A new trailer for series 10 of Doctor Who gives an exciting taste of the adventures to come
It’s the beginning of the end of Peter Capaldi’s run playing the Doctor and the latest trailer for series 10 shows he’s going out fighting in “a time of heroes”!
As the trailer plays out, we see the Doctor stalking enemies with his companion Bill and oddball Nardole (Matt Lucas) as we hear his companion Bill (Pearl Mackie) talk of her life with the Doctor…
“The first time you meet him, he’s funny,” she says. “The second time, he’s amazing. The third time, you realise he’s the most dangerous man in the universe.
“He says he’s a man of peace, but he walks in war. I’m having the time of my life – and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Even if it kills me…”
Is that a hint that Bill’s life is in danger?
The footage reveals some new details of the eagerly-anticipated series since the announcement last month that Peter Capaldi has quit the hit sci-fi drama, along with showrunner Steven Moffat, who is being replaced by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall.
