Fellow celebrities have had mixed reactions to Britney Spears' new shaven-headed look. "I think it's awesome," Sandra Bullock told US TV show Entertainment Tonight. Former Baywatch star David Hasslehoff was less generous however. "Oh my God what happened to her?" he asked Access Hollywood. "She must have seen a Sinead O'Connor video and like ran it one too many times. Poor thing." Singer Ciara was sympathetic. "I send out my prayers to her because I don't think people really realise how much pressure there is that comes along with what we do," she said. "I'm just wishing her well, send my prayers to her and just hoping everything will just fall in place." Meanwhile, a staff member at the tattoo parlour in Sherman Oaks where Britney went after her haircut, revealed she had asked to play music by troubled 60s rocker Janis Joplin. "She was definitely having a rough time," Emily Wynne-Hughes told TV show Extra. "It did seem a little weird for her head to be shaved. "But she was coherent enough to decide what she wanted to have for a tattoo and there were moments throughout where she seemed like she was having a good time. She added: "Halfway through she asked for her purse... and she reached in it and pulled out a CD. "That CD happened to be Janis Joplin and she asked if we could play it. After she was finished getting her tattoos... [she] seemed like she was in a better place."
