The Muppets has been snapped up by ABC for a full series - the first since 1998 - for their 2015/2016 schedules and it already looks like a must see.
In the trailer, Kermit the Frog is seen gathering his Muppet pals together in a meeting room to tell them all about ABC’s plans for what is being touted as a 'more adult' version of the show.
As he tells the cast, the show will follow their personal lives and will be single-camera with cutaways to character interviews.

Some of the scenes we get a sneak peek at include Fozzie being introduced to the disapproving parents of his human girlfriend and Rowlf recovering after surgery in a neck cone.
But the really big news is that Miss Piggy and Kermit will be reunited when the diva agrees to return to star in the show – although whether it will be a happy reunion remains to be seen.
No word on if or when the new Muppets show will screen in the UK.
