Moira Barton (played by Natalie J Robb) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie-Ann Jamieson) are back in the village after doing a runner to Belfast on Emmerdale (7:30pm - see our TV Guide for listings).

But while both his mum and girlfriend were on the run, Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) began to suspect that their departure had something to do with Amy's young son, Kyle...

Matty is upset that they kept the SHOCK SECRET from him.

But Amy's number one priority now is protecting Kyle from being identified as the person who really pulled the trigger of the shotgun which killed Al Chapman in the barn at Butler's Farm on that fateful day...

Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) is still struggling with life after losing his wife, Liv Flaherty, during the terrible storm in October.

Don't forget, Jimmy's three brothers, Matthew, Carl and Max plus his dad, Tom, all died in SHOCK circumstances after moving to Emmerdale Village.

Jimmy finds a way to cheer-up Vinny, with a game of poker in the pub.

The fellas are joined by Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), Ryan Stocks (James Moore), David Metclafe (Matthew Wolfenden) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).

But WHY does Mackenzie worry when a flash stranger, Darren (played by ex-Hollyoaks star Kyle Pryor) enters The Woolpack?

Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) is horrified at the discovery she is going through the menopause.

Up at Home Farm, Kim Tate (Claire King) has a meeting with Darren about her plans to run a Stud Farm.

But assistant, Gabby, is left feeling foolish after making an embarassing mistake at the meeting.

She's annoyed when Kim's stepdaughter, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), steps up and impresses Kim.

Gabby is not happy when Kim later suggests a job-share between her and Dawn!

On tonight's episode of the ITV soap, Moira visits Cain behind bars.

Meanwhile, Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) has been left devastated by Al's death.

The couple were engaged and planning a happy future together.

The National TV Award-nominated actress Natalie J Robb says it doesn't matter how tough her storylines are, there's always a laugh to be had on set

She may not have won best Serial Drama Performer at the NTAs (it went to Lacey Turner), but Natalie J Robb says she feels 'very blessed' to play Moira Barton in Emmerdale.

Natalie told What's on TV on the red carpet: "It's still fun. The crew are lovely, the cast are lovely, we do have a laugh. There's never a day that goes by that I haven't had a smile or a laugh. The [daughter] Holly death stuff granted I was crying for 10 hours a day, so that was tough, it takes it out of you. But then you always have a laugh and see the funny side because it isn't real."

Reflecting on Moira's 2016, she said: "It's one challenge to the next so... I feel very very blessed at the moment because I keep getting stronger and stronger storylines. I can't complain and to be an actor in work, I feel very lucky."

Emmerdale is lining up a juicy summer storyline involving a Cain, Charity and Moira love triangle.

Producer Kate Oates has teased the upcoming plot on the ITV soap’s Facebook page, saying that although Charity Tate (Emma Atkins) was in prison, her former relationship with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) would still cause problems for him and wife Moira (Natalie J Robb).

Kate said: “Since Charity went to prison, Moira has been the one looking after Noah (Charity’s son) at Butler’s with Cain. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to see Moira start to wonder what actually went on with Cain and Charity, especially those little chats that they had before Charity went to prison.

“I’m not going to say too much about that because it is more of a summer story, but just watch as Moira starts to grow a little bit more suspicious and see how Cain handles that.”

Charity is currently in prison for perverting the course of justice, giving actress Emma time off for maternity leave as she gave birth to a son in March.

Before Charity was locked up, she told Cain that she still had feelings for him and asked him to wait for her to be released.

Previously, Kate said: “The eagle-eared amongst you may remember that when Cain went to visit Charity in prison, she told him that maybe she had a little bit of a scam up her sleeve that might give her a reduced sentence.

“We’re going to be revealing what that is really soon, and it’s going to have a huge impact on Debbie (Charity’s daughter) and the rest of the Dingles.”

How’s Moira feeling on her wedding day?

“She absolutely adores Cain and there has never been any doubt in her mind that she wants to marry him. But she’s really nervous because James could ruin it.”

Ah, yes. James knows he’s Adam’s father. How did he find out?

“Through a secret DNA test. He steals one of Adam’s socks, although it was a very fresh looking sock, which didn’t look like one of Adam’s! Moira has no idea that he’s doing this and is shocked when he confronts her with the results. She always knew there was a chance, but she doesn’t want to believe it. She’s sad. She’s scared this will blow Adam’s world apart.”

No wonder she doesn’t want James at wedding! Why does she change her mind about that?

“Chas wants him to go with her and Moira knows that if she refuses, everyone will wonder why. He is her brother-in-law after all.”

What happens when James confronts Moira on her wedding day?

“Moira begs James not to ruin her day, pleading with him to keep quiet about Adam, but he threatens to tell people. She wants him to keep it quiet forever, she wants it to go to the grave. Then Moira gets stuck in her bedroom because the door jams. She’s in there, crying, while Cain’s waiting for her in his wedding suit.”

Does Moira make it to the ceremony?

“Yes. Cain goes looking for her, thinking she doesn’t want to marry him. He finds her at home and shouts this big speech through the bedroom door, really pouring his heart out. I think she lets him carry on talking because he doesn’t usually say things like that. Then Moira admits the door’s stuck and Cain kicks it down.”

And do they get married?

“At the moment when the vicar asks if there is any reason why Moira and Cain shouldn’t marry, the Bartons are all having a laugh and making a joke of it. James gives Moira a look and she thinks he is about to blurt out the truth… It’s very tense!”

Emmerdale star Natalie J Robb has spoken of her horror after a sex pest posted fake porn images featuring her own face to her home address.

Natalie, 39 - who plays Moira Barton in the ITV soap said she felt especially violated because the letter containing images of naked women with her head stuck on was opened by her 70-year-old mother.

David Watson, 74, had also sent similar explicit mock-ups to Coronation Street stars Jennie McAlpine and Kym Marsh.

“The most upsetting bit was that it came to my home. It was unnerving,” Natalie told the Sunday People.

“I was away at the time and my mum opened it and saw it.

“He had superimposed my head on to older, naked women.

“My mum asked: ‘You never did anything like that, did you?’

“I said, ‘Not only are her knockers much bigger, look at the size of her hands. She could have been a goalkeeper!’

“It was distressing for her. It’s not nice to see your daughter like that.”

Natalie, whose character is set to marry Emmerdale bad boy Cain Dingle next month, has had to tighten security at her home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

“I have a big dog called Bronson, a cross between a Rottweiler and a Japanese Akita, who’s very protective,” added Natalie.

“If anyone tried to get in I don’t think they’d get back out.”

Watson, of Daventry, North ants, was handed a 12-week suspended sentence in March after he admitted sending indecent images to Natalie, and the two Coronation Street stars.

He said he did it because he was bored and now the offences had strained his 54-year marriage.

His wife was too embarrassed to go to church.

Natalie said: “As well as feeling violated, it’s upsetting that he has a wife.

“It affects people around you and that’s a shame.”

Do you think Moira is just asking for trouble by asking Cain to marry her?

"No, it’s real love. They have a great chemistry and they have come together and made the relationship work regardless of what has happened in their past. Their marriage will be far from dull – those two aren’t even dull when they are happy. Everyone keeps saying that Moira is taming Cain, but that isn’t true. He has grown up. He has matured and that is what attracted her."

How does her proposal to him come about?

"Cain has encouraged Moira to do this big supermarket deal despite the fact that James has declared his love for her. He has booked a suite at the hotel for an extra night and they are sitting on the bed. Moira looks at him and is so impressed by the way he has stood by her. She thinks 'You are so sexy' and then casually says, 'Let’s get married'."

Will they make it as far as actually getting married, do you think?

"I can’t wait for the potential wedding day. It will be the first time in my career that I have been married on screen. I can’t imagine it will be traditional. Moira had a traditional white wedding with John and I think she will want something simpler now."

You're not married, but have you given much thought to what the day would be like for you in real life?

"I can’t see myself coming down the aisle of a church, mainly because I have a thing about the sea. I would love to be in my bare feet in the sand. Some friends of mine got married in Portugal and it was fantastic. I certainly wouldn’t spend thousands. I couldn’t cope with that. Marriage isn’t about the money or the glitz, relationships are about being there for each other."

Are you in a relationship now?

"Yes. The relationship is relatively new, so I don’t want to talk about it just yet. I want to keep it special. I haven’t had the most amazing track record. I have been single for a long time and I am one of those people, who, if it is not working early on, I don’t waste time."

How will you celebrate Valentine's Day this year then?

"We will cook a nice meal and stay in, rather than go out there where the restaurants are full of with couples. I think the key is to make an effort all year round – not just on one day."

You've been in Emmerdale for four years. Are you still happy on the show?

"I have been very fortunate with the stories I have been given and long may it continue. I do enjoy playing Moira and get a great response on Twitter. I think women can relate to her. Perhaps it is because she is less glamorous than some of the other females in the show. It’s great because I only wear foundation and mascara before I slip on my blue overalls. It takes hardly any time to get ready.

Do you enjoy working with Jeff [Hordley, Cain]?

"Working with Jeff is brilliant. We get on really well and have worked hard to make the relationship between Cain and Moira feel natural and believable. We can do it with our eyes shut now, as we know each other so well. We do have a laugh, although we argue about football sometimes – he is Manchester City and I am Manchester United. At the moment, he is coming on set with a smug look on his face."

Why does Moira think Cain’s going to propose?

“He’s taking her away for a night and acting out of character, so she thinks he must be planning more than an evening out. The last time he proposed, Moira didn’t get a chance to answer him and it hasn’t come up again, but she would seriously consider it if he asked her to marry him.”

How special is this special night?

“The B&B has been totally transformed for her and she is taken aback. It’s really pretty and very romantic.”

But Cain doesn’t propose…

“Moira’s gutted and embarrassed to discover that Cain actually wants Moira there to have sex. The farmhouse is a little bit crowded, so Cain suggests they try every room at the B&B.”

But on New Year’s Day Moira ends up in hospital! How?

“She’s back on the farm and falls off a ladder and goes over on her ankle. It’s quite a bad sprain and James takes her to the hospital. However, when she comes out, Cain has come to pick her up. She's really pleased he has made the effort.”

Does Moira enjoy Cain being jealous of James?

“She’s skimming over it and not making it a big deal. She has no eyes for James.”
