A Smurf won the C4 Superstar Dogs: Countdown to Crufts title – a Parsons Russell Terrier called ‘Smurf’!
Smurf and his owner, Sarah Humphreys, took the top prize of the Superstar Dogs trophy, £1000 cash and a place at Crufts this Saturday.
“That was awesome buddy!” said presenter John Barrowman. “You have always been my little ‘superstar dog’ and now you have the official title!”
John, himself the owner of a Jack Russell and English Cocker Spaniel, continued: “Congratulation to Smurf and Sarah. I’m so pleased that a little dog with such a big spirit is the Superstar Dog. I can’t wait to see them again at Crufts.”
“Words can’t describe how proud I am of Smurf,” added Sarah. “To win the contest is unbelievable.”
