Gogglebox posh couple to grill Nigel Farage on their own show

Gogglebox's posh couple Steph and Dom, often seen enjoying a drink or three on the hit show, are to star in their own documentary, Channel 4 has announced.

One-off special, At Home with Steph and Dom (working title), will see the couple as usual in their plush B&B in Kent as they entertain special guest, UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who's a local candidate in the next General Exlection.

In what is promised to be 'an entirely new style of television interview', Farage will enjoy a wine-fuelled evening with Steph and Dom, where he is grilled like never before.

Channel 4 spokesman Ralph Lee said "We are to delighted to give viewers the chance to hang out with Steph and Dom outside the frame of Gogglebox and to see what they make of their high-profile dinner guest. We see Steph and Dom in their usual habitat, cracking open the drinks cabinet, clinking glasses and being as opinionated as ever – but this time we watch them change the format of the classic televised interview."

A transmission date is yet to be announced.
