'Come on Eileen!' Frustrated fans urge Eileen to see Phelan for what he really is

Fans had high hopes that the truth about Eileen's evil husband would be revealed after she rifled through his tool box...

Last night's dramatic episode saw Eileen search through husband Pat Phelan's toolbox in attempt to uncover the truth about his suspicious behaviour.

Despite being warned by Seb that Phelan has been concealing a gun, Eileen's yet to believe that he's a cold-blooded murderer.

But after the big build up, soap fans were left frustrated when the box turned out to be red herring.

Concerned for her safety, Corrie fans are now desperate for her to uncover the truth and see Phelan for the monster he really is - before it's too late...

When will Eileen finally learn the truth? In Monday's episode Eileen visits Anna Windass in prison again, who will attempt to convince her that he's rotten to the core.

Eileen is set to receive a call from Anna, begging her to visit and talk things through another time. But will she listen?
