I’m A Celebrity ‘sign up’ THIS Good Morning Britain star for 2019 series

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is back on our TV screens next month

I'm A Celebrity is just weeks away from launching the brand new series on ITV, so naturally all talk is about which celebs will be on this year’s show.

One new name to pop up is Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway, who has reportedly signed up to take part after she was forced to pull out of last year’s series due to her hectic schedule.

According to The Sun, the GMB presenter has booked the time off work and will fly out to Australia in the coming weeks.

Back in March, Kate revealed how her two children Darcey, 13, and William, 10, were desperate to see her become a campmate.

She explained: “I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know. My kids would love me to do it, I don’t know what that says.”

But she admitted taking part in the show seemed like “torture.” She said: “People keep saying I’d be good in there and basically what that means is you want to see me tortured.

“Like really close friends say, ‘Oh you’d be amazing, I really want you to do it.’ And it’s like, ‘What have I done to you?’ Does anybody want to go through that torture, I don’t know?”

An ITV representative said that the reports are just “speculation” and a full line-up will be released nearer transmission.

Kate isn’t the only TV star set to appear as Ulrika Johnson has also reportedly signed up to be a jungle campmate this year.

“Ulrika has been through a lot in the past few years. And now that she is getting divorced she feels the time is right for a new challenge,” a source claimed to The Sun.

“The Australian jungle certainly fits that description. And she knows that if she signs, it will be the first of many new TV contracts coming her way.

“Ulrika is keen to throw herself back into her presenting work full time and she feels that this could be the right first step for her.”

The insider added: “ITV bosses think she could be a great fit for the jungle, as she won’t hold back when it comes to getting stuck into the challenges.

“After she spoke so candidly about the break-down of her decade long marriage recently, they also think viewers will find her very relatable.”

I’m A Celebrity returns to ITV1 this November.
