Couch Potato's Tuesday Teaser: Which 3000 Miles to Graceland star has been channelling Elvis throughout his career?

In the 2001 film 3000 Miles to Graceland, Kevin Costner, Christian Slater, David Arquette, Bokeem Woodbine and Kurt Russell star as Elvis impersonators involved in a Las Vegas bank robbery.

But for Russell, this wasn't the first time he'd channelled The King. Back in the late 1970s he starred as Presley in the award-winning biopic Elvis, and in the 1990s he provided the voice of the singer in Forrest Gump.

So, how come there's been such a Presley presence in Kurt's career?

Who knows, but maybe something was ignited back in the 1960s when Russell appeared as a small child in the musical Elvis Presley film It Happened at the World's Fair.

3000 Miles to Graceland is showing tonight - Tuesday 15th November - on TCM at 10.45pm.
