Since my couch potato post last Saturday was about Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, you'd expect me to be picking The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers today, wouldn't you? Well, I'm not going to, but it's on Channel 4 at 7.30pm, so there you go.
I'd much rather post about Nicole Kidman today, since she's recently been in the news, having come top of Forbes Magazine’s list of overpaid stars. Click here to see the full list.
So why are all these stars proving to be such a bad return on investment? Have they all lost their ability to act or does this have something to do with the films they're hired to star in?
Everyone has high hopes for Baz Luhrmann’s Australia though – Kidman’s next movie - so it will be interesting to see how this one does at the box office.
Tonight's 1989 thriller sees Nicole Kidman in her breakthrough role. I just love that 80s hair.
