The build-up starts here for British Soap Awards 2018

What’s On TV and Soaplife are official partners of The British Soap Awards 2018 - and voting is now open!

It’s up to you who’ll win this year’s British Soap Awards and you can get voting now for the Best Actor, Best Actress and Best British Soap categories - remember voting closes on 24th April 2018 at 5pm.

The awards ceremony will be screened on ITV in June, with Phillip Schofield once again doing the hosting.

The soap Oscars are back – and for the first time ever they’re live!

Another year in soap has flown by, blowing us away with standout storylines and top notch-acting.

In Coronation Street, Phelan wreaked havoc, murdering Vinny, Andy, Luke and framing Anna before being exposed. Meanwhile, Rita bravely battled a brain tumour.

EastEnders saw Max get even with those who framed him for murder. His plot, with Willmott-Brown, wrecked lives and resulted in his daughter Abi’s death. Plus, a bungled heist brought Mel back to the Square.

In Emmerdale, evil Emma fell to her death after a showdown with nemesis Moira. Robert was out to get the White family, half of who then died in a car crash.

Doctors’ Zara faced danger after witnessing a stabbing and policeman Rob’s life was shattered when Ayesha’s addict mum died on his watch.

In Hollyoaks Luke and Mandy returned, and a tense whodunit led to the discovery that Amy’s new husband Ryan murdered her.
