Grimm fans to get more tales online

Grimm fans are to be treated to extra instalments of the cult crime show online. A growing online fanbase has prompted NBC to produce a web series centring around hit character Monroe to air on NBC.com from January 25, Variety reported. Grimm's Silas Weir Mitchell has become an unlikely heartthrob as Monroe, a reformed Blutbad (a kind of wolfman) who helps lead character Detective Nick Burkhardt solve crimes which are all inspired by fairytales, and feature supernatural creatures that have infiltrated the human world. Budding young writer's assistant Nicholas Peet has been signed up as head Digital Writer to produce the web series set in Monroe and Rosalee's Spice Shop. The four webisodes should help satisfy fan's appetites for Grimm while the US show is on a break until March. Grimm airs on Watch in the UK.
