Has Adam lost his mojo?

Cold Feet creator Mike Bullen has promised there’s plenty more laughs in store as filming begins on the eighth series of the hugely popular comedy drama.

Stars James Nesbitt (Adam), Hermione Norris (Karen), Robert Bathurst (David), Fay Ripley (Jenny) and John Thomson (Pete) are all returning.

And Mike said: “It's great to be back in Manchester at the start of another shoot. We've still got so many stories to tell for these characters and I'm delighted that we're being given the opportunity to tell them. As usual, we'll be aiming for the viewers' funny bones and tear ducts.”

The plots for the new six-part series include single Adam fearing he’s lost his mojo as he can’t find any dates, while Karen’s daughters turn eighteen, leaving her wondering whether her business will be enough to fulfil her in her later years. Meanwhile, David might become a kept man, while things seem to be going well for Jenny and Pete – surely that won’t last?!

Other cast coming back include Siobhan Finneran as Nikki, Jacey Sallés as Ramona and Ceallach Spellman as Matthew.

Cold Feet returned for a sixth series in 2016 after a 13-year absence from television screens and series seven aired last year.
