Strike Back star and avid sports fan Robson Green has paid tribute to legendary cricket commentator Richie Benaud by recounting a poem he once delivered on stage.

Robson talked to What's on TV about his role in the upcoming final series of the high-octane Sky One drama which features stars Sullivan Stapleton, Phillip Winchester, Michelle Yeoh and Max Beesley, when we asked him what the finest line of dialogue he's ever delivered is...

He recited part of a moving poem from a theatre production he starred in several years ago. Watch it, above.

Former Australian cricket captain Richie Benaud died earlier today at the age of 84. His lyrical, dry cricket commentary became the sound of many people's summers after he retired from playing.

The final series of Strike Back comes to Sky One in May.
