Ex Emmerdale star Kelsey-Beth impresses The Voice judges

Former Emmerdale star Kelsey-Beth Crossley is apparently hoping to launch a singing career.

The 21-year-old actress - who played Scarlett Nicholls, the teenage love child of deceased millionaire Tom King - has auditioned for The Voice, according to The Sun.

Kelsey-Beth, who was in Emmerdale for five years until 2011 and returned briefly last year, is said to have impressed judges Kylie Minogue, Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson with her blind audition.

An insider revealed: "Her audition was a show-stopper. The audience loved it and the judges were pretty impressed too."

The new series of The Voice will screen on BBC One next year.
