Actress Olivia Colman has addressed rumours of her being in line to become Doctor Who's first female Time Lord.
The Broadchurch star is currently 10-1to step into Matt Smith's shoes when he leaves the show at Christmas - but told the Mirror that those betting on her shouldn't waste their money.
"My brother sent me a text saying 'Congratulations, they've released odds on you being the new Doctor Who," Olivia said.
"How funny, I wouldn't put any money on it!"
The increasingly busy actress - who has already been seen in a host of shows this year including ITV hit Broadchurch - is back on screen again this week, playing a feisty single mother in the Channel 4 drama Run.
However Olivia - who has two sons with her husband, actot-turned-writer Ed Sinclair - denied that she was constantly working.
"Schedulers just put everything on at the same time," she insisted. "You get big chunks of weeks when you're not doing anything.
