Holly Willoughby (opens in new tab) will host a new Saturday night sports comedy panel show called Play To The Whistle.

Former England footballer Frank Lampard and TV presenter Bradley Walsh will be team captains and each week they'll be joined by the very best global sporting talent and the funniest comedians.

Stand-up comic Seann Walsh will be the series' umpire as both teams battle it out in a series of sporting challenges designed to test their sports knowledge and physical skills.

Peter Davey, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment ITV said: “Whether watching with friends or family, Play To The Whistle will provide that essential sporting fix.”

Dan Baldwin, Managing Director of Hungry Bear Media, said: “Play To The Whistle is a superb watch whether you like sport or not. It’s packed with the biggest names from the world of comedy and sport. It’s worth staying in for on a Saturday night.”
