David Walliams is ousting John Humphrys as Mastermind host for a Sport Relief special - in which he probes footballers.
The comedy star and Britain's Got Talent panellist will fire questions at three players including England and Arsenal player Jack Wilshere in the sketch.
The midfielder will be joined by Michael Dawson from Spurs and Fulham's Scott Parker as they each take a turn in the black leather chair for their Celebrity Mastermind grilling.
Their performances will form part of the Sport Relief night programming on BBC One, which begins at 7pm tonight (March 21).
Walliams once branded a Mastermind contestant 'astoundingly thick' after he scored only one point during his specialist subject round and his comment during a Channel 4 programme was probed by Ofcom following a complaint.
However the broadcasting regulator concluded his remark was 'fair comment'.
