Viewers couldn't believe it!

Cheryl pulled out all the stops on last night's The Greatest Dancer as she surprised her acts with three special guests.

As her dance act Froboacks took to the stage to perform their routine, which involved a "social network" challenge, fans were treated to some cameos from some famous faces.

But viewers couldn't believe their eyes when Cheryl's very own ex Liam Payne video called her during the show.

As Liam's hit Strip That Down started playing, his name popped up on the front of a phone on the big screen behind the dancers, sending fans into a frenzy.

The 35-year-old then answered the call, with Liam telling her, "Chez, can you put the Frobacks on please?"

She jokingly rolled her eyes and made a face before turning the phone back to face the stage.

Liam continued to the dance group, "Hey man you guys are killing it. I’d love you to show me some tricks sometime so make sure to get my number off Chez, OK?”

Within seconds, fans rushed to Twitter as they went wild over the friendly exchange that had just taken place between the exes - who split last summer.

"The Greatest Dancer just had Cheryl's group dancing and Liam was on it. I'm - " one wrote adding a crying emoji and a laughing face.

"Is anyone watching The Greatest Dancer?? We just saw Liam and OMG Chery's face," another said.

"I Screamed. They just put Liam into a dance on The Greatest Dancer in front of Cheryl," a third commented.

But while Liam, 25, was probably the most shocking guest given their history, he wasn't the only one of Cheryl's famous pals to make an appearance on the show, as she also called upon the help of Robbie Williams and Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.

As the group began dancing, a Robbie Williams song played, prompting a huge reaction from the audience as Robbie himself appeared on the screen.

The same thing happened again after a song by Little Mix played and Perrie Edwards popped up on the screen.

We're still in shock!
