Brendan Cole dances onto ITV sheep show!

Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Brendan Cole (opens in new tab) is one of eight celebs to have signed up for ITV's new summer-time reality show Flockstars.

It will be more of a case of Baa Baa Baa than Cha Cha Cha for budding shepherd Brendan as he partners a dog called Hoggy to take on various sheepdog trial challenges in the series, which will be hosted by Gabby Logan.

Brendan's rivals will include DJ Tony Blackburn, partnered by Bess; Birds of a Feather actress Lesley Joseph, who's teaming up with Gyp; Place in the Sun presenter Amanda Lamb, who joins forces with Midge; and Coronation Street star Wendi Peters, who's four-legged sidekick is called Bill.

The celebrity line-up, who'll have to round up flocks of sheep, ducks and even geese, is completed by Paralympic dressage champion Lee Pearson, Fazer from N-Dubz and former Eternal singer Kelle Bryan.

The eight-week prime-time series will be shown later this summer. Sadly there's no indication that Ben Shephard will be involved in the series!
