to win as many letters as you can. You should now decide the order the letters should be saved. Starting in position one for the most valuable down to position five, which will be the last letter saved."

Thankfully, everyone won and they got the chance to read out their letters to each other, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house!

Finally, we said goodbye to Frankie...

Frankie Dettori was eliminated in Sunday night's episode which means we're one step closer to crowning the King or Queen of the Jungle. But who will it be?

I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec have suggested that the next line-up of campmates shouldn't include any more politicians.

I'm A Celebrity viewers have already had some adverse reactions to the latest politician to head to the Aussie jungle. Nigel Farage has come under criticism for his place on the show, with one saying 'Don't think @Nigel_Farage deserves to be on there.'

The former Ukip and Brexit Party leader promised viewers before the show aired, "In the jungle, you're going to find the real me."

Ex-health secretary Matt Hancock appeared last year, whose appearance was also met with controversy.

The presenters of the hit ITV show, whose real names are Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, suggested that there should be 'a year without any politicians' during an Instagram livestream with fans on Saturday, the Daily Mail reported.

When Dec was asked whether Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was a potential future campmate, he replied, "I think we do a year without any politicians".

I'm A Celebrity co-presenter Ant replied, "Agreed, agreed, agreed."

ITV declined to comment when asked about the comments from the presenting duo, according to reporting from the BBC.

Nigel Farage has been criticised far and wide for his stint in the jungle, with fellow I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Sam Thompson labelling him a "d***" on Sunday's instalment of the ITV show.

Other fans have commented that this year's line-up isn't as strong, with one writing. 'Even Nigel Farage aside, the quality of campmates in this year's #ImACeleb is quite poor. 

'There aren't a terrible amount of likeable ones and those that are are dominated by the gobby ones sniping.'

I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 12 saw the campmates discussing Jamie's exit, Sam opening up about his ADHD diagnosis, and five unlucky celebrities faced the Barbaric Barbershop challenge.

Meanwhile, Marvin and Tony opened up about married life with their respective wives.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 12 last night...

Jamie Lynn's exit and washing up drama

In the morning, Nick woke up to discover he’d missed a lot while being asleep. He was confused and asked what he'd missed, saying: "What happened last night, because I was asleep?"

Nella said: "Oh! Jamie’s gone! We were like, ‘Who is going to tell Nick because he’s going to wake up and she’s gone?’"

She jokingly added: "But I think everything is your fault…"

In the Bush Telegraph Nick admitted: "Went to bed early and Jamie’s gone. It’s not nice. But there you go, we’ve got to carry on haven’t we? Eyes down, feet forward."

Meanwhile, after some criticism about the standard of the washing up by Fred, Josie said in the Bush Telegraph: "If I ever get in charge I’m really going to shake things up. I’m going to put Fred on pot wash. Not because I don’t like Fred, I love Fred, but he uses so many pots and pans, I don’t think he appreciates the pot wash."

As Fred cleaned up around camp, he admitted he’d inadvertently put the remaining bits of stock cube on the fire, which means they can't use it on their meals.

Fred said in the Bush Telegraph: "Everything was so dirty and I started to clean it again and unfortunately I threw the stock cube on the fire. Oh well, Ronaldo can miss a penalty, I can throw a stock cube on the fire."

Tony clarified: "You’re really not joking? That’s a killer. I don’t eat the rice on its own. Oh my god."

In the Bush Telegraph Tony said: “That’s probably the first time it’s boiled up a bit inside of me. That really annoyed me.”

Explaining his annoyance about the cleanliness Fred said: "For the washing up though, we have to have a standard and the standard has to be 10/10 every time. Because there’s only one kind of clean."

He added: “Every single item was dirty. It’s unacceptable.” 

Camp leader Sam announced some changes following Jamie Lynn leaving: "We have changed the camp chefs. We have now got Dani helping Fred as a camp chef."

He added: “But we can’t leave out the washer uppers. Nick you are also going to, in place of Jamie Lynn, do two things - camp maintenance - but also helping the ladies carrying the washing up down there… but you can’t do the washing up. You can carry it down and bring it up.”

Sam said in the Bush Telegraph: “We’re actually quite good leaders. We need to keep the peace between washer uppers and Fred."

The Barbaric Barbershop

Fred, Marvin, Frankie, Josie and Danielle arrived at the Trials in the first part of a two-day challenge, which will result in all campmates having faced a critter chosen by the public. 

Ant explained the rules, saying: "This is the Barbaric Barbershop. You’ll each take a seat in one of the barbershop chairs, placing your head in the head box above. You’ll need to use only your mouth and tongue to remove the star pieces off the threads in the head box. The aim of the game is simple, to use the star pieces to form a star shape and place it in your barbershop chair."

Dec added: "As you can see, each star has been split into two unique pieces. You need to find the two pieces that go together to form your star. However, all the pieces have been jumbled up. So the pieces in your box might not be for your stars. So you’re going to have to pass them between each other to complete the stars. And, be careful, if you drop a piece, it’s gone."

He added: “You have got 10 minutes to form 10 stars.” 

Ant continued: "You can stop the Trial at any point by saying ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ If one of you does… then the other people might not be able to form their stars. So you really do have to work as a team on this one."

Revealing the result of the public vote, Ant said: "Before we begin, we need to know what the public has voted to join you in there. Fred, let’s start with you, you will be joined by snakes. Marvin, you will be joined by snakes as well. Frankie, you’ll be joined by cockroaches. Josie, you will be joined by spiders. Danielle, you will be joined by rats."

As the game began Frankie was first to get a star free. Frankie said: “I’ve got one out!”  

Marvin swiftly got another out before Josie jumped out of her chair shouting: “Get me out of here!"

Calling her over Ant hugged her and said: "It’s OK you’re out now."

Dec updated the remaining celebrities: “You’ve got a possible six stars now, because you lose the two in her chair and the pieces in her box. Six maximum now.” 

Marvin told his campmates: “I’m ready to swap, not any of mine makes a star.”

Marvin and Frankie dropped a piece as they tried to share pieces of the puzzle. 

Dec confirmed: “You can now only find a maximum of five stars.” 

Fred said: “This is the worst puzzle you could ever give us guys!” 

Fred added: “Oh my god this is just so annoying.” 

Fred got one star together in his chair in the final second.  As they finished the Trial, Dec said: “Four out of a possible 10 then. Not bad going considering at 9 and a half minutes in you had one and you ended up with four!"

Dec asked Josie about her decision to leave the Trial: “Josie, bit much for you, that?”

Josie said: “I am like, petrified of spiders. I was hoping I might be able to get rid of that fear. But because they’re coming at you from behind I just didn’t know what it was. Yeah too much."

Dec said: "So actually, four out of a possible five is pretty good going."

Camp leader Sam opens up 

Marvin asked Sam about his ADHD diagnosis saying: “How old were you when you were diagnosed with it?”

Sam said: "Last year, mate. There’s loads of people who are actually like of a certain age who get diagnosed way later. When the low bits happen it goes low. But then the highs are really high. My girlfriend Zara is so steady and it’s so good for me. When she’s going steady I’m going like that [mimes wavy line]. 

“My time keeping is terrible. I get quite selfish, not just with her [my girlfriend], with everyone, my mates or whatever. My listening to Zara… I’m just finding myself staring off at something completely different. You sort of feel like you’re a bit of a k*** sometimes.” 

Josie said: "But you would not be Sam without it."

Marvin said: “I would just always say you’ve got loads of energy. Your energy is crazy bro and it’s what makes you great."

Sam added: "Weird no one spotted it beforehand at school, but if you look at all of my report cards, every single one says the same, it says: ‘Likeable enough guy, but lacks focus’. It’s staring at you in the face. If I’d known as a kid, not much would have changed, but how you feel about yourself probably changes. I remember crying into my textbook because I couldn’t understand the words going into my head. You want to do good. You don’t want to be mischievous or anything like that."

Sam in the Bush Telegraph said: "I’m not ashamed of having ADHD in any way. But I know that I would have felt better about myself at school if I’d been diagnosed with it at a younger age. I really was just like, ‘I just suck at everything.’"

Sam confessed: "I want to be a dad at some point. That’s another thing, we’ve got to get a handle on it. You’ve got to look after a child."

Marvin said: “You would be the most incredible dad.” 

Sam said: “What you’re doing now, sitting down, having an honest conversation, being able to listen, advise…”

Marvin advised: "Trust me, all my kids care about is giving them attention, being with them in the moment, loving them, cuddling them, they just want to have all of you and to be as fun as possible and feel loved."

Sam in the Bush Telegraph said: "Big Marv, he’s a really thoughtful bloke and such a great listener. He’s just a really good guy."

Marvin and Tony talk about their marriages

Discussing their wives in camp, Tony asked Marvin: "Is the group that Rochelle’s with still going strong?"

Marvin said: "Nah, that finished years ago. Not too long after we finished to be honest."

Tony asked: "Does she still sing, or enjoy singing?"

Marvin replied: “No, not really mate. She’s a great singer as well. She’s got her own business now, she does a bit of TV presenting.” 

Marvin asked: "Is your wife from Liverpool as well?"

Tony said: “Yeah. First time I met her I was 10/11 years old. Then they moved and I was still friends with the brother and then I was working in a nightclub as a security and she come up to the thing and said, ‘Anthony.’ At this stage everyone just called me ‘Bomber’ or Tony. I looked at her and she went, ‘Anthony, it’s me, Rachel.’ And I thought, ‘I do not know anyone that looks like you called Rachel.’ She said, ‘It’s Neil’s sister.’ My eyes went, ‘Wow!’ 

"Tried to play it cool, gave it about half an hour, bounded straight into that club and found her, said ‘Can I get you a drink, how are you, what’s going on?’ After about an hour I said, ‘Have you got a boyfriend?’ [She said], ‘No I haven’t.’ [I said], ‘Any chance we could go pictures or something? Go for a drink?’ and she just went, ‘No.’ 

“I was persistent. Carried on, carried on… she said ‘Listen, you’re just on my case constantly, give me your number and I’ll phone you…’ Anyway, she phoned me and said, ‘What do you want?’ I said, ‘I thought we could just go to the pictures or something.’

"I got us a taxi, went to the pictures… Got a kiss on the cheek, October 15th 2001. And that was it from there. That was the best thing that ever happened to me, 100%.”

Marvin in the Bush Telegraph said: "Persistence, persistence, persistence. Trust me. It was the same for me to get a first date with Rochelle, you know. He’s a bit of a romantic old Tony."

I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 11 saw Nick and Nigel doing a water-based Bushtucker Trial, Sam getting a bloody surprise, and Frankie telling campmates more about his time as a jockey.

There was also another Kiosk Kev challenge, but did the celebrities manage to win a treat for camp?

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 11 last night...

Sam, you've got red on you 

Camp leader Sam didn’t enjoy his first morning waking up in the camp leader’s bus, after finding a leech on his bottom. Not the best start to his time as the leader! 

Marvin pointed out: "You have blood on you."

Sam yelled: “Oh, no! A leech! Oh no. That’s dicey, Marv. Oh my god, it’s had a field day!"

In the Bush Telegraph, Sam was grossed out saying: "I had a leech attached to my a***. I felt so violated."

Marvin added: "The first night on the team bus definitely wasn’t the best start to the morning for our camp leader. He certainly woke up on the wrong side of the leech"

As Sam brushed his teeth, Fred asked: "Was it a big one? On the butt? Show me. Ah, that’s OK."

Fred in the Bush Telegraph explained: “He showed me his derriere; it's a tiny little speckle on his butt. I know it’s red and there was blood, but come on mate.”

Meanwhile, Fred told Sam about the stock cubes, which he cried over in the last episode: “Want some good news? I cooked the rice with the stock.” 

Praising the decision, Tony added in the Bush Telegraph: "I ate my first full portion of rice. It was a very smart decision [buying the stock cubes in the jungle vending machine]."

Frankie's wild ride

Frankie spoke to the campmates about his career and the nerves he faces saying: "I can control it now, I love it. It’s horrible, but it’s great."

Josie asked: “Who pays you then Franks to ride the horses?” 

Frankie said: "The body."

Josie confirmed: "Oh, the jockey club. So if you win, or come first, second or third…"

Revealing the rules, Frankie said: “First four get paid.” 

Josie replied: "What? So you could go to a race and not get paid?"

Frankie elaborated, saying: "We get £160 to ride the horse. But if we have a million pound race, I get £100,000 - I get 10%, around there. You’ve got to win the big races to make a good living. To get the big races you need a good horse. And to get a good horse, you’ve got to work for a big stable, it’s how it works."

Frankie also spoke about some of the other rules for jockeys including: "If you’re one pound lighter you’re disqualified."

Sam asked: "Why are you not allowed to be heavier?"

Frankie explained: "Because you’re cheating the public. The public bet on you and expect the horse to carry the weight."

Of winning at Ascot Frankie said: "I’m the first one to win seven straight. There were only seven, I won them all. Seven races, I won the lot."

Sam said: "He’s the best jockey that’s ever lived!"

Frankie said: "They even put a statue - I have two statues now."

Jamie Lynn was impressed, adding: "Oh my god, he’s the coolest person here."

Nick and Nigel are in too deep

Nick and Nigel were the latest two campmates to face a Bushtucker Trial and Ant asked them: "Why do you think it was you two voted for to come down and join us today"

Nigel said: "Don’t know. They kept picking all the women, so I guess it was time for the blokes to have a go. I can’t see any other reason."

Dec explained: "This is In Too Deep. It takes place in these two giant water tanks behind you. You’ll need to free those stars that are trapped at the bottom. You do this by releasing the spanners that are up there on the side of the tank. 

Then you’ll use them to unscrew the bolts that are holding the stars in place. When the stars are removed, you can collect them and get them in your bag. Only stars in your bag at the end of the Trial will count."

Ant added: "You’ll take it in turns collecting one star at a time. This is a Bushtucker Trial, expect the unexpected."

"You’ve got 11 minutes to get 11 stars. You can stop the Trial at any point by saying ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and we’ll stop the Trial, but then you will forfeit any further stars. The other celebrity can play on to get their stars, but with half the time. And of course, you don’t have to do it. You can say, ‘No thanks lads’ but you’ll go back to camp empty handed."

Nigel enthused: “We’ll do our best.” 

With water spiders on him, Nigel said: "I don’t mind that, it’s the water that worries me."

As he attempted to unscrew the stars, Nigel said: "I can’t do this."

Nigel opted to pass on the star, so it returned to Nick to try. 

As he continued his efforts to get stars, Nick exclaimed: “It’s a crocodile!” 

Nigel also chose to pass on his next one, confirming: "No, I’m done, sorry. Can’t do it. Get me out of here."

Dec explained: “Because Nigel has gone, we half the time. You’ve got 1.5 minutes to get your last two stars, Nick.” 

At the end of the Trial, Nigel said: “I wasn’t worried about the snakes.” 

Ant asked: "It was the water for you wasn’t it?"

Nigel said: "Just can’t do it. I let the side down."

Nick said: “Don’t be stupid, we’ve got six."

Ant and Dec confirmed as Nick counted out his stars on the ground that he’d found six stars, not bad for a solo effort! 

Fred and Danielle visit Kiosk Kev

Fred and Danielle arrived at a road sign themed challenge together. 

Kiosk Kev said: "G’day celebrities. Today’s Deals on Wheels challenge will put you in a very sticky situation. All you need to do is match the road signs with the correct meaning. The traffic light will go green if you get it correct. Get all six in the right place and you’ll win those Dingo Dollars."

Danielle admitted: "So I failed six times my driving test. Six! Sorry…"

Dressed in workwear, they tried to figure out how best to walk across the sticky road. 

Danielle said: "That floor was the stickiest thing I’ve ever stepped on!"

During the game they looked to match the road sign of an uneven road, minimum speed, no vehicles, river bank and more. 

Fred said: “We got some wrong, it happens.”

They completed the challenge and visited Kiosk Kev. 

Thankfully, they got the question right after being asked how many ‘doof doofs’ are in the EastEnders theme tune - the correct answer being 9 - and they won some crisps. 

I'm A Celebrity 2023 has confirmed that Jamie Lynn Spears has left the series and her last appearance on the show will be in Wednesday night's UK episode.

The news was announced on Wednesday, November 29 when it was revealed she had departed the camp due to medical reasons.

In a statement, ITV said: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."

Fans saw Jamie Lynn struggle to be away from her family during her time in the jungle and threatened to leave a number of times due to feeling homesick.

The campmates were always on hand to support Jamie Lynn through her emotional turmoil and she often opened up to them about her upbringing and life with her pop superstar sister Britney Spears.

She had an emotional heart-to-heart with Fred Sirieix about her teen pregnancy, as well as her struggles growing up in the limelight.

In I'm A Celebrity episode 10, Jamie Lynn broke down after having a small square of chocolate and vowed to leave again after she tried to get in contact with her family from the jungle phone box.

This comes two days after food critic Grace Dent left the show on medical grounds, which left her unable to continue taking part.

ITV announced: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."

Grace also struggled in camp and in I'm a Celebrity episode 6, she had a quiet chat with fellow campmate Josie Gibson where she admitted she was having a hard time and wanted to leave.

Announcing the news of Grace leaving camp, Hollyoaks legend Nick Pickard read a statement to the others where the former campmate said goodbye.

Nick read aloud: "My Dear campmates, I’m so sorry to let you down. I have left the camp for medical reasons. My heart is broken, I have loved and enjoyed getting to know you all. You’ve held me up and it’s been a pleasure being your friend through this experience. Leaving you all at this stage will be one of the saddest things in my life. I love you all. Your friend, Miss Grace Dent."

I’m A Celebrity 2023 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. 

There were frogs, tears and chocolate in I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 10, with Fred Sirieix crying over stock cubes, Danielle Harold getting another surprise in camp in the form of a frog and Jamie Lynn Spears breaking down after a chocolate treat.

Also, Sam Thompson carried on his duties as Camp Leader and Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori teamed up to take on Dreaded Beds at The Misery Motel.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 10 last night...

Check in at The Misery Motel

Campmates Marvin Humes, Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew were at The Misery Motel, where they found a set of instructions. 

Marvin read: “You have the chance to win up to 10 coins each. One after the other, you will enter your room to search for the coins, while the other two celebrities must look through the window to help you. You’ll have a total of 15 minutes for all three rooms. At the end of the challenge you can head to the jungle vending machine where you can buy some of the stars for tomorrow night’s meal and a treat for camp. Good luck."

Marvin went into his room first while Sam and Tony helped him out with clues, including the fact that he needed to empty the washing machine to find some coins. 

He was showered with critters as he searched around the room, which included lockers and storage boxes. 

Marvin retrieved all 10 coins in his allotted time and then it was Tony's turn to brave the bathroom.

He searched through a bath, towels and struggled to find coins in a bathroom cabinet filled with frogs.  

Sam encouraged him to go back just before his time ran out and he found two in the cabinet in his final seconds.  

Sam went third and had to search through a bedroom, where he was told that he needed to change the bedding to find his first three coins. 

He then found a torch that Marvin had to use back in reception to find a further clue, which was for Sam to look on the back of a painting, where several spiders were.

Sam was desperate to untie coins tied up in a safe, but was forced to leave them behind and ran out of his room with only a second to spare. 

Counting up their haul, they had 24/30 coins split, with Marvin winning 10 and Tony and Sam got 7.

The trio then got to go to the jungle vending machine, where the products in the vending machine were different prices, so they had to work out how to split their winnings best. 

They opted to buy five stars for 15 coins, stock cubes for four, a chocolate bar for four and an apron for camp chef Fred Sirieix with their remaining one coin.

Danielle's froggy surprise

At 3:56am, a frog jumped on Danielle's body, hand and then onto her face as she suddenly jumped up.

When she woke up, Danielle told Nick Pickard: “Nick, I had a frog on my cheek last night!” 

In the Bush Telegraph Danielle said: “A frog on my face... why me? Why was there a frog on my face… agh! Do I get a star for that or something?”

After the rather un-hoppy ordeal, the campmates got talking about films and actor Ryan Gosling, to which Jamie Lynn Spears said: “He’s a lovely person in real life. When I was younger I grew up around him because he was on The Mickey Mouse Club with my sister. Him, my sister, Justin [Timberlake], Christina [Aguilera]… all of them were on The Mickey Mouse Club. Justin and JC [from NSYNC].” 

Josie Gibson in the Bush Telegraph said: “Even though she’s brought up with a very different childhood, she’s still very, very normal.” 

Jamie Lynn added that she and her family lived at Disney World for a couple of summers, revealing that she always managed to say something that made everyone uncomfortable when she was a child.

She said: "I was like 3 or 4 and I was causing hell. I was really bad. They want to make a good impression, I’m in a little dress, I’m there at the stage, on my mama's hip, ‘This is Jamie Lynn my little sister’ and I went, ‘I just farted’. They were like, ‘It never mattered where we were, you always said something to make everyone uncomfortable.’”  

“I think it’s something I still do now. As a child you don’t know to filter yourself. And now I know how to be direct, but with a filter, if that makes any sense. But as a kid I was just very direct with no filter.” 

Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori take on the Dreaded Beds Trial

Frankie Dettori and Nella Rose were picked by the public to take on the latest Trial, Dreaded Beds. 

As they arrived at The Misery Motel, Dec explained: “In this Trial, you’re playing to win coins. Inside the Motel are 30 gold coins. These coins can be spent after the Trial at the jungle vending machine. There you can buy stars for meals for camp. You can also buy treats and other things. The more coins you’ve got, the more you can buy at the vending machine.” 

Ant continued that they would both enter a room each and lie down on the bed inside. In one room, there were a number of four digit codes and the celebrity had to feel around for the codes in total darkness and shout them to the celebrity in the next room.

They would then use these codes to unlock the boxes that had gold coins in them. There were 3 coins in each of the 10 boxes, meaning that there were 30 gold coins on offer and they had 10 minutes to find them.

Frankie chose to go in the pitch black room, leaving Nella to unlock the gold coins in the other room.

Frankie lay in the dark as snakes were added around him and while Frankie shouted numbers over to Nella, Dec encouraged her to keep trying all of the padlocks.

As Nella struggled to unlock any of the boxes, a snake tried to get into Frankie's pants.

Encouraging Nella to try all the padlocks with each code, Ant said to Nella: “You’ve got to try as many as you can, as quick as you can.” 

The hosts started to get frustrated as Nella continued to not open any padlocks, with Dec adding: “You haven’t tried them all Nella!” 

As time ran out, they finished the Trial with no coins won and the medics had to intervene when a snake latched itself onto Nella's back and wouldn't let go.

As they left, Frankie said to Nella: “We’ve still got plenty left in us. We’ll do better next time.” 

On the way back to camp, the pair went to the vending machine and saw what they could have won, including everyone's luxury items and tea bags.

Nella admitted that she felt devastated, as Frankie reassured: “So close, but so far. Hopefully we get another chance.” 

Stock cubes? More like sob cubes!

Marvin, Sam and Tony returned to camp triumphant with their vending machine haul.  

Sam explained: “What we decided to do, we bought five stars and treated ourselves to a couple of things…”

He then brought out a chef's apron from his pants — to the surprise of his campmates for his choice of where to store the items.

Sam gave the apron to Fred, before unveiling two stock cubes, which made Fred tear up!

Josie in the Bush Telegraph said: “Oh my god, stock cubes. I could see Fred’s eyes welling up.” 

Sam noticed too, saying: “He’s got tears!”

Fred in the Bush Telegraph said: “It almost feels like Christmas Day. It’s not in his bag, it’s in his pants!”  

Sam then revealed a bar of chocolate as the whole camp cheered with excitement.

Nigel Farage said: “That’s going to go down so well!” 

Danielle added: “I am so excited for that chocolate!” 

Explaining their choices, Sam said: “Jamie, your luxury item was on there. Nigel your chair, Fred, your tune, but we thought you’d want the chocolate more.” 

Jamie Lynn congratulated them for the decisions they’d made saying: “Honestly, if you were going to get one person’s luxury item, I don’t think that’s fair. I think y’all did good. You got something for the camp’s morale.” 

Although she did seem rather confused by the apron and asked why they chose it, as Sam told her that they had one coin left.

Later on, Nella and Frankie returned to camp empty handed and their campmates were supportive of their efforts.

Campmates and chocolate

In the Bush Telegraph camp leader Sam said of the weather: “The heavens have opened. I’ve never seen a wetter day than right here, right now. In my entire existence by the way. It’s like a monsoon. I’m team leader, I’m on my throne, I want people to be happy.” 

Sam rallied his camp by saying: “Do you know what we need? A bar of chocolate!” 

Sam said in the Bush Telegraph: “The camp went wild! Everyone’s clapping. It was like we’d won the World Cup!” 

Fred served them all their allocated chocolate square in his apron. 

Josie chose to save hers, saying that she was going to have chocolate rice, while Tony said in the Bush Telegraph: “Save it? My backside hasn’t been this thin for a long while!” 

Nick said of Sam’s reaction to the chocolate: “Sam was just in a trance state!”

As they shared out every grain of chocolate, Tony laughed: “The struggle is real!” 

In the Bush Telegraph Tony said: “I let a piece of chocolate melt on my tongue in my mouth. That was a very strange thing to do. The jungle has made me soft.” 

Sam declared: “Under my rule, you have eaten chocolate!” 

Chocolate turns into tears

Jamie Lynn took herself away from camp to cry and sobbed to herself how miserable she was feeling. 

When she walked back in, fellow campmate Tony checked on her as Danielle cuddled her, saying: "I don’t blame you today.” 

Jamie Lynn said: “That little square of chocolate p*****d me off.” 

Danielle said: “It’s because it gives you a taste of what’s outside…” 

Jamie Lynn laughed: “I probably should have just let someone else eat it. I feel a little better maybe. I just needed to cry.”

Nick encouraged her to "have a little cry" as Jamie Lynn confessed that eating chocolate just made her depressed and wanted more.

Jamie Lynn went into the phone box and attempted to call her family but had no luck as she said: "I hate it here so much...this place is where people go to have the worst days of their lives...I think I've got to leave."

As she lay on her bed and cried, Tony said in the Bush Telegraph: “She’s just getting frustrated, she misses her kids. She’s so far away from home. It’s good to just go and ask someone how they’re doing. Just look out for each other. Everyone should have that attitude with everybody.” 

Tony checked in on her near the creek, as Jamie Lynn shared: “I needed a change of scenery. I was struggling earlier.” 

Tony asked: “Do you need anything?”

Jamie Lynn said: “No, I’m just tired of sitting up there. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you come all the way down here.” 

Giving her a hug, Tony reassured her: “Don’t be silly, I was coming to see how you was.” 

The camp were given venison fillet for dinner as Josie and Nella spoke about Nella's earlier argument with Nigel.

In the morning, Ant and Dec announced that Nick and Nigel had been voted to do the next Trial, In Too Deep. 

I’m A Celebrity 2023 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. 

Following on from I'm a Celebrity 2023 episode 8, where Marvin revealed his proposal story, the camp crowned its leader as chosen by the public. 

Meanwhile, Fred Sirieix made birthday plays for Tony Bellew, Josie Gibson, and Danielle Harold took on the Down the Tubes trial, and the camp reacted to Grace Dent leaving the series.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 9 last night...

Follow the camp leader

Monday night's episode saw I'm a Celebrity 2023 crowning a camp leader, based on votes from viewers at home, and fans decided they wanted Sam Thompson in charge of things.

When he learned the news, Sam did a celebratory lap around camp and told the Bush Telegraph: "I’m camp leader! Yes!"

He chose Marvin as his deputy, giving the pair the chance to use and sleep in the camp bus, as well as choose who was going to do which chores around camp. 

He said: "We’re going to smash it. The reason I picked Marvin is because he’s the one, when I’m being stupid, to be like, ‘Mate, you probably shouldn’t do that.’"

They decided to allocate the chores as follows:

Fred & Jamie Lynn = cooking 

Josie & Nella = washing up 

Tony & Danielle = dunny 

Nick & Tony = camp maintenance 

Frankie & Nigel = water 

Sam also had the leader chair positioned in camp for his use during his jungle reign. 

The camp said goodbye to Grace

Announcing the news of Grace leaving camp, Nick read a statement to the others where the former campmate said goodbye.

Nick read aloud: "My Dear campmates, I’m so sorry to let you down. I have left the camp for medical reasons. My heart is broken, I have loved and enjoyed getting to know you all. You’ve held me up and it’s been a pleasure being your friend through this experience. Leaving you all at this stage will be one of the saddest things in my life. I love you all. Your friend, Miss Grace Dent."

All the celebrities rallied around Grace, with all of them offering words of support to their campmate, who had already departed.

Frankie shouted out loud: "Grace, we miss you!"

Danielle added: "Love you, Grace."

Marvin said: "Miss you, Grace."

Nick said: "That’s really sad."

Agreeing, Marvin insisted: "She hasn’t let us down!"

Danielle said: "Bless her, she did really well."

Down the Tubes

Josie and Danielle arrived at the clearing for today’s Trial, Down the Tubes, with Danielle taking Grace's spot in the challenge.

Ant asked: "Danielle, as you know, Grace was unable to take part and as you had the next highest number of votes we’ve got you down here as a last-minute substitute. Do you feel OK about it? Is it better that you haven’t had a long time to prepare?"

Danielle replied: "I think so, the shock might help a little bit and I’m glad I’m here with my Josie."

Revealing the rules, Dec explained: "This is Down The Tubes. You’ll each be strapped into one of these giant tubes, suspended high above the valley floor. One of you will be inside the red tube that contains 10 coloured stars. 

"What you have to do is unlock the stars and then throw them to the celebrity that is in the blue tube, who will unlock their matching coloured box and place the star inside. If a star drops to the valley, it’s gone, you’ve lost it. That’s for the first 10 stars."

Once the Trial was over, Dec confirmed: "There were two that got away, but you managed to lock eight in the box plus the two that you held onto when you dropped out, that makes a grand total of 10 stars."

So 10 stars equals 10 meals for camp, which is not a bad score! 

Misery loves Company

Later the campmates learned there would be an overnight challenge, the Misery Motel. 

Sam read the note to camp: "Celebrities, tonight only eight of you will be sleeping in camp. Three rooms have been reserved at the Misery Motel where you will have the chance to win coins to be spent at the jungle vending machine. It’s up to you to decide which three campmates will check in."

Jamie Lynn said in the Bush Telegraph: "The Misery Motel… it seems like this is going to be a doozy."

The campmates asked Sam to choose and he nominated himself, Sam said: "I’m a man of the people, I’m not going to ask anyone to do something that I’m not going to do myself. And you know I like contributing…"

And Tony added: "I’ll go, I’m game."

Finally, Marvin said: "I can’t leave you behind mate, I’ll go."

Sam confirmed: "The three wise men!"

To which Tony joked: "Take the wise out…"

Jamie Lynn encouraged them: “You’re going to kill it.” 

Arriving at the Misery Motel, the trio checked into reception before they were surprised with a shower of critters, where the episode ended on a teasing cliffhanger. 

More about this Trial will be revealed in Tuesday night's episode.

I'm a Celebrity 2023 continues on Tuesday, November 28 at 9 pm on ITV1 and ITVX. 

Following on from I'm a Celebrity 2023 episode 7, where the groups merged together, Marvin told some campmates about how he proposed to his wife, Rochelle.

Meanwhile, Sam and Nella (affectionately dubbed "Salmonella"!) took on the underwater trial Fishy Business, and the camp leadership vote opened.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 8 last night...

Marvin's one-take proposal

Chatting in camp with Nella and Josie, Marvin dished the details on his proposal to Rochelle: "When I was ready to settle down, and I knew Rochelle was the one, I took her to the Maldives for Christmas. 

"On the day, I hired a tiny little island, small, from here to the treehouse, maybe twice the size… they dropped us off maybe 11 am and I stood next to her, saying, ‘Let’s do a picture’. Then I went down on one knee."

The whole thing was a whirlwind and Marvin added: "We got back home, and immediately started planning the wedding. We got married, we had five days together, then she went to America for six weeks to shoot a TV show in LA. Then I met her in New York, we had one night together in New York, she went back to LA, I went back to London, six weeks later she was pregnant, from that one night in New York."

Reacting to the story Nella laughed, saying: "Don’t play with big Marv. He said, ‘I’ve got one night, one night only, I’m going to make it happen tonight.’"

Sam and Ella's Fishy Business

After being chosen by the public to take on the Fishy Business Trial, Sam and Nella headed to meet Ant and Dec, and Sam was thrilled to see them and said it was "really cool" to be chosen.

He admitted: "It’s a pleasure, it’s an honour. I’ve always wanted to be stood here looking at you guys like this, so this is just really, really cool."

However, Ant said: “I’m not sure if Nella agrees…"

Nella agreed, saying: "You’re here to face your fears, it’s not really a free holiday, so, you just expect the unexpected all the time."

But Sam was raring to go, insisting: "We’re a great team. Sam and Nella… it’s catching!"

Revealing the details of their Trial, Dec explained: "This is Fishy Business. This is a question and answer Trial. As you can see under the water are seven tanks, one of them contains questions, the other six display sea creatures, which are all possible answers. Nella, you’re reading the questions, Sam you’ve got to go and find the answers."

Ant added: "Once you’re at your chosen tank, which you think is the answer, you’ve got to release the star using only your mouth. Then and only then will we tell you if the answer is correct. There are 12 questions because there are 12 stars on offer and you’ve got 12 minutes to do this Trial."

The pair raced against the clock, getting a final 10 out of 12 stars as the timer hits zero, meaning they'd secured 10 camp meals. But it had been no easy task, with Sam encountering mud crabs, toads and lobsters along the way! 

Tony admits the referee once saved his life

Back in camp, Jamie Lynn was getting to know new campmate Tony and asked him: "What does it feel like when you knock somebody out?"

Tony said: “Do you know what, babe? It’s a relief it’s over.” 

Jamie Lynn added: “You’re not happy to knock someone out, but you are kind of, because that’s your job…”

But Tony replied: “I live for the knockout.” 

Jamie Lynn admitted: "It would be my worst nightmare to know I have to literally fight."

Responding to this, Tony said: "The most important part is controlling yourself emotionally. You can’t be emotionally attached to the event, you’ve got to be cold."

He added: “I don’t think anything I’ve done is really special. Anyone can do it, you’ve just got to be willing to sacrifice.” 

Jamie Lynn laughed: "I’m sorry no. No, no, no. There’s a lot of things anyone can do, boxing is not one of them!"

Meanwhile, Sam asked: “What was it like fighting [Oleksandr] Usyk?"

Tony replied: "Too hard. Obviously, he’s amazing. I’ve fought stronger people, I’ve fought quicker people, but I’ve never fought someone like him who has got everything. He works you out. 

"He downloads what you do. He’s downloading all the data in front of him. It takes him three rounds to do it. With me, it took him eight. And then he does it, he pulls the trigger. But I was exhausted, like. I remember everything up until round 7. I don’t remember round 8."

Sam asked: “Does he hit hard or not?”

Tony said: "No and I was up at six. He didn’t knock me clean out… I get up at six, thank god the referee didn’t let me because he’d have killed me."

Tony added in the Bush Telegraph: "The referee literally saved my life. Next shot probably puts me away for good. So, boxing at the highest level in the professional business is brutal. My priority was to make it home safe. After that it was to win at all costs.”"

Sam then compared the size of his hand to Tony’s before yelling to Marvin: "This hand is just a hand, but this hand has knocked out so many people!"

Fred then asked Sam: "Could you imagine if Tony Bellew was knocking you out?” 

Nick and Frankie's milk float challenge

Nick and Frankie arrived at a milk float-themed challenge, where they were told the rules.

The rules were as follows: "In front of you are 25 milk bottles and my jungle milk float and a tank full of milk. All you have to do is get the milk from the tank into the bottles using the milk float. If you can fill all of them before the sand timer runs out then you’ll win the dingo dollars."

Frankie warned: “It looks too easy - we’re going to get a surprise somewhere along the line.”

As they began, they found that driving the float resulted in the milk pouring over onto them to which Nick said: "The initial shock when the milk came over the sides - it was freezing!"

Struggling to move the milk float, Nick laughed, saying: "I don’t think we’re ever going to make the milk run, I think we’d probably get sacked on the first day."

He jokingly added: “I’d get on a horse with Frankie, I don’t think I’m ever getting back in a motor with him.” 

Once they completed it, Frankie rode off with the dingo dollars on Nick’s back. When Kiosk Kevin phoned camp, Marvin answered the phone and revealed to camp that the question was: 

Which of these storylines did not happen to Nick’s character Tony in Hollyoaks:

A: He jumped off of a cliff to escape a drug lord 

B: One of his children was swapped at birth 

C: He opened a balloon shop, which later exploded. 

Camp got the question wrong, with the answer being C. When Nick and Frankie returned they revealed they’d lost, a disappointing result! 

Follow the leader...

At the end of the episode, viewers were asked to vote for who they wanted to see lead the other celebrities, where they'll be delegating the chores and getting to make use of the camp bus alongside their deputy camp leader. 

The results will be announced in Monday night's show.

I'm a Celebrity 2023 has confirmed that Grace Dent will no longer be taking part in the series as she has withdrawn early.

The news was announced early on Monday, November 27 when it was revealed she had departed the camp due to medical reasons, which have left her unable to continue taking part.

In a statement, ITV said: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."

Fans saw Grace struggling during I'm a Celebrity episode 6, where she had a quiet chat with fellow campmate Josie Gibson where she admitted she was having a hard time in camp and wanted to leave.

During their conversation, Grace pulled Josie to one side and said: “I’ve had enough. I’ve completely had enough. I just want to go home.” 

Trying to get her spirits back up, Josie encouraged: “It’ll be good for you. What an experience.”

Meanwhile, Grace said in the Bush Telegraph: "I haven’t got a lot left in me at the moment. I’m just keeping on a face for everybody."

She didn't elaborate more than that, but it was clear she wasn't doing too well and camp life had been hard for her, as some viewers commented that she was "looking pale".

Grace had been part of the Home team during the camp playoffs, meaning she was in the losing team that did not get to enjoy the Breakfast of Champions, which was gratefully received by the Away team instead.

She managed to avoid the dreaded Down Your Sorrows drinking trial, which was played by Nigel Farage and Tony Bellew, who managed to secure all 12 stars and as a result, 12 camp meals that were better than rice and beans.

Grace's departure from the competition means she will not get to join Josie Gibson in the Down The Tubes trial on Monday night's episode, so it is likely the contestant with the third most votes will be joining instead.

The food critic has not yet publicly opened up about her early departure from I'm a Celebrity.

I'm A Celebrity viewers have said they're finding YouTuber Nella Rose 'hilarious', but there's one campmate fans really want to see take part in a Bushtucker trial next.

Marvin Hulmes is proving to be a popular choice for viewers of the ITV show, who want to see him overcome his fear of heights with a Bushtucker trial. 

'Sam & Marvin are both scared of heights … help them face their fears .. again,' wrote one fan on Twitter after Marvin revealed his fears. 

To which another fan replied, 'I've voted for the same reason! Also it will be funny.'

While another wrote, 'Come on, Marvin needs to do a trial now!!'

Another said, 'Vote Marvin guys. He’s scared of heights.'

To which another I'm A Celeb fan replied, 'I couldn’t do a trial with Sam. He’d put me off.'

While another wrote, 'Voted Danielle & Marvin - want them to have more airtime they are fading into background.'

I'm A Celebrity fans are enjoying seeing the dynamic play out between two contestants in particular. 

I'm A Celebrity viewers are just getting to know the new line-up of celebrities in the Australian outback competing to be the King and Queen of the jungle. 

Tonight's episode saw controversial contestant Nigel Farage come to blows with First Dates star Fred after the latter told Farage he 'destroyed the economy'. 

Fans were very much in approval of Fred's blunt approach to calling Nigel out, with one writing on social media, 'The thing is Nigel… you destroyed the economy' alongside a video of a woman laughing. 

While another said alongside a video of a woman doing a thumbs up, 'Fred saying to Nigel he’s destroyed the economy.'

While another said, 'fred calling out nigel again, we love to see it.'

And another wrote, 'Make this man Camp leader! Him being the only one challenging Nigel Farage is iconic we need this!'

While another said, 'Fred going after Nigel again.'

And another wrote, 'Fred: “The thing is Nigel you destroyed the economy” FRED LEFT NO CRUMBS.'

While another highlighted how things can get a little awkward for the other campmates when Nigel and Fred talk politics.

Some people pointed out that it is somewhat unfair that Fred has been praised for challenging Nigel, while Nella Rose has come under criticism.

After being split up into two teams, the camp is united once again with everyone getting the chance to mingle, after we learned about Frankie Dettori's unlikely English lessons in I'm a Celebrity 2023.

In this episode, the winning team from Friday night got to enjoy the coveted Breakfast of Champions, which was a coveted meal considering the camp has been surviving on a diet of beans and rice for the most part!

Elsewhere, there was a horrible eating challenge and the camp merged back into one group again, meaning they were once again getting stars to feed everyone, not just one team.

Here's what happened in I'm a Celebrity episode 7 last night...

Celebs downed their sorrows

Speaking about the new eating challenge, Ant explained: "This is Down Your Sorrows. It’s a drinking Trial, 12 rounds, 12 stars up for grabs. You’ll each take it in turns to pick a shield from our sporting hall of fame and flip it over to reveal a drink.

"You’ve then got to drink that drink to earn the star. There are 12 drinks in total because there are 12 people in camp."

Dec revealed: "The public has decided the celebrities they want to see face Down Your Sorrows are Nigel and Tony."

He went on to ask about reasons for being chosen, saying: "Nigel, why do you think the public have chosen you today?"

Nigel answered: "I don’t know. I’ve been surprised I haven’t been picked more during the week, to be honest with you. So, here I am."

Of also being picked, Tony added: "I have no idea, mate. They just want to see a big dopey scouser… drink a load of crap."

Dec said: “You both know what you have to do, it’s a drinking Trial.”  

While Nigel joked: "I suspect this may be rather different to my normal tipple."

There were some horrible beverages on the menu including blended fly pupae, blended pigs’ noses, crocodile feet,  blended cockroaches,  blended bulls’ penis, and blended goat testicles.

Following the ordeal, Tony and Nigel both succeeded and won a full 12 meals for camp, which was excellent news as it meant no one would be going hungry and perhaps this would somewhat fix the jealousy that some celebs were feeling about the Breakfast of Champions!

The Breakfast of Champions

Returning to camp victorious the Home team found a table set up covered in plates full of scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, toast, orange juice, and more, the perfect breakfast for hungry celebrities. 

Sam said: “That table was absolutely packed with food!”

Frankie admitted: “The pile of food! There was food there for 10 people, not 6!” 

Danielle said as she ate: “This is so good.” 

Frankie said: “First time I saw Sam quiet!” 

In the Bush Telegraph Fred said: “I’ve had some very good breakfasts in my life, but this one was top. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, the fat of the bacon, I can still taste it in my mouth, it was heaven.”

Nella exclaimed: "Seasoning!"

Jamie Lynn said: "I’ve had a wonderful time in this camp, you’re all really lovely. I love the guys in the other camp, too."

She added: "It was better than any meal I’ve had in my whole entire life. And not only was it wonderful, but I was sharing it with the people who I really care about."

Fred said: "I think we should keep some of the bacon to cook with the beans later."

Jamie Lynn admitted: "Fred is quite the scavenger. He goes and he finds the butter, the salt, the pepper, rosemary, thyme, bacon and he mixes it in the bean stock."

Howeber, Danielle explained that they weren't allowed to share breakfast food in camp: "Guys… Home team, as winners of the Breakfast of Champions you are only allowed to eat the food. You must not share anything with the Away team. Any food you have taken or used to flavour the rice and beans must be consumed now, or handed in. 

"If you have not consumed or handed in all of the food by the time they return there will be consequences, including the possible loss of stars from today’s Trial."

The camp merges into one big group

As the two camps merged Sam had one contestant he was extremely keen to see, saying: “I’m so excited for Tony Bellew!”

Meanwhile, Josie said: "Feels so good to be back. I forgot how much I love this camp. It’s just got an energy about it that’s magic."

Josie also addressed the drama between Nella and Fred, after they cut ties in episode 3.

Josie then asked Nella: “Are you and Fred friends yet?”

Nella replied: "Yeah, yeah, yeah."

Josie said: “Oh good. I knew you’d iron it out. I bet you get on really well now. I knew that would happen."

Sam also got a hug from Tony, who he had been very excited to see in camp.

Tony told Sam about the Trial and said: “We got 12 stars.”

Celebrating the result, Sam asked: "Can I hug you or not?”

To which Tony replied: “Course you can mate."

In the Bush Telegraph Sam said: “I’ve watched a tonne of his fights. He’s bigger in real life, he’s a unit.”

Sam told Tony: “If you need anything!" and Tony replied: “Thank you very much.” 

Fred continued to show Tony around and told the Bush Telegraph: "Sam is so excited that Tony Bellew has arrived in the jungle. He can’t believe his eyes and he can’t believe his ears."

Jamie Lynn addresses "cool aunt" rumours

Sam asked Jamie Lynn: "Do Britney’s kids really like you? Are you like the cool aunt? Do you think she’s watching you on this?"

Jamie Lynn said: "I can imagine she’d be worried about me on here. I think she’s probably checking in on me heavily. I do think she’s probably like, ‘Why would she do that?’ She asked me that before I came here, she was like, ‘You’re really going to do it?’ I was like, ‘I’m going to go to Australia and check it out.'"

"My crying, she’d probably be like, ‘Ya’ll get her the f*** out of there, right now!’ She’s a good big sister, she is. Yeah, I love her. Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, family’s fight. Listen, we just do it better than most."

Sam replied: "But everyone does man. Everyone’s got stuff they argue about all the time.” 

Jamie Lynn said: “Me and her both have had a very complicated upbringing. We’ve had very complicated circumstances and we both had to deal with them in different ways. Sometimes we took it out on each other when perhaps we shouldn’t have. I’ve never, ever… I’ve been the one person in her life - and she can say this - I’ve never taken anything from her, you know? I’ve been the one person in her life who’s always said, ‘I just want to be your sister’. 

“We just had a really weird life so we can’t explain it to many people, but at the end of the road I know that that’s my family, I love them."

The next trial...

The next trial, Fishy Business, went to the public vote and they decided that Sam and Nella will be taking on the terrifying underwater challenge. 

Following on from Danielle Harold's surprising description of Nigels's bum I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 5, Frankie Dettori revealed one of the ways he learned English after he moved to the UK.

Meanwhile, celebs got up close and personal with more jungle critters in the latest trial, and Jamie Lynn opens up about her sister Britney's iconic kiss with fellow pop superstar Madonna.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 6 last night...

Frankie's English lessons

Jockey Frankie Dettori hails from Milan and moved to the UK by himself when he was younger, and revealed a very interesting way he started teaching himself English words.

It turns out he tuned in to one of our beloved soaps, none other than EastEnders, which got quite a funny reaction from Danielle Harold, who is best known for her role as Lola Pearce-Brown.

Opening up the conversation, Fred Sirieix asked Frankie about moving country, saying: "So you were born in Milan, when did you come to the UK?"

Frankie said he was 14, and when asked if he moved by himself he said yes and elaborated, saying: "Yeah. I said, ‘Dad, I’m going to be a jockey.’ He said, ‘Right, if you’re going to be a jockey, I want you to take it seriously, so I’m going to send you for six months in England, six months in France."

He added: "I stayed in a bed and breakfast. It was hard. I was homesick, cried every night. About three months [I cried]. Not always. I learned the phrase, ‘What is this?’. Then I watched TV. Your thing [Danielle], EastEnders…” 

Amused by this revelation, Danielle replied: “Do you know how many people say to me, ‘I learned English watching EastEnders’. It’s probably the worst place to learn."

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, she joked that she expected people to start saying Peggy Mitchell's iconic "Get out of my pub!" line in their respective accents after learning from the soap, before doing what she described as a "rubbish" Italian accent. 

Touchdown of Terror

Meanwhile, Grace Dent and Nella Rose learned they would be facing the next Trial, Touchdown of Terror, and it was up to their Coaches to pick who would play with them.

Sam Thompson was chosen by Frankie to go with Nella on the Home team. Meanwhile, Tony Bellew gave Grace the option to choose her partner, but she declined, and Nigel Farage volunteered to take on the challenge, joining her on the Away team. 

Host Ant explained the Trial saying: "Over three rounds you must score as many touchdowns as you can. The team that scores the most touchdowns will win dinner for camp. The losing team will stay on rice and beans. 

"Nella and Grace, as you were the celebrities voted for by the public, you will have your head in an American football helmet which will be filled by different jungle critters. You must retrieve the American footballs from the hell hole. Once you’ve retrieved a ball you’ve got to throw it to your teammate, Nigel and Sam."

Co-host Dec then continued: “It’s then up to you two to catch the ball, run with it and score a touchdown in the red end zone. If you drop the ball it’s lost and it’s out. You’ll have to do this while enduring some company in your pants."

After a stressful challenge that involved ants, mealworms, and other creepy crawlies, the result was a tight one and the Away team was awarded a nice dinner after the Home team pulled the cord, resigning from the challenge.

Ant confirmed this, saying: "So with the scores very close at 2-1 Nella pulled the emergency cord which meant a default win for the Away team!"

Dec added: "Well done Away team, you will get dinner tonight. Home team, you’re on rice and beans."

This win seemed to please Grace and lifted her spirits a bit, having previously told the Bush Telegraph:  "I haven’t got a lot left in me at the moment. I’m just keeping on a face for everybody."

The Away team was awarded Camel Steaks for their treat, while the Home team had to eat rice and beans, a much less pleasant dinner!

Jamie Lynn learns about Chelsea

Jamie Lynn asked Sam about his time on Made in Chelsea, asking if it was a "nice area", to which everyone in the camp confirmed it was considered to be a very nice place.

Sam explained he joined the programme in season 6, and Jamie Lynn seemed to have a genuine interest, having never watched it or heard much about it before joining the jungle.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph about the programme, Jamie Lynn said: "I'm going to go back and watch the whole seasons, of everyone's stuff, but mostly Made in Chelsea as it sounds like my kind of thing."

So, who knows, maybe Jamie Lynn will become a fan of the E4 series!

Fred asks about that Britney and Madonna kiss

Fred seemed to be in an inquisitive mood in this episode, as he also asked Jamie Lynn Spears about her sister's famous kiss with Madonna.

He opened up the conversation, saying: "I’ve never asked you about your sister, but I was just thinking about, do you remember when she kissed Madonna, or Madonna kissed her? How did it come about?"

To which Jamie Lynn replied: "They just did it. I was at home watching like, ‘Oh OK, this will be fun tomorrow at school, can’t wait."

She added: “Anything my sister did I always thought was the best. When it came to my sister, even if I felt anything, if anyone said anything I was ready to go. I was like, ‘Don’t talk about my sister, she’s the best.’ And so literally I just thought - and by the way, in today’s world it would mean nothing - but it was this iconic moment that they went with and it happened and it’s what they did.” 

Speaking about her family’s reaction, Jamie Lynn added: “My mum was like, ‘It’s artistic, she’s expressing herself.’"

Fred asked: “Who became famous first?”

Jamie Lynn replied: “My sister, she’s 10 years older. She was famous since I was about 6 or 7."

Frankie then asked: "Is it true you don’t get on with her now?"

Jamie Lynn denied this, replying: "Yeah, I love my sister."

Power Shower Playoffs

Jamie Lynn and Danielle hit the showers to take on Marvin and Josie to earn further points towards the breakfast of champions, in this challenge. 

The instructions read: "Welcome to the second playoff, Power Shower. One of you will operate the Power Shower, while the other will wear a giant sponge ball. Working together, your job is to soak up as much liquid from the shower and then squeeze it into the drain in front of you. You will win three points for every litre you collect."

The challenge was lots of chaos, naturally, seeing the contestants getting covered in bugs, smelly liquid and even having the other jump on them to squeeze out the liquid.

Jamie Lynn added: "If I lose this for my team, let me tell you, I will be so disappointed for myself. I’ll never recover."

Danielle added: "We want this breakfast more than anyone."

Meanwhile, Josie joked: "If there’s one thing I can do, it’s drain the life out of things."

Returning to their camps Away team’s Josie and Marvin found out they were victorious taking the scores up to Home 137 - 216 Away. 

Breakfast of Champions

Elsewhere, Coach Frankie and his Home team campmate Fred and Coach Tony and his Away team campmate Nick battled it out in the final playoff, Handball. 

The instructions said: "Welcome to the final playoff, Handball. At the sound of the whistle, each room will begin to fill with coloured balls. 

"Working together, you need to collect as many balls as possible and put them in the correct ball bag. However, you will be wearing giant foam fingers. The smaller the ball, the more points you will win."

Afterward, Frankie felt his tactics were spot on and Fred said: "I’m sure we won this playoff!"

The campmates found out live from Ant and Dec who had won and thus earned the breakfast of champions, where they declared that the Home team had won the coveted breakfast and got to eat some well-deserved treats.

Naturally, the Away team was devastated and was also told that two of them would have to do the next challenge, which is the dreaded eating challenge, this one is called Down Your Sorrows and it sounds... truly disgusting!

Frankie Dettori has spoken in depth on I'm A Celebrity 2023 about why he abandoned his horse racing retirement plans, talking about how much he enjoyed the crowd chanting his name when he landed a race.

The 52-year-old jockey stunned the horse racing world when he announced last year that the 2023 season would be his final in the saddle. And then the Italian-born sporting sensation surprised the racing world even more by telling them he wasn’t retiring anymore in October. Instead, Frankie is heading to America where he plans to continue his riding career.

On last night's I'm A Celeb, Frankie confessed: "I got to the beginning of the season, I thought I’m 52, I’ve had a great life riding, and I'm on the top at the moment. I might as well stop at the top. So I announced: 'Right, this is my last year, going to say my last goodbyes.' Announced it to the world, [then] went to California for four months, smashed it, did really well. Then I came back to England, kept on winning, kept on winning… and I got to August, the season stops in October and I thought, 'I don’t really want to retire!'" 

He added: "You’re winning, the crowd is shouting your name".

Jamie Lynn Spears asked him what he was like racing in top-class class races and whether it was different when he was riding a top horse. He replied: "Of course, like in any sport, when you're at the top level the margins are so small. It's a bit like Formula 1. Why is one driver faster than the other when they've got the same cars?"

He also talked about how he’d grown up in the sport, saying: "I was born in racing, my dad was a jockey. I was practically born on a horse really. Then I had good teachers… the rest is history.”

Following suit from Josie Gibson's naked surprise, Danielle Harold got more than she bargained for as Nigel Farage bared all yet again in I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 5!

Also, the camp split in two and Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellew went head-to-head in a gross Trial that involved pigs' testicles.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 5 last night...

Danielle gets more than she bargains for

Tea was on everyone's minds in the morning as Danielle asked Nick Pickard if there was any "jungle tea" today.

Nick replied there was no jungle brew as Danielle explained in the Bush Telegraph: “Me, Josie and Nick LOVE a cup of tea. So we save a bit of fruit from the night before, boil it up and there you have it guys, jungle tea. That’s desperation.”

While Nella Rose, Grace Dent and Sam Thompson spoke about coffee, Fred Sirieix interrupted their conversation by exclaiming: "Oh, I’ve got a tick! First tick.”

The campmates were in horror as they saw a tick burrow its head into Fred's arm.

Meanwhile, Nigel decided to have a bath.

However, Danielle was in for an unexpected surprise, as she walked past and saw Nigel's bare bottom while he climbed out of the tub!

 “That’s a sight… for sore eyes," she said to herself.

Danielle bumped into Josie and said: “I just saw something I never thought I’d see: Nigel’s bare a**e.”

Josie laughed: “I see it on the first day! Considering he’s nearly 60 it ain’t too bad.” 

Danielle replied: “He looks good doesn’t he? Nice little bum.”

Danielle in the Bush Telegraph admitted: “It was the weirdest feeling seeing Nigel Farage’s a**e first thing in the morning.” 

Josie and Danielle said in sync: “Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No… it’s Nigel Farage’s a**e!”

Danielle in the Bush Telegraph added: “I didn’t know what it was, a tiny gap through the trees, I was like, ‘What’s that animal… oh….oh….’” 

Danielle doing a Sir David Attenborough impression commented: “Here we have Nigel Farage, politician, in his natural habitat.” 

Josie joined in with the impression: “Long gone are the days of Brexit. He now just dwindles in the bush.”

Josie then informed Nigel that "we’ve all had a peek at your bottom.” 

A surprised Nigel asked: “Is that right? It’s not too bad is it?”

Josie said: “It’s not too bad Nige. I tell you what, it’s not too bad.” 

Locker Shocker

As all of the campmates arrived at "Scarena," hosts Ant and Dec informed them that they would be taking on the Locker Shocker Trial together.

Ant explained: “This is Locker Shocker. The rules are very simple; you’ll each be placed inside one of the lockers in front of you. The first five to finish the Trial will form one team. The remaining five will form the other team. 

“Inside each locker there are five stars locked to the bottom of the mesh. What you have to do is, using the keys, you’ve got to unlock the stars and then move them up through the mesh maze and out and into the yellow collection slot. But, not every key works. When you’ve collected all five stars, all you’ve got to do is step outside of your locker.” 

Dec added: “And be prepared, there might be a few surprises along the way.” 

Jamie Lynn Spears took an early lead with two stars. Fish guts, feathers and more were dropped on them as they scrambled to unlock the stars

Nigel, Nick and Grace struggled to get their first stars, then Grace lost her keys amongst the gunge and gave up with the Trial.

Jamie Lynn was first out. She was followed by Nella and then Sam. 

Fred almost got out next but then he dropped his final star. In the meantime, Danielle got out. 

It was neck and neck between Marvin Humes and Fred, but it was Fred who stepped out just before him and completed the Trial. 

This meant the five winners were: Jamie Lynn, Sam, Danielle, Nella and Fred.

And the five losers were: Nigel, Marvin, Nick, Josie and Grace.  

Dec said to the winners: “You are the winning team and you’re heading back to main camp where you’ll eat well tonight. You are now the Home team. That means you guys over there are heading to Snake Rock. You’ll be on rice and beans and you are now the Away team.” 

As they sat in their team bleachers, they were introduced to their coaches Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellew.  

Dec continued: “Whichever team has the most points will prove themselves as the true champions and will therefore be rewarded with a breakfast of champions.” 

The campmates screamed as they were then shown a video of pancakes, orange juice, bacon, toast with melting butter and eggs.

New coaches go head-to-head

To determine which team the coaches would train, Frankie and Tony went head-to-head in a Trial.

Ant explained: “This is Don’t Drop The Ball. Using only your mouths you have to move the balls from one end of the Scarena over the obstacles to the other end of the Scarena. The first coach to get five balls will be the coach of the Home team. And they’ll go to main camp and enjoy a lovely meal tonight. The loser will be the coach of the Away team.” 

Dec added that they could only move one ball at a time, adding that they were actually pigs' testicles.

Asked how they tasted as the race got under way, Tony said: “Salty!”

Frankie leapt ahead, easily jumping over the obstacles and won the Trial, meaning that he became the Home team coach and Tony became the Away team coach. 

New team camps

The Home team returned to main camp and found it had been decked out in their Home colours with some new uniforms for them. But what really stood out was a giant tour bus. 

Sam was excited as he inspected the bus, saying: “This place is sick. There’s proper seats!” 

Jamie Lynn said: “Guys, we can have dinner in there tonight.” 

Sam then read the laminate which explained: “Home team, welcome to the Home team camp. Your team shirts are hanging in the lockers, the team bus is for the exclusive use of Coach.”

Frankie commented: “I thought it was going to be living rough, sleeping in a hammock… there is this lovely bus, with cushions, windows so no bugs can get in… very spoilt.” 

Meanwhile, the Away team had a far less glamorous welcome as they arrived at Snake Rock.

They were shocked to see sleeping mats on the floor as Grace confessed: “Main camp was a bit of a hell hole, but it had beds and hammocks and a bath and this place does not seem to have any of that. We do have a new uniform though, which I’m quite excited about.”

Josie seemed traumatised when Grace informed her that there didn't seem to be a shower in Snake Rock.

"They can't do that to people!" Josie exclaimed.

However, she was in for more shock when Marvin spotted the shower and demonstrated how it worked.

He revealed that someone would stand at the top, pouring water from a tin down a wooden slope onto the person below.

A distressed Josie said: "I can't get over this. I'm in a state of shock again. Again."

Frankie and Tony bond with their new campmates

As they washed up at the creek in main camp, Jamie Lynn asked Frankie: “So you have obviously won a lot of races, how does that feel when you’re out there? How much is it your control that makes it.. is it different when you have a great one [horse]?”

Frankie explained: “Of course, like in any sport, when you’re at top level the margins are so small. It’s a bit like formula 1. Why is one driver faster than the other when they’ve got the same cars?”

Jamie Lynn said: “Just that one little edge they have.” 

Frankie said: “I was born in racing, my dad was a jockey. I was practically born on a horse really. Then I had good teachers… the rest is history.”

She added in the Bush Telegraph: “He’s been a disciplined athlete since he was born. That’s someone you want on your side.”

Meanwhile in Snake Rock, Tony was asked about his boxing career hopes and dreams. 

Josie questioned what his favourite fight was as he replied: “Goodison park when I won the world title. I mean, I achieved my lifelong dream that night. All my dreams came true. That was my main goal and focus in life.” 

Tony explained: “We were in the kitchen and my missus said, ‘That it now then, that’s you done?’ And I believe that a man should go out and provide for his family, probably everyone doesn’t agree with this or like it anymore… I go out and work and I try to give them the best I can… she said, ‘What do you mean?’ I said, ‘We’re so far away from financial security.’ We were basically f***ing skint.” 

Josie was surprised as Tony revealed: “I had a big, heavy, heavy mortgage. I shouldn’t say skint, but I was living on fight to fight.”  

Speaking about his fights with David Haye, Tony said: “Me and David get on these days. I’ve fought David twice and beaten him twice, but he’s a far better fighter than me.”

Slam Dunk'd

Both coaches had to send a pair of campmates down to face a challenge called Slam Dunk'd.

In main camp, Nella volunteered and Fred offered to join her. 

In the Bush Telegraph Danielle said: “Fred and Nella have both volunteered to go out for the challenge today… I reckon this will bond them even closer.”  

In the Away camp it was decided Nick and Marvin should team up. 

Arriving at the clearing Nella read the rules which said: “Welcome to the first play off, Slam Dunk’d. One team member must to try to shoot hoops while the other takes a seat over the ice tank. The basket ball net will only stay in position when the celebrity sitting over the ice tank is touching both the balls on either side of the chair. For every hoop you score you’ll earn three points for your team. For every hoop you overshoot, your teammate will be dunked and you’ll lose a point. Tactical dumping of your opponent is permitted.”

They took it in turns to dunk their opponents and score points for themselves. 

As they headed back to main camp not yet knowing who had won, it felt like it was a tight race, with Marvin and Nick believing that they had just nudged it.

The winner is announced

Both camps were eager to know the results and sat down as American sport-style scoreboard music started playing.

They were on the edge of their seats as the scoreboard went up with points, until it was revealed that the Home team had won, scoring 41 points to the Away team’s 36.

This put Frankie’s Home team in the lead towards winning the much-wanted breakfast.  

The Home team celebrated their victory, until their food arrived which was flat head fish.

They enjoyed their dinner in Frankie's bus as Jamie Lynn did a Thanksgiving prayer. Meanwhile, the Away team were left to feast on rice and beans once again. 

In the morning, Ant and Dec went to each camp to inform them who would be taking on the next Trial, Touchdown of Terror.

Nell from the Home team had been nominated to do the Trial, while Frankie had to choose another campmate to go with her.

Frankie opted for Sam to join Nella in the Trial, while Ant and Dec went to Snake Rock to tell them Grace had been voted to do Touchdown of Terror.

This meant that Home team's Nella and Sam would go against Away team's Grace and Nigel in the Trial.

I’m A Celebrity 2023 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. 

After cutting ties with Fred Sirieix in I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 3, Nella Rose clashed with another campmate, Nigel Farage last night. Also, the celebrities had an unwelcome guest in camp, meanwhile jockey Frankie Dettori and boxer Tony Bellew were announced as the late arrivals.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 4 last night...

A rat joins camp

The celebrities were joined by a new "campmate" — a rat!

During the night, a rat had gnawed a hole through a bag that had been left out in camp.

Nick Pickard spotted that there was a hole in their rubbish bag in the morning and Nigel was annoyed that someone had left the food bag out overnight, calling it "bloody stupid."

Nigel in the Bush Telegraph said: “It all got a bit slack, it all got a bit slovenly, leading to an error which was a food bag being left out overnight, which clearly had been attacked by a vermin of some kind.”  

He added in camp: “That wasn’t very clever. Everything else was done apart from that. But it’s our own bloody fault… We just must not ever make that mistake about the rubbish again, that was really bad.”

As Fred Sirieix put down the error to everyone being knackered yesterday, they got onto the topic of Jamie Lynn Spears after she threatened to leave last night.

Nigel admitted of Jamie Lynn: “I thought she was going to go.” 

Fred said: “She’s definitely strong. What she’s done in her life is no mean feat. She left home when she was 16, she emancipated herself.”

Josie, fumbling the word, asked: “Is that what ‘e-masturbation’ is?”

Later on, Fred and Marvin Humes worked out together using rocks and started singing their own jungle song: “Jungle living, living in a jungle…”

As Marvin headed up to the shower where Josie Gibson was washing her clothes, she was in for another surprise as she marvelled at his six pack.

Josie in the Bush Telegraph said: “First it was Nigel Farage’s bum, now Marvin’s six pack… loads of surprises. Just don’t know what’s going to come next.”  

Nella considers quitting

Nella told Grace Dent that she doesn't follow through with things as she explained: “I’ve never, ever in my life started something and finished it. Ever. I always quit, or I always sign on short term or if I don’t like it I can leave… this is the one thing I said I’m going to try and stick it through but I can already see myself… if I get in my head too much…” 

Grace asked: “Do you bolt, you run the minute things start to pick up?”

Nella said: “When I was younger I was put in a lot of situations that I had no control over. I was sad and miserable. So now that I have the control over my happiness and the things I want to do I think I’m kind of, I’ve become obsessed with it: ‘Oh, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.’”

Nella in Bush Telegraph added: “Whenever I feel uncomfortable, whenever I feel sad I do tend to leave. I do tend to not carry things through if I feel uncomfortable. So the fact I’ve lasted in the jungle for this long is astonishing.” 

Nella told Grace: “I used to have so much discipline but that was when I was in a bad space. Lack of self discipline got me from a size 12 to a size 20. Literally my dad passed, I locked myself in the house for two months, I drank every single day and ate every single day and I gained it all and it was pandemic.” 

She then confessed that if Jamie had left yesterday, that she would have been right behind her, adding that: "I’m leaving. I just don’t want to be the first.” 

Jamie Lynn Spears hits the jackpot

Jamie Lynn took on the next Trial, Climb of Cruelty after being voted for by the public.

At the Trial clearing, host Ant asked: “Why do you think you were voted for by the British public?”

Jamie Lynn replied: “Because I maybe cry a lot… I don’t know. Maybe the UK’s giving me an opportunity to give back to my campmates because I do think I’ve been the one struggling a bit more here. So they’ve given me so much support I’d love to return the favour.”

The Trial required Jamie Lynn to climb from the bottom to the top of a huge rig, collecting stars as she went. Every time she collected a star, she would clip it to herself and had ten minutes to make her way up to the top. 

Of course, she had a few surprises along the way as the stars were placed in boxes filled with critters.

The contraption rose up and once in place, Jamie Lynn made short work of getting the first two stars. 

Reaching 100ft in the air for the final star, Jamie Lynn walked out onto a plank before jumping to catch the final 10th star.  

Jamie Lynn was over the moon when she returned to the ground with all ten stars and meals for camp.

After learning she finished it with time to spare, Jamie Lynn joked: “Can we have those minutes for something else?”

Jamie Lynn admitted her campmates won’t have expected her to get all 10 saying: “I think they were saying, ‘You’re going to do it’ but thinking, ‘No way, she’s been crying for five days straight, it ain’t happening’ so I’m really, really happy that I get to come back and bring them the joyous 10 stars.” 

She added: “I might cry a lot but I can come and do this.” 

On her way back to camp after the Trial, Jamie Lynn pulled a prank on her fellow campmates by pretending to cry, before excitedly announcing that she got 10 stars.

Nigel reveals if he would run for Prime Minister

In camp, Sam Thompson asked Nigel: “Who is your favourite Prime Minister ever in your lifetime?”

Nigel said: “Really, in my lifetime, two Prime Ministers who’ve been really strong, who’ve changed the country: one’s Thatcher and one’s Blair. I didn’t like the way Blair changed the country at all but I have to admit he was a strong leader. Margaret was a very strong leader. They were tough times, but she changed the country completely.” 

Danielle Harold questioned Nigel: “Would you ever want to run?”

Nigel replied: “I don’t know. We’ll see. Depends how much of a mess the country gets in. I honestly don’t know. It’s not an easy job.” 

Telly talk 

At the creek, Josie asked Fred who his favourite co-star is out of Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo.

Fred laughed: “Let me tell you… Gordon is always right and Gino is never wrong. And I’m stuck in the middle. It’s the maddest trio ever.”

Josie joked in the Bush Telegraph: “He didn’t give a straight answer, I suppose it would be like me picking my favourite co-host at work… Alison…” 

Fred asked Josie: “When you were on Big Brother, did you think it was going to lead to what you’re doing now?”

Josie replied: “Never in a million years, no. I wrote a bucket list when I was with my aunty and on that bucket list it said ‘be on tv’. I auditioned for Big Brother, ended up winning it. When I came out I tried and I tried and I tried and I tried for three years. I remember all the people I’d reached out to and it was like 72 people over three years. One day, This Morning gave me a job. They give me one day for a couple of minutes, then they give me another day for a couple more minutes, then they give me a day for a couple more minutes… and then they would give me more and more and more and challenge me and challenge me and challenge me and then one day I got the call, I was on my way to a competition in work and I got the call to host This Morning. Everybody was ill… I honestly thought they were joking.”

Josie confessed that she didn't have time to feel nervous, adding: “I didn’t really have time to be. I had 15 mins to get ready. I went straight in, had 15 mins in make-up and then straight to the studio floor. So I didn’t have time to be nervous.” 

Nella confronts Nigel

Nella spoke about Nigel to Danielle by the bath and their conversation was interrupted when he walked in on the pair.

Getting straight to the facts, Nella confronted Nigel about his political campaign, saying: “Let’s get everything out in the open. All the tea is coming out now… apparently you’re anti-immigrants?” 

Nigel asked: “Who told you that?”

Nella said: “The internet.” 

Nigel replied: “Oh, well there we are then it must be true.” 

Nella asked: “It must be! OK, but then why don’t Black people like you?” 

Nigel responded: “You’d be amazed, they do.”

He then told a shocked Nella: “If you came with me through South London, you’d be astonished.”

Nella asked: “So everyone hates you for no reason? Not that everyone hates you, that was so bad. Sorry.” 

Nigel: “You can disagree with somebody, but to chuck around accusations the way they’ve been chucked around is grossly unfair. Anti-immigrant, right? No, no, all I’ve said is we cannot go on with the numbers coming to Britain that are coming.”

The pair ended up getting into a heated debate as Nella said: “I’m one of the numbers?”

Nigel told her that she didn't seem to understand, before Nella said: “Those immigrants that are coming in, I came in.”

"What is so wrong about immigrants?” she questioned.

Nigel said: “Listen. Since 2000, the British population has increased by 10 million. 10 million.” 

Nella said: “Good thing, right?”

Nigel replied: “Good thing, unless you want a GP appointment…” 

Nella asked: “I’m stopping you getting a GP appointment? You’re not getting an appointment because the NHS is lacking funding. I bet you anything if every single immigrant or from immigrant descent was to leave the UK, all your doctors, go… most of your doctors are Asian right? Most of your nurses are African women, right You want us gone, that’s all I understood.”

Nigel was starting to get irritated as he insisted that she wasn't listening and they eventually came to the conclusion that they would agree to disagree.

In the Bush Telegraph Nigel said: “What was interesting was at the end of it she said, ‘Well, OK, we’re going to agree to disagree.’ And that’s the important thing, agreeing to disagree."

Nella said to Nigel: “My main point was that we’ve got into this jungle and I really like you and I want to know why everyone hated you. We don’t have to come to a common ground. You probably like a lot of things that I don’t like. And I probably like a lot of things that you don’t like…we can have these conversations.” 

That night, the campmates were treated to four silkie birds for dinner and Nigel got stuck in to cut them up due to his experience in hunting game.

Two late arrivals are announced

After a palaver with the washing up, the next morning Ant and Dec revealed that all ten of the campmates would be taking part in the Trial "Scarena."

But there was another surprise in store as it was confirmed that boxer Tony Bellew and jockey Frankie Dettori would be joining camp as late arrivals. 

The two will become camp coaches and lead their new campmates into battle in the "Scarena."

The campmates will be split into two teams of five and over the next three days, those teams will be going head to head in trials and challenges. These trials will take place in a special area known as the "Scarena" and each of the teams will have their own coach, "a titan from the world of sport."

Frankie and Tony were unveiled as the two coaches. But which team will reign supreme?

I’m A Celebrity 2023 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. 

I'm A Celebrity 2023 episode 3 saw a major divide in camp as Nella Rose broke off her friendship with Fred Sirieix and Jamie Lynn Spears threatened to quit as she became emotionally overwhelmed.

The campmates also competed to win luxury items and Nigel Farage opened up about his serious plane crash injuries.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 3 last night...

Nella Rose clashes with Fred Sirieix

In the morning, Fred tried to offer Nella rice, but she ignored his calls to her.

In the Bush Telegraph Nella explained: “Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad. I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad’s passed away.”

A flashback gave context to Nella's story, where Fred said to Nella that he was old enough to be her dad as he was 51 and she was 26.

As she continued to ignore him, Nella in the Bush Telegraph continued: “I didn’t say anything about it last night because I was kind of just annoyed about it. So I slept on it and I kind of thought about it and I was just like, this is not the kind of person I want to be around.” 

When Fred approached Nella, she ordered him to leave her alone and he asked her what he had done to upset her.

Nella explained he’d made a comment the day before, saying: “You know that my mum’s dead, and you know that my dad’s dead. You know that, right? I’ve come to find out that every time I wanna get creative around the fire, or I want to have something my way, my own food that I am entitled to, my way, you tend to get an attitude, right? 

“So yesterday, when I wanted to burn fat that you were going to throw away anyways, it’s not even something that we needed to survive in camp, you turned around to me, with an attitude and said, ‘You know I could be your dad, right?’ To me, I don’t care how you said it to me, it’s disrespectful and I don’t want to talk to you. I don’t want to be around you. I only allow people to disrespect me once. You hurt my feelings. I was very upset… you keep trying to speak to me when I don’t want to speak to you. I would rather stay away from you, I don’t want to eat your food, I don’t want to talk to you. We can just live, you live on that side, I live on this side.” 

Fred profusely apologised, but as he tried to make amends with her, Nella wasn't having any of it and cut ties with him.

She accepted his apology, but told him that in order for them to live in camp together, she wouldn't be eating any of the food he's cooking and to stay away from her.

Fred went on to ask: “You could have said straight away, ‘Excuse me Fred this is upsetting me.’” 

Nella said: “Can you not clock on the vibe?” 

Fred replied: “No, because you’ve been sleeping quite a lot so I thought you were tired. If I made a faux pas, unwillingly, unconsciously, I am very sorry. But this was all it was. That’s all it was. If you want to take it to the nth degree and not speak to me anymore, it’s your choice.” 

Nella went on to say: “You only get one chance to disrespect me. I accept your apology but let’s not be friends. How about that?”

Nella shouts 'I'm A Celebrity' in the trial

It was time for Nella to do the next Bushtucker Trial after being voted by the public.

A terrified Nella joined hosts Ant and Dec at the Trial clearing to hear what she would be facing in No Time to Cry.

Ant explained: “Nella, this is No Time To Cry — through the fence and hidden deep underground is an evil villain’s secret lair. You have to take on the role of secret agent and infiltrate that secret lair, collecting stars as you go. The stars are hidden behind protected glass. To get them, you’re going to need this super hi-tech magnetic secret agent watch…” 

Of course, this "super hi-tech magnetic secret agent watch" turned out to be a magnet glued to some velcro.

Once underground Nella faced a maze of lasers. She had to try to navigate them while trying to free the star with the magnetic watch. Breaking the lasers, she kept being forced to start back at the beginning. 

With three stars in her bag, a frantic Nella rushed past points in the Trial as Ant and Dec tried to encourage her back. She was then electrocuted as she attempted to get another star.

Nella panicked and chose to leave the Trial early shouting: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” 

Rejoining Ant and Dec with three out of 10 stars for camp, she said: “That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Confined spaces. The electric shocks. I was confined, underground, electrocuted, it was giving hell. I feel like I was in hell. They’re going to be so disappointed in me… I’m so disappointed in myself.” 

She later went back to camp to announce the news to her fellow campmates and was praised for her efforts in winning three stars.

Jamie Lynn Spears gets emotional

Ever since she arrived in camp, Jamie Lynn Spears has found it tough being away from her family. But luckily, Danielle Harold and Sam Thompson were on-hand to support her.

Jamie Lynn got upset and told Danielle and Sam: "I don’t know how I’m so emotionally weak.”

Danielle and Sam gave her a pep talk, telling her how strong she was as an overwhelmed Jamie Lynn confessed that she was missing her kids.

Jamie Lynn continued: “I’ve got to just do it. I don’t know why I’m being such a baby.” 

Sam chimed in by talking about two babies of his own — his cats.

He said: “I get it man, I’ve got two cats at home — Albus and Cedric — little fluffy men. Know what I mean? So I get it. Not kids, but I get it.” 

In the Bush Telegraph Jamie Lynn said: “You have your campmates pull you up and you’re like, ‘I can do this, I can do this.’” 

Later on, Sam and Jamie Lynn shared an embarrassing moment that happened to them, with Jamie Lynn explaining that her sister Britney Spears lost out on her first Grammy against Christina Aguilera when everyone thought she would win.

First dates

At the creek, Marvin Humes, Sam and Fred spoke about how they met their partners.

Sam explained that his girlfriend Zara McDermott "slid into his DMs" after he liked a couple of her photos and he asked her on a date.

Sam described their dinner date: “We got loads of sake, started singing in the restaurant. We were a little bit drunk and I asked her if I could kiss her.”

Of meeting his now wife, Rochelle, Marvin shared: “I met Rochelle when JLS and The Saturdays were doing shows together. I’d always said to the boys, ‘I really like her, I think she’s hot’. We went to a nightclub in Ireland after doing a show together one night and we were just chatting, getting on really well. She went to the toilet, right? She left her handbag at the table with me. So then, I thought, right, got her phone out and called myself so I had her phone number. It took about three months of pestering her to get a date. 

“[Our first date was] McDonald’s car park in Wembley… that was our first date. Here we are 13 and a bit years later, three kids… I’m very, very lucky.”

Fred went on to say that he never had a bad date and met his partner Fruitcake in Peckham. After he asked for her number, he asked her out for a drink and now they are getting married in Jamaica next year.

Sam offered to organise Fred's stag in Vegas and promised that he would have "the best time ever."

Nigel Farage describes his brutal plane crash injuries

Nigel Farage revealed to his campmates about his plane and car crash injuries.

Josie Gibson asked him what he was doing flying a plane at the time and Nigel admitted that he was flying a Brexit banner.

Nigel continued to explain his injuries: “I don’t recall being unconscious, but I do recall the explosion, the plane flipping over, being stuck in there, everything broken… every rib front and back, split sternum, punctured lung… it was bad.” 

He told Nick Pickard that he discharged himself from hospital because he got bored as Grace Dent laughed.

The pair then got into a discussion as Nigel said: “When bad things happen to you in life you’ve got to make a decision. Have I been unlucky, have I been lucky?” 

Grace asked: “Do you think that flavours how you live your life? That devil may care attitude?”

Nigel replied: “Yeah. That was one of the things. I’ve had a few things happen which I think does actually help with thinking, ‘Sod it I’m going to do what I believe.’”

Grace asked: “When you stand up in a room and make a speech that’s incredibly unpopular, do you think that flavour of it is you only live once?”

Nigel replied: “Definitely.” 

Grace questioned: “You don’t mind being unpopular?”

Nigel said: “It depends who you’re unpopular with.”

The campmates compete to win luxury items

During the night, the campmates found out there was a chance to win their luxury items. 

Danielle, Sam, Grace and Marvin had to take on the task and with Jamie Lynn in tears over her children, the pressure was on for the group to win her luxury item.

The four of them were tasked with standing behind bars. They had long paddles, which they had to use to hold up a box denoting each campmate’s luxury item. They had to hold it up long enough to stop it falling down a trapdoor. 

However, not only was it tricky to hold the boxes, they were also showered with critters. 

So as they battled to win Nigel’s camping chair, Grace’s lipstick, Marvin’s body lotion, Jamie Lynn’s pictures of her kids, Josie’s silk printed pillow with her son’s face on it and more. They ended up winning four of the campmate’s items. 

In the end they won Josie her pillow, Danielle won her pineapple shaped lilo, Nick won his cushion and Nella got her lip gloss. 

Back in camp the campmates were shocked to hear the critter showers they’d faced during the challenge and rallied after losing out on the majority of the luxury items. 

Jamie Lynn threatens to leave camp

Jamie Lynn was outraged at what the campmates went through to get the luxury items and voiced her anger in the Bush Telegraph: "I wanted to say, like, I don't get it. Why would y'all put them through that? They feel guilty, like they didn't come back with the gifts for their friends."

She sobbed as she continued: "This is not okay. I want to go home."

Jamie Lynn went back to camp and announced she was leaving the jungle and was desperate to see her babies.

The campmates rallied around to comfort an emotional Jamie Lynn and encouraged her to stay.

Meanwhile, the camp got two crocodile feet for dinner and Ant and Dec announced that the public had voted Jamie Lynn to do the next Trial, Climb of Cruelty.

I'm A Celebrity 2023 returned to our screens on Sunday and episode 2 brought political drama, emotional heart-to-heart's and a naked surprise.

After This Morning host Josie Gibson teased GB News host and ex-politician Nigel Farage over Brexit within minutes of meeting him in episode 1, she was in for a big shock when he wished her a good mooning on their first day together in the jungle.

Here's what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 2 last night...

Josie's cheeky encounter

The campmates woke up from a rough night's sleep during their first night in camp after hearing "crazy" sounds in the jungle.

After Nigel did a work out with logs, Josie got the shock of her life when she walked past the jungle shower and saw Nigel's naked bottom!

Not knowing where to look, she rushed off and told the Bush Telegraph: “Freaking hell! I wasn’t expecting to see Nigel Farage’s bottom so soon! But, I’ve seen worse. No, I haven’t. I haven’t! Fair play to him. He’s not shy, he just gets on in there. At least he’s clean.” 

Jamie Lynn Spears opens up to Fred Sirieix

As Jamie Lynn Spears relaxed in a hammock, she had an emotional heart-to-heart with Fred Sirieix about her upbringing.

Fred questioned her about why she and her sister Britney Spears became superstars and things got tearful when Jamie Lynn spoke about her teen pregnancy.

She revealed that she faced harsh criticism for getting pregnant at 16 because she was on a kids show and was forced to move to Mississippi to hide from the paparazzi.

Jamie Lynn said: “I moved to Mississippi and literally hid. Put a gate around me. I had 20 paparazzi on me every day. They wouldn’t leave me alone. They came and lived in Mississippi, middle of nowhere. It was horrible. I hated it so much. I just wanted to be normal. I wanted my baby to be normal. Everybody told me I was going to be a horrible mum. So I was like I’ve got to raise this baby by myself and I did.” 

Fred comforted her as she broke down and told him that a lot of people didn't want her to have the baby.

She continued to open up about her life, telling Fred: "When I got out of that, I told my parents I was going to emancipate them, that way I could make my own decisions. I was secretly telling her I was going to doctor's appointments. I was going to meetings with a lawyer… My poor mum, we put her through it. And so then she was like, she didn’t want me to do that, she knew that would mean I’d probably marry the father and lose my fortune that I’d amassed over the years of working… she said, ‘Just go baby…’. It was the first time I was in control. My mum did [come and visit]. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, why I wouldn’t take the easy route sometimes, but I just don’t want to.” 

Fred and Nigel butt heads

Around camp, Josie asked Nigel what Boris Johnson was like and Danielle Harold joined in on the conversation.

Nigel replied: “Entertaining… in small doses. [He’s] surprisingly introverted. You see this big act, fluffing the hair… surprising.” 

He continued: “I think he’s one of the most disorganised human beings that possibly ever lived. The whole thing’s bloody chaos. Shambles.” 

However, things soon got heated between Fred and Nigel when Fred questioned him about Brexit.

As the pair debated, Nigel said in the Bush Telegraph: “I knew it wouldn’t take long, I knew politics would rear its head as indeed it did. And Fred feels very strongly about it.” 

Grace Dent and Nick Pickard moved away to wash up as Grace later told the Bush Telegraph that she "would 100% rather wash up than listen to another single word about Brexit."

Later on, the storm calmed between the pair as Fred said that nothing would change because they each believe what they believe.

The Jungle Pizzeria

After being voted by the public, Nella and Nigel faced the second Bushtucker Trial, Jungle Pizzeria. 

Ant and Dec informed them that the pair must take it in turns to eat a slice of pizza with some disgusting toppings, including a ‘Pepper Groaney’, a ‘Veggie Scarian’ and an ‘Quattro For-gag-io’. 

As the pair made their way through dishes which featured giant mealworms, camel udder, anus, witchetty grub and more, Nella refused to try a new addition to the jungle for 2023 — surstromming (salted and fermented sea herring). 

Nigel's final dish had four penises on it and the pair managed to earn nine out of the 10 stars for camp towards dinner that night.

The campmates comfort Jamie Lynn

Jamie Lynn confessed to being homesick as she broke down in tears and hugged Danielle by the creak.

Danielle recruited the help of the other campmates to run Jamie Lynn a bath and the campmates proceeded to serenade her as Marvin Humes sang "Let Me Love You".

Meanwhile, Danielle kept the water going and Fred provided percussion on a bucket. 

Jamie Lynn said in the Bush Telegraph: “It was so nice, they were literally serenading me and bathing me. It was so funny, it was wonderful. I don’t think my husband’s ever done anything like that for me. It was so nice.” 

Sam Thompson dances with Marvin Humes

Sam Thompson asked Marvin Humes about JLS’s route to fame and it wasn't long before Marvin was teaching him some iconic JLS dance moves.

Later on, the campmates were given buffalo tail for dinner, which required Fred to cook it for a long time.

After the starving camp ate some vegetables while waiting for the meat to cook, the girls ended up falling asleep before dinner was ready.

The next morning, Ant and Dec revealed that the public had voted for Nella to take on the next Bushtucker Trial, No Time to Cry.

I'm A Celebrity 2023 kicked off last night (Sunday, November 19) as ten celebrities made their jungle debut in an entrance show like no other.

And This Morning host Josie Gibson couldn't help but mock GB News host and ex-politician Nigel Farage over Brexit within minutes of meeting him in the Australian outback.

Actress & singer Jamie Lynn Spears, TV personality and Radio DJ Sam Thompson, This Morning host Josie Gibson, TV presenter Fred Sirieix, YouTuber Nella Rose, GB News host and ex-politician Nigel Farage, food critic Grace Dent, pop star and TV presenter Marvin Humes, EastEnders star Danielle Harold and Hollyoaks icon Nick Pickard were all thrown into the deep end as they competed to win stars for camp in grim challenges.

Here is what happened in I'm A Celebrity episode 1 last night...

Never-done-before challenge

In an I’m A Celebrity first, three unsuspecting celebrities were dropped into the scorching Australian Outback for a brand new set of challenges. 

Josie Gibson was the first celebrity abandoned in the heat, who was shortly joined by Nigel Farage and she immediately brought up Brexit as they greeted each other.

Josie admitted: “I thought this was a good idea until they dropped us off in the middle of nowhere. I’ve never been so petrified.” 

Nigel replied: “It’s something different in life, it’s an adventure! It’s a challenge, it’s not going to be easy, but why not?” 

Josie quipped: “It can’t be worse than Brexit!”  

Nigel laughed: “Oh… didn’t take long did it? Didn’t take long. I had a feeling we’d get a bit of that!” 

The pair were then met by Nella Rose before they noticed there was a button to call for assistance, which dialled through to hosts Ant and Dec. 

Ant and Dec explained that the trio had to take on challenges to win time for their campmates on the Gold Coast, who were competing in another task to win stars for camp. 

The more tokens they won, the more time their fellow contestants had to win food for camp.

Nigel opted to drive and the trio sped off in a jeep to their first challenge.

Hell Holes

In the sprawling outback, Josie, Nigel and Nella found their first challenge, which required two people to put their heads in "hell holes" and one person to dunk their head into barrels filled with gunk to find tokens. 

Josie opted to do the barrels, meanwhile Nigel and Nella pushed their heads inside the "hell holes" and used their tongues to move tokens along a metal wire. 

However, when Nella put her head in and discovered that there was a snake inside, she couldn't stop screaming.

Despite her best efforts, Nella couldn’t get any of the tokens off of the metal wire, but Nigel and Josie managed to get all three of theirs, earning six tokens for the campmates taking on Pole Position on the Gold Coast.

Pole Position

Meanwhile on the Gold Coast, celebrities Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, Grace Dent and Fred Sirieix were flown by helicopter to the top of a building 100m off of the ground. 

Hosts Ant and Dec flew in to greet them and the group were daunted by the huge apparatus hanging over the edge of the building.

The duo explained that three other campmates had been facing challenges in the Australian Outback to win them time in this challenge.

Danielle, Fred, Sam and Grace learned their campmates had earned them six minutes, three minutes per pair, to complete their Pole Position challenge. 

Ant went on to explain the jaw-dropping heights challenge: “In pairs, you’ve got to make your way over the edge of the building, down the ladders, along the narrow ledge, until you come to your pole. In order to win stars, you’ve got to lie face down on the pole and shimmy yourself and your star all the way to the end of the pole. When the star is in the yellow zone, you’ve won that star.”

Four stars were up for grabs, which counted towards that night’s meal for camp.

Fred and Danielle were the first pair to take on the challenge, with Fred the first one to get his star into the yellow zone.

In a nail-biting finale, Danielle completed the challenge with just two seconds to spare, earning them two stars. 

Grace and Sam were next as the wind picked up and the pair both managed to win their stars, bagging a full house.

Terrifying skydive

After meeting for the first time, Marvin Humes, Jamie Lynn Spears and Nick Pickard learned that they would have to skydive before heading off to do the very first Bushtucker Trial of the series. 

Earlier on, Marvin admitted that he was terrified of heights and backed out of a skydive that he and his JLS bandmates were going to do.

Jamie Lynn was the first to jump, followed by Nick and then Marvin.

But despite their nerves, there was jubilation once they had reunited with each other on the ground and they made their way to the Trial.

The Outback stars take on another challenge

While Marvin, Nick and Jamie Lynn made their way to the Trial, Nigel, Nella and Josie faced another challenge to earn them time. 

After following the map to another burnt-out truck, two of them had to sit in thick gunk in the bed of the truck while searching for tokens tied up on bits of rope.

Meanwhile, the remaining person had to search for tokens hidden under the bonnet and in the glove box, which had snakes in too.

Nella opted to go for the gunk in the back with Nigel and she managed to find all three tokens.

Both Nigel and Josie earned two tokens, which earned their fellow campmates a total of seven minutes for The Temple of Doom.

The Temple of Doom

Nick, Marvin and Jamie Lynn met Ant and Dec for the debut Bushtucker Trial of the series. 

Ant revealed that the other celebrities had won them seven minutes out of a possible nine.

The challenge saw two of the celebrities strapped into perspex boxes either side of the Temple as they took it in turns to find jungle related words on rotating discs beside them.

When they had guessed the word, they would shout it out and if it was correct, a star would lower down onto the third celebrity who was strapped to a stone table in the centre.

To win the star, the third celebrity had to use only their mouth and drop it on the table beside them.

Marvin and Jamie Lynn chose to be in the boxes and of course, they weren't alone as green ants were dropped on top of them.

Meanwhile, Nick struggled to release the stars with his mouth while covered in spiders and other critters. 

However, the trio won the remaining six stars so had a 10/10 dinner to share with the camp.

The campmates met in camp

Fresh from their Trial and challenges, all of the campmates made their way into camp.

As everyone got to know each other, Fred made a jungle paella from the kangaroo hind they had won for dinner.

The next day, Ant and Dec announced that Nigel and Nella would be taking on the next Bushtucker Trial, the Jungle Pizzeria.

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here kicked off tonight on ITV and fans are already choosing their favourite contestant. 

I'm A Celebrity viewers got their first look at the new line-up of celebrities in the Australian outback competing to be the King and Queen of the jungle. 

If the reaction on social media is anything to go by, there's already a firm favourite with fans. 

'First time ever watching #ImACelebrity just because of Nella Rose. This show is wild but Nella you've got this!' wrote one fan on Twitter.

While another wrote, 'I think Nella is gonna be hilarious love her already.'

While another said, 'Josie Gibson and Nella Rose are the winning duo. If the pair of them aren’t in the final, I’m revolting.'

Other fans commented on the dynamic between fellow I'm A Celeb contestant Nigel Farage and Nella, with another fan writing, 'Nigel and Nella could be a deadly combo ‘Nigella’.'

And another wrote, 'NELLA AND NIGEL TOGETHER!? Hahahah that’s CARNAGE waiting to happen.'

While another commented that Nella is their 'winner' already, writing, 'Nella giving winner material already she’s hilarious !!!'

But not everyone was a huge fan, with another writing, 'Can already hear Nella’s unbearable screaming during the next trial.'

While another said, 'Nella Rose is annoying me already...all that screaming is unnecessary.'

But the positive response looks to be far stronger, with others commenting on how 'brilliant' Nella has been already on the show. 'My family and I haven’t stopped laughing at Nella! She’s brilliant,' wrote another Nella fan on X.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is back on screens with a whole new line-up of celebrity contestants eager to become the King or Queen of the jungle. 

I'm A Celebrity kicked off tonight on ITV, with a few controversial celebrities in the mix. Among those taking part in the Bushtucker trials are BNP leader Nigel Farage and Britney Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. 

According to reports from The Mirror, Jamie Lynn refused to take part in interviews after facing backlash for her appearance on the show, in part due to her turbulent relationship with much-loved pop star Britney Spears. 

A source told the publication, "It is disappointing Jamie Lynn wouldn’t speak to journalists out in Australia. 

"She kept her head down at Brisbane airport which is fair enough after a long flight, but it is highly unusual to not take part in the media chats whilst waiting to go into camp this week."

They continued to explain how this is far from the usual procedure for contestants. The source continued: "In fact, it is almost unprecedented and even Boy George took part last year when he has rarely done interviews for a decade.

“The last contestant we can remember to refuse to do the pre-show interviews was David Gest, and that was back in 2006.

I'm a Celeb may not have taken off in the US, but it's still huge in the UK. Working on the show is an all-year-round project?

"We are talking and meeting all year round but we don’t start full time until April. So it's seven months."

A typical working day in Oz involves...

"I get in around 6.15am just before rehearsals for the live show. After the show finishes at 8am, the whole team meets and we chat through the day ahead before the night shift goes home to bed! 

"We film the trial at 10am, the challenge 2pm and the dinner drop at 7pm. I try to leave by 8pm. A large part of the day is writing game instructions for the celebrities, checking in on the camp and the edits, testing the upcoming trials and planning the rest of the run. There's a huge team of game producers so there are always questions!"

My favourite moment from last year's show is...

"Seeing Seann Walsh meet Matt Hancock for the first time before they entered camp as late entries was hilarious. I also loved Babatunde taking a leap of faith off the top of a massive Trial circular build plunging several metres after he had refused to walk the plank a few days before. This show is all about pushing yourself and being out of your comfort zone and Babtunde did that, he was a star."

"Thinking about Harry Redknapp makes me smile, especially when he became Noel Edmond’s assistant and they lived together in a small Emperor’s house in camp."

To celebrate I'm a Celebrity 2023, there are four new costumes all themed around Australia. And with it, there are four hidden celebrities ready to show off their vocal prowess and hope to impress the panel.

But which costumes will be on display this time? Here's some information and a quick look at each one...

Wombat

Wombats are native to Australia and the perfect cuddly critter to take to the stage in the upcoming special.

We don't have many clues so far, only: "Like a WOM-BAT out of hell they’ll be gone when the morning comes."

Huntsman

Huntsman spiders are one of the creepiest animals in Australia, so this costume is set to be the scariest creature on the stage. But does the hidden celebrity have anything to do with these notorious arachnids?

The only clue we have so far is"I SPI-DER our next character it’s HUNTSMAN". So not much to go off...

Bearded Dragon

Another Aussie native is the bearded dragon who will be joining the Huntsman Spider and the Wombat on the Masked Singer stage, so we've got quite the eclectic mix of wildlife!

Again, no major clues just yet, only: "Ready for a night on the REP-TILES it’s BEARDED DRAGON!"

Dunny

It's not Masked Singer without some more "silly" costumes. In the past we've had Sausage and Rubbish, now we've got some Australian slang in the form of Dunny, which is a toilet! In this case, Dunny is an outhouse, in keeping with the wilderness theme of the jungle.

Dunny's only clue is: "It's all cisterns go it's DUNNY."

The Masked Singer: I'm a Celebrity special hosts

Once again, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan are on hosting duties with former jungle campmate and regular host, Joel Dommett, also returning.

Is there a trailer?

No, we don't have a trailer for the special just yet, but we will add it to this guide as soon as one is released. 

For the past decade, Fred Sirieix has been winning hearts as the charming frontman of Channel 4's First Dates - and now he is taking part in I'm A Celebrity 2023. 

The Frenchman's resume is nothing short of impressive - he's worked as maître d'hôtel in some of London's most prestigious restaurants and carved out a successful career as a TV personality. 

Fred is rarely off our screens. He's presented BBC2's Million Pound Menu and Remarkable Places to Eat, the reality series Ultimate Wedding Planner and joined forces with renowned chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gino D'Acampo for the popular ITV series Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.

In 2015 he released the music track 'La Vie Continue' with Mark King from the band Level 42 and XO Man, and he also penned his own book titled First Dates: The Art of Love.

But what else is there to know about Fred? Let us fill you in...

Fred Sirieix's parents inspired his love of good food

Fred Sirieix was born on 27 January 1975 and raised in Limoges, a city in southwest-central France.

Fred is one of two boys, and his parents both worked as nurses in the local hospital, which prompted his own desire to enter the service industry.

His mum and dad were also passionate about good eating, as Fred explained in an interview with The Guardian: 

"I was born into food. My dad used to say: “We don’t have much money and we don’t have fancy cars, but we always have good food in the fridge and on the table." Every day we had a three-course meal: starter, main, and dessert and cheese before dessert. Every single day."

Fred says his all-time favourite meal is his mum's rabbit with mustard sauce.

He originally wanted to be a chef

After leaving school Fred went to study at catering college. He had aspirations of becoming a chef, but then fell in love with the idea of being front-of-house. 

From there, Fred never looked back. He completed his training at a Michelin-starred restaurant in France, then at 19, he relocated to the UK and took on the role of head waiter at Pierre Koffmann's three-Michelin-starred restaurant La Tante Claire. 

That's not the only fine dining establishment Fred has worked at - he's also been on the payroll at Le Gavroche, Sartoria and Brasserie Roux - and he held the position of general manager of Galvin at Windows in the London Hilton hotel on Park Lane for 14 years until 2019.

So what's the secret behind his success?

"My skill is making people happy," Fred told The Times. "I will ensure you have a good time."

Training for Strictly Come Dancing made him sick!

Fred has worked for some of the most formidable bosses in the food industry, but it was being a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing 2021 Christmas Special that really pushed him to the limits.

He was partnered up with pro dancer Dianne Buswell and even though the pair got on like a dream, that didn't help keep Fred's nerves at bay. 

He recalled the terrifying experience to The Express: 

“And as soon as they (Strictly) called me I was so scared. The first sensation, the feeling I had was, ‘My god I’m scared’. It was the fear of the spotlight, being able to do it, being able to perform and not making a fool of myself…"

Fred even admitted he came home and vomited after his first three-hour training session with Diane!

However, his hard work paid off and Fred and Diane finished a very respectable third place in the competition.

His charity teaches prison inmates how to cook

Fred is heavily involved in charity work and is committed to helping those in need.

He has been behind the creation of National Waiters Day, which celebrates the work of front-of-house staff and Galvin's Chance, which supports underprivileged young front-of-house staff in London and Scotland.

Then in 2017, Fred launched The Right Course, a charity that has remodelled staff restaurants in prisons to teach inmates cooking skills and other aspects of the service industry.

In May 2023, The Right Course opened its newest training restaurant in HMP Lincoln, following the success of its eateries in HMP Wormwood Scrubs and HMP Isis.

His daughter is a Commonwealth Games gold medallist

Fred shares two teenage children with his former partner Alessandra Spendolini - 19-year-old daughter Andrea, and son Lucien, who is 14.

Andrea is a professional diver and made history in July when she and Lois Toulson won Great Britain's first ever World Championship diving medal - taking silver in the 10 metres synchro in Fukuoka, Japan. The pair are also European champions.

Proud dad Fred was sat in the crowd and cried tears of joy when Andrea - who he affectionately calls 'Mon Caneton', translation: my ducking - scooped the individual gold at last summer's Commonwealth Games.

His fiancée has an unusual nickname

As Maître d' of the First Dates restaurant, Fred has helped countless singletons try to find that special someone. And his own love life is looking rosy.

The star is blissfully happy with his glamorous fiancée, who he refers to as 'Fruitcake'. The couple went public with their relationship in 2018 and Fred popped the question two years later during lockdown - but had to wait until the shops re-opened to buy her a ring!

Fruitcake is no stranger to the TV cameras, having appeared alongside her famous beau in Celebrity Gogglebox, but neither she or Fred have chosen to reveal her real name or occupation.

In a chat with The Sun, Fred gushed about his other half, saying: "She's a fun girl and she makes me laugh. We just enjoy each other's company, we enjoy walking and all sorts of stuff, like everybody else, it's easy - very simple and very straightforward."

He has a palm tree called Brenda!

When he's not working green-fingered Fred loves spending time in the garden of his southeast London home.

Every morning, the star likes to wander round his little outside oasis and has admitted he likes to think of all his plants as if they're his animals.

And if Fred had to pick a favourite plant, then it would be 'Brenda'!

"I have a palm tree in the front garden I thought was going to die. My son named her Brenda. She has survived!" Fred told The Times.

"I’m very proud of that tree. We talk to Brenda every day, it’s mad. We say, “You’re looking good”, we look at the leaves, we touch her, and see how she is progressing."

She also reveals she's a bit worried by the prospect of spiders… "I am not sure, however, how I will be with spiders or heights yet. I am ok when I go on an aeroplane but I have never walked out on anything with nothing underneath before! This is completely out of my comfort zone."

Josephine Diane Shirley Gibson was born on 24 January 1985 to mum Mandy and was raised in Bristol.

She's also fiercely proud of her Bristolian roots and loves being one of only a few on-screen stars with a noticeable south-west accent.

During the past five years, Josie's interviewed many of the world's biggest stars, but her favorites to date have been Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

“They were so up for a laugh. I always thought they would be girls’ girls, but I didn’t realize how much girls’ girls they would be – they really were just lovely,” she shared.

She's a single mum 

The love of Josie's life is her five-year-old son, Reggie-James, who she shares with former partner Terry.

The couple parted ways when Reggie was just three months old, but have remained friends and co-parent their little boy together.

"Terry has him two to three nights a week and then I’ll have him on the others," Josie revealed in a recent chat with OK!. "I would never have been able to do what I’ve done if it wasn’t for Terry."

Josie is rumoured to be dating again, but has said there's only one person she wants to share her bed with, and that's Reggie.

"I want him in there forever - he will be until he’s 18!" she joked.

She has a new man in her life

During a recent appearance on Shopping With Keith Lemon, Josie revealed she'd just embarked on a new romance.

"There is someone in my life at the moment, but it's early stages," she told the host. "It's that bit where you've got the flutters, can't-wait-to-see-them vibes - you get a little bit nervous".

Josie even admitted she had let slip those three special words to her mystery man: "I've said I love you, it's just best to get it out of the way, I don't like playing games."

Rumour has it the lucky guy is celebrity hairdresser Maurice Flynn after Josie posted a cosy picture of them enjoying what appeared to be a romantic dinner date at swanky London restaurant LAVO.

Nick Pickard is a legend of soapland and has played the role of Hollyoaks’ Tony Hutchinson since it first hit our screens back in 1995 - and now he is taking part in I'm A Celebrity 2023.

He’s the show's only remaining original cast member and has starred in more than 1500 episodes over 28 years - it’s no wonder he’s been dubbed the ‘The Ken Barlow of Hollyoaks’!

Nick may have grown up in front of the nation, but when those TV cameras stop rolling he likes to keep things low profile.

So, what is there to know about the popular actor? Let us fill you in…

Nick Pickard was a child star

Nicholas Pickard was born on 27 May 1975 and raised in Surrey.

From a young age, Nick had stars in his eyes - he was a pupil at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School, whose former alumni include Spice Girl Emma Bunton and McFly singer, Tom Fletcher.

He was also enrolled at the Corona Theatre School and worked extensively in the theatre before moving to the small screen.

Nick's acting debut was playing the lead role in the 1987 movie Mio in the Land of Faraway, opposite none other than future Hollywood star Christian Bale. 

He also featured in a couple of music videos - 'Over My Shoulder' for Mike + The Mechanics and 'Almost Unreal' for Roxette. 

And fun fact - before landing his part in Hollyoaks, Nick had a minor role in EastEnders, playing a homeless lad.

He has a famous brother

Nick isn't the only member of his family in the business.

His lookalike sibling, John, who's two years younger than him, was also a pupil at Sylvia Young and shot to fame in the 90's BBC smash hit series 2.4 Children.

In 2005, a decade after Nick started on Hollyoaks, the pair ended up playing on-screen siblings when John was cast in the role of Dominic Reilly, Tony's estranged half-brother.

The Pickards worked together for five years before John was axed from the Chester-based soap in 2010.

He almost missed out on his role in Hollyoaks

It's hard to imagine Hollyoaks without Nick in it, but the actor has admitted the character of Tony nearly went to someone else. 

In an interview with Radio Times the actor revealed: "I didn't expect to get the role because so many people went up for it. I nearly never went to one of the last recalls as I was opening a pub in London at the time, and I had a plasterer booked in on the same day." 

However, Nick has someone rather special to thank for giving him the push that ended up changing his life.

"My mum convinced me to go," he shared. "And I'm obviously glad I did!"

He once dated his co-star

Despite having been in the public eye for over 25 years, very little is known about Nick’s love life.

Between 2001-2002, Nick dated his Hollyoaks' co-star Joanna Taylor, who played student Geri Hudson. 

The pair met on the set of the soap and enjoyed a year-long romance before they called it quits and Joanna left Hollyoaks to star in BBC police drama Merseybeat.

Nick is now in a relationship with a lady called Sara, who isn't in the public eye, and the smitten actor often shares snaps of his girlfriend on his Instagram account. Aww.

He's a proud father

Not everyone may know this, but Nick is a father! The actor has a 25-year-old daughter called Ellie from a previous relationship.

Ellie, is clearly the apple of her dad's eye and proud Nick did a social media shout out to her on her 18th birthday. 

Speak back in 2009, when Ellie was just starting secondary school, Nick told OK!: "She’s a bit funny with Hollyoaks. When she was younger she watched it avidly, and she didn’t used to get it. Now she’s going to ‘big’ school and I think she’s more impressed with her mates being impressed, rather than me being in it."

"Then again, sometimes if I’m walking down the street with her, someone might be shouting ‘Tony!’ and I’m ignoring it, and she’ll go: ‘Daddy, someone’s recognised you!’

He's a huge football fan

Nick is passionate about football and is a lifelong Chelsea supporter.

The actor regularly represents Hollyoaks in charity football tournaments and tries to raise awareness of these good causes via his social media channels.

Most recently, the Hollyoaks boys took on Wrexham Police FC, which is made up of members from North Wales Police, who play off-duty.

Nick's team included the likes of Jamie Lomas (Warren Fox) and Owen Warner (Romeo Nightingale).

All money raised went to the Blue Light Card Foundation, which funds projects to support the mental wellbeing of blue light staff including the police, ambulance services, hospital staff, and the armed services.

He's in the hospitality industry

Nick isn't just an actor - he's also a savvy businessman.

As well as running a string of restaurants in Sheffield, Nick also co-owns a pub in London with his brother, John.

The bar, called The Chilled Eskimo, is based in North Kensington, and Nick once said: "It's good to have something to fall back on in this business."

His co-stars call him 'Grandad'

Being the longest-serving Hollyoaks cast member, Nick has seen hundreds of actors come and go over the last 28 years.

However, the modest star insists the younger actors in the show don't come to him for advice - in fact they've sometimes called him 'Grandad'!

With age comes wisdom though, and Nick is realistic enough to know the grass isn't always greener, which is why he has no desire to quit the job he's held for almost three decades.

"If they get rid of you that's one thing, but if you leave and look back and ask 'Why did I do that when I was so happy there?' you'd kick yourself," he explained to Radio Times.

"I have so many pals who are great actors but aren't working. I'm privileged to be working and doing what I love. The people are great, I've always been happy and still go to work with a smile on my face."

I'm a Celebrity 2023 has confirmed that it will return this month, and fans only have to wait a few more weeks before they're taken Down Under again.

The exciting news was teased during an ITV advert break on Monday, November 6, where fans got to see the usual advert for I’m a Celebrity, but there was a pleasant surprise for eagle-eyed viewers.

This time a card at the end showed that the start date was confirmed as Sunday, November 19, meaning the launch episode is right around the corner.

For those who have not yet seen the trailer for the reality series, it has been shared across social media as well as being televised, with a caption that reads: "The full celebrity treatment... like no other."

The 30-second teaser clip sees a parody of a luxurious hotel featuring a nice bath and some gourmet meals, but they're filled with bugs, eyes, and other unpleasant things, as regular hosts Ant and Dec turn to the camera and smile. So it's definitely looking like it'll be as gross as fans have come to expect!

So far, we know that we're back in the Australian camp and that the long-time hosts are back, but we don't know who will be checking into this house of horrors when the series returns.

Since we now have the release date, we should be expecting to get confirmed names dropping soon, with one of them soon to be joining the coveted I'm a Celebrity winners list. As we know, there can only be one King or Queen of the Jungle!

There are plenty of rumours about who might be joining the jungle this year, including JLS' Marvin Humes, Hollyoaks legend Nick Pickard and Good Morning Britain's weather presenter Alex Beresford, but no one is officially confirmed to be attached to the new season... yet.

Last year, professional footballer Jill Scott won the tough competition, and the South Africa special saw returning campmate Myleene Klass win the first-ever spin-off, but who will be crowned winner next time? We'll just have to wait patiently to find out...

I'm a Celebrity returns to ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday, November 19.

I'm a Celebrity 2023 fans are in for a treat because the first look trailer for the upcoming series has landed. 

And if that wasn't enough, the hilarious clip sees presenters Ant and Dec as you have never seen them before. 

The 60-second video, which will premiere on ITV1 this weekend, sees the iconic duo far away in a tropical jungle, working for a fancy retreat. 

Ant and Dec might be dressed as fancy hotel staff, however, as always with I'm a Celebrity, things aren't quite what they seem. 

Although it looks like the jungle retreat has beautiful sun loungers, towels modeled into swans and amazing food on the menu, if you look a little closer, everything has a grim twist. 

The food, although being served on fancy platters, is made up of the classic Bushtucker Trial delights like fish eyes and what looks suspiciously like a kangaroo penis, which can all be washed down with a cocktail of blended cockroaches.

As Ant and Dec get ready to welcome a new batch of celebrities who will, as the majestic voiceover on the trailer says, ‘surrender’ themselves to the ‘ultimate jungle experience’, the pair can also be seen delicately raking the sand on the idyllic beach, promising the new batch of campmates ‘the full celebrity treatment’ as they open the doors to the 5* (ish…) Jungle Retreat. 

With the wait for the new season almost over, it won't be long before we know which famous faces will be heading into the jungle. But who will we be adding to our I'm A Celebrity winners list? 

 I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns this autumn on ITV1 and ITVX

The Chase legend Mark "The Beast" Labbett made an outlandish confession on why he shouldn't be picked to go on I'm A Celebrity 2023.

The quiz star, commonly nicknamed "The Beast," has been a Chaser on the award-winning gameshow since 2009.

Although Mark has encountered many challenges throughout his various gameshow appearances, he is yet to take on a grisly Bushtucker Trial in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

However, we may not be seeing Mark make his jungle debut just yet as he made the bizarre confession that he would lose the plot from hunger and eat his campmates if he were to appear on the show!

He joked to the Daily Star: “I might be the campmate from hell. I get hangry, which is being angry because I’m hungry. And that is not good. I am a man who likes his food.

“I make no bones about it… my father was a butcher, so I know basic butchery. If somebody crosses me and it affects the food, I will have them up on a spit and roast them within five minutes.”

He added: “If my attitude isn’t going to work, they shouldn’t hire me. I don’t want them getting me on the show then afterwards saying, ‘We didn’t realise you were such a psychopath’.”

Despite this, Mark revealed that he had been interviewed to do the show twice before and would still do the series depending on how much they offered him.

He shared: “I’ve been interviewed about doing the show twice. Both times my weight has been brought up in a negative way. But I am a bit lighter now. We’ll have to see. Like everything, it depends on what the offer is.”

If he were to take part, he would be following in the footsteps of his fellow Chaser Anne "The Governess" Hegerty, who participated in I'm A Celebrity 2018 and came in seventh place.

Mrs Brown's Boys star and creator Brendan O'Carroll won't be appearing on any reality programmes any time soon, and that also goes for ITV's I'm A Celebrity!

With I'm A Celebrity 2023 expected to land at the end of the year, everyone is desperate to find out which brave stars will be taking on the dreaded Bushtucker Trials this time around.

But one celebrity we can certainly rule out is Brendan O'Carroll, who has recently revealed he has no interest in taking part in the series, citing his age as one of the key reasons for turning down offers.

He told the Daily Star:  "I get asked to do those shows all the time… f*** yeah. Jesus. But I say no to them all.

"You get some really weird ones. Sometimes people pitch me a reality show and they haven’t even got a broadcaster yet. They think getting me on board will help them get it commissioned. But I have to disappoint them."

He added: "With some of the offers, I’ve said, ‘Are you f***ing serious?’ I was asked to do a show for Irish TV where I’d get SAS-style training. You crawl through mud and stuff like that.

"I said, ‘You do know I’m f***ing 67? The last time I crawled through mud I was five years old. So f*** off!’"

Speaking about I'm A Celebrity, Brendan revealed his frank response and explained people have stopped asking him after his initial rejection.

He said: “I was once talking to a producer and he asked me if I’d thought about doing I’m A Celebrity and I said, ‘I would rather put a hot needle through the eye of my c**k than do that show’. So now they know not to ask!"

There are plenty of rumoured names when it comes to this year's I'm A Celebrity line-up, and we won't have to wait much longer to find out who has been confirmed.

This year, EastEnders legend Danny Dyer, former Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse and Dancing On Ice 2023 star The Vivienne are among those who might be entering the Australian jungle, but we'll have to be patient to find out for sure.

This Morning star Josie Gibson has reportedly signed up to do I'm A Celebrity 2023 after winning a rival bid from Strictly Come Dancing 2023.

According to The Sun, ITV and BBC were in a bidding war for TV's most wanted woman and Strictly Come Dancing could not match I'm A Celebrity's huge six-figure deal they offered the daytime favourite.

An ITV insider allegedly told the publication: “Josie is hugely popular with This Morning viewers and producers were determined to get her. 

"She is seen as the perfect person for the jungle as she’s already such a familiar face on ITV and will bring her fanbase with her.

“She’s incredibly down-to-earth and seems to strike a chord with people at home. Plus they’re confident Josie will bring the laughs to I’m A Celebrity, as she already does on This Morning, and is guaranteed to get on with most of the jungle campmates.

“For all those reasons they were hellbent on getting her. And if she was lured by the glitter of Strictly they weren’t going to let her go without a fight.

“Talks between Josie’s reps and bosses of the two shows had been going on for months and represented a real dilemma for the telly host.

“She knows both shows are hugely popular with the public and have the potential to boost anyone’s career who appears on them.”

Josie is no stranger to reality TV as she won Big Brother in 2010, before becoming a competition announcer on This Morning in 2019.

Now, she has become a firm fan-favourite hosting This Morning alongside presenter Holly Willoughby following Phillip Schofield's exit.

If the rumour is true, Josie could potentially be joining Coronation Street legend Alan Halsall in the Australian jungle after it was revealed that he was in talks to join the show.

I'm A Celebrity 2023 will air later this year.

Coronation Street legend Alan Halsall is reportedly in talks to take part in I'm A Celebrity 2023.

Alan has played much-loved mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the soap for 25 years, but it looks like he could be swapping the cobbles for the Australian jungle as he is rumoured to be part of this year's line-up.

According to The Sun, jungle bosses are thrilled Alan is in talks to join the show after years at the top of their wishlist.

A source supposedly told the publication: “Tyrone is one of Corrie’s most-loved characters so Alan comes with a ready-made fan base. Sometimes soap actors who are known for their iconic roles don’t quite translate once in camp, but Alan is a top lad with bags of personality so ITV are over the moon he’s in talks to join their 2023 cast.”

The source added: “I’m A Celeb viewers love a jungle shower surprise and Alan is hiding a killer bod under Tyrone’s oil-streaked mechanic overalls.”

If the rumors are true, Alan will be following in the footsteps of a number of Coronation Street legends who have also appeared on the show.

I'm A Celebrity 2021 saw Simon Gregson, best known as Weatherfield's Steve McDonald take part in the series and finish in second place. 

In I'm A Celebrity 2019, Andy Whyment, who plays fan-favourite Kirk Sutherland, also came second during his appearance on the show.

Earlier this year, Andy and his former Corrie co-star Helen Flanagan, who played the glamorous Rosie Webster, returned for the spin-off series I'm A Celebrity South Africa which saw former campmates come back to take on more challenges in a brand new camp.
