Following his highly-decorated NBA career, Shaquille O'Neal has become quite the prolific businessman. Now, Netflix subscribers globally get to see Shaq’s business acumen in the brand-new docuseries, Power Moves with Shaquille O'Neal, added today [Wednesday, June 4].

The series sees Shaq partner with Allen “The Answer” Iverson, as the two work together to try and “revive Reebok's legacy.”

In the course of American history, there have been several shoe brands that helped shape basketball culture. There’s been Nike (yes, this includes Air Jordans), Adidas, Converse (now owned by Nike), Under Armour and PUMA. But also among these brands has been the legendary Reebok.

While Reebok’s roots are in England, since its creation, Reebok shoes have adorned the feet of millions of Americans and several high-profile NBA stars. Hoop legends Dominique Wilkins, Yao Ming, Iverson and O'Neal all have served as ambassadors for the company.

Despite the high profile of the company and its clientele, over the years, Reebok’s popularity has fallen due to the rising popularity of its competitors. This is something Shaq and Allen Iverson hope to fix. The synopsis for Power Moves with Shaquille O'Neal offers more details on the specifics of how:

"Reebok was Shaquille O’Neal’s first sponsor and now we will follow him as he takes on the role of President of Reebok Basketball to try and revive this struggling brand and restore it to its former glory. Along with Allen Iverson as VP, we will follow Shaq and team hustling to pull it off at the Reebok HQ in Boston."

Judging by the following trailer, it appears that in addition to Shaq and Allen Iverson, viewers will see some new-age basketball stars as well. At first glance, I was able to spot WNBA phenom Angel Reese, WNBA Dallas Wings star DiJonai Carrington and Chicago Bulls power forward, Matas Buzelis.

Again, Power Moves with Shaquille O'Neal is Netflix’s new sports docuseries. In order to watch the episodes, you’ll need a subscription to the streaming service. Currently, Netflix offers several options for would-be subscribers.

Sports documentaries are a favorite of mine, and today [Tuesday, May 6], Netflix debuts Untold: Shooting Guards, the story of what went down in the Washington Wizards’ locker room in 2009.

Having grown up in the Washington, DC area and being an avid fan of the NBA, I’ve found myself mystified over the years by the 2009 gun incident between then-Washington Wizards superstar Gilbert Arenas and his teammate, Jarvaris Crittenton. Arenas, in particular, earned the respect of fans and many top players in the league at the time, as a prolific point guard. To this day, he shares a record for the most points scored by a Wizard in a game with Bradley Beal. So imagine how shocked I was when he took a sledgehammer to his career in a dumbfounding argument.

For those who aren’t as familiar, as reported by NBC’s local DC news, on December 19, 2009, Arenas and Crittenton were with the team on a plane heading back from a road trip out West. The two men wound up getting into an argument over gambling losses. As arguing ensued, court documents allege:

"Arenas threatened to shoot Crittenton in the face, and Crittenton said he'd shoot Arenas in his bad knee. Their dispute became heated when the team reconvened for practice two days later, when Arenas took the guns from his locker and Crittenton produced his gun as well."

It didn’t take long for news of the incident to make its way to the press and cause a media frenzy. In response, the NBA Commissioner at the time, David Stern, called for the players to serve lengthy suspensions, and both Crittenton and Arenas pleaded guilty to gun-related charges.

Fast forward to the present, and Netflix looks to take a deep dive into the whole ordeal through this riveting new Untold episode. Here is an official synopsis of Untold: Shooting Guards:

The 2024-2025 NBA season has been full of surprises. One of the biggest weekends of the basketball season is NBA All-Star Weekend, a celebration of the best players in the league, taking place this year, February 14-16.

Over the course of the three days, NBA fans will see many of the league's biggest stars show off their skills in games and challenges, and we've got a schedule of the events, as well as where you can watch them, below. Here's what you need to know to watch NBA All-Star Weekend 2025.

How to watch NBA All-Star Weekend in the US

In the US, you're going to find that NBA All-Star weekend is scattered across a few different services and providers. While TNT has the majority of the events, you'll also need access to TruTV, ESPN and NBA TV in order to watch everything being offered. In the schedule below, we'll indicate which channel you need for events.

If your cable package doesn't include TNT, TruTV, ESPN and NBA TV (or you don't have cable), several live TV streaming services offer all four stations. Sling TV has TNT and ESPN on its Orange plan, though you'll need to pay extra for its Sports Extra package to gain access to NBA TV. TruTV is only on the Blue plan, but you'll also be able to find TNT on it. YouTube TV also has all four channels.

Fubo misses out on TNT and TruTV while Hulu with live TV doesn't have NBA TV, so these are options that will get you some, but not all, of the events.

Additionally, the TNT and TruTv NBA All-Star events will be available to stream on Max. Currently, the streaming platform offers a few different options for would-be subscribers.

The 2024 NBA playoffs certainly had a handful of surprises. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since the Donald Sterling tapes hit the news cycles, rocking the NBA and sparking a greater conversation about professional sports and race. For those in need of a refresher, Sterling was the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers. In 2014, his mistress and employee, V. Stiviano, leaked audio of him making racist and offensive remarks that not only insulted the players on his team, but also basketball fans and people in general. As players demanded league higher-ups take action and the public outcry began to swell, Sterling quickly saw the franchise he helped build slip through his fingers. 

It's this controversy that will be front and center in the drama of Clipped, and with big-name stars like Ed O'Neill and Laurence Fishburne playing pivotal roles, the show may prove to be a must-watch of the summer. Here's everything we know about Clipped.

Clipped premieres on Tuesday, June 4. 

Clipped airs exclusively in the US on Hulu. Those hoping to watch episodes of the series need a subscription to either Hulu with Live TV, the Disney Plus Bundle or the standalone Hulu service. 

The series is expected to stream on Disney Plus in the UK, but at this time, we don’t have a timeframe for when that will be. As more information becomes available, we’ll pass along the update.

"Famed coach Doc Rivers (Laurence Fishburne) arrives as coach of the LA Clippers in 2013. With a promising roster of big personalities, Rivers has the building blocks to win the franchise's first championship.

As previously mentioned, Clipped stars Ed O'Neill as Donald Sterling and Laurence Fishburne as Doc Rivers. O'Neill is a three-time Emmy nominee for his work in Modern Family, but is also known for his work in Married with Children, The Bone Collector and Entourage (the movie), to name a few projects. Fishburne is an Oscar nominee for his work in What's Love Got to Do with It and is also recognizable for such roles in Black-ish, John Wick: Chapter 4 and The Matrix movies.

One of the biggest weekends of the basketball season is NBA All-Star Weekend, a celebration of the best players in the league, taking place this year between February 16 and 18.

How to watch NBA All-Star Weekend in the US

In the US, you're going to find that NBA All-Star weekend is scattered across a few different services and providers, which may make your streaming process a pain.

While TNT has the majority of the events, you'll also need ESPN and NBA TV in order to watch everything being offered. In the schedule below, we'll indicate which channel you need for events.

Luckily, if your cable package doesn't include TNT, ESPN and NBA TV (or you don't have cable), several live TV streaming services offer all three. Sling TV has TNT and ESPN on its Orange plan, though you'll need to pay extra for its Sports Extra package to gain access to NBA TV. YouTube TV also has all three channels.

FuboTV misses out on TNT while Hulu with live TV doesn't have NBA TV, so these are options that will get you some, but not all, of the events.

Additionally, the TNT NBA All-Star events will be available to stream on Max. Currently, the streaming platform offers a few different options for would-be subscribers.

In the UK, two different places host NBA All-Star Weekend events: Discovery Plus and the NBA League Pass.

In an NBA playoff season that almost no one could have predicted, it all boils down to the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat in the NBA finals. 

The series will certainly prove interesting to watch as this will be the Denver Nuggets' first franchise appearance in the finals, and as an eight-seed, the Miami Heat weren't even expected to make it out of the first round, let alone make it to the championship games.

After 82 games, the NBA playoffs are here to determine who is going to be crowned the 2023 NBA champion. With many of the game’s best players set to compete for that — including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo — you’re not going to want to miss a second of the action.

That's why we've put together this handy-dandy guide on just about everything you need to know on where, when and how to watch the 2023 NBA playoffs, from the play-in games for the final spots in the Eastern and Western Conference brackets all the way through to the NBA Finals. We've got the information on what channels have the games, the schedule (as we know it so far) and other key questions you may have.

It's going to be about two months of nearly non-stop NBA action until someone takes home the title, so let's get you ready for it all.

How to watch the NBA playoffs in the US

NBA playoff games are going to air on the combination of ESPN, ABC, TNT and NBA TV throughout the playoffs, with the NBA Finals airing entirely on ABC.

ABC is one of the US' main four broadcast networks that are available to anyone with a traditional pay-TV subscription or a TV antenna. If you've moved away from traditional cable though to a live TV streaming service, ABC is available on popular services such as DirecTV, FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV and YouTube TV.

ESPN and TNT, meanwhile, are premium cable channels, but are widely available on both traditional cable TV subscriptions (double check with your local provider) and live TV streaming services. If you're looking for the latter, ESPN is available on DirecTV, FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV (specifically Orange) and YouTube TV; TNT is available on DirecTV, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV (both Blue and Orange) and YouTube TV.

Then there is NBA TV, which while not available as a standard channel on DirecTV, FuboTV, Sling TV or YouTube TV, can be added as part of an add-on bundle on all the services. You can also access NBA TV broadcasts through NBA League Pass, with plans ranging from $15-$20 a month.

While most NBA playoff games are not going to be available to stream, there is going to be at least one game in the first round that can be watched on ESPN Plus. The April 15 game between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers is going to stream on the service, as well as have an alternate broadcast hosted by Stephen A. Smith on ESPN2.

How to watch NBA playoffs in the UK

Sky Sports is going to be the main home for the NBA playoffs in the UK, with games airing live on various Sky Sports channels (primarily the Main Channel and Arena). If you don't currently have Sky Sports, it's £24 per month on top of your standard Sky TV subscription, so you can get them bundled together for £46 if you're not already a subscriber. 

There is going to be a free option to watch this year, but only for a handful of games. The BBC previously announced that it would broadcast two NBA playoff games through the first few rounds, one conference finals game and one NBA finals game. What games those are going to be are not known as of publication.

NBA League Pass is also an option for basketball fans in the UK.

How to watch the NBA playoffs from anywhere

ESPN is one of the broadcast homes for the NBA, offering nationally televised games throughout the season as well as the NBA playoffs. But can you watch live NBA games with the self-proclaimed worldwide leader in sports' streaming service, ESPN Plus?

It's complicated.

ESPN Plus offers its subscribers a mix of live sports and original programming. Currently, the sports that you can stream regularly on ESPN Plus include the NHL, college football and other college sports, MLB, the PGA Tour UFC, the Professional Fighting League (PFL), MLS, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Emirates FA Cup, Copa del Ray, the EFL, Scottish Premiership, Top Rank boxing, tennis, cricket, rugby and the Professional Lacrosse League (PLL) and more. Similar to the NFL on ESPN Plus, the streaming service does not regularly stream the NBA, but there are some exceptions.

Select NBA games are being streamed on ESPN Plus, with a simulcast of the ESPN broadcast, a Spanish-language broadcast and Stephen A. Smith's new alternate broadcast available to stream for the game.

For the first week of the 2023-2024 season, there are going to be four NBA games on ESPN, however none of them are going to be available to stream on ESPN Plus.

One of the biggest days in the calendar of NBA fans is Christmas Day, with five big time games featuring some of the biggest stars taking place. This annual tradition has been a staple of the NBA.

In 2022, as with every year since 2008, five Christmas Day matches are taking place, with the games staggered over the course of the day to make sure you can drag yourself away from Christmas dinner to see at least one (or all five if you're dedicated).

However, unlike with the vast majority of NBA games, you can't use League Pass to watch the two games — don't boot up the app, as you'll be disappointed to find no games.

That's why we've written this guide on how to watch the NBA Christmas Games, to make sure you can catch every dunk, foul and three-pointer. Plus, we've included some information about all the games below.

Watch the NBA Christmas games in the US

While your default for NBA streaming might be the NBA League Pass, the five Christmas Day games aren't actually airing on the basketball league's streaming app.

Instead, all five games are airing on both ESPN and ABC, so if your cable package includes either of these channels, you'll be fine.

If not, you can use live TV streaming services like FuboTV, YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV, all of which carry both of those major channels. Sling TV offers ESPN on its Orange plan, but it doesn't have ABC.

How to watch the NBA on ESPN

ESPN is a cable network, but thankfully there are a few ways to get it whether you have cut the cord or not. First, the network is available from just about all traditional cable TV providers (though it never hurts to double-check), which means if you're signed up for a cable package then you should have access to all live games on ESPN.

Those who have opted to move away from traditional pay-TV options can still watch ESPN live if they sign up for a live TV streaming service. ESPN is carried by all four of the most prominent live TV streaming services: Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV.

All of these options allow you to watch the game on your TV, but if you are signed up for any of them you can also watch on your computer or mobile device through either ESPN.com or the Watch ESPN app.

Some NBA games also air on ABC (i.e., Christmas Day games, playoffs). All of the above options, except for Sling TV in some markets, apply to watch ABC as well. However, you can also watch your local ABC station with no such subscription if you have a TV antenna to receive local over-the-air signals.

In case you're wondering if you can watch the NBA on ESPN Plus since the sports network covers the league intensively, the answer is: sometimes. Most NBA games are not available to stream on ESPN Plus, however, simulcasts of select ESPN NBA games (in English and in Spanish) are now being offered on ESPN Plus, as is Stephen A. For UK basketball fans, Sky TV carries many games live, though at least in the early part of the season it does not look like they do so for games carried on ESPN.

Just like Peyton and Eli Manning have their Manningcast that serves as an alternate broadcast for Monday Night Football, ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith is going to be doing an alternate broadcast for NBA games on the network called NBA in Stephen A's World for select games throughout the season.

Buckle up. More Lakers-related content is here, and this time it has the backing of the people behind the trophies and fanfare. Enter Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers.

Over the past year, a lot of attention has been placed on the NBA dynasty. Months ago, the hit HBO series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty captivated fans with the dramatized account of how the Showtime-era Lakers took shape. While viewers seemed to fawn over the show, a few of the real players and personnel of that time offered some very harsh critiques of the series for its fabrication of events. 

The loudest critics were basketball legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Jerry West. (With all fairness, we did our research via Fact vs Fiction pieces that proved a number of things shown in the series were indeed dramatizations and not what actually happened.)

Now with an opportunity for not just the Showtime-era Lakers but many big names that have played a part in the history of the purple and gold to share their truths, the new docuseries provides NBA fans with an entertaining streaming option.

Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers debuted in the US on Monday, August 15 on Hulu. The 10-part series continues to air new episodes on the following Mondays. While some may argue the series is a bit biased in favor of those involved with the building of the Laker Dynasty, many viewers are enjoying the docuseries. Especially since it reveals more about the mysteries behind the Buss family. The season finale wraps on Monday, October 10.

Hulu describes the premise of the docuseries as the following:

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that while the show discusses the building of the empire, it looks as if some of the personalities featured discuss the tragic passing of NBA great Kobe Bryant.

On July 20, 2021 history was made in the NBA when the Milwaukee Bucks won a championship title. That was the day the two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brother Thanasis joined their sibling Kostas, and became the first trio of brothers to become NBA champions. Growing up, the Antetokounmpo siblings had their share of uphill battles. The Nigerian-born children emigrated to Greece with their family and struggled financially, while constantly living under the threat of deportation. Disney describes the Rise plot as the following:

Latecomers to the sport, they discovered their great abilities on the basketball court and worked hard to become world-class athletes. Rise cast 

In a special casting choice, real-life brothers Uche Agada and Ral Agada star as Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo. Rise marks the first major acting jobs for the pair. Additionally, here’s a fun fact. According to Disney, Uche was actually working at a WaWa drive-thru when he saw Giannis’ casting call on Instagram for someone to play him in a movie. 

Taking on the roles of the other Antetokounmpo brothers Kostas and Alex are novice actors Jaden Osimuwa and Elijah Sholanke. Also joining these young actors as the patriarch and matriarch of the Antetokounmpo family are Dayo Okeniyi and Yetide Badaki. Okeniyi has previously starred as Oloman in the Apple TV Plus series See and as Paul in the Hulu film Fresh. Badaki portrayed Bilquis in the Starz show American Gods and Chi Chi in the sentimental smash-hit This Is Us.

In what has become a holiday tradition, the NBA will feature a slate of Christmas games with many of their most popular players and best teams. With five games on the docket for Dec. 25, there will be action all day as the first NBA Christmas game is scheduled for tipoff at noon ET and the final one is expected to begin at 10:30 p.m. ET.

This year’s matchups for the NBA’s Christmas games are the Atlanta Hawks at the New York Knicks at noon ET on ESPN; the Boston Celtics at the Milwaukee Bucks at 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC; the Golden State Warriors at the Phoenix Suns at 5 p.m. ET on ABC; the Brooklyn Nets at the Los Angeles Lakers at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and simulcasting on ESPN; and the Dallas Mavericks at the Utah Jazz at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. While this is the planned schedule for the NBA’s Christmas games, the league has acknowledged that the situation is fluid at the moment as a result of the surge of COVID cases because of the Omicron variant. As ESPN detailed, the league may shift around some of the games in the event others need to be postponed, with the league specifically looking to ensure that they have games played on ABC at the 2:30 p.m. ET, 5:00 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. ET time slots. Here is what you need to know on how to watch the NBA Christmas games this year.

How to watch 2021 NBA Christmas games in the U.S.

All five of the NBA Christmas games will air on either ABC or ESPN. The good news is that both of these channels are pretty readily available for subscribers, but there are a couple of things you need to be aware of for both.

Let’s start with ABC. ABC is one of the four major broadcast networks in the U.S. and as a result is required to be carried by all traditional cable/satellite pay-TV providers. The network also features a local station that serves every U.S. TV market, with the station’s signals being able to be received by viewers who opt to use a TV antenna. The last way to watch ABC is via a live TV streaming service, including FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV and YouTube TV.

ESPN, on the other hand, is a cable channel, which immediately rules out using a TV antenna to watch it. While it is readily available on many traditional pay-TV subscriptions, best to check and make sure that one carries the sports network. If you jumped on your favorite streaming app today looking for the NBA Playoffs, it’s possible that you were confused or surprised when you saw there were no games being played. Today’s NBA game postponements began with the Milwaukee Bucks, who decided as a team to not take the floor for their 4 p.m. game against the Orlando Magic in response to the killing of another unarmed black man — shot in the back just 35 miles away from where they play. The boycott spread quickly as the Magic players left the court, and then the NBA teams in the remaining games announced similar boycotts. MLB's Milwaukee Brewers quickly followed suit.

These actions came in response to the Wisconsin police shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man in Kenosha, Wis., on Aug. 23, 2020. I certainly cannot recommend that you watch the video of the event, which I cannot bring myself to see. However accounts of the video and witnesses on the scene say that Blake was punched, tased and then shot in the back seven times while unarmed. Blake reportedly was trying to reach his three children, who were in the back of his car.

The NBA players, and the country as a whole, witnessed this all developing in the context of the movement towards racial justice that has dominated the spring and summer — but has been going on for decades — sparked by the police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor among others. A majority of NBA players are black, with recent statistics putting it at approximately 75 percent, including a large majority of the biggest stars in the game.

Through the NBA Restart after the COVID-19 related break, players were pushing social issues to the forefront of what they do. This has included silent protests, as well as painting the message “Black Lives Matter” on the court and some team buses. Many NBA Players opening struggled with the decision to return to the court while they were watching and participating in a movement that was much bigger than sports.

The Milwaukee Bucks hail from Wisconsin, so this particular shooting is clearly close to their players even as they are in the NBA bubble down in Orlando. It was fitting that they made the initial decision not to play, even as their brothers on other teams stood with them and chose not to play.

So, what are you going to stream instead of the NBA Playoff games? I hope that fans will tune in anyway. Instead of a game, which is usually a welcomed and enjoyable diversion, fans will find thoughtful coverage of NBA players, coaches, analysts and reporters talking about the painful issues facing the Black community, including these police shootings.

Many will say “Stick to sports,” which has always been a false choice to me. People with power, money and fame regularly use their platforms to speak on so many different issues that are important to them. Our country has had athletes become politicians in both major parties, and serve in offices from Mayor to Congressperson. There is also the deep hypocrisy of team owners and organizations participating in political and community activities while telling their players to just dribble.

You may feel like you care about basketball but you don’t need to care about all of these social issues. In an interview on Tuesday, Los Angeles Clippers Head Coach Doc Rivers said “You don’t need to be Black to be outraged.” For decades and decades, Black communities have complained about unacceptable behaviors by police, and now the cell phone has become the tool that brings these cries to life.

NBA players are hoping that by making this move, people who watch the games and enjoy their capabilities can also learn and understand their lives and struggles. For those who dismiss these players as rich, and therefore removed from the struggles of everyday life as a Black person in America, I urge you to listen to their words and see the pain, anger and determination in their faces.

As a Black man myself, I can tell you firsthand that professional and financial success does little to remove the struggle, danger or hurt of being Black in America. These problems are gigantic, and urgent and they are not simply the problems of one race to solve for themselves. Turning a blind eye to widespread injustice in the name of sports, entertainment, or simply “not my problem” can crack the foundation of this country as much as any threat of socialism, authoritarianism or an enemy at the border.

Tonight, I’ll be watching this coverage more than I will news coverage, but I know I’m not who the players need to have tuned in. I’ve lived a life full of experiences as a Black man, and I know a lot about what they have to share already. Instead of turning to Netflix or old highlights, please consider streaming the coverage on TNT as well as other sports networks like ESPN. If you care about these Black athletes on the court, try to care about their lives in the streets. There is a fine line of breaks and luck that separates Giannis Antetokounmpo from Jacob Blake.

When the NBA and the players go back to playing games, fans of all races, ages and experiences can choose to cheer, yell and enjoy the best pro basketball available anywhere. If you remember this time out in a few days, hopefully it will be because you are more aware of the pain and urgency of the issues faced by NBA players and coaches, as well as all of their families and communities.

An American Pickle

What happens when you get preserved in pickle brine for 100 years and wake up in 2020? Find out tonight in the HBO Max exclusive film An American Pickle. In the film Seth Rogan  stars as an Eastern European immigrant who somehow manages to get preserved in pickle brine in 1920. Sounds crazy, but with the year we’re all having also sounds like a totally normal thing to happen. Rogen plays both the main character and his great grandson in the film.

We’ve been on a bit of superhero kick at my house of the past month or so and have been binging Doom Patrol on HBO Max over the past few weeks. If you haven’t given it a try, I highly recommend watching a few of the superpowers freaks misadventures. Restaurants have faced some special challenges over the past few months both in that they had to shut down due to the pandemic and that they had to revamp how they’re handling business going forward thanks to all the new safety precautions in place. Tonight Robert Irvine heads to Titusville, Florida to help the restaurant Lord Have Mercy reopen after a COVID-19 shutdown.

Stanley Cup Qualifiers

You don’t usually see hockey in the summer, especially playoff hockey, but here we are. The Stanley Cup Qualifiers officially kicked off Saturday and continue on today. The top four teams in both conferences are playing a three-game round robin for seeding in the First Round, and all of the games are being played in Canada. Even weirder, they’re being played in just two arenas. The eastern conference is playing exclusively at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and the western conference at Rogers Place in Edmonton, with games scheduled one right after the other. That means you have games that start as early as 12pm EDT each day and sometimes as late as 10:30pm EDT. 

Today you can catch the Panthers vs. Islanders at 12pm EDT,  Blue Jackets vs. Maple Leaves at 4pm EDT, Hurricanes vs. Rangers at 8pm EDT. All three games will be broadcast on NBCSN. 

Ordinary Love

Liam Neeson and Lesley Manville star in Ordinary Love. The film follows the lives of a middle-aged couple as they grapple with the wife’s breast cancer diagnosis. The film had a limited run in US theaters in February but arrived on Hulu this week.

John Lewis: Celebrating a Hero

Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Gayle King and Brad Pitt will join together tonight to host a tribute for Rep. John Lewis. The one-hour special is expected to include musical guests alongside interviews and “inspirational conversations” and will give viewers a look at Lewis’ life and accomplishments.

Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Trevor Noah, and Jon Batiste are also expected to perform.

NBA: Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat

The Boston Celtics take on the Miami Heat tonight from HP Field House in Orlando Florida where the teams have been living in a pandemic bubble along with the rest of the NBA.

Chopped

Football comes to Chopped tonight. Tonight’s episode features four football-loving chefs who will be tasked with creating some unique and tasty dishes to help feed hungry sports fans on game day. The competitive cooking show always offers a few fun twists, and who knows, you might get some inspiration for your next big party. We’re guessing that’s going to happen in 2022?

House Hunters International

Watch your local NBA team on a Regional Sports Networks

Many basketball fans love their local team, and want to watch those games more than any others. If you live near your favorite NBA team, the best way to watch their games will be on a Regional Sports Network. Teams have local agreements with regional sports networks to show almost every game they play.

Nearly all of the NBA Regional Sports Networks are available on at least one of the major live streaming services. Unfortunately, it is only bad news for CordCutters fans of four teams. The Toronto Raptors aren't a surprise, as these are U.S. services and they have a Canadian sports network. However, local fans of the Nuggets, Lakers and Jazz are currently without a live streaming option for their team's Regional Sports Network.

Find your local team, and local network, in this chart to see which streaming service offers the games you want. When you sign up for your free trial, make sure you choose a plan that includes the Regional Sports Network, and check your ZIP code to ensure you're included.

NBA League Pass

If you truly love NBA basketball, the option that scores above all of the others is NBA League Pass. For the hardcore fan, lots of basketball can't compete when you want all of the games.

The NBA offers two plans. NBA Team Pass lets you pick one out of market team, so you can watch all of their games. Think of Team Pass like a Regional Sports Network for teams that aren't in your local region. If you are a Spurs fan living in Washington DC, you can watch every Spurs game with Team Pass, except when they play the Washington Wizards. NBA League Pass lets you choose from every game in the league at any time, as long as it isn't blacked out locally for you.

One of the easiest ways to subscribe to the NBA League Pass is on Amazon Prime Channels . Amazon handles the account and billing, so you won't need to create any new accounts or store your credit card somewhere new. You also won't need any new apps, because NBA League Pass would be available everywhere you have the Amazon Prime Video app. This option is especially appealing for Fire TV devices, which will have the best integrated experience. You can even get a one-week free trial from Oct. 22 - 29 if you sign up for NBA League Pass on Amazon Prime Channels.

As outlined in the Live Streaming section above, the NBA League Pass options are also available to add on to Sling TV & YouTube TV, or you can get the NBA League or Team Pass directly from NBA.com. If you choose this option, you will need to use the NBA app on your supported devices to watch.

Watch the NBA using an over the air antenna

One of the easiest ways to watch a handful of NBA games after cutting the cord is using an antenna. You can hook up an over-the-air antenna to your TV or tuner, and turn on your local ABC station to get access to 18 nationally televised games for the season.

These games don't start until Christmas Day, but you can check the official schedule for the ABC games on the NBA stats page. These games tend to focus on the biggest teams and best matchups. You can visit the NBA Stats page to check out the NBA on ABC schedule

The best over-the-air antennas available

If you want to use your over-the-air antenna with a smartphone, tablet, or streaming device, you could consider buying an over-the-air streaming box. It will take whatever the antenna can pick up, and convert it to stream on your local network.

If you tend to watch as a mobile first, or mobile-only NBA fan, you should give the Yahoo Sports app a try. Yahoo Sports can let you watch NBA games in the Yahoo Sports app on your smartphone or tablet only. You can watch up to 8 selected games for free using credits they give every user. You can also choose to subscribe to a mobile only version of the NBA League Pass for $100. Just remember that this subscription to NBA League Pass is different from all of the others, and it only works in the Yahoo Sports App.
