I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2008 has kicked off on ITV1 - with the contestants facing a shock before they had even entered the jungle. Shortly after the 10 celebrities had met, presenters Ant and Dec announced they would be dividing them into two teams - and one member of each team would face a challenge to determine who lived in which of the jungle camps. Former EastEnders star Joe Swash, who has joined the red team, and Blue singer Simon Webbe - representing the yellow team, put themselves forward for the task. Meanwhile, the celebrities also entered the jungle - the red team arriving by parachute, the yellow team crossing perilous water in customised kayaks. And Simon and Joe then took part in the Trauma Tank task, which involved reaching into holes full of insects to retrieve stars. After much screaming, Joe was the winner - meaning the red team got to take advantage of the Home camp, which boasts such features as a double decker bus with beds. The five contestants in the camp - who also included Dani Behr, Marina Navratilova, Brian Paddick and George Takei - dined on bangers and mash on their first night in camp. However the yellow team - consisting of Carly Zucker, Esther Rantzen, Robert Kilroy-Silk, Nicola McLean and Simon Webbe - found themselves in the Away camp, having to sleep on the bug-infested ground and live on basic rations. And tensions are already mounting among the team, with Robert branding Carly a "control freak. You're going to be a nightmare," he told her. The first Bushtucker trial of the series, meanwhile, saw Carly and Dani going head to head in The Long Drop - which saw them having to free themselves from a box suspended in midair. Dani won the task just a split second ahead of Carly - earning the Home camp a roast chicken dinner while the Away camp once again went hungry. Ant and Dec also revealed that the public had voted Nicola and Joe to go head to head in the next Bushtucker trial, The Ice Scream Van - a variation on the show's infamous 'grub-eating' trials.
