Idris Elba breaks his nose training for his new TV series

Luther star Idris Elba is training to be a real-life kickboxer, but hurt himself preparing for his new series Idris Elba: Fighter

Luther star Idris Elba has apparently broken his nose training for his next project.

Idris, who many believe should be the next James Bond, posted a photo on his Instagram account grimacing at the injury.

He wrote underneath the photo: “Think I broke my nose (spellchecked edit)….or it definitely feels like it…..”

The Beasts of No Nation actor didn’t let on how his nose was busted, although he has recently been taking part in kickboxing bouts.

His Instagram has included some pretty eye-catching pictures and videos of him in training.

Idris, who also boxed in his twenties, is in training for Idris Elba: Fighter. The Discovery Channel series, expected to screen next year, will follow the actor in his quest to become a kickboxer — ultimately competing in a professional bout.
