Celebrated British actress Dame Judi Dench has been honoured with another award nomination - a Golden Globe nod for her performance in BBC One's Cranford. There are plenty of other British nominees in the short-list, too, including Kate Winslet, Ralph Fiennes, Emma Thompson and Tom Wilkinson. Dame Judi, 74, is up for Best Actress in a Mini-Series for her performance as Matty Jenkyns in the BBC adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's Cranford. Fiennes, 45, received two nominations - Best Actor in A Mini-Series for Bernard & Doruis and Best Actor in A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for The Duchess. Winslet gets a Best Actress nomination for Revolutionary Road, as well as a Best Supporting Actress nod for The Reader. The late Heath Ledger is up for Best Supporting Actor for The Dark Knight. The Full Monty star Tom Wilkinson is shortlisted for Best Actor in A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for John Adams, with an additional Lead Actor nomination for his work in the TV film Recount.
