Doctor Who plot leaked to The Sun

BBC bosses are said to be furious after the plot of the new series of Doctor Who was apparently leaked to The Sun newspaper. Despite attempts to keep the show strictly under wraps, the newspaper claims to have been sent the scripts for episodes nine and 10 of the new series. An insider apparently said: "Bosses are fuming - this is the last thing they would want to happen." The special double bill is due to air on BBC1 in early summer and reportedly sees Doctor Who and sidekick Donna Noble, played by Catherine Tate, travel to the 51st Century. The pair end up in a giant library containing 'a whole planet of books' which has been abandoned for 100 years. The library is full of books containing spoilers to people's life stories, dead bodies, 'data ghosts', 'the Suit Creature' and 'the dreaded Vashta Nerada, which are piranha of the air, shadows that melt the flesh." Donna is separated from the Doctor, played by David Tennant, and finds herself in a mysterious hospital with another Doctor called Doctor Moon. ER actress Alex Kingston also appears in the special as an astronaut-cum-archaeologist called Professor River Song. The Sun does not reveal how the episode ends.
