Former EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon has said that being famous means that it is harder to meet the right kind of men. Martine, who has famously had several high-profile relationships fail, described potential suitors saying: "They stare a lot because they probably think, 'I don't know where to begin with her. What do I say? Do I pretend I don't know who she is or I pretend I do know who she is?'." And the 31-year-old, who is playing blowsy housewife Susan in the new ITV soap Echo Beach, added: "The ones who are brave enough to come up are normally the ones who are a bit bolshy and not very nice and it's probably the shy ones that you don't get to meet who are the ones who could be really lovely." But though Martine would not be drawn any further on whether she had a man in her life at the moment, she admitted that she had been seeing someone. "I'm very happy at the moment and that's all I can say about my love life," Martine revealed.
