David Walliams' new book is The Bear Who Went Boo!

David Walliams has announced the name of his new picture book is The Bear Who Went Boo!.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge has teamed up with award-winning illustrator Tony Ross again.

The Bear Who Went Boo! is Walliams’ fourth picture book and will be published in hardback on November 5.

The book tells the tale of a 'very cheeky polar bear cub' who loves startling other animals.

Speaking about the book, Walliams said: “Tony Ross has done a magnificent job bringing my words to life.”

Ross, best known for illustrating the Horrid Henry series, said: “A white bear in a white landscape – definitely a challenge, but a new text from David Walliams – always a delight.”

Walliams has also enjoyed success publishing several fiction novels for children.

His most recent novel, Awful Auntie, has sold more than 657,000 copies and was also named the biggest selling book, across all categories, published in 2014.
