Ex EastEnders star Lacey Turner will reprise her role as army girl Molly Dawes when Our Girl returns for a five-part series.
Our Girl, which screened as a one-off drama on BBC1 earlier this year, starred Lacey as Molly, who joins the army to escape her troubled life.
The show, which was a massive hit with viewers, saw Molly conquer her demons and prove herself before going on to join the Royal Army Medical Corps. The new series will follow Molly on her deployment to Afghanistan, and see her face challenges that will change her for ever.
Lacey shot to fame as mouthy Stacey Slater in EastEnders, last seen fleeing Albert Square in April 2010 after confessing she'd murdered Archie Mitchell.
Our Girl will return to BBC1 next year.
