Fans were floored...
Viewers were left stunned during last night's episode of The Voice UK, after two members of the celeb judging panel agreed to a last-minute, unplanned duet.
In Week 2 of 'The Battles' round, judge Olly Murs remarked that there had been some 'fantastic battles' between the contestants so far on the show.
And after being asked who he'd love to see undertake a battle, Olly confessed that he'd be keen to see a duet from singing legends Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson.
Jennifer didn't seem convinced at first, telling the cheering audience, "I can't go with no Tom!"
However, it seems the pair slowly came round to the idea, with Sir Tom suggesting they try out a version of 'It's a Man's Man's World'.
After arranging a key that would suit them both, the popular singers were away, singing an impressive duet all whilst sat in their judging chairs!
And viewers were floored by the incredible, last-minute performance from the two powerhouses, with many taking to social media to sing their praises.
One fan wrote, 'Bloody amazing the pair of them. Loved it x', as another viewer agreed saying, 'All I can say is awesome just awesome'.
A third continued, admitting, 'Oh wow wow wow, that just blew me away!!!', as another fan shared how the off-the-cuff nature of the duet was thing that most impressed them. They said, 'Just wow, fantastic how they just knock a duet out like that on the spur of the moment'.
Another viewer also said, 'Incredible performance and both of their voices are amazing #TheVoiceUK'.
While a following fan revealed she and her family were blown away, writing 'we literally watched this with ours jaws on the floor!!! ❤️❤️❤️'
Later, on the official The Voice UK Twitter account, Jennifer Hudson revealed that she simply took the lead from Tom Jones whilst performing their duet.
She confessed, 'I can learn from Tom Jones. So it's like, okay, Tom, I'll follow your lead. And it was like an on the fly type of thing.
'So to be able to do that with Tom Jones, to sit next to Tom Jones, to work with him. Oh my god, these are the moments I live for.'
