Cousin of One Direction's Liam Payne to audition on The Voice

It seems Liam Payne isn’t the only talented one in the family. His cousin, Ross, has auditioned for The Voice and you’ll catch him on this weekend’s show.

Ross Harris, a drummer who has toured with Union J and The Saturdays, will be seen singing to the back of Rita Ora, Will.I.Am, Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson’s chairs, and hoping one will swivel around.

The 23-year-old from the West Midlands will be seen playing percussion as well as displaying his vocal talent on Usher’s Good Kisser.

He said: “It’s a little bit of a risk putting my voice out there.

“I often think what it would be like to be them at the front rather than me at the back.”

Also taking part in the show – on Saturday at 7pm – is Tim Arnold, boyfriend of EastEnders actress Jessie Wallace and son of Polly Perkins, who played Rose Cotton in the BBC One soap.
