The final part in Shane Meadows' This Is England drama series will screen next year.

This Is England began with the 2006 feature film, about a boy who befriends a group of skinheads in the 1980s.

TV series This is England '86, followed on Channel 4 in 2010, and This is England '88, was broadcast in 2011.

Now a 'final four stories', following the same group of characters, such as Lol (Vicky McClure), Shaun (Thomas Turgoose) and Woody (Joe Gilgun)' are being filmed in Sheffield, Screen International reported.

Co-written by Shane and Jack Thorne, the four episodes will mark the end of the story when they screen in 2015.

Shane (far right) was quoted: "We will see an enormous transformation in the lives of our cast over these final four stories as Shaun writes his final chapter with the gang he loves."
