Paul Kaye to guest star in Doctor Who!
Paul Kaye is set to make a guest appearance in this autumn's ninth series of Doctor Who, playing a character named 'Prentis'.
The Game Of Thrones actor, who rose to fame in his comedy role as celebrity journalist Dennis Pennis, will join Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman for series nine of the sci-fi drama, according to Digital Spy.
However, it isn't known yet what role Paul will play, and whether he will fall on the side of good or evil in the adventures he appears in.
Meanwhile, former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies has been telling the Radio Times that he is just a bit jealous of Steven Moffat casting Peter Capaldi in the lead role, saying he wished he'd thought of it himself.
Admitting that he still watched the show "absolutely religiously" and has found Peter's version of the Doctor "glorious", he said it seemed obvious now what a great choice he was for the part.
He said: "I know Peter Capaldi. He did a Doctor Who with us and he did a brilliant Torchwood and when they cast him I was just envious. I just thought: so brilliant. Why didn't I think of that? Brilliant."
The ninth series of Doctor Who is due on BBC1 in autumn 2015.
