Sienna Blake and Warren Fox’s wedding day is fast-approaching. But there’s little chance of a happy ending with Grace Black on the warpath. “Sienna’s daughter, Nico, ruined Grace’s wedding day when she killed the groom, Trevor Royle,” Tamara Wall told Soaplife. “Plus she thinks she loves Warren. So Grace will do anything she can to wreck Sienna’s big day.”

What does Grace like about Warren? “He’s a bit dodgy, he’s good-looking and he’s engaged to Sienna [Anna Passey]. Perfect! At the beginning, it was all a bit of a laugh, but she’s fallen for him big-style!”

How does she feel about Warren’s impending wedding day? “She didn’t think it was going to happen. Then he suddenly said, ‘I’m marrying Sienna!’ She’s still in shock over it.”

Why does she tell her mum, Tracey, about it? “They’ve made up and she needs to tell someone and let it all out. Tracey urges her to fight for her man. She’s like, ‘Get your heels on and go get him!’.”

How does Grace plan to “get him”? “She thinks if she dresses up, puts on some make-up and goes to find him alone, she can say, ‘Why would you want to be with Sienna? She’s boring!’ Then Warren [Jamie Lomas] will change his mind. She plans to say, ‘I’m not messing about. I love you. Come on!’.”

Does the plan work? “You’ll have to wait and see! But there’s no way that Grace can stand back quietly and let Sienna have a happy ending. She’s capable of going to extreme lengths to stop this wedding, too. Let’s just say things get very dramatic!”

Does she realise how ill Sienna is? “She obviously knows she’s ill, but she doesn’t think she’s dying or anything like that. She was the one who tried to persuade her to have the operation, so she’d feel bad if she died. Despite everything that’s happened between them, Grace does have a heart.”

Can you see Grace and Warren living happily ever after? “If Sienna wasn’t in the picture, Grace would probably get bored quite quickly. Wouldn’t it be brilliant if she ruins everything, ends up with Warren, then realises she doesn’t want him after all?”

Mum-to-be-of-twins Sienna Blake faces a dramatic life-saving or life-ending operation in Hollyoaks! Anna Passey opens up about the drama

She’s done some mad and bad things, but you can’t help feeling sorry for Sienna Blake as she prepares to have cancer surgery that may kill her unborn twins. “She’s terrified and struggling to hold it together,” Anna Passey told Soaplife.

Will her babies survive and is her cancer curable?

What’s going on in Sienna’s head? “She’s really frightened and she’s not trying to hide it. Her first priority is the safety of the babies. She’s afraid of what will happen to them and, on top of that, there’s the issue of her own health. It’s a risky operation and there’s a high chance that things could go wrong.”

How does she feel about Warren now? “They’ve had a rough time together and they’ve been mistrustful of each other. But before the operation, he gives her a necklace and he reassures her that everything will be okay because the babies are little Foxes. They’re in a strong place and Sienna feels reassured.”

So, why does she run away from the hospital? “She makes out that it’s because she’s lost the necklace that Warren [Jamie Lomas] gave her, but she doesn’t really want to have the operation. She wants to give birth to the babies safely and having to go in and be operated on is too much for her. Kim Butterfield finds her in The Folly and she manages to talk some sense into her.”

How will she cope if her babies die? “I honestly don’t see her coming back from that. She’ll have to have a hysterectomy once these babies are born, if indeed they are, so this is her last chance to become a mum again. Everything went wrong when she had her daughter, Nico, and, if she were to lose these babies now, it would be so unbelievably cruel.”

She’s had a terrible time... “I know! I feel that every time she comes through something, the writers get together and say, ‘What can we test her with now?’. This is the hardest story I’ve done so far. They sold it to me on the grounds of it being a story that raises awareness of cervical cancer so I’m nervous about getting it right. And I feel for Sienna. She deserves some credit for just getting up in the mornings. She’s the toughest woman in Hollyoaks!”

Sienna Blake tells Warren Fox she’s expecting his child. But is she, or is this another nasty game? Soaplife asks Hollyoaks star Anna Passey

Sienna Blake has proved herself to be more than a few sandwiches short of a picnic to Warren Fox. He wants rid of her, but Sienna hopes she’ll win Warren round when she announces she’s pregnant with his baby. “She knows he isn’t going to say he loves her,” Anna Passey tells Soaplife. “But she’s sure he’ll want to care for his child, and she’s got nine months to prove herself.”

Not long ago, Sienna hated Warren… “I know, but she’s moved on. She was hell-bent on getting justice for the death of her daughter, Nico. But she’s come to realise Warren [Jamie Lomas] had good intentions when he saved her from the fire first. She loves Warren and she now realises Nico’s death wasn’t his fault.”

Acting desperate won’t win Warren back, though! “No, but Sienna does desperation well. She wouldn’t ever move on from a relationship like a normal person. She’s got nobody left. She realises he has no interest in getting back together with her, but she does think he’ll want to care for his child. She’s seen that in the way he is with Joel [Rory Douglas-Speed] and how he behaves about his late sister, Katy.”

Is Sienna really carrying Warren’s child? “That would be telling. Warren doesn’t take Sienna at face value any more, so he demands she take a test when she goes round to explain she’s pregnant.”

Can Sienna ever be a good mum? “She is capable of it, but it would be very difficult. She has so many demons. Terrible things have happened to her and she’s not good at having a normal relationship with another human being. However, if she managed to keep Warren and raise a child into some semblance of a normal human being, it would be a curse lifted.”

Would you like her to be pregnant? “It would be interesting, but I don’t like the prosthetic belly. I wore it for nine months when Sienna faked a pregnancy. It was hot and heavy and I acted differently. I made that little exhale that heavily pregnant women do every time I sat down. I also wanted to eat lots of cake!”

Sienna has second thoughts about getting revenge on Warren Fox by using his son, Joel. But then events spiral out of control, Anna Passey tells Soaplife…

Sienna Blake is grief-stricken in the wake of losing daughter Nico during Hollyoaks' Halloween inferno. Rather than deal with it like a normal person, though, she’s embarked upon another evil vendetta with Warren Fox as her target.

But, when his son, Joel, twigs domestically abused parishioner Anna and Warren’s girlfriend Sienna are one and the same, she panics and puts the young priest’s life in danger, reveals star Anna Passey.

Why is Sienna hell-bent on revenge against Warren? “She’s distracting herself from the grief by pinning all the blame for Nico’s death on Warren. She isn’t prepared to look at what really happened.”

Why does she change her mind about hurting Warren? “She wants him to feel the pain she’s experiencing. But he starts to talk about his dead sister, Katy, and she remembers he’s lost someone, too. When Sienna sees how upset he gets, she thinks maybe he’s a good guy after all and he doesn’t quite deserve this.”

Does she consider calling her whole twisted plan off? “She does, but Warren invites Joel round to show him the religious paraphernalia that Sienna’s supposedly been sent by her mystery stalker. Joel recognises the rosary beads as those he gave to ‘Anna’ and he realises something is up. Sienna’s hiding in the bedroom at the time, thinking she may have to lash out and run.”

Can’t Sienna have a word with Joel and put him off the scent? “She tries to. She tells Joel they don’t need to meet any more because she’s trying to sort things out with her partner, Mark. But, at that point, Joel knows she’s really Sienna and he says ‘I think we have a problem…’ Sienna asks Warren to leave Hollyoaks with her, but he wants to stay for Joel’s sake.”

What happens next? “Joel runs off to tell his dad everything, so Sienna grabs his bicycle helmet and clobbers him with it. She’s near the garage so she drags him in. She has a moment to think about what she’s going to do next and then it all goes horribly wrong. She’s cursing herself because, at this point, she really wants to repair things with Warren and for Joel to get lost.”

How much danger is Joel in? “Sienna isn’t a cold-blooded killer like Warren, but she does these awful things and yes, Joel’s life is in danger.”

While most Hollyoaks residents will be focusing on eating, drinking and being merry this Christmas, Sienna Blake is contemplating serving cold revenge. She's on the case of boyfriend Warren for rescuing her rather than her daughter, Nico, from the Halloween fire, and decides the best way to do that is to target his son, Joel.

We caught up with star Anna Passey to get the lowdown on Sienna’s plot in the Channel 4 soap and discover her own (hopefully less vicious!) festive plans...

So what is Sienna’s revenge plan for Warren – does she want his son, Joel, dead? "It starts with her thinking 'I hate you; what is the meanest thing I can do to make you feel awful?'” and that is to go after the son. If Warren were to walk in and find the two of them together, that would break his heart. But as things progress and that plan doesn’t really work out, she starts to daydream and think: 'Maybe what Warren really needs to feel is what I feel, which is losing his child.'

"We see a scene where she’s dreaming about it, and the outcome is that Warren would come in and find them together and end up killing his own son in a rage."

Is there not a part of her that realises Warren faced a dilemma? He couldn’t rescue both her and Nico from the fire... "No. But I think deep down, even though she wouldn’t admit to it, she still really loves Warren, and the reason she’s blaming him is because she has to blame somebody. I think when she gets to the bottom of it all, she will realise that she blames herself.

"She’s got all this guilt and remorse for everything that happened in the Halloween Spooktacular and also everything that led up to Nico being the way she was. She doesn’t know what to do with it, and the easiest option is to have someone else to blame – and Warren is the soft target.

Warren discovers she has lied about her whereabouts, and also sees a photo of Sienna with another man – how does she explain herself? "Prince has a picture of her and a man in a Santa hat, but we don’t see who it is. Sienna’s been telling Warren that she’s been going to church as a way to deal with her grief, but actually, it’s been to impress Joel. So when Warren gets this photo, Sienna says it’s just a friend from the church.

"What happens after that is Sienna starts to receive threatening mail and these different things crop up, so the audience will be thinking, 'Has she met some nut job from the church, is it Sienna doing it herself, or is it Joel maybe?'"

What happens when Warren goes to a bar to try and track down the man Sienna says is stalking her? "Inadvertently, she ends up leading him to Joel, and that sparks up a conversation and talk of reuniting. He says, 'Me and my son are going to spend the day together; maybe we could have him over for Christmas.' Of course, that is Sienna’s worst nightmare.

"If Joel sees her and finds out who she really is, her plan is busted. They can’t all be in the same room at the same time, ever!"

Isn't Sienna not worried about her own safety? Warren’s a dangerous guy… "She’s really reckless right now; she doesn’t really care. In the past, her thought process would always come with, 'Well, my daughter will need me'. But she doesn’t care now – she’s out for revenge, and doesn’t care what happens to her. She’s willing to take the risk. It might be the end for her, but it’ll be worth it.

Could anything stop her plan? "In the past, we’ve seen her go to the brink of doing terrible things. She’s never killed anyone, to her credit; there’s something that will usually stop her, and I think deep down, she does have this conscience, and she does have these feelings for Warren. She gets to like Joel, she sees he’s a good guy and I think it’ll come down to a battle with herself as to whether she can actually go through with it."

It’s not long now until Christmas. How will the Hollyoaks cast be celebrating? "Jasmine Banks, who plays Esther, is organising our cast Secret Santa. We have a big Christmas tree in our green room and we do Secret Santa and then we have a party for the cast and crew. It’s a proper dressy up affair, and we normally have a band that do karaoke for us, because everyone’s a show-off here!

"Tam Wall (who plays Grace Black) is one to be stopped - she’s always like 'I’m not going to do it' and then five minutes in, she’s up. And I’ve heard a rumour that DFB (the cast’s nickname for Duncan James – 'Duncan from Blue') might do some singing, which would be a total treat for us all.

What are your own plans for Christmas? "I’m spending Christmas Eve in my own home with Nick (actor Nick Rhys, who played Lockie), my other half, then we’re going to our respective families on Christmas Day. We couldn’t come to a better conclusion – everybody wants to see Nick so we decided we’ll have our own Christmas Eve and then on Christmas morning, I’ll go to my mum and dad’s and he’ll go to his. I should arrive nicely in time for when lunch is ready!"

What’s on your Christmas list this year? "Kittens! But then you can’t get pets for Christmas. We found a stray cat recently and I was hoping we could keep her, but she’s been re-homed, so I’m more desperate than ever to get kittens. There’s a brilliant rescue centre in Liverpool and they’re always sending me these really sweet pictures. So far, common sense has prevailed, but I might lose it soon.

What present would you buy Sienna? "A family… Can you buy someone a family? She needs a family, she doesn’t have anybody. If she could buy her dad back and her daughter back, and Danny Mac back (who played Dodger) that would be good, but he’s too busy dancing."

What would you like for Sienna in 2017? "I’d like to see her be happy. I’d like to see her back with Warren. I think they’re a great couple. But it’s always hard in Hollyoaks; when characters find something that’s good, you never get to keep it for very long!"

Two grieving women with grudges against each other, Mercedes and Sienna had a rooftop showdown on Hollyoaks. Who came out on top?

There were harsh words and murderous threats when grieving Mercedes McQueen happened across equally distressed Sienna Blake on a rooftop on E4's Hollyoaks tonight.

Mercedes is mourning the death of her fiancee Joe Roscoe while Sienna is struggling to cope with the loss of daughter Nico, both of whom died in the Halloween spooktacular disaster.

Sienna was in a catatonic state as she slowly made her way to the hospital roof ready to jump, only to be met by an equally fraught Mercedes standing a few metres away from her.

Mercedes blames Nico for Joe’s death and threatened to push Sienna off the roof, but decided she didn't want to give Sienna the ‘easy way out’.

Instead, miraculously, the two women shared stories of the people they’ve lost and the experiences they’ve had and... called a TRUCE!

Meanwhile, Cindy and Jude recovered the dodgy money from Liam Donovan and in an emotional farewell, Jude confessed she was jealous of Cindy’s settled family life.

Cindy begged her mother to stay in the village, but Jude couldn't give up her glamorous lifestyle and left the village in a black limo while sipping Champagne and shedding a tear of regret.

Nico Blake may have perished in a fire in Hollyoaks' Halloween drama after Cameron sought revenge by starting a fire in the funfair maze

Serial killer teen Nico Blake appears to have died in the fire in the Hollyoaks Halloween funfair maze.

During tonight’s Hollyoaks on E4 (which screens on Channel 4, Tuesday at 6.30pm) viewers saw Cameron Campbell set fire to the fairground maze, knowing Nico Blake was inside and wanting revenge on her for almost killing his daughter, Peri.

However, he was unaware that Nico’s mum Sienna had followed her into the maze too.

Sienna was released from prison this week after taking the blame for killing her father, Patrick Blake, and was desperate to find the real murderer, Nico, before the police did...

Nico has also killed Trevor Royle and Carly Bradley.

Meanwhile, Cameron had put to malicious use a fire stick abandoned by Jesse Donovan, and started a blaze in the maze in full knowledge that Nico was inside.

Sienna found Nico in the closed maze and Warren realised Sienna was trapped inside after the fire started. He raced into the centre of the maze to find Sienna and Nico trapped underneath some fallen debris. Despite Sienna’s pleas to save her daughter first, Warren rescued the woman he loves, Sienna.

The episode ended with Warren pulling Sienna back from the inferno as the crowd watched the maze collapse with Nico still inside. Did she live or die?

Stars Anna Passey and Jamie Lomas have spoked about the draining, difficult task of filming  Hollyoaks' spectacular 'spooktacular' fire stunts.

The actors play couple Sienna Blake and Warren Fox, who are at the heart of the drama when Sienna's killer daughter Nico is ont he loose at the funfair.

Anna talked to What's on TV about filming: "It was really fun, we had a lot of fun doing it. Night shoots do a weird thing to you, you kind of kick into an odd madness when you're on your 17th night of working the weirdest hours. But at the same time really draining, the emotion of it, the content of it, it's a hard push..."

Jamie added: "Adrenaline takes us through a lot of it as well, you're doing big fire episodes. As an actor that's what you want to do."

Anna continued: "There's no tricks. We were really in the maze, it was really on fire, I was really kicking you. You don't realise until later you're quite bruised and sore. You really put a lot into it. It's really quite safely done, everywhere you look there is a fireman, but you really are this close to fire. It gets the heart pumping."

Jamie explained he's enjoying playing a new side to his dangerous character. "It's really refreshing for me to come back... [Warren] doesn't want to go back to prison. He's trying to turn over a new leaf. Will it last? No, I don't think so, but I really enjoy playing that side to him."

It's wedding time for Sienna and Ben on Hollyoaks, but the bride is hardly in a rush to walk down that aisle!

Naughty Sienna is still obsessed with her secret lover Trevor, who just happens to be a guest, which won't be at all awkward!

As Sienna makes her way to the venue, with Maxine as her bridesmaid,  she knows in her heart it's Trevor she wants to be with and she's marrying the wrong man.

How’s Sienna feeling in the run-up to the wedding?

“It’s a disaster from the start. She’s doing it for Nico [Persephone Swales-Dawson]. She thinks if she creates a stable family unit, she’ll calm down. She’s just praying she can get down that aisle, say ‘I do’ and smile. It will be difficult for her, especially with Trevor [Greg Wood] being there.”

Could she be happy with Ben?

“She did love Ben once. But from the moment Nico killed his daughter Carly, she knew it would never work. Sienna loves Trevor now, but he’s gone back to Grace.”

How does Nico feel about the wedding?

“She’s very happy Sienna’s going ahead with it. She thinks if her mum marries Ben, they’ll be a normal family.”

Tell us about the moment Sienna turns up at the church?

“She walks in and she sees Ben [Ben Richards] and Trevor squaring up to one another. Ben doesn’t want him at the wedding as they hate each other. Sienna’s so overwhelmed, she doesn’t even look at Ben. She just stares at Trevor. Part of her is hoping he’ll leap out of his seat and shout, ‘Stop! I love you!’”

What would Nico do if Sienna jilted Ben?

“Nico’s dangerous and Sienna knows that. There are no limits to what she will do.”

What are the chances of a happy-ever-after ending for Ben and Sienna?

“Nil, I think. Sienna doesn’t seem capable of that. It’s funny because I’ve seen lots of other characters in Hollyoaks get married in their nice dresses, having their hair done, and I thought it would never happen to me because nobody in their right mind would ever marry Sienna. But here I am.”

What’s in store for Sienna?

“Nothing stays secret in Hollyoaks and Sienna’s a big bag of secrets. Grace [Tamara Wall] and Trevor have their wedding coming up and you can just imagine what would happen if Grace found out about their affair… or if Nico and Ben did. Put it this way, she isn’t going to go home, unpack her wedding gifts and live a happy life.”

Fearing her own daughter Nico will try to kill her again, Sienna plans to leave Hollyoaks with secret lover Trevor. But will she get away? Anna Passey fears not, as she tells Soaplife…

Sienna’s first plan is to get Nico to confess to Carly’s murder so she can get help, right?

“Yes. She arranges a lunch and she asks Nico to go over what happened when Carly died. Trevor has convinced Sienna that the confession is the only way to get Nico [Persephone Swales-Dawson] the help she needs.”

But the plan fails. So then what?

“Sienna decides it would be best for everybody if she left the village. Trevor [Greg Wood] empties the safe and gets all this money and, although they don’t have a plan, they’re going to leave together.”

What does Sienna say when Nico finds her packing?

“Nico asks her where she’s going and she lies and says she’s joined a new gym.”

Is she worried about what will happen to Nico?

“She is, but she feels sure she’ll be safe with Ben [Ben Richards].”

How does Sienna feel about Ben?

“I’m not sure they ever had a great relationship. He was perfect on paper, but Sienna was always quite bored with him. Since his daughter Carly [Sophie Wise] was killed by Nico, their relationship’s been a big cover-up operation and Sienna knows it can never last.”

What’s her worst case scenario concerning Nico?

“Sienna’s convinced Nico’s dangerous and she’ll eventually kill her if she doesn’t act now. She’s already stabbed her and left her for dead. Sienna thinks she won’t walk away if there’s a next time.”

But leaving with Trevor? Really?

“When they first suggested Sienna was going to fall for Trevor, I couldn’t believe it. I’d never have put them together, but it works so well. They’re both outsiders, neither demands much from the other and they don’t feel the need to hide anything. It’s ended up being a sweet relationship between two oddballs.”

How does she feel about Trevor taking Curtis with him?

“That’s a bit of a sticking point, but Trevor doesn’t want to leave Curtis behind. He plans to return to Hollyoaks at some point to fight Grace [Tamara Wall] over his right to see him.”

Will they make it out of the together?

“Well, this is Hollyoaks and, most of the time, you’re not allowed to escape. There might be a few things that happen along the way that make it difficult. If Sienna’s forced to stay, things won’t be able to carry on as they are. There is definitely a lot of drama ahead.”

Hollyoaks’ Anna Passey reveals to Soaplife that she’s living with co-star Nick Rhys, how playing crazy Sienna can be embarrassing and why she’s the odd one out in her family…

In real-life, Anna Passey, 30, is nothing like psycho Sienna in Hollyoaks. Anna is close to her family and lives with fellow Hollyoaks star Nick Rhys, who plays love rat Lockie Campbell in the soap.

“Sadly, thanks to her upbringing, I don’t think Sienna can have a normal relationship with a decent person,” says Anna.

Is there a downside to playing such a crazy soap character?

“Not really - it’s so much fun. I did have a bad experience in Asda once. A lady in the fruit and veg aisle went ballistic about what I was doing to Nancy [Jessica Fox]. It was embarrassing as not everybody in Asda watches Hollyoaks and, to the unknowing eye, I might have looked like a home wrecker. I put my basket down and ran out.”

That does sound embarrassing!

“There was another time when I took my nephew to a Christmas market. He was about five at the time and I was at the height of my child-kidnapping story in Hollyoaks. I picked my nephew up and you could see people staring at me and thinking, ‘Oh my God, she’s pinched another kid!’”

What did you do before joining Hollyoaks?

“After doing English at university, I did a post grad course at a drama school in Camden, called The Bridge, where all the teachers are professional actors and directors who are not working on jobs – they rotate the staff. That’s how I got my agent and started working professionally.

"I did a handful of plays and I’ve done a couple of films, but this was my first proper TV job. I had auditioned for another part in Hollyoaks - I went for the role of Annalise Appleton [who was played by Tamaryn Payne] and I was really disappointed when I didn’t get it.”

How do you feel about dating a co-star? 

“I haven’t been out with an actor before and I never thought I would, but it’s nice to have someone who understands your working day. Doing this job makes me, at times, probably a bit more difficult than another job might. I do come home drained and it’s good to be with someone who gets it and will give me space and listen to me talk about work.”

Does it bother you when Lockie has passionate encounters with other characters?

“In every interview I have ever read with actors and actresses, they always say it’s not weird because it’s a job, but I find it so bizarre, especially as Lockie is making out with everybody all the time – these are my pals in the show. Jennifer [Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes] will come up to me and say, ‘I’ve been kissing your boyfriend all morning’. 

"I’ve been in relationships where I’ve told boyfriends that they shouldn’t get upset about it, but I feel different now the shoe is on the other foot. Nick and I do joke about it, too, though. When he’s kissing John Paul [James Sutton] on screen, I play it in slow motion to make him squirm!”

Are you pleased that Sienna and Lockie aren’t really involved with each other in Hollyoaks? 

“Yes. It would be a nightmare if we were acting together. We would both show off to such a terrible extent to each other. It’s a tricky balance when you work with somebody. It’s nice to check in for lunch then go off and do your separate work. I’d prefer to keep it that way as long as possible.”

What do you do to unwind after work?

“I really enjoy hot yoga by candlelight and I’ve become a big TV addict. I love a good box set and have just finished True Detective. I really love Bates Motel, too.

Are you happy at Hollyoaks?

“I never thought I would be here for this long as Sienna was only supposed to be in the show for a year. It’s such a lovely place to work and I don’t think I’ll ever get another role as interesting as Sienna.”

Who are your friends in the cast?

“I see a lot of Jeremy [Sheffield, who plays Patrick, Sienna’s dad] outside of work. He’s so naughty and fun in real life – the polar opposite of Patrick. I’m also good friends with Jessica [Ellis, who plays Tegan], Jessica [Fox, who plays Nancy] and Daisy [Wood-Davis, who plays Kim]. We do lots of nice things together.”

Hollyoaks actress Anna Passey has said she loves to mess with her new co-star Ben Richards about the soap’s outlandish storylines.

Anna plays Sienna Blake, whose past plots in the Channel 4 show have included kidnapping other characters, realising her child was fathered by her estranged twin who she had a one-night stand with, and pretending to be pregnant.

She told Inside Soap that she loved to drop in details of Sienna’s evil ways when talking Ben, who plays her new love interest Ben Bradley.

Richards' previous roles include Pc Nate Roberts in The Bill and Bruno Milligan in Footballers' Wives.

Anna said: “It’s quite funny because Ben didn’t really watch Hollyoaks before, so he’s not aware of all the ins and outs of the past storylines. So it’s quite good fun to mess with him on that front.

“I can just throw things into conversation about the time I had a baby with my twin brother, or the time I kidnapped people and locked them in the basement.

“It’s really funny to see his reaction to that.”

Will Sienna finally come face-to-face with her long-lost daughter, Nico?

Hollyoaks star and British Soap Awards winner Anna Passey has revealed her surprise that fans have warmed to Sienna Blake.

The actress, who scooped the award for Best Villian at the ceremony this year, told whatsontv.co.uk that there is "a lot of Sienna love at the moment".

Asked what she made of the fans' reaction to her character, Passey replied: "Amazingly they really love her now. I’m not quite sure how that’s happened, but there’s a lot of support for Sienna and I think this week we see her challenge her father for the first time."

Passey also revealed that she had not prepared a speech for the ceremony.

"I absolutely haven’t," she told us. "Normally I would lie and say that I haven’t but this time I genuinely haven’t. So wish me luck if I win!"

Hollyoaks star Anna Passey has revealed that many of the cast of the Channel 4 soap live beside each other, recreating the Hollyoaks village in real ife.

The north Londoner, who plays Sienna Blake in Hollyoaks and is nominated in the Villain of the Year category at Saturday's British Soap Awards, told What's on TV: "All the cast live within a couple of roads from each other. It's sort of just the done thing, you get a job in Hollyoaks you move to Sefton Park... It's really nice, everybody is really friendly."

She said at times it was like living in a real-life Hollyoaks.

"If you put cameras on that you'd get some brilliant drama, I'm sure," she said. "Everyone goes out for dinner and drinks and we're always at each other's houses. It's nice because I don't know anybody in Liverpool and I was so worried about uprooting my life, literally overnight, and living in a city I'd never been to..."

Hollyoaks actress Anna Passey has said she hopes to see her character Sienna Blake develop more after her arrest.

Sienna was arrested and sectioned recently following her unstable behaviour, which included beating up Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox), lying to Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) about being pregnant, and kidnapping Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins).

Anna explained: "She's been driven by other things, including her unhappy childhood and trying to fill quite a big void in her life. To see Sienna get some help and get to the bottom of the way she's behaved should be really satisfying for the viewers, and definitely for me playing it.

"I always hoped that Sienna wouldn't just be arrested and that would be that, as people need to see more than that. There is much more story to come where we'll start to see what she's really like."

Anna also hinted she may help to get revenge on her screen dad Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield), who has been abusing partner Maxine (Nikki Sanderson): "I've been watching Patrick and Maxine's story as a viewer and it's been great and really unnerving to watch. If they can get Sienna involved in that further down the line then I'd absolutely adore that.

"Because Sienna has been with Patrick her whole life and knows him better than anybody, she'd possibly be the person best equipped to help Maxine. But I'm not really sure what the plans are for that yet."

Hollyoaks viewers could also see Sienna meet her daughter in the coming year, who she has only just discovered is still alive.

Anna said: "It was a bit of a surprise, to be honest! I didn't know the full plan myself so when I heard that, I was absolutely over the moon.

"I thought it was brilliant and something that I didn't necessarily expect. I'm really glad that it's the case, because it leaves it wide open for a whole other part of the story in the future, which is very exciting for me."

Anna Passey reveals to Soaplife that Hollyoaks' Sienna will do anything to get baby Oscar – and Darren!

There are plenty of single men in Hollyoaks... Why doesn’t Sienna go after one of them?

"She’s never had boyfriends or normal relationships with people. She didn’t set out to bag herself a man. She fell in love with Oscar first. It was all about the baby, but then she noticed Darren. She’s never met anybody like him before. He and Oscar are all she wants."

So, she’ll go to any lengths to get rid of her love rival Nancy?

"Nancy came back from Canada determined to clean up her act, just as Sienna was talking to Darren about her feelings for him. She’s desperate to get her out of the picture. Sienna doesn’t think Nancy deserves Darren and Oscar. So Sienna’s going to make Darren believe Nancy is still an addict."

How?

"First of all, she spikes Nancy’s drink and, when that doesn’t work, she pushes Oscar’s pram into the road. It’s empty – Sienna is cradling Oscar – but Nancy doesn’t know that and her instincts kick in. She jumps in front of the car to grab the pushchair and gets run over…"

But Nancy’s not killed so Sienna doesn’t stop there…

"She tells Nancy to take a drugs test to prove to Darren that she’s clean. Of course, Sienna is drugging her so Nancy will fail the test."

But Darren says he doesn’t need to see a piece of paper to trust Nancy…

"And Sienna panics a little. She can come up with all sorts of tricks, but she can’t force Darren to change his mind about Nancy. That makes her a bit more desperate."

Desperate enough to do what?

"The next day Sienna drugs Nancy’s tea and puts Oscar on the floor, making it look as if he has fallen out of his cot. Darren comes in and is horrified. Sienna then gives him the results of Nancy’s positive drugs test."

But Nancy is on to her?

"Yes, Dr Browning explains that Sienna picked up her prescription. Nancy comes home and punches Sienna. She then asks Darren to choose: her or Sienna..."

Hollyoaks star Anna Passey doesn't think her character Sienna Blake could become a killer.

The barmaid has become quite a psychopath in her bid to steal Nancy Osborne's husband Darren and has a dangerous obsession with their baby son Oscar.

But Anna told Inside Soap magazine: "You can't move five steps in Hollyoaks village without running into a murderer, can you? I honestly couldn't tell you if Sienna will become a killer.

"My instinct is that she isn't, because she always believes what she's doing is the right thing.

"With her upbringing, she isn't an out-and-out evil person. She really believes she's got her reasons to do what she does.

"But you never know - this is Hollyoaks!"

While Sienna may be confident enough to try and act as a real mother to Oscar, Anna admits she was nervous acting with the babies who play him at first.

She said: "We don't really have babies in my family and so I was a bit nervous the first time, but they're adorable.

"It's a highlight to work with them, definitely."
