Brian McFadden to host Channel 5 dating show Stand By Your Man

Brian McFadden will present Channel 5's new dating show Stand By Your Man and will team up with co-host, Celebrity Super Spa's Laura Jackson.

The series will see four single men battling it out to win a date with one of 40 girls in the studio audience. The men have to undergo a series of cheeky challenges in a bid to impress the ladies and at the end of each round the girls have to choose their favourite man and stand in a line beside them. The man with the most women in his line at the end of the show is the champion and he can then choose which girl he wants to date.

"I'm over the moon to host this show," says Brian. "Dating should be a fun and exciting experience and I am looking forward to creating some compatible matches, fingers crossed!"

Stand By Your Man will premiere on Channel 5 over the summer.
