Harley and the Davidsons

HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS Friday, Discovery HD, 9pm This three-part period drama, shown over consecutive nights, charts the birth of the iconic motorbike firm during the early 1900s, and tells the story of how friends, Bill Harley and Arthur Davidson, and his brother Walter, started the company in a backyard in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Robert Aramayo, who is best known for playing young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones takes on the role of Bill Harley, while another Thrones actor, Michiel Huisman (aka Daenerys’ former lover Daario) is Walter.

THE STRAIN Friday, W HD, 9pm The 10-part third series of the horror drama created by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan kicks off with Dr Ephraim continuing his quest to stem the vampire epidemic by perfecting a biological weapon, while Setrakian and Mr Quinlan (Former Spooks star Rupert Penry-Jones) attempt to translate an ancient book which may reveal a way to stop the Master and his plans for a new world order.

UNFORGETTABLE | LAST ONE EVER? Friday, Sky Atlantic HD, 9pm Has the axe finally fallen on the detective drama series starring Poppy Montgomery, which has been cancelled and revived twice? The fourth and final season closer, entitled Paranoid Android, finds Montgomery’s Detective Carrie Wells having flashbacks which conflict with her memory as she and the team track down an assassin? Has her mind been tampered with? Will the episode end with a bang - or a whimper? Will you be tuning in to find out?
