Amy Childs refuses The Jump and leaves Channel 4 show

The only way was the exit for former TOWIE star Amy Childs as she failed to even attempt the jump that gives the Channel 4 ski challenge show its name.

The reality TV regular and beautician was at the bottom of the leader board with singer Sinitta on The Jump after the pair produced the slowest speeds in a skeleton competition, but she bottled the final task.

Shaking her head as she sat at the top of the slope in Austria, Amy did not attempt the feat while Sinitta jumped right into the next round.

Having jumped 10 metres, the 80s pop star said she felt 'amazing'.

Host Davina McCall was unable to speak to Amy about why she did not go through with the jump as she was still at the top of the slope.

Former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt topped the female leader board having completed the skeleton in 44.18 seconds, beating presenter Anthea Turner, TV personality Melinda Messenger, and presenter Laura Hamilton.

On Tuesday night the show's male contestants - five-time Olympic rowing champion Sir Steve Redgrave, comedian Marcus Brigstocke, cricketer Darren Gough, fashion journalist Henry Conway and Five singer Ritchie Neville - will compete in a skeleton competition.
