Will Young to star in Miss Marple
Will Young will star in ITV1's new Miss Marple drama The Mirror Crack'd From Side To Side. The Leave Right Now singer will appear alongside Julia McKenzie, who plays Agatha Christie's famous spinster sleuth since taking over the role from Geraldine McEwan. Martin Jarvis, Joanna Lumley, Caroline Quentin, Charlotte Riley, Victoria Smurfit, Nigel Harman and Hugh Bonneville complete the cast of the drama, which is currently filming on location. The Mirror Crack'd From Side To Side follows the tale of a glamorous Hollywood couple who move to the quiet English countryside and throw a charity ball, only for a guest to be murdered with a poisoned cocktail. Julia said: "I'm absolutely delighted to be returning to the role, I'm very much looking forward to filming with such a wonderful guest cast." Four new Miss Marple films - A Pocket Full Of Rye, Murder Is Easy, Why Didn't They Ask Evans? and They Do It With Mirrors - have already been filmed.
