Hollyoaks star and British Soap Awards winner Anna Passey has revealed her surprise that fans have warmed to Sienna Blake.
The actress, who scooped the award for Best Villian at the ceremony this year, told whatsontv.co.uk that there is "a lot of Sienna love at the moment".
Asked what she made of the fans' reaction to her character, Passey replied: "Amazingly they really love her now. I’m not quite sure how that’s happened, but there’s a lot of support for Sienna and I think this week we see her challenge her father for the first time."
Passey also revealed that she had not prepared a speech for the ceremony.
"I absolutely haven’t," she told us. "Normally I would lie and say that I haven’t but this time I genuinely haven’t. So wish me luck if I win!"
