Actor David Tennant has revealed he is once again a proud father.

The former Doctor Who (opens in new tab) star announced that he and wife Georgia Moffett (opens in new tab) are the happy parents of a baby girl.

The Scottish star mentioned the new addition to his family while guesting as a co-host on Absolute Radio’s the Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show.

The DJ asked him about his 'growing brood' and the 44-year-old replied: “I know. Number four has arrived, yeah.”

Christian responded: ‘Wow! What is it, like, The Waltons round there at the Tennant household?”

David said with a laugh: “I know. It’s getting a bit… it’s a bit of a brood!”

The Broadchurch actor wouldn’t reveal anything further about his baby daughter, but stated he and Georgia, 30, have now 'got two of each'.

The couple, who wed four years ago, have three other children: four-year-old Olive, Wilfred, two, and 13-year-old son Tyler, who was adopted by David in 2011.

In 2012, he told Absolute Radio: “My baby is almost a year old and I adopted my wife’s boy last year as well so I became a father twice in six months – that’s got to be something of a record hasn’t it?”

Georgia’s father is fellow former Doctor Who star Peter Davison, who played the Time Lord from 1981-1984.

The couple met during David’s stint as the 10th Doctor when Georgia had a guest role in 2008 episode The Doctor’s Daughter.

David recently announced he is reprising his role as Doctor Who in three new audio dramas in 2016.

He will be joined by comic actress Catherine Tate, who once again plays companion Donna Noble.

As the Time Lord, David first stepped into the Tardis in 2005, departing five years later. He was last seen in the 50th anniversary episode, The Day Of The Doctor in 2013.
