The 1993 Peter Bogdanovich movie The Thing Called Love tells the tale of four young singers struggling to win fame in the country music capital of Nashville. The four aspiring stars meet and get distracted by love while auditioning at the infamous Bluebird Cafe.
Set in Music City, and featuring appearances from a host of real country stars, including Pam Tillis, K.T. Oslin and Trisha Yearwood, it's a must-see for anyone who's become hooked on More4's Nashville and found themselves developing a taste for country music.
This movie stars Sandra Bullock, Samantha Mathis, Dermot Mulroney and River Phoenix. And sadly this was Phoenix's final screen role before his untimely death.
The Thing Called Love is showing tomorrow - Tuesday 5th March - on Sky Movies Indie at 8.20am
