The devious rapist has been framed by the six women involved in Keanu Taylor's death last Christmas. Now Dean's fighting to prove his innocence after they lied to pin the murder on him.

The shocking event that saw star witness alcoholic Linda Carter do a runner left The Six reeling and now they are barely holding it together. 

Determined to find Linda and bring her back to the court, Johnny Carter and Phi Mitchell join forces to track her down.

When things fell apart in court, Stacey had to pull herself together for her daughter Lily Slater. Teen mum Lily is desperate to put on a good bash for her baby Charli's first birthday and needs Stacey to help.

Preoccupied by everything that's been going on, Stacey is devastated when she burns Charli's birthday cake, upsetting Lily.

Meanwhile, Eve Unwin has no idea what her fiancee Suki Panesar has got herself involved in and she rails her at her for deciding to skip Charli's party.

After suffering a psychotic break brought on by her horror over the six women's dark secret that a murdered Keanu Taylor is buried under the cafe floor, Denise was sectioned.

Bowing to Johnny's demands, Stacey asks to see Denise, intending to convince her to return home where she and the other women can keep an eye on her.

In hospital, Denise reveals that she's stopped seeing hallucinations of Keanu, but she wants to stay put. A frustrated Stacey tries to talk Denise into coming back home, claiming she needs her loved ones around her.

Denise's husband Jack Branning walks in and is stunned to see Stacey. He demands to know why she's secretly come to see Denise.

Is the murder secret about to be blown?

George Knight is torn apart by adoptive dad Eddie Knight's ultimatum after he refused to give a character statement in Eddie's upcoming murder trial for the killing of George's birth father Henry Kofi Asari.

When George discovered the horrific truth, he wanted nothing more to do with Eddie or his adoptive mum Gloria Knight but a manipulative Eddie suggested if he comes good for him in court, he'll give George contact details for his birth mother.

After talking things through with fiancee Elaine Peacock, George is no closer to resolving his dilemma. As desperate as he is to find his real mum, he can't stomach supporting Eddie.

Wanting to help with his pain, Elaine asks Johnny Carter what the legal implications will be for George if he gives a statement lying that Eddie is of good character.

George finally finds a surprising confidante in Elaine's daughter Linda Carter, and he makes a decision, heading to court for the trial.

In court, Gloria seems strangely distracted by a mysterious woman who takes a seat in the crowd as George approaches the stand...

Could she be George's real mum?

Eve Unwin's head is in a spin after partner Suki Panesar asked her to move in with her in the Panesar family home. 

The pair have been living apart ever since Stacey Slater kicked Suki out of the Slater house following a massive argument.

With Suki's ex Nish Panesar now kicked out of the house by his family after trying to strangle her, Suki's been relieved to be back home, but she's missing Eve desperately.

Eve finds herself confiding in Penny Branning about Suki's request she move in with her, explaining she fears living with Suki's family would be a disaster.

Penny gives Eve food for thought and she finally talks to Suki about her fears.

Can they resolve this hitch in their relationship?

Stacey Slater has been getting increasingly worried about the state of Denise Fox's mind in the wake of the horrific events at Christmas. Ever since Stacey, Denise and four other Walford women conspired to cover up Keanu Taylor's murder, Denise has been falling apart.

Concerned that Denise could give away their killer secret, Stacey has been trying to keep an eye on her. But matters are NOT helped by the fact that Stacey's having an affair with Denise's copper hubby Jack Branning! 

Haunted by images of burying Keanu's body under the floor of the cafe, Denise has been seeing the ghost of Keanu and after more hallucinations, Denise is convinced that Keanu is back from the dead to confront her. 

Denise's stepdaughter Amy Mitchell has realised that she isn't right and, knowing that Stacey suffers from bipolar disorder, she's questioned her about the symptoms.

Stacey pays Denise a visit to check out what's going on with her and although Denise tries to cover, she eventually lets her guard down. 

When Denise reveals what she's been seeing and hearing, Stacey realises straight away that she's having a psychotic episode. Alarmed, she tells Denise that she needs to get professional help right away.

Linda Carter is struggling to hold it together after her shocking revelation to son Johnny Carter. 

Aspiring lawyer Johnny returned to Walford when he discovered that Linda was on a downward spiral, not realising she's been torn apart by the horror of keeping the secret that she killed Keanu Taylor and conspired to bury him under the cafe floor.

With her drinking out of control, Johnny promised to support her and the emotion of seeing her son led her into a dangerous confession...

Reeling from Linda's words, Johnny is torn apart by guilt for not being around for his mum when she needed him most.

Consoling her upset son, Linda encourages him not to blame himself and she promises him that she will knock the drinking on the head. 

When Johnny promises Linda that he'll be there for her as she gets sober, she is touched.

It looks like Johnny is going to be in the Square for a good while longer...

George Knight doesn't know which way to turn after having a heartbreaking conversation with his mum Gloria Knight. 

Recent family revelations have shocked him to the core and left him not knowing who he is anymore.

Stacey Slater prepares for her granddaughter baby Charli Branning Slater's guardianship hearing, feeling fairly confident that everything will be sorted out in the family's favour.

With Charli's teen parents Lily Slater and Ricky Branning feeling nervous, Stacey doesn't want anything to go wrong. 

But then there's Ricky's troubled and strung out step mum Denise Fox...

Denise is losing it over the women of Walford's killer secret, with Keanu Taylor's body buried beneath the floor of the cafe alongside Denise's dropped necklace.

When she finds out that Nish Panesar had a run in with Jack Branning she's rattled and desperately questions Stacey as they go into the courtroom. Frustrated, Stacey tries to shut her up, telling her that Nish and Jack clashed over Nish's wife Suki Panesar. 

Unable to deal with more stress, Denise rushes off just as they're about to go into the hearing. When Chelsea Fox finds her terrified mum at home, she begs her to go to the doctor. 

Jack has had it with his wife's erratic behaviour and after the hearing he goes to the Slaters for a party. Concerned that Denise is about to land all of them in trouble, Stacey asks Jack how Denise is doing. 

At home, Amy Branning does her best to soothe her step mum as she cries out in her sleep. 

Jack isn't there...

Alfie Moon feels humiliated after wetting himself in the Queen Vic. His treatment for prostate cancer meant he had an accident before he could get to the toilet.

Feeling for her friend, Linda Carter encourages Alfie to open up to Billy Mitchell and Ian Beale about what he's going through. She insists that Alfie needs to let the people that love him give him some support, as dealing with cancer is tough enough without trying to go it alone.

Struggling to put his troubles into words, Alfie finally manages to tell them. They are shocked but all make it clear to a grateful Alfie that they will be there for him all the way.

Denzel Danes is left humiliated after being bullied by Logan and his gang outside McKlunky's. After Yolande Trueman tried to step in, she tripped over and was filmed by the laughing boys.

With the video up online, it clearly shows that Denzel wasn't able to protect Yolande and he feels mortified and angry. When Nugget Gulati teases him about the incident, Denzel loses it and lashes out.

Nugget's mum Priya Nandra-Hart splits them up and tells Nugget's dad Ravi Gulati about their scuffle. Realising the boys need a bit of focus, Ravi invites them to the Boxing Den to find a healthy way to challenge their emotions.

Also, Jean Slater makes it clear to Dean Wicks she's looking out for his daughter Jade Green for her mum Shabnam Masood's sake and she wants nothing to to do with him.

Stacey Slater is finding it difficult to let her guard down after her horrifying stalking ordeal at the hands of Theo Hawthorne. Although he pleaded guilty to stalking and attempted rape, he's not behind bars.

The dark memories come flooding back when Theo sends her a sinister Christmas card. With her friend Eve Unwin missing, Stacey worries that he may have something to do with her disappearance.

After talking things through with Suki Panesar, Stacey heads to the police station to report her suspicions about Theo. She's left frustrated when they tell her that there's nothing they can do.

Furious, Stacey makes a big mistake by calling Theo and threatening that he'll regret it if he's hurt Eve.

Back home, Stacey is alarmed to finds the door on the latch and she's grateful when Jack Branning turns up and checks the house for her. He reassures her that no one is inside and that Theo is far away and can't hurt her.

When Stacey lets slip that she called Theo and threatened him, Jack is horrified! He warns her that she's made a very stupid move but Stacey is defiant.

Meanwhile, Denise Fox is feeling down about her marriage to Jack. Things haven't been good between them for a long time after family troubles and Denise's near affair with Ravi Gulati pushed them apart.

Denise's sister Kim Fox encourages her to put a bit effort in and she gifts her with a child-free evening and some sexy new underwear to try and put the spark back!

Despite Denise's best intentions, it's clear that there's not going to be any romance on the cards for the couple when Jack overhears Denise talking to Priya Nandra-Hart about her dalliance with Ravi.

Stacey is feeling sorry for herself after her row with Jack about Theo and she heads to the Vic to drown her sorrows with Kat Mitchell. Guilt soon gets the better of her and she realises she needs to apologise to Jack for her harsh words.

Stacey heads to Jack's house and tells him that she needs to talk. Are things about to hot up between them?

Ravi Gulati is on pins following the disappearance of Eve Unwin. After finding out about Suki Panesar's affair with Eve, Ravi's dad Nish Panesar made him take a bound and gagged Eve to the woods to do away with her.

When Eve struggled free, she convinced Ravi not to kill her and he agreed, in exchange for her disappearing for good and not letting Nish know that he betrayed him.

It's been a while since Eve went missing and after pressure from Stacey and Jack, the police are on the case and pushing Ravi hard. 

He shares his worries with Nish and they agree to come up with a plan to put Stacey and Jack off the scent.

Also, Sharon Watts has words with Linda Carter after letting her know the true paternity of Albie's dad, worried she'll let the secret out!

Stacey Slater is in bits after drunkenly admitting to copper Jack Branning that she planted evidence on would-be rapist Theo Hawthorne.

She can't believe she let the truth slip out after guarding the secret so carefully!

When stalker Theo got out of a stalking protection order by gaslighting the court into thinking he was in a relationship with Stacey, she told him she wanted nothing to do with him - EVER!

A deluded and dangerous Theo was so incensed by Stacey's words that he vowed never to let her go, and he broke into her house and tried to rape her.

When Freddie Slater walked in on the attack, already devastated about finding out his own father was a rapist, he saw red.

A massive fight ensued and a raging Freddie ended up grabbing an iron and smashing Theo over the head, nearly killing him.

Desperate for Freddie not to go to prison for attempted murder, Stacey and best friend Eve Unwin cooked up a scheme to plant a wrench on an unconscious and bloodied Theo, then claim that Theo attacked Freddie first.

Jack is horrified by Stacey's confession and told her that because of his position, he'll have to tell his bosses the truth about Theo's attack.

Explaining why they did what they did, she begs him to keep quiet for her sake.

In recent months, Jack has softened towards Stacey and they have a real connection. Moved by her words, he reluctantly agrees to keep her bombshell secret.

After a heart-to-heart about the past, Stacey is touched by Jack's support.

Stacey Slater is severely shaken after attending Theo Hawthorne's plea hearing. The stalker was up in court after attacking her and trying to rape her. Against her mum Jean Slater's advice, Stacey attended court.

To calm her nerves after the hearing, Stacey downs the drinks but soon she's very drunk and emotional! Ever since Stacey's stalker terror was revealed, local cop Jack Branning has been very supportive.

Stacey and Jack share a grandchild, little Charli, and some early troubles over the baby's upbringing has seen them getting closer in recent months.

When Stacey tearfully reveals she's still terrified about Theo, Jack takes her back to his. His ex - and his son Ricky Branning's mum - Sam Mitchell is currently staying at his house and raises an eyebrow when he brings her in.

Sam points out that the Slaters are not a good family to get involved with but Jack brushes her concerns aside.

Jack is hit by a bombshell when Stacey confesses that she planted a wrench on an unconscious Theo following the rape attack to make it look like he attacked Freddie first.

Nish Panesar is filled with fury after seeing the Minute Mart CCTV footage where he witnessed his wife Suki Panesar kissing her secret lover Eve Unwin!

Raging over the betrayal, he smashes up the shop then storms across the Square to confront Suki.

Son Ravi Gulati sees Nish in a sate and quickly intervenes, taking him to Walford East to get cleaned up.

After telling Ravi what Suki has been up to, he grimly insists he's going back home to find out the truth from his wife.

Is Suki in danger?

Keanu Taylor is getting edgy about the fact that mum Karen Taylor has kept the fake kidnap ransom money. The pair came up with a scheme to have Albie 'kidnapped' to stop Sharon Watts taking him out of the Square.

Wanting to make things right by Sharon and worried that his access to baby Albie could be destroyed forever, his tells Karen she needs to return the cash.

Karen's hatred of Sharon runs deep and she refuses to give back the money. When Mitch Baker interrupts the argument he wants to know what's going on, as Keanu makes a quick exit.

Unable to hide the lies any longer, Karen admits to Mitch that she and Keanu staged the kidnap, leaving him stunned!

Horrified by Karen's actions, he insists she give the money back to Sharon.

Will Mitch talk her round?

While Theo was trying to rape Stacey, Freddie Slater walked in to hear Stacey's screams and launched himself at Theo, whacking him around the head with an iron.

After Eve Unwin helped Stacey stage the scene to make it look like Freddie retaliated against Theo in self-defence, Freddie escaped the law while Theo found himself facing prison.

It's the day of Theo's plea hearing and although reluctant to come face-to-face with him, Stacey realises how worried her daughter Lily Slater is about Theo resuming his reign of terror. 

Deciding she needs to do something to insure he's put away, Stacey goes to the meeting.

Steeling herself to play a part, Stacey lies to Theo that if he pleads guilty to the charges, they can finally be together after he's done his time.

But she's left terrified by Theo's reaction...

Has he put herself and her family in even more danger?

Suki Panesar has been desperate to get out of her marriage to Nish Panesar ever since he returned from a long stretch in prison.

Matters have been complicated after she fell in love with former lawyer Eve Unwin and Suki and Eve started a secret affair. 

Suki wasn't ready to come out publicly, leaving Eve frustrated that they couldn't be a proper couple.

When Suki's son Vinny Panesar found out about the affair, he blackmailed her into dropping Eve but when he realised how unhappy his mum was, he encouraged her to follow her heart.

After deciding to leave Nish and asking Eve to go with her, however, things have gone awry. When she finds out that newcomer Priya Nandra-Hart knows what she's been up to, she panics!

Desperate to keep Priya quiet, she offers her £2000 to keep what she knows to herself.

Priya's no fool and realising she can get more out of Suki, she tells Suki if she adds another £1000 on top, they have a deal!

Thinking quick, Suki steals money from the family's call centre business and hands it to Priya.

But Nish is watching the exchange...

Karen Taylor is feeling more than a little flush after nabbing all the ransom money from baby Albie's faked kidnap! 

Her son Keanu Taylor is fuming that Karen has refused to give the money back to Albie's unwitting mum Sharon Watts and it's resulted in the pair of them falling out.

When Mitch Baker arranges a surprise birthday party for Karen in the Queen Vic, she starts splashing the cash, leaving Mitch suspicious. 

He puts it to the back of his mind and concerned that Karen is still not speaking to Keanu, Mitch determines to reconcile them.

After being introduced to the geography teacher by Freddie Slater, Stacey was happy to let him into her life. She had NO idea that Theo was secretly paying for private chats of her via her Secret Cam account. 

When Theo finally revealed his true colours, Stacey was left terrified, especially after he moved in next door to her. In a desperate attempt to protect herself and her family, she took him to court to get a Stalking Protection Order taken out on him.

Instead of being warned off, after the hearing Theo is even more determined than ever to get what he wants. 

He makes it clear that the magistrate's ruling changes nothing and he persists with his delusion that they are in love and meant to be together!

Stacey has done her best to keep herself safe from Theo, changing the locks on the doors and making sure everything is bolted from the inside at all times.

Freddie Slater is still traumatised by his confrontation with his biological father Graham Foster. After trying to get him to admit that he'd raped Freddie's mum Little Mo Slater, Freddie was devastated when Graham called her a liar.

Shocked that Graham could be so cold about what happened, an upset Freddie confides in Anna Knight that he fears he shares the same DNA as a monster.

Anna does her best to reassure her friend that he's a kind and gentle soul and nothing like his rapist father. Still feeling full of guilt over betraying his best mate Bobby Beale by sleeping with his long term crush Anna, Freddie vows to make things right.

Freddie's day goes from bad to worse, however. Far from fixing things with Bobby, he instead ends up in an altercation with a stranger followed by a massive row with Stacey!

But as it was her word against his, Stacey was left without any means of getting rid of him. Things got even worse when the deluded Geography teacher then moved in next door! 

Despite warnings from Stacey's furious ex Martin Fowler, Theo has been playing a clever game to make sure he doesn't get picked up by the police.

After Stacey found out that Billy Mitchell had been sent saucy pictures of her from her Secret Cam account, she knew that Theo was behind it. But when Martin threatened Theo, he calmly told the pair that if they didn't back off, he'd report them.

Getting nowhere by official means, Stacey is at a loss over what to do, as both she and Martin are concerned that Theo's behaviour could escalate and become really dangerous.

Deciding on turning to people power, Stacey heads to the community centre to call on her friends and neighbours for support.

Ravi Gulati is getting increasingly desperate as he looks for his missing son Nugget Gulati. The teenager ran away after finding out some horrifying home truths about his killer dad.

It's been days now and despite reporting Nugget missing to the police, Ravi has had no luck in finding his son and it's tearing him apart.

Although Denise Fox feels bad about Nugget's disappearance, Denise's hatred for Ravi runs deep and she goes too far when she's talking to Nugget's best friend Denzel Danes.

After letting her real feelings about Ravi slip out, Denise deeply upsets Denzel.

Hubby Jack Branning realises that Denise has been under a lot of strain and instead of reprimanding her, he suggests that she take a break and have a few days away from the Square.

Cindy Beale and Ian Beale are feeling elated as their business plans look all set to go ahead. 

After finding out that Cindy's ex George Knight has sold their bar in Marbella, Cindy was straight on it and demanded her rightful share of the cash!

Although George has tried to keep things civil, his fiancee Elaine Knight has struggled to keep her silence. 

When Cindy and Ian come into the Vic to toast to the future, she can barely contain her anger!

Alfie Moon is all geared up for his first day at his new job at the bookies. 

The former barman found himself out of work when the Vic's new landlady Elaine Peacock took a dislike to Alfie and fired him and it's been a struggle getting work ever since.

After being left miserable following countless knock backs from job applications, he was elated to finally be taken on at the bookies but he's looking forward to his first day.

Things don't go to plan, however, when he accidentally winds up his new boss Olga!

Determined to turn things around, Alfie asks Freddie Slater and Patrick Trueman to stage a mock fight so he can break it up.

Alfie's plan works like a dream and Olga is impressed that Alfie can handle tricky customers!

Kim Fox is chuffed that her mental health advocacy seems to be working out well and it's given her something to focus on. 

She's coming to terms with her anxiety and PTSD that have plagued her since her car crash and the coping strategies shared by her therapist really seem to be helping.

When she catches Denzel Danes fighting with girlfriend Amy Mitchell, Kim steps in. Amy is upset that Denzel has been looking at other girls online.

Kim encourages the teenagers to have an honest conversation about their feelings so they can come to a resolution.

The conversation also prompts Kim to look at how she communicates and she resolves to be more real with her online fans.

As Stacey assures Martin that her mystery client is probably some "sad old man", Theo Hawthorne is sitting nearby eating his sandwiches.

Creepy teacher Theo has been secretly paying Stacey for Secret Cam dates while pretending to be her friend.

Overhearing Stacey's words, Theo is silently fuming and it's not good news for Stacey...

She's left stunned when her private client makes a shocking sexual request and she has NO idea that it's Theo.

Things get even worse when Martin makes an upsetting discovery on her laptop and the situation blows up.

Later, Stacey gets another message from her client, who makes it clear he knows all sorts of things about her private life. 

Eve Unwin warns Stacey that her client must be someone she knows and she is TERRIFIED...

Kim Fox tells an alarmed Howie Danes that she's going to talk about her mental health struggles on her Kimfluencer channel.

When it's clear he disapproves, a hurt Kim accuses him of not being happy with the changes she's making in her attitude to life.

Keen to reassure her, Howie insists that he thinks her investment in getting well is amazing and he's only concerned about Kim's vulnerability after suffering so much with her PTSD and anxiety.

He points out that some people online can be really nasty and he doesn't want her to get hurt.

Alfie Moon is down in the dumps trying to get himself a job after failing at every turn in the Square. 

He was left struggling financially after new Queen Vic landlady Elaine Peacock fired him from his bar work job back in May before the arrival of Elaine's fiance George Knight and his daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight.

Always looking on the bright side, chippie worker Freddie Slater encourages Alfie to use the power of positive thinking to turn around his fortunes.

Taking Freddie's words to heart, he tries not to dwell on the fact he's been turned down by a raft of local employers.

Alfie's go at 'manifesting' good luck seems to do the trick when he's contacted by the bookies!

Their first choice candidate turned out to be a no show, and as second choice, they offer him the job instead.

After upsetting Lily, she then gets into the bad books with Freddie Slater when she makes an insensitive comment after he says he wants to get into Uni.

Teacher Theo Hawthorne manages to smooth things over between the pair after talking to his former pupil. But he takes his mission to do a good deed for Stacey too far when he gives Lily the trainers that she wanted.

The schoolgirl is absolutely over the moon when he reveals he has a mate who owns a sports shop and agreed to sort him out.

Stacey is fuming that Theo has gone against her over Lily. She insists that Lily can't keep the expensive shoes as it would be unfair on the other kids.

Theo, however, doesn't listen and he later gives them to Lily anyway.

Has he made a huge mistake?

Suki Panesar is horrified after husband Nish Panesar is charged with ABH following her shock fall down the stairs. Ravi Gulati is sure that Suki ratted on his dad and he is fuming!

It's clear that Suki wasn't to blame, as she then accuses Eve Unwin of getting Nish banged up.

Suki has bigger problems to tackle, however, when her son Vinny Panesar storms in, armed with the knowledge that she had a suitcase packed to leave before the accident.

Without the real truth to go on, he accuses her of plotting with Eve to get rid of his dad so she can leave him for another man!

Will Vinny find out that Eve is Suki's secret lover?

Kathy Beale has had a few ups and downs in her relationship with Rocky Cotton, not least finding out that he had a wife he 'forgot' to tell her about before he proposed!

With things now out in the open about Rocky's very estranged ex Jo Cotton and the divorce proceedings in hand, Kathy finally feels she can get down to the serious business of planning their nuptials.

She's already had her eye on a great dress, so her outfit is in hand, but there's a few wrinkles to iron out over their guest list.

Kathy makes an announcement about who she wants at her wedding.

Freddie Slater's competitive streak is revealed as the Queen Vic prepares for a pub quiz.

Even though he recently admitted how much he struggled in school and has worries about being though of as 'stupid', he's still determined to win the quiz.

Amy Mitchell seems to be going off the rails again and her dad Jack Branning and step-mum Denise Fox despair!

Stacey Slater tries to put aside her worries about her mounting debt to violent loan shark Shiv, as her daughter Lily Slater needs her support.

It's a pregnant Lily's 20-week scan and she's feeling nervous as she doesn't not what to expect. The tweenager fell pregnant after a mistaken first attempt at sex with schoolfriend Ricky Mitchell. Stacey does her best to calm her daughter's fears, promising she'll be right there with her.

There's drama when Ricky freaks out after his mum Sam Mitchell makes an ill-judged comment about kids ruining your social life. After Stacey finds him in pieces, he tells her he can't be a dad.

The scan goes well and Lily tells her mum she'd like to have a 'gender reveal' party. As she agrees to the party, Stacey sees that Shiv is calling her and she ignores the call.

Stacey is horrified when she finds Shiv has got into her house and is waiting for her in the kitchen. She's left terrified when he makes a sinister suggestion about how she could repay her debt...

Stacey is saved from whatever Shiv is threatening when Eve Unwin suddenly bursts in and launches herself at him. Shiv warns Stacey he wants all the money he's owed by tomorrow, before slinking out of the house.

Nugget Gulati is alarmed by the sound of angry battering on the front door. It's a furious Denise Fox, who is looking for Nugget's dad Ravi Gulati and she's out for blood! 

After opening the door, a shaken Nugget tells Denise that his dad isn't home. Storming over to Walford East, Denise confronts Ravi over her daughter Chelsea Fox giving him an alibi after his arrest the previous week.

As things kick off between the pair and they air their grievances over their secret fling, they hear a plate smashing somewhere in the restaurant.

Has someone overheard them discussing their affair?

Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin are back from their business trip after secretly using the time for romantic getaway. 

Eve and Suki have been having an on-off affair since before Suki's husband Nish Panesar got out of prison. The chance for them to go to Leeds together on business saw the affair VERY much back on!

It's not long before their love bubble is burst by Suki's controlling husband Nish Panesar and Suki is forced to return to being the dutiful wife.

With Nish's birthday coming up, his son Vinny Panesar asks Eve to help plan a surprise party. When Vinny lets slip that Nish got him out of the house so he could have some alone time with Suki, Eve is horrified...

After having such a passionate time away with Suki, she's worried that Nish is intent on coercing Suki into going to bed with him.

Also, Kim Fox is desperate to get Howie Danes to forgive her for the car crash that saw his son Denzel Danes rushed to hospital. But he can't get past the fact that she nearly killed his son!

After taking various handouts from family, including Kat Slater and Lily's step dad Martin Fowler, her pride stopped her from taking any more. But going to a loan shark was always going to be a bad idea...

After getting together the money to pay off Shiv, she's relieved at the prospect of having him out of her hair. But she's left stunned when after she hands over the cash, he demands another £200 — by tomorrow!

When Stacey is obviously reluctant to hand over anything else to the dangerous criminal, he menacingly threatens her with violence.

How far will Stacey go to find the cash?

Denise Fox has been trying to distract husband Jack Branning from his investigation into Ravi Gulati. 

Worried that he may find out about her illicit meet up with ex-con Ravi, when Jack is up all night working on the case she begs him to take some time off.

Despite losing his access to the investigation via Denise, Ravi has come up with another plan, sending flirty texts to Denise's daughter Chelsea Fox.

Chelsea is completely oblivious to what Ravi and Denise got up, let alone the fact that Jack is in the middle of a police investigation into him!

When Denise asks Chelsea to come over for a family games night, Chelsea's housemate Felix Baker does a bit of stirring and suggests Chelsea should bring a plus one. 

As soon as Ravi finds out, he invites himself along as her guest.

Denise and Jack are HORRIFIED when Chelsea turns up with Ravi but as they both have secrets about Ravi, neither of them can find a way to tell him to get out.

As the night progresses, a smug Ravi delights in how uncomfortable Jack and Denise are and he starts to make digs...

Zack Hudson is relieved when Whitney Dean agrees to finally have a talk with him after a momentous week, including the unfortunate mix up  when Zack did a runner after Whitney kissed him!

After meeting up in the Vic, the couple put aside their differences to have a proper heart-to-heart.

With all their issues now out on the table, they have a big decision to make about their future.

When Stacey's mum Jean Slater discovers that she's got a load of spare money to splash, she wants to know where it's come from.

Considering Stacey's been completely skint for some time, Jean correctly guesses that Stacey must have stolen the money from the office cleaning job they were on.

Although Stacey lies to Jean that the money is legit, the conversation with her mum leaves her rattled.

After her pregnant daughter Lily Slater gets into a fight at school, it's a wake-up call to remind her of her responsibilities. 

She's already been in prison twice before, most recently after Stacey was accused of assaulting former friend Ruby Allen. 

Knowing that if she's caught for stealing, she's almost certain to go down again, she decides she needs to return the money.

Confessing the truth to Jean, she asks for her help in distracting the office security guard so she can replace it in the tin.

When things don't go quite to plan, Stacey is horrified as police officer Callum Highway comes round and tells her he needs her to come to the police station...

Is Stacey going back to jail?

Denise Fox is in a state over Ravi Gulati's blackmail. The ex-convict is being investigated by the police and he's determined to get Denise to help him out.

Ever since she rejected him following their steamy flirtation, he's been pushing her to find out what her copper husband Jack Branning has on him.

A worried Denise goes to open up Jack's laptop to try and find out what he knows but she's interrupted when she gets a call from her stepdaughter Amy Branning's school after she gets in a fight.

Realising that the only way she get her power back is by calling Ravi's bluff, she confronts him and tells him to do his worst, as she's not going to betray her husband.

Left shaken after her encounter with Ravi, the weight of her betrayal gets to her. She breaks down in front of her sister Kim Fox, telling her that she's been letting Jack and her family down.

Lola Pearce Brown has been working on a brain tumour awareness fundraiser but she's not feeling her best. 

When she zones out a couple of times while husband Jay Brown and daughter Lexi Pearce are trying to talk to her, they are both left worried.

Jay and Lexi encourages Lola to get checked out at hospital but she stubbornly refuses. When she zones out yet again, Jay insists on taking her to the hospital and is relieved when she agrees.

Lola isn't Jay's only worry, as he can see that Lexi is really struggling to cope with the strain of her mum's illness. 

He encourages Lola to book Lexi in with a counsellor but she snaps back that she can help her own daughter, leaving Jay despairing.

Also, Freddie Slater is worried about how much the Slater family are struggling and he comes up with a money-making scheme.

The single mum has been struggling for cash and the bap van in the market hasn't been making her enough money to cover all the bills.

But working nights as well as doing her day job is proving to be exhausting. After a job cleaning up a particularly messy office, she is dead on her feet.

There's no rest to be had, however, as she needs to open up the bap van. She's so tired that she ends up burning her hand as she rushes to get things ready.

Heading to the clinic to get it treated, she admits to Sonia Fowler that she's struggling.

Too tired to be keeping her worries to herself, she confesses that not only is she worrying about where the next meal will come from, she's also feeling guilty about not giving her kids enough of her time.

Will Sonia offer Stacey some support?

Callum Highway has been left in a dilemma in his new role as Trainee Detective Constable. 

Husband Ben Mitchell realises that something is up with Callum and he probes him to find out what's going on.

With a lot on his mind, Callum is grateful for some wise advice from Ben and he makes a big decision...

After daughter Ash Panesar encouraged Nish to give Suki back some more responsibility in the family businesses, Nish reluctantly agreed.

When her pregnant daughter Lily Slater breaks the news that she needs a new school uniform, Stacey tries to hide her despair, but she wonders where she's going to get the cash from.

With Whitney Dean going through such a terrible time after losing her unborn baby, it gives Stacey pause for thought, however. 

Instead of being consumed by her troubles, she realises that the most important thing is to have a happy and healthy family around her.

Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson are struggling to bear up after losing their unborn daughter, who was sadly diagnosed with a chromosomal syndrome.

As they prepare to leave the hospital, they end up clashing over leaving little 'Peach'. They pair have further stress when they find out that their daughter's existence isn't legally recognised, as she didn't reach 24 weeks.

A desperate Zack heads to the hospital faith room to try and deal with his grief, but he only ends up more agitated by the unthinking comments of an expectant father.

Whitney has been reluctant to spend time with Peach but after speaking to the nurse, she agrees to go with Zack to spend a final tender moment with their daughter.

Back in the Square, Sonia Fowler really feels for Whitney and Zack over their loss. She sets up a condolence box for the Walford residents to contribute to.

Struggling to find the words to write to Whitney and Zack, Sonia viists Lola Pearce, explaining how she's finding it difficult.

Will Lola put aside her own worries to help her?

Stacey Slater has been doing her best to hold it together ever since her 12-year-old daughter Lily Slater revealed that she was pregnant to schoolfriend Ricky Mitchell.

As various family members on both sides have got involved, including Ricky's volatile dad Jack Branning and mum Sam Mitchell, it's been tough not letting the shocking situation descend into all out war.

Now, with Lily's dad Ryan Malloy back in Walford after his sister Whitney Dean let on that his daughter was having a baby, Stacey has even more drama to juggle.

Taking Lily to her first scan, Stacey is furious when Sam, Ricky and Ryan all turn up uninvited. She was hoping to try and make the experience as calm as possible for Lily, not turn it into a spectacle.

After Ryan drops a bombshell on Stacey, she is left rattled. During the scan, Lily and Ricky are overawed to see their baby.

Things soon descend into a row, however, as words are exchanged between Stacey and Ryan and they are asked to leave the scan room.

Back home, Lily confronts her mum about how she spoke to Ryan, saying she doesn't want Stacey to be so mean to him. 

Stacey points out that although Ryan is her biological father, her stepdad Martin Fowler is the one who has been there for her all her life.

Can Stacey and Ryan put aside their differences to support their daughter?

Linda Carter has had a particularly tough time the last few days, struggling to deal with a Valentine's Day without her long-lost love Mick Carter.

After a bad night, Linda gets more worrying news when she gets a call from arch nemesis Janine Butcher's lawyer, who informs her that Janine wants to push forward with selling husband Mick's half of the Vic.

Revealing to her friend Sharon Watts what Janine is planning to do, Linda points out that it will leave her in an impossible situation. Sharon sits down with Linda in the cafe to try to thrash out a plan that will allow Linda to keep the Vic.

It soon becomes clear that Linda can't afford to buy out Janine, leaving her no option but to sell up. 

Sharon doesn't want to see her friend have to give up on her home and her livelihood and she makes her a VERY tempting offer...

Stacey Slater is prepared for a fight when Jack Branning demands a meeting with her and her Martin Fowler to talk about their pregnant daughter Lily Slater.  

Jack has found out that his son Ricky Mitchell has promised to be a dad to his baby with Lily.

The schoolfriends are only 12-years-old and Jack is not having any of it, as he was expecting Lily not to go ahead with her pregnancy.

Jack's wife Denise Fox is uneasy about him going in guns blazing, advising him to be cautious in how he approaches the Slater family. But Jack won't listen to Denise's wise words and instead demands that as Lily's parents, Stacey and Martin need to talk some sense into her.

When he later bumps into Lily in McKlunky's, he lays out exactly how tough it will be to be a teen mum. Stacey is horrrified when an upset Lily tells her what's happened.

She storms over to No. 27 and in no uncertain terms tells Jack that the whole Branning family are banned from having anything to do with Lily's child.

Ricky Jnr is devastated by Stacey's decision and he blames it all on dad Jack. With Denise warning Jack that he's out of order, an upset Ricky calls his mum Sam Mitchell.

Jack has been making a habit of going overboard where his kids are concerned, including attacking teenager Denzel Danes for spending time with his daughter Amy Mitchell. He realises that his latest action have pushed Ricky away, as he packs his things to move in with his mum.

Lexi Pearce tells mum Lola Pearce that she's feeling unwell and she needs to stay off school. Lola suspects Lexi is play acting and gets her dad  Ben Mitchell to take her into school.

It's not long before the school call to say that Lexi needs to come home. The young girl confesses that she needs to be at home, as she wants to be with her ill mum every minute until she gets better.

Poor Lola hides her devastation over Lexi's words, knowing that her daughter is holding onto a hope that will never materialise.

Lola decides that it's finally time to be honest and confess to Lexi that her brain tumour is terminal.

Reiss Colwell has been trying to think of ways to help out Sonia Fowler ever since she revealed she might end up homeless because of the inheritance tax on the late Dot Branning's house.

The accountant realises that some extra income will boost Sonia's seriously depleted coffers and he suggests that she get herself another lodger.

Stacey Slater is still fuming with boyfriend Kheerat Panesar for using her daughter Lily Slater to get information out of Nugget Gulati.

After chucking a drink over him in the pub, Stacey has well and truly fallen out with him and she unloads on Eve Unwin about her relationship woes.

When Stacey mentions Kheerat's dad Nish Panesar, Eve's ears prick up, as she has concerns about Nish's wife Suki Panesar following their passionate kiss, as Suki's in Mumbai on a business trip.

Eve decides to head to the call centre and she ends up in a confrontation with Kheerat. Angry with Eve, Kheerat follows her back home and they end up in a huge row about Suki, with Stacey trying to calm them both down.

When Kheerat later finds out that Ravi has arranged to meet up with Stacey in The Vic to talk about business, he's less than pleased. Eve, meanwhile, is getting completely plastered and Ravi helps Stacey take Eve home.

Back at the Slaters, Stacey opens a bottle of wine and she and Ravi open up to each other. As the pair start to relax, Ravi moves in for a kiss.

Will Stacey be tempted to respond?

Felix Baker realises that he and brother Finlay Baker can't just plot up at Chelsea Fox's house and expect to get along perfectly with Chelsea and fellow housemate Whitney Dean!

He decides that a charm offensive is needed and he arranges a posh housewarming dinner for the new housemates to bond.

Chelsea and Whitney are blown away by the dinner party and any tension between them all seems to be resolved. 

Whitney, however, has been concerned about how they'll all get along and she feels much better when Finlay and Felix implement some house rules!

Harvey Monroe is still feeling a bit down on himself after overhearing Dotty Cotton badmouthing him. Especially as he's been trying to pick himself up after his broken engagement to Jean Slater and daughter Dana Monroe moving out.

When Dotty tries to apologise to Harvey for being mean about him, he doesn't want to hear it, however. Later, his wallet goes missing and he immediately jumps to conclusions.

In front of Kathy Beale and Rocky Cotton, Harvey confronts Dotty about the missing wallet, suggesting that she stole it.

Dotty is outraged by the accusation and denies it but is she telling the truth?

Stacey Slater is determined to get mum Jean Slater back to the Square after finding her hiding out at the caravan park with Big Mo Harris. 

Jean digs her heels in about staying away from the Square, concerned that the locals will all be judging her for her recent bipolar episode.

But it's Jean's granddaughter Lily Slater who's taking thing to heart the most and she starts to get emotional as Stacey talks to her grandma, especially after all she did for her gran when she was ill.

Later, the family sit down with Martin Fowler to talk things through and Martin shares some moving words with Jean in the hope that it will get through to her.

With pressure from all sides, will Jean see the sense in their words and agree to go back to Walford.

Amy Branning is struggling with the realities of being a teen and all the insecurities it brings with it. Denise Fox and Chelsea Fox feel sorry for the young girl and are determined to help her out. 

Realising how insecure Denzel and Nugget have made Amy feel, Chelsea is furious when she realises that Denzel hasn't apologised to Amy for being nasty to her. She gives him and Nugget a roasting over their behaviour and the comments they made.

Will the boys listen to what Chelsea has to say and make things up with Amy?

Rocky Cotton has had his eye on Bobby Beale and Dana Monroe and he's convinced they both still have a thing for each other! 

He's sure that the exes are keen to get back together but are both too shy to say.

After sharing his views with both Dana and Bobby separately, it leaves them thoughtful about the drinks they've arranged, just as friends, after Dana wanted to cheer up Bobby who was unhappy about his gran Kathy Beale's decision to sell Walford East.

After Rocky's comments, the pair nervously meet up for a drink.

Is Rocky right and do they want to start seeing each other again or has he just put a spanner in the works for their friendship?

Stacey Slater tries not to let mum Jean Slater worry about the injury she has that was caused after an altercation between the pair. But she's also hopeful that Jean's renewed interest in her welfare may mean she's on the road to recovery.

Jean has been home with Stacey after only spending a short while in hospital following her recent breakdown. Stacey may be trying to keep positive but when Kat realises that Stacey has ended up badly hurt due to Jean, she wonders whether Jean would be better off in hospital after all.

When Stacey later bumps into Kheerat Panesar it's clear she's not feeling too well and she admits what Jean did to her. All of a sudden, Stacey crumples to the ground and Kheerat is horrified!

Alcoholic Linda Carter is constantly on the verge of falling off the wagon and as she heads out to get wine, she's intercepted by Rainie Highway. Given a few words to make her think twice, Linda instead decides to put all her attention into planning the Jubilee celebrations.

Janine Butcher is less than impressed to see Linda in the Vic with a whiteboard but Mick is pleased and reveals he has a special surprise for the day.

Meanwhile, Karen exits the meeting halfway through, upset at the thought that her murdered daughter Chantelle Atkins won't be with her for the celebrations. 

Mick Carter comforts Karen and they agree to honour their missing loved ones, including Mick's auntie Tina Carter.

Linda is on top of the world after the successful meeting and she wants to get her hand back in at the pub. But when Mick turns down her offer to expand the pub's business with her bribe money, she's left deflated.

Things seem to be looking up when Linda overhears Denise Fox and Kim Fox talking about needing an investor for the salon and her mind starts whirring.

Rainie Highway is unimpressed with Ben Mitchell for his apparent betrayal of her brother-in-law Callum Highway. But after having a go at him, it's clear Rainie has bigger things on her mind.

Hubby Stuart Highway is still struggling to bond with baby Roland and Rainie takes Stuart and Roland out for a picnic.

Roland's surrogate mum Bernie Taylor watches on, in a contemplative mood. Sonia Fowler sees her looking wistfully at the baby and she gives her a few words of advice.

Also, Callum Highway and Lola Pearce go for a drink to share their respective romantic woes.

Stacey Slater settles mum Jean Slater back in at home after taking her out of the hospital where she was being treated for her latest bipolar episode.

When Kat Slater and Eve Unwin find out what Stacey has done, they are alarmed, telling Stacey that home is not the best place for Jean right now.

Stacey, however, refuses to send her mum back to the hospital, insisting she can cope with caring for her. She invites Jean's former fiance Harvey Monroe over in a bid to get Jean to open up. 

But after the terrifying events of Jean's breakdown, he's not sure he can deal with seeing her right now and he makes up an excuse not to visit.

Back home, Jean is refusing to eat and she's listless and unable to interact with the children. It dawns on Stacey that she has a huge challenge ahead if she wants to get Jean well again.

Linda Carter is brooding following Janine Butcher's offer of £25,000 to leave the Square and Mick Carter forever. She tells Janine she'll take the money but she wants double what she offered!

Janine is pleased her scheme seems to have worked, but Linda leaves her feeling insecure about her own future with Mick.

To make sure Linda follows through with leaving, Janine comes up with a plan to get her the money she wants.

Linda's stunned when Janine confronts her and says she has the full amount. But she'll have to leave tomorrow!

Where has Janine got the money from?

Frankie Lewis needs to get her photography portfolio together and Rocky Cotton reckons she should do a series of photos on the 'real East End'. 

After taking pictures of Rocky standing in the car lot, however, Frankie's not happy with how they turned out.

Next up, is a shot of her dad, landlord Mick Carter, taken in the Queen Vic. Mitch Baker and Rocky think Jay Mitchell should offer to model for the shoot.

After Frankie leaves, they decide to play a prank and set Jay up for a fall!

Stacey Slater is hoping that she can get mum Jean Slater back on track now that Jean's moved back into the family home. 

With her fiance Harvey Monroe realising that Jean has gone too far - and insisting on pushing the wedding back - Jean took her bags to the Slaters in a fit of anger.

But it's soon clear that things are about to get a lot worse for the Slaters when Billy Mitchell tells Stacey that he saw Jean out an about in her wedding dress, claiming that she's getting married today!

Terrified that her mum is about to come to harm, Stacey enlists the help of her ex Martin Fowler and they confront Harvey, hoping to find out where Jean could have gone.

Meanwhile, Jean is in Southend dressed in her wedding dress and she's loving it as she wanders along and is showered with compliments by passersby.

She heads to the funfair to enjoy the rides, not knowing that Stacey and Martin on on her tail.

The pair turn up to find Jean and they are horrified when they see her walking towards the ocean. A desperate Stacey runs after her mum and tries to get her away from the water, without alarming her.

It suddenly gets through to Jean that what she's doing isn't in any way sensible and with a shock it dawns on her that she is indeed going through a manic phase.

As the reality sinks in, it sends Jean over the edge and she resists Stacey's efforts to get to her. Can Stacey pull Jean back from the brink?

Back in Albert Square, Harvey Monroe's head is all over the place after the recent upsets with Jean. He confides in Rocky Cotton about what's been going on and there's a revelation for him, too.

He can see that Jean is in fact, having an episode and has been the whole time they've been together... It's gutting for Harvey to realise that she may never have loved him at all. When a massive wedding cake arrives, Harvey breaks down...

Also, Kat Slater is gobsmacked when Callum Highway has to bring Lily Slater home after she's caught shoplifting.

It's soon revealed that Jean has gone over the top trying to treat them by getting in a bouncy castle. It ends up blocking the whole of the market as the kids excitedly climb on.

Jean's having just a good a time as the kids, when she gets on to try it out but things take a turn for the worse when she accidentally hurts Stacey's son Arthur Fowler. Furious, Stacey demands that Jean come off the bouncy castle immediately.

Harvey Monroe and daughter Dana Monroe get back to the Square after a foiled attempt to visit Harvey's son Aaron Monroe in prison.

Stacey's infuriated when Harvey only encourages Jean and climbs on the bouncy castle with her!

Worried that Harvey doesn't understand how severe Jean's condition can get and that he might unintentionally put her in a precarious position, Stacey makes a decision. She tells Jean that she's not having her looking after the kids on her own until she sees a doctor.

Jada Lennox starts plotting to have some fun after Sharon Watts reveals she's going away with her son Albie for a few nights. She lets slip to Sharon's brother Zack Hudson that's she's arranged a party at the house!

Zack is horrified and tells Jada to cancel it, and she agrees, but things are about to get out of hand... When Will Mitchell comes into the salon and asks Jada for an invite, she realises that her mates have sent out the invite on her behalf, so it seems the party is on whether Zack likes it or not.

In a bid to get Zack out of the house, she suggests he have a night out with Martin Fowler and she's relieved when he agrees.

Also, Kat Slater makes an alarming discovery and Tommy Moon later finds her crying in the kitchen.

Stacey Slater is stunned when Ben Mitchell reveals that someone paid for her to have her dodgy old food van repaired, as she didn't have quite enough cash. 

When Stacey realises that Kheerat Panesar was her guardian angel, she visits him to tell him how grateful she is. 

There's been some chemistry between them for some time but it's not come to anything. But as Stacey lets her guard down, the pair share a moment.

The almost kiss is interrupted by Kheerat's brother Vinny Panesar, who barges in on them. Later, Kheerat heads out to find Stacey and he gives her a tender kiss. 

It's just on the cheek, but a flattered Stacey is totally smitten!

Mick Carter is nursing a terrible hangover after his night at the club but mum Shirley Carter has absolutely no sympathy! 

When Rocky Cotton suggests that Mick start a boxing club, Mick says he's not interested. After seeing Rocky's boxing gloves Janine Butcher has a plan. 

She knows that Mick's son Ollie Carter needs to get a school project fundraiser off the ground. Mick is touched when he realises that Janine has organised a charity boxing match to help Ollie. 

Nancy Carter sees the two laughing together and is not happy!

Jean Slater is ignoring Harvey Monroe, as he made a misplaced comment to her the previous day that left her feeling hurt. When she gets Harvey as her cab driver to take her to her hospital appointment, she's fuming!

At the appointment, Jean tries to explain when the doctor worries she's not been to see them for over a year. She insists that all is well and she's been taking her medication.

Things take a bit of a turn when Jean can't find her diary to write in another appointment. Much to her relief, Harvey turns up with the diary that she left in his cab.

Softening towards Harvey for his good deed she opens up to him about some of the more private aspects of her life.

Also, Keegan Baker is scathing when Vinny Panesar wants to throw a surprise birthday party for Dotty Cotton, as he's sure no one will come!

Stacey Slater is feeling shaken after learning that Martin Fowler was Mr Lister's first choice for the job of market inspector. Already feeling nervous about her new role, the news that she was second best is not helping matters.

After daughter Lily Slater gives her a bit of a pep talk, she vows to put her best foot forward. But on arriving at the market, things are in total chaos. Stacey attempts to get the market under control but her day only gets worse when she ends up covered in rubbish!

Rather than being helpful, Martin watches on from his stall, thinking it's hilarious. His attitude infuriates Stacey, who blurts out she hates the job and he's made her life a living hell!

As she continues to vent, Stacey doesn't see a moving car and she backs into its path. Will she be seriously injured?

Peter Beale has found out exactly what Aaron Monroe was up to and he is stunned. he sits down with brother Bobby Beale and warns him that he needs to stay well away from that family – and that means keeping clear of Dana Monroe!

Peter, however, refuses to listen, as he's still completely besotted by her. Instead, he asks gran Kathy Beale if he can borrow some cash so that he can propose!

A worried Kathy shares the news with Peter. Just as Bobby gets down on one knee to ask Dana to marry him, Peter and Kathy burst in.

Dana's dad Harvey is there and he is shocked as Kathy furiously insists that there's no way Bobby is marrying Dana.

Gray Atkins is suspicious about what wife Chelsea Atkins has been up to and he asks her about Whitney Dean coming round to the house. Not feeling that he's got enough of an answer out of her, he later pushes again to get her to confess.

Chelsea, however, brushes off Gray's accusations and insists that the only thing on her mind it their fragile baby son Jordan. When her mum Denise Fox later pops round, Chelsea tells her that she can't see Jordan.

Her mum Suki Panesar is surprised with Ash's gutsy response to the pair. One person who isn't impressed, however, is Mr Lister, who has overheard the whole sorry exchange.

Mick Carter is desperate to talk to his absent wife Linda Carter as he's been missing spending Christmas with her. 

When Stuart Highway gives Mick a bright idea to create the perfect family party he comes up with a wonderful idea.

Meanwhile, Janine Butcher still has her eyes and ears on the prize as she wants Mick for herself! 

After Billy Mitchell reveals that Linda is an alcoholic, Janine comes up with a plan...

Also, Phil Mitchell is left frustrated when Denise Fox tells him he can't see son Raymond until after New Year.

But their conversation is cut short when Stacey gets a worrying phone call. She heads to the cafe where she finds her very drunk wife Eve Unwin laying into SukI!

Stacey's alarmed as Eve says she's supposed to be meeting her probation officer and she takes her back home to sober her up. When the probation officers turns up, Jean Slater manages to cover for her.

As the probation officer leaves, Kheerat arrives with Suki to lay things on the line. Kheerat's fuming that Eve had a go at his mum and Suki coldly tells the Slaters she wants them out by the end of the week.

Stacey begs Kheerat to help. Will he listen to her pleas?

Dana Monroe hides her hurt when brother Aaron Monroe puts her off from inviting her boyfriend Bobby Beale to lunch at their house. Confused as to why he doesn't want Bobby around, Dana confronts her dad Harvey Monroe.

When Harvey says that Bobby is too soft to be around Aaron, Bobby overhears. later he opens up to Dana and friend Iqra Ahmed about his struggles with his mental health. 

Iqra is angry on Bobby's behalf for the snub he got from the Monroes and she encourages Dana to put her foot down with her family.

Dana goes to her father and tells her that unless Bobby can come to the family lunch, she's not turning up either. Feeling backed into a corner, Harvey agrees to speak to Aaron.

Stacey Slater is finally released from prison and makes her way back to Albert Square. Her mum Jean Slater is over the moon about seeing her again and sets about planning a big party.

One thing that is set to spoil Stacey's big return is the Slater house's dodgy boiler. But when she asks landlady Suki Panesar to fix it, she doesn't get the most helpful response!

At Walford East, the party kicks off and Stacey makes her grand entrance. Stacey's daughter Lily Slater is thrilled to see her but Stacey's ex Martin Fowler is feeling a bit edgy. Stacey approaches Martin and tells him she wants to speak to him later.

Martin doesn't catch on to the slightly ominous overtone to her request. After chatting to new best mate Zack Hudson about how he feels about Stacey, Zack encourages him to go for it with her.

When Martin gets some time with Stacey he's about to reveal his true feelings but, before he can, Stacey drops a bombshell! 

What has she got to say?

Chelsea Fox has been keeping her big news that she's going to have Gray Atkins' baby firmly under wraps from her family. But she's finding it difficult to keep the secret and she finally blurts it out to her aunty Kim Fox.

Chelsea explains that she doesn't know how to tell mum Denise Fox and she asks Kim if she can help her. Kim reluctantly agrees to Chelsea's request.

Tiffany Butcher-Baker nervously turns up for her date with Aaron Monroe at Ruby's. But things are set to get REALLY awkward as her ex Keegan Butcher-Baker is working a shift! When Aaron turns up, the date doesn't go too well and Tiff decides to make an early exit.

She's left even more embarassed when her heel snaps as she tries to leave in a dignified manner. Keegan sees what's happened and feeling sorry for her, he gives her a piggy back home! 

Tiff's brother Liam Butcher sees what's happening and storms over to tell Keegan to keep away from his sister. 

However, it's clear that maybe the spark between Tiff and Keegan hasn't completely disappeared...

Meanwhile, Stacey’s ex Martin Fowler tells wife Ruby that he’s really worried about the kids. When Stacey sees Martin, she ends up having a showdown over the children. Trying not to completely unravel ahead of her court date, she is grateful when mum Jean Slater fervently promises her that she will take care of everything at home.

Stacey packs a holdall to take with her to court. She says an emotional goodbye to her family and heads off to await her fate…

Frankie Lewis is in bits after her upset over Mick Carter not being able to admit to anyone he’s her dad. With her abuser mum set to go to court, she feels abandoned. Mick’s wife Linda Carter feels for her and she promises her that things will get better.

Mick Carter meets up with Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Tom in Walford East, as Tom has some news for him. He learns that other survivors of Katy’s abuse have come forward.

The reminder that there will be a court case spins out Mick, who can feel a panic attack coming on. He asks if the other men can give evidence instead of him. 

Feeling worried for her husband, Linda attempts to calm him down.Mick insists that there’s no way he can go to court, it will be too much for him.

Bobby Beale has bagged himself another date under his new persona, ‘Rob’. In the cafe, matchmaker Kim Fox and his gran Kathy Beale question him about his love life.

Later, Bobby heads to the chemist to buy some condoms just in case things go well. On the date with a girl called Dana, Bobby, as ‘Rob’, does his best to impress.

Will Dana fall for his act?

Jean Slater reassures Stacey Slater over her future, Gray Atkins drives a wedge between Whitney Dean and Kush Kazemi, and Ben Mitchell takes revenge

Jean Slater is on a mission to help Stacey Slater in Thursday’s first episode of EastEnders (7.40 pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).

Jean Slater is feeling anxious ahead of daughter Stacey Slater’s appointment with the lawyer. She later catches up with Ruby Fowler and demands to know what she’s going to do.

Ruby tells a relieved Jean that she’ll call DS Barnes and drop the charges against Stacey.

Stacey is sitting down with the lawyer, who tells her that she can get the sentence down to six months if she pleads guilty to pushing Ruby down the stairs.

Jean bursts in and tells her that Ruby is dropping the case.

Surprised, Stacey wants to talk to Ruby herself but a panicky Jean tells her not to, insisting she needs to stay away from her.

At the club, Ruby leaves a message for DI Barnes saying she needs to talk.

Ruby and her husband Martin Fowler have an appointment with the doctor to talk about her fertility.

The couple are devastated when they learn that she seems to have endometriosis and it could have implications for her fertility in the future.

Kush Kazemi plans a day out with girlfriend Whitney Dean and his son Arthur Fowler to talk about his future. When he bumps into Whitney’s employer Gray Atkins, he tells him what he’s up to.

Gray advises Kush to talk to Arthur alone about his possible prison sentence. Whitney is left disappointed when Kush cancels their date but she is understanding. When she tells Gray that she’s available to look after his kids after all, Gray hides his triumph. 

Later, Gray is shocked when he gets a call from the children’s school to say that there’s been trouble with his son Mack and a teacher will visit to talk to him.

Whitney offers a concerned Gray her support. He uses the opportunity to plant seeds of doubt in her mind about her relationship with Kush.

Stacey Slater is getting increasingly concerned about a missing Kush Kazemi. She soon lashes out at Ruby Fowler but Martin Fowler wades in, sticking up for his wife.

When Stacey calls Kush, her son Arthur Fowler picks up the phone and tells her that they are going on a plane. An alarmed Stacey is horrified as Kush takes the phone and tells her that if she calls the police she will never see her son again.

Meanwhile, Kush is weighing up his options and he makes a call… Has he found a better way out of his problems?

Callum Highway has been playing a dangerous game spying on the Mitchells for DI Thompson in a bid to keep his boyfriend Ben Mitchell safe from the law. But now that fellow copper Jack Branning knows everything, it seems Callum’s luck has run out.

Jack tells Callum that his hands are tied and when Ben finds out what Callum has been up to, it could mean the end of their relationship. Can Callum convince Jack to find another way?

Sonia Fowler has been struggling with the workload at the hospital, which has left her upset and exhausted. When Ash Panesar realises that Sonia is not doing so well, she checks up on her. Sonia rushes off, feeling shaken.

Later, Sonia has some trouble with a tricky patient and it puts her on edge. When an insensitive comment is made she finally snaps. Later, alone, Sonia breaks down in tears...

EastEnders favourite Stacey Slater finds her life in danger next week when she is brutally attacked by a hooded figure.

The drama comes after Stacey gets into a fight with former best friend Ruby Allen.

Viewers will know that Stacey and Ruby have become frenemies after Ruby and Martin became an item.

But their friendship took another turn last night when the news that Martin and Ruby had tied the knot hit Stacey like a sledgehammer.

As Stacey struggles to come to terms with the fact she has well and truly missed the boat with Martin, next week will see things take another dramatic turn.

Friends or enemies?

Ruby and Stacey seem to be getting their friendship back on track when a mistaken delivery of champagne at the club sees them sharing a drink together.

But as the pair take a trip down memory lane, things take a tricky turn when Lily reveals all the nasty things Stacey has been saying about Ruby behind her back.

The pair fall out once again and Ruby declares war, threatening Stacey that she could have her out of the Square with a click of her fingers.

A grim delivery 

So when something sinister is put through the letterbox at the Slaters' house Stacey instantly assumes it is Ruby playing games.

Despite Ruby denying that she was behind the grim letterbox threat, Stacey is convinced she is plotting against her.

Coming to the conclusion that Ruby is trying to take her kids away from her, Stacey heads to the club to give her former best friend a piece of her mind.

However, before she can get there, Stacey is suddenly attacked by a hooded figure, who leaves her lying motionless on the floor.

But why has Stacey been targeted? And will she survive to tell the tale?

Stacey Slater is assaulted by a mysterious attacker in Thursday’s episode of EastEnders (7.35 pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).

Stacey Slater is stunned when something very unpleasant is posted through the Slater letterbox. She shows Kush Kazemi, who assumes it might be some kind of warning from people he owes money to. Stacey, however, is convinced that it’s down to Ruby Allen and she confronts her.

Ruby denies all knowledge and as things escalate between the pair, ruby suggests that she could have Stacey kicked out of the Square in an instant!

Stewing over the suggestion that Ruby is trying to take her kids away from her, Stacey decides to go to the club and have it out with her. On her way to the club she is attacked by a hooded figure and left for dead on the ground…

Phil Mitchell meets up with lawyer Ritchie Scott and tells her that he wants to go for full custody of his son Raymond Dawkins. Ritchie can’t see that the courts would take too kindly to Phil’s rather extensive criminal record and suggestions it would be an almost impossible task.

Meanwhile, DI Thompson wants to protect his off the record investigation into Phil and tells Callum Highway he needs Jack Branning to keep his nose out. Callum tells a disgruntled Jack to steer clear. What will Jack say?

Kathy Beale feels mortified after her date the previous night when she made out she was a lot younger than she really was. Grandson Peter Beale reassures Kathy but he’s still concerned for brother Bobby Beale. He can see Bobby frantically cleaning his hands, anxious that Peter will tell Kathy his secret. Later, Sharon Watts gets her late son Dennis’ belongings back from the boat disaster. Unable to cope she leaves the Queen Vic bar empty and Bobby steps in to help out.

Also, Habiba Ahmed gives sister Iqra Ahmed an ultimatum over her girlfriend Ash Panesar. Meanwhile, Lola Pearce feels guilty about boyfriend Jay Mitchell when Honey Mitchell says he’s been singing her praises.

EastEnders this evening is a tough one for Stacey

EastEnders tonight sees Stacey Slater in for the shock of her life when Martin Fowler and Ruby Allen return to Walford with big news.

EastEnders fans will already know that Stacey's nose has been well and truly put out of joint now that her ex husband and former best friend are now an item.

When Stacey left Walford last year the pair became close, eventually finding love in lockdown.

However, Stacey is now back on the Square, and seeing Martin and Ruby together isn't easy for her.

Not wanting Martin’s ex-wife Stacey Slater to be rattled by the turn of events, Kat and Jean try to keep the news from her. But when Martin and Ruby get back to the Square, Stacey confronts Martin and she’s stunned when she discovers the truth about their relationship.

Mick Carter has been in a very odd mood and it’s left wife Linda Carter feeling worried. She pops into the Prince Albert to speak to Mick’s aunt Tina Carter for some advice. Tina asks Frankie Lewis to mind the bar for her while she takes Linda for a cuppa at the cafe. She reassures Linda that Mick’s stress has nothing to do with her.

Prince Albert owner, Kathy Beale angrily approaches Kathy and demands to know why no one is manning the bar. Where has Frankie got to?

Ben Mitchell talks to boyfriend Callum Highway about his dad Phil Mitchell visiting adopted son Raymond Dawkins in hospital. He’s worried that if Raymond’s mum Denise Fox finds out she will be furious.

Ben’s daughter Lexi Pearce overhears her dad talking. When her mum Lola Pearce moans to boyfriend Jay Mitchell about Denise’s bad mood at work in the salon, Lexi tells them about Raymond...

Tonight's EastEnders saw Stacey Slater struggling to settle back into life in Walford after returning home.

Not only has she now got to get her head around the fact her ex husband, Martin Fowler, is now shacked up with her best friend, Ruby, but she is also finding it hard to reconnect with her mum, Jean Slater.

But while Stacey might be starting to wonder why she came back to Albert Square, viewers are loving having the character back on their screens.

However, tonight's episode of EastEnders left fans baffled after Stacey was seen wandering around the Square with no shoes on.

Stacey had just had a heart-to-heart with Martin in the takeaway shop, with both of them trying to make sense of where their relationship goes from here.

However, as Martin and Ruby kissed and made up, Stacey was seen in the Square without her boots on.

Instead she was holding some fancy looking boots in her hands as she walked through the market.

But while some fans were worried that her chat with Martin had affected Stacey more than they realised, could there be a far simpler reason for her barefoot walk in the Square?
