Helen Flanagan set for ITV2 reality show

Actress Helen Flanagan is reportedly set to take on a new role - starring in her own reality show on ITV2.

According to the Sunday People the former Coronation Street star met with channel bosses last week to negotiate a deal believed to be worth up to £500,000.

In doing so she will follow in the footsteps of Katie Price, Kerry Katona and Peter Andre - whose lives have all come under the spotlight in ITV2 shows.

A source said the channel had made Helen an offer she couldn't refuse - adding that she was flattered by the deal.

"She's excited - she can't believe she has been offered her own show," the insider said.

"She's perfect for ITV2. Her life's a car crash and the British public love to watch it."

Helen sprang to fame as Rosie Webster in Corrie but left the soap in early 2012.

The actress went on to appear in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! where she became memorable for all the wrong reasons as she was voted to do one Bushtucker trial after another.

Her behaviour has since kept her in the spotlight, notably causing outrage after she posed with a gun on Twitter just days after the Sandy Hook school massacre in the US.

Earlier this week it also emerged she had been caught leaving a branch of Boots in Brighton with £200 of goods which had not been paid for.

The 22-year-old, who claimed she had forgotten to pay for the merchandise, described the experience as 'mortifying'.
