Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage was reportedly offered £250,000 to enter the I'm a Celebrity jungle, but has said he won't be appearing on the ITV show

NigelFarage has finally put an end to the speculation surrounding his entering the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

The former UKIP leader has told Sky News 'No way!' will he be entering the Australian jungle, even after reportedly been offered a whopping £250,000 to take part in the show.

In a previous interview when speaking about reality TV, Farage told the Daily Star: "I'm well known for saying what I think and for not holding back on my opinions, so I think if I got into one of those situations it could be tricky."

The reality show sees a group of celebrities attempt to survive in the Australian jungle. They must compete in a series of gruesome tasks to win their food.

It would be huge coup for the show to get Farage to enter the jungle after his involvement in the Brexit referendum.

One source had told the Mirror: “It would be TV gold to see Farage chomping on kangaroo anus or a turkey testicle in a Bushtucker trial.”

He would add his name to a long list of former political participants on the show, including former MP Lembit Öpik, Lib Dem London mayoral candidate Brian Paddick and Tory MP Nadine Dorries.

Other celebrities rumoured to be competing in this years Bushtucker trials are: Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews. He entered the jungle last year, but left after three days because of a steroid addiction. Word on the street is he wants another crack at it.

TOWIE’s Jessica Wright is another potential, possibly following in her brother Mark’s footsteps. She told the Daily Star: "I really love reality TV. I feel Big Brother or I'm a Celeb would give me the opportunity to show off the real Jess."

Other possibilities include model Sam Reece, the man who Steph Davis cheated on in Celebrity Big Brother. Michael Jackson’s personal doctor Conrad Murray, The Wanted’s Tom Parker, and Geordie Shore’s Gaz Beadle.

I’m a Celebrity will be back on our screens sometime this November.
