Former Doctor Who star David Tennant has told how he had to repeatedly film a sex scene - because the film crew could not see enough of his bum. The actor is seen in a steamy clinch with co-star Suranne Jones for his new BBC drama Single Father. But David - who filmed his last appearance as the Time Lord last year - said he had to do numerous takes to ensure there was enough of his bottom on display. He told Absolute Radio: "There was a whole sequence with them going 'no sorry, we can't see your a***. Sorry, go again.' "We've got to be able to see his a***. Come on, once more,'" he added. However David said the bum scene has probably been left on the cutting room floor: "I don't think it's made the final cut." The actor also joked that he was miffed when US film crews preferred to film Piers Morgan than him when he attended the Emmy Awards. "Nobody knew who I was. I got pushed out of the way by Access Hollywood or something or other for Piers Morgan. Oooh, it was a low moment in life," he added, in an interview with breakfast host Christian O'Connell.
