TV presenter Eamonn Holmes has called in his lawyers over jokes made about his weight on impressionist Jon Culshaw's BBC show. According to the News Of The World the This Morning and Sky News host was so annoyed by the funnyman's impersonation of him on The Impressions Show - complete with catchphrase 'I was fierce hungry, I was' - that his legal team has sent a letter of complaint to the corporation. And the presenter is reported to have looked uncomfortable when he and co-star Debra Stephenson appeared as guests on This Morning in 2009. However BBC bosses have admitted they were shocked to receive the letter. "Staff were surprised because initially Eamonn seemed to find the funny side," a source said. "He has spoken about having no willpower to diet and being overweight so it didn't seem a big deal." A BBC insider told the paper that the Eamonn Holmes character would not feature in the next series of the show, currently being filmed, but added that this was not linked to his complaint. A spokesman for Holmes added, "There have been discussions with the BBC and Eamonn is happy to say the matter has been resolved."
